Outlook Email not synching with handheld

I just set up my new BB handheld and even set up hotmai on outlook on my PC at home, so I could synch contacts, calendar and emails more diligently than an internet web browser based email... but my emails are not synching!! arrgggh its painful to keep cleaning out inbox 2 times and also have FB messages going to my hotmail bec FB on my handheld is not showing me new messages.. pls help!!!

Hello,
If you configured your BB to receive email OTA, then there is no direct relationship between your BB and your Outlook client for email. Rather, each will reconcile independently against the email server according to whatever capabilities they have to do so. The BB reconciliation capabilities will be governed by this KB. Outlook reconciliation capabilities will be governed by Outlook.
For your FB issue, check inside of the FB options and make sure that you have checked the box that connects it to your BB Messages app.
Good luck and let us know!

  • Deleted emails not synching with Blackberry - using google apps

Hope you may be able to advise on this.
abcd.com made the transition from Exchange & BES to Google Apps & BIS.
    5 users with blackberrys.
One of the main problems is synching email.
(2nd is duplication of calender & contacts!) When a user deletes an email on his blackberry, it is not deleting on his pc & vice versa.
    Using Outlook 2003
All email is setup via imap & each pc has google sync installed.
    Is this possible?
I have checked email reconciliation settings on the phone.
    delete on mailbox & handheld.
Have gone through every setting imaginable!!
went through this article for example which seems to suggest it is possible but i cant get it to work!

Gmail reconcile TO and FROM Outlook on the PC, on BIS accounts? No.
It will reconcile to the Gmail server, but not "to" Outlook.

  • Hotmail deleted emails not synching with BB ... works other way though

Hi, I'm hoping someone might be able to help me on this.
Only in the past two days when I delete an email from Hotmail on my PC, it does not delete on my BB.
However, if I delete an email from my BB and select "mailbox & handheld", it is deleted from Hotmail on my PC.
I have had the same Pearl 8110 on the same T-mobile package for more than 12 months.
I have checked that wireless reconciliation is "on" in my BB email settings.
Also, late today my BB has started truncating all my messages and not providing the "more" option or automatically loading the rest of the message.
    Any help gratefully received, thanks
    Nel

    Hello,
    If I may...see this KB:
KB05133 Email reconciliation features for the BlackBerry Internet Service
From what you described, it is working as designed. And, before you ask, I have no explanation as to why it may have previously worked different from this KB. But, as of now, what is in that KB governs the behavior you should expect.
    Good luck!

  • My new iphone 5 email is synched with my home office computer Outlook email using a POP account, but deleting an email on my computer does not delete it on my phone and vice versa.  Is there any way to get a true synch?.

My new iPhone 5 email is synched with my home office computer Outlook email using a POP account, but deleting an email on my computer does not delete the email on my phone and vice versa.  Is there any way to get a true synch?.

POP does not support synchronization between the server and clients. You will need to use IMAP or Exchange Active Sync if your email provider supports it.

  • Iphone calendar does not synch with outlook

Starting on Feb 1, my iPhone (5s) does not synch with Outlook (2013). Have tried many things:
    1. Building new Outlook data file (.pst)
    2. Changing synch settings in iTunes
    3. Changing USB cables
4.Removing/reinstalling iTunes and other Aplle software
Problem seems to have started after upgrading iOS and iTunes.
    Any idea?

Yes, that does make sense. You can transfer data from the old .pst file without saving it as a .pst file. Archive your current .pst. Then save your contacts as vCards, and save your calendar as an iCalendar file. After creating the new .pst file, you can open the old calendar in the new .pst as well as import the vCards back to your contacts.
Last question, did you run the scanpst.exe program to review your .pst file for corruption? You will find that, if I remember correctly, in the Office program folder. You can search for it. Run that, it prompts you for your .pst file and will scan it for problems. But saying that it started on a specific date would lead me to believe it is something you probably added that day. Out of all of the time I've been using Outlook 2007, 2010, and 2013 with my iPhones, and I've had them since the first one, I've only had 2 small events, and copying over the .pst has fixed them both.

I need help syncing my computer outlook email (through Yahoo) with my iphone.  When I delete an email on my computer it is still in my inbox on my phone. Please help.

Your computer is probably set up to access your Yahoo mail using POP3. POP3 does not synchronize with the server. For full synchronization, you will need to use IMAP instead. See the Yahoo mail help pages for instructions on how to configure your mail client.

  • IPhone .Mac email not synching very quickly...

    Hi,
I've been experiencing problems over the last 2 days with .Mac mail on my iPhone not synching with the .Mac server properly. It seems to be if I delete an email on my iPhone, the server doesn't reflect the change, and then eventually I get the emails in my Inbox again on the iPhone as if they are new. I thought maybe this was a glitch with the .Mac server yesterday, but am experiencing the issue again today.
The only change I made to my mail settings on the iPhone yesterday was to make my .Mac mail my main account in the Settings>Mail screen.
    Anyone got any ideas?

    chiltoni,
Try deleting your .Mac email account off the iPhone and re-adding it. To delete the email account, go into Settings > Mail > tap on your .Mac account > Delete account.
    Hope this helps,
    Jennifer B.

