Outlook email with Shaw Account

I have a BB Pearl and when I bought it a few years ago I managed to sync my Outlook onto my Pearl so I receive all messages. I recently bought a Bold 9700 and although I have downloaded the Desktop Manager and synced my address book, it won't sync my emails. How do I get it to do that?

Are you attempting to have your BB sync your email via your Outlook client? Or via your email server? Typically, it's the latter...and here is the instruction KB:

Welcome to Apple Support Communities.
It's probably quite simple, and nothing to do with your Address Book group.
It is a matter of 'junk mail' or 'spam' filtering on the recipient end, I think.
1. Apparently not everyone in your Address Book group (12 of 15 apparently?) has your current email address among their 'permitted email addresses', so, your original email message ends up in their 'junk mail' or 'spam filter' or whatever it is called by their email provider. Some businesses and schools also filter incoming messages for subject, language, content, or by sender's address (one company I dealt with prohibited all incoming email from Hotmail, for example), so it could be filtered at that level. In that case, the recipient might have to specifically ask the IT department to add your email address to a 'permitted' list.
2. When someone else in the group hits 'reply all', THEIR email address IS among the 'permitted email addresses' for everyone else, and they are in effect 'forwarding' your message from their email address, so the filtering affecting your email address does not affect their re-sending of your message.

Outlook 2011: Can't send emails with one account?

Hi,
I can't send any emails with one of my accounts on outlook 2011 even though I can receive emails. To clarify, I've never been able to send any emails from this account with Outlook 2011; I always have to go on the internet to do that. My main account works
fine, though. I don't really know much about email accounts. Can anyone help me with this?

Can't sent email with hotmail account

Since 1 st of july I'm unable to sent email with my hotmail account with my i phone.
Problems with smtp

You won't be able to change your rescue email address until you can answer your questions, if you don't have access to your current rescue address then you will need to contact iTunes Support / Apple in your country to get the questions reset.

Converting Microsoft Outlook Emails with JPEG attachments to a pdf

Hi,
I have emails with jpeg attachments. When I open the email message and clikc the "Convert to PDF", the message is converted to a pdf but the pdf does not have the attachments. I'm assuming there is some setting for this that I can't seem to locate. I have Acrobat X

Hi Jay,
You can use the 'Acrobat' plugin in Outlook and select the messages or folders to convert to pdf
The attachments of the mails will be included in the attachment section of the pdf files.

Outlook email with my iphone.

I can send and receive messages just fine. But when I delete messages in Outlook on my computer that is not reflected on iphone. They still appear on my phone as unread messages.

Sorry. I have the same problem. Been using iphone with Exchange account for 1 year, and this issue just developed. Something has changed. Actions taken from Outlook (MS office 2011 on Macbook Pro, Lion) like reading or deleting are no longer reflected on the phone. New messages appear, but messages that are read or deleted from Outlook are not updated on the phone. Furthermore, if you then proceed to mark them "read" and then delete them, you'll find two copies of the deleted message in the "Deleted" mailbox on the exchange server.
Does anyone know what is going on? This issue makes using mail on my phone pretty useless.

Hi there! I have a 2014 kia C'eed and I also can't get my ipod nano to connect to the bluetooth. Works ok when I plug it into the usb port though, but didn't want to have to be constantly unplugging it when leaving the car. The nano sees the BT in car but car can't seem to find my nano. If you find a solution can you let us know please?!!!

Any new suggestions on how to send emails with godaddy account on iphone?

Godaddy email is my only email account that I cannot send emails from on my iphone. Have called everyone and read everything many times about what seems to be a common issue but verizon, godaddy and apple all have same answers, no answers or act surprised.
Tried every combination and suggestion like everyone else to no avail.
Godaddy immediately refers you to their app which works ok but it's another step and separate. Seems like they're blocking outbound to get people to use their app which is cluttered with their other usual money spending choices.
Otherwise I can't believe they're not aware of this and have no fix.
If anyone has suggestion that hasn't been mentioned 100 times online please let me know.

You don't have to pass the file name in the exec() in the script. Only the directory path for vbs execution in the VB Script. What you can do is check for the presence of the filename in the required directory using file_exists() function.
Create three Global Variable ($GV_FILENAME, $GV_PATH, $GV_FILE) and pass the file name and path to these variables.
$GV_PATH = 'C:\Temp';
$GV_FILENAME = '37957.pdf';
$GV_FILE ='"||$GV_PATH||'\\'||$GV_FILENAME||"';
Then write a ifelse condition in the script like below -
if(file_exists($GV_FILE) !=0)

Having problem to send email with POP account ...

