Outlook Express doesnt Sync all details in Iphone?

I am facing a prob of sync between Outlook express and Iphone.
First I entered manually all my contacts on the outlook express taht doesnt support more than 1 number per description. for example I cannot enter 2 phone number with Mobile description. If in case I put the second mobile as assistant or Pager or something else, most of them r not synchonized to the Iphone. which mean I had to review all the list on my Iphone in order to add them manually in the Add COntacts
is that happening with anyone? what can be the solution? coz I am loosing some data here

can u please explain me more about the apple address book appli, why It is not an application that can be downloaded on windows Vista?
exactly Iphone provide all this labels, and actually this is what I am doing right now, I am adding my multi numbers in Iphone, using the predefined labels or even using the customized label. and this is Ok
only the prob that I was trying to synchonize all at once from Microsoft office oultlook , that i discover that I lost many data.
even in Microsoft Office outlook they are not saved properly.
Actually they have many many labels but you cannot double any one, there will be a conflict, meaning if I saved a number as Mobile , and then I choose Mobile again and enter another number, both mobile description will contain then the same cell number.

Assistant
Business 1
Businnes 2
pager
callback
car
compagny
home 2
home......
and many other, but the problemm that no way to edit any label and also (and this is very normal becoause Iphone does not support the labels) it does not synchonize all labels. If I put a phone number as assistant, it will not be synchonized

You need to copy the iTunes liubrary from your Old computer, or its Backup, to your New computer...

From your Old Computer... Copy your ENTIRE iTunes FOLDER to an External Drive... and then from the External Drive to your New Computer..

My Outlook Calender wont sync with iCloud/iPad/iPhone? despite doing everything as per the support page. I keep on clicking the Add in but it wont "take"?
It use to, but no matter what I try nothing works. Using Windows 7. HELP!

This step is not clear:
"Open a secure website to see if you can access ports 80 and 443. Outlook requires access to port 443 to push and fetch updates to and from the iCloud Contacts servers."
The link takes me to an Apple page but which has nothing to do with ports. And there is nothing to explain what it is I am looking for, how to look for it, and how to change it if needed.
Also, this step:
"Open the iCloud Control Panel and make sure that you're signed in to the same iCloud account that you're using on your other supported devices."
iCloud automatically set up a "[email protected]...." account for me so I see that one plus my original email used to open my Apple account. And the apple products show my settings under both identities.
Make sure the iCloud Outlook Add-in is active within Outlook
This add-in is disabled because it doesn't allow Outlook to function properly.

ICloud won't sync all contacts from iPhone to iCloud

Hi,
So I have 1090 contacts on my iPhone 4S. I have iCloud set up and when I go to iCloud.com or when I sync my MacBook Air (Lion) with iCloud only 590 contacts are merging. I have turned iCloud on and off on my iPhone to see if this would trigger a new sync but the same amount of contacts seem to merge. Does anyone have any idea how I can get all my contacts from my iPhone to merge to iCloud?

I know this is an old thread, but since I had the same issue and finally solved it, I'll post this for future reference.
I had over 300 contacts on my iPhone 4 but only about 60 were showing up in iCloud. Saw lots of discussion, tried a few things, but here is the fix that worked for me.
1. Got to Settings
2. Go to iCloud
3. Slide Contacts option to Off (You'll get a warning, make sure you choose to save the Contacts on your phone)
4. Close out of Settings
4. Wait 5 minutes or so
5. Go back to Settings\iCloud
6. Slide Contacts option to On (You'll get a message asking to merge Contacts, say yes)
7. Go to Settings\iCloud\Storage & Backup
8. Select Back Up Now
That should do it. All of my iPhone Contacts are now in iCloud

I'v lost all my information on my old pc and now I've bought new pc and installed itunes on it.
now I want to sync all my app to itunes and get full backup from my iphone to pc but just 49 apps out of 313 apps can be transfered.
what should I do to transfer all 313 apps of my iphone to my new pc.
by the way I bought 40% of these apps and I have new version of itunes on my pc

You need to copy everything from your old computer, or your backup copy of your old computer, to your new one.
It has always been very basic to always maintain a backup copy of your computer files/docs/pics/music/etc. Use this to put everything back.
If for some reason you have failed to maintain a backup copy (not good), then you can transfer itunes purchases from an ipod: File>Transfer Purchases
The music sync is one way - computer to iphone. The only exception is itunes purchases.

Outlook will not sync all my Tungsten E2 Calendar

I believe I've read every post about syncing Palm to Outlook but have yet to find the answer to my problem.
After updating my Palm software and installing the appropriate Palm conduits, I still can't get MS Outlook to sync my entire calendar from my Tungsten E2. (Only some appointments (mostly recurring) before 2007 appear.) I just get the following log message:

Please please help! I'm a tecnology lightweight and don't know how to handle this any further. I'm afraid that installing Pocket Mirror will only create further damage/confusion to my desktop. Also, I simply can't go in and re-tool every appointment in my handheld just to sync with Outlook.

I have an iphone 3 and outlook 2010. I cleaned up all my outlook contacts and tried to sync but not all of the existing contacts on my phone show up in outlook. Is there a way to sync all numbers on iphone to oulook so I can clean them up from my desktop?