  • My Apple TV (1st Gen) will not synch with iTunes on my Laptop

I've been trying to do this for a while, it shouldn't be too difficult i think.
All i want to do is synch all the content on my laptop with my Apple TV (and vice versa) so all the content including photos and home videos is the same on both my Apple TV and my laptop.
    Some points:
There's enough hard drive space on both
I'm using Windows 7 ultimate on my laptop
The correct port exceptions have been added to Windows Firewall
I have purchases on both my laptop and Apple TV from the iTunes store
We're using a wireless network and it while it's possible to get them both cable wired, it would be a pain
Home networking is set up in iTunes on my laptop
I've set up my Apple TV to synch (not stream) with my account on my laptop
Both iTunes and Apple TV are up to date with their downloads
I think that's it - am i missing anything, or should this now just work?
    Cheers
    David

    As per the question, really...
"My Apple TV (1st Gen) will not synch with iTunes on my Laptop"
    There's no error messages
Only the films i've bought on my AppleTV appear on my AppleTV
It's been synching for over 4 hours and hasnt got past the first film and the progress bar is not moving

  • Messages from iPad not Synching with MacBook Pro when Powered Off

I have the new MacBook Pro (2 GHz, i7, purchased Feb 2014), 15" Retina running OSX 10.9.4.  I also had an iPad3 (Retina) but just upgraded to the new iPad Air 2 weeks ago.  I do not have an iPhone, but that's next.  I have used the same iCloud account for all devices.
    The issue:
Messages (or message conversations) that I have when using my iPad Air are not synching with the MacBook under certain conditions.
    1) If my MacBook is on, there is no issue. Messages between devices (whether being composed on the iPad or MacBook) synch instantly between devices.
    2) If my MacBook is sleeping, most (but I do not think all) messages sent from my iPad will synch with the MacBook when it wakes up from sleep.
    3) If my MacBook was powered off and I had message conversations using my iPad while the MacBook was off, these messages do not synch with my MacBook after I turn it back on.  BUT, this depends:
         a) if I power on the MacBook shortly after (5-10 min) I had the message conversation on the iPad, sometimes these messages on the iPad will synch with my MacBook after I power it on.
         b) If my MacBook was powered off for several hours after I had a message conversation on my iPad, and then I power on the MacBook, these conversations are not synching on the MacBook at all.
i.e Assume MacBook is powered off.  I have a message conversation on my iPad at 4:30 PM.  If I power on my MacBook at 4:35 PM, the message from my iPad synchs with the MacBook.  However, if I power on my MacBook say at 10 PM or the next day, then the message conversation I had on the iPad DOES NOT synch with my MacBook.
Confused?  So am I.  To complicate matters, I did not have these issues while I had my old iPad 3.  I only starting noticing it when I bought the new iPad Air two weeks ago.  I do not know if this is related.
Another issue:  SOME message conversations on my MacBook and iPad air now appear to get out of chronological order.  In fact, on my iPad air, I received a message at 10 AM (message A) and then had several other messages with this person throughout the day on my iPad (at 11 AM, and then 2 PM).  Later that evening around 10 PM, the original message (message A) was received again as a new message on my iPad (i.e. received a new message notification).  Now, message A appears out of order (it shows the timestamp of 10 AM, but it displays after the messages that came at 11 AM and 2 PM).  Since my MacBook was on, these messages synched with my MacBook, but were (and remain) in the proper chronological order.
Other iCloud apps (calendar, mail, FaceTime notifications, notes, keychain, Photo-stream etc. seem to be synching fine between devices).  One last observation, when I bought the iPad air and restored it from the backup I made from the old iPad 3, everything restored fine from the backup except for Calendar.  For whatever reason, some old calendar entries did not restore on the new iPad.
I have run a myriad of tests (sending messages to myself from both my new and old iPad (even created a new apple ID from the old iPad)) with my MacBook sleeping or powered off for varying amounts of time in order to provide the information above.  I also reinstalled the operating system on my MacBook but this did not resolve the issue.
If anyone has any ideas or suggestions, I would be extremely grateful. I have been in contact by phone with Apple support and have them baffled as well, but they are doing their best to help.
    Thanks,
    HankSTL

  • My new macbook air is not synching with my iPod classic anymore

any ideas on why my new macbook air is not synching with my iPod classic anymore?  It used to just show up on iTunes but it's not there now

iTunes will only transfer music from the iPhone that were bought at Apple's iTunes store. You'll need to use a third party program such as Senuti to transfer music you got from other sources.