Hi,
I didn't have that problem before upgrading to my new 3GS iPHone. I have 3 email accounts on my iPhone: POP (videotron.ca), GMail and MobileMe. They all work fine except my POP account.
From the POP account I can receive my email but I cannot send any. Funny enough, my emails are sent when the account is desactivated from my «Mail, contacts and Calendar» preferences on my iPhone.
Can somebody help me ? Regards.

I upgraded with the Iphone 3Gs a week ago and got the same problem with Videotron. The problem is with videotron as usual. If you want to be able to send email from your Iphone just go to Gmail, open an account FREE with them and then use this account to send Email...Work perfectly OK with me. Then of course you will have to phone videotron to make sure your account is fully available when you go on there Web site open the read email and be able to read your email if not solve the problem with them by phone. unless you will be able to send email easily with gmail and mather of fact it is free.

I have had itunes for years, however, old account was setup under [email protected] and I no longer have that e-mail or ATT internet service so everytime I want to update my e-mail account with my new [email protected] it wll not let me because I tried to update from my itues account and just changed the e-mail id field and it allowed me to update however it actually just made me have another seperate account under my current e-mal.

In iTunes, do Store->View my AppleID
Click "Deuthorize ALL"
Then, on any computers you still have, do Store->Authorize this computer. If there are less than 5, you will have no problem.
You can only do "deauthorize all" once a year, so in the future, if you ever throw a computer away, remember do to "Store->Deauthorize this computer" first.

What settings should I use to "hold" emails on my Outlook email using SHAW.CA

My iPHONE6 is new this week. SHAW.CA technical support (x3) cannot make my settings on my iphone6 HOLD my EMAILS. They appear and in 1 minute they disappear. What settings should I have? I see they used EXCHANGE to set up my email while APPLE in MAIL SETTINGS LOOKUP points to

Email with two accounts

It may be hard to explain but here goes. I have my email address as aol on the iPad, and I also added an email address for my wife with a separate aol email address. When I sent an email from my aol address to my wife's email address it doesn't show up in mail. Only mail for me at my email address shows up in mail. Is it because the iPad is only registered in my name only? In other words is it possible to have both accounts able to receive email under each individual address on the iPad? Both accounts are set up as IMAP on the AOL web site. The two separate accounts work good on my iMac. If possible how do I do it?

You are sending an email from [email protected] to [email protected]? Of course they won't show up on the same account; they are different accounts. So, be sure you're looking in the correct place on the iPad. There should be no trouble otherwise.

It should be noted that just relying on the browser handling for the [url mailto: reference|http://www.w3.org/TR/WD-html40-970708/htmlweb.html] does not guarantee handling by any specific email application. It is completely up to the browser implementation - The HTML 4.0 spec does not specify any handling other than:
MAILTO URLs have the following syntax:
mailto:email-address
User agents may support MAILTO URL extensions that are not yet Internet standards (e.g., appending subject information to a URL with the syntax "?Subject=my%20subject" where any space characters are replaced by "%20").
Then again - given that WDA supports so few browsers (user agents!), you could probably get around the different support in each them in a reasonably common way.
To ensure that it is MS Outlook you are launching and potentially pass more data into that email you'll need to make use of the [ACFExecute functionality|http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw70ehp1/helpdata/en/47/b91539878a2d67e10000000a42189c/frameset.htm] and then also the [command-line interface of Outlook.|http://www.brighthub.com/office/collaboration/articles/21840.aspx]

Generating Outlook email with mailto signature is missing

i have to generate email in Outlook with a mailto: ...
I have to put a message text into the content of the email, too and at least there should be the standard signature of my outlook.
If i fill the body with the message text, the signature is not shown.

You can try to rename (or delete) the mimeTypes.rdf file in the Firefox profile folder to reset all file actions.

You can check the network.protocol-handler.external.mailto prefs on the about:config page.
If network.protocol-handler.external.mailto prefs are user set (bold) then right-click and Reset them to the default value.

Mail Boxes in email with AOL Account on Iphone4

On my new Iphone4 my email boxes only show Inbox and Trash no Spam or Deleted box as shown on my Ipod touch. I cannot find a way to add them to the list. Can anyone tell my how to add these and why they don't show up when I have never had a problem with the Touch or my Ipad for email.

How many email accounts do you have on the phone? Make sure you are not in All Inboxes, it does not show all the folders to each email account. Keep going back until you reach Mailboxes then under Accounts click on the account you are trying to view the other folders from.