I have an Iphone 3 and use Outlook 2010. I just recently tried to sync with my desktop using Itunes and once they were synced I cleaned up alot of the contacts using outlook but when I tried to sync them not all the information from outlook made it to my iphone. Additionally, there are a lot of contacts in my iphone that are not showing up in outlook. I have tried several things but nothing seems to work. Any ideas?

So after looking a bit closer i have noticed that when i have the phone plugged into the computer it shows the songs but when i dont have it plugged in and i go so the song icon on the bottom of the music menu screen it says i have no songs!

Outlook Calendar doesnt sync

I had exactly this problem - except it was also my contacts. I did what has previously been suggested - that is recreate my PST file that contains the personal folder (inbox, contacts, calendar etc). By the way Outlook was working fine as far as I could tell. I did the following :
- made a copy of the orignal PST file
- exported the contents of the calendar, inbox, contacts to seperate files
- create a new pst file
- imported the data from the exported files
Bob's your uncle everthing worked
BTW I had over 1600 contacts, but did empty out my inbox and other folders that I wanted to save to speed things up a bit.

Since updating to itunes 10.1.2 it tries to "re-sync" all apps to iphone

i just updated to itunes 10.1.2 a few days ago. ever since, when i plug my iphone 4 32GB (iOS 4.2.1) in to sync, itunes will try to install all the existing apps i have back onto the phone even though they are already on the phone and have not been updated. with over 1,000 apps on my iphone this obviously is time consuming (and unnecessary since a sync is only meant to copy over new or updated apps).
here is the situation:
1) i purchased new apps on my iphone
2) i did not purchase any new apps on my computer and did not update any apps on my computer
3) so the sync should only update apps FROM my phone TO the computer, not vice versa.
however, when the sync begins it will correctly start the step "transferring purchases FROM iphone", but then it will stop it before it completes (it only actually copies over 1 or 2 of the 10 or so apps i bought on the phone) and then it immediately goes into the step "syncing apps TO iphone" which i already pointed out nothing has changed or been added with regards to apps on my computer. this is when it "installs" all the apps from my computer to my phone which already exist and are up to date on my phone.
i went ahead let it do that sync overnight hoping that once it completes it wouldn't do it anymore. when i got up the next morning it was only HALF way through (again, i have over 1,000 apps on my phone). then when i unplugged it and tried to sync again it simply started back at the beginning. if it were truly syncing it would have realized it already did half of the apps and not start at the beginning the next time. so i have no doubt if i waited 16 hours for it to go all the way through, it would still just do it all over again the next time i sync. and there's no way i can be phone-less for 16 hours anyway.
this is extremely frustrating. i have had to stop the sync and restart it many many times for it to finally copy over to my computer all the apps i bought on my phone since it keep stopping that step after only doing 1 or 2 apps.
i have already tried doing a hard reset of my iphone and doing a shutdown and re-start of my computer. but this did not fix the problem.
anyone else having this issue or suggestions?

i have also now noticed that if i delete an app on my iphone, when i go to sync the process will not notify my computer that the app was deleted, instead itunes simply re-installs it back onto my phone.

Photostream does not sync all photos to iPhone and iPad

I have deleted some photos from the Phototream on my iMac leaving only photos taken with my iPhone from May this year. The Photostream on bpth phone and ipad only displays about 50% of these. How do I get them all to sync?

Can't sync all music to iPhone ?

Hello all
I'm currently trying to sync my music which is a total of 2358 tracks to my iPhone 5 (6.0.1)
However when updating my music to my iPhone it only syncs 2331 songs (not a massive differance but still annoying)
So far I have: restored my phone from scratch, deleted all music from the phone and rebooted. checked for updates on both iTunes and iPhone. Restored from a back up and tried dragging and dropping the missing tracks. I've tried the obvious of just pressing the Sync button on the music tab as well. I've made sure that its not syncing only ticked tracks and made sure that the new tracks wern't CP protected. I do work for another tech company so I deal with troubleshooting all the time but I'm baffled by this one!

Smrt album not syncing all photos to iPhone

I made a smart album today, and then chose to sync that smart album to my iPhone from iTunes. However, iTunes syncs only 5 photos. Aperture tells me there are 86 photos.
I figured the problem was that only 5 photos had previews generated. However, I have used the Update Preview function on 6 photos, as well as the Generate Preview function on 6 photos. However, iTunes still says there are only 5 photos in the smart album. (I chose 6 photos because in the best case for my test, I would get 6 new previews, while in the worst case I would get 1 new preview. In any case, I would get some new previews.)
When I use iPhoto to "Show Aperture Library", I see only 5 photos as well.
Does anyone have any ideas on how to get this smart album to sync? Am I on the right track with the previews?

Yes, other albums sync, although I have only 1 other album selected. The rest of the Aperture -> iPhone integration is done by iTunes's "All projects within the past x days" selection. Come to think of it, I'm not sure if they are all there... I will have to check that out.
Good suggestion, however, I'm pretty darn sure it doesn't have to do with the iPod Photo cache. I tested the Aperture sharing capability by looking at this smart album through iPhoto, and it (like iTunes) says only 5 photos are in the smart album. It's something to check when I get back to the mac, though.

Cannot sync all music to iphone 5

On my new iphone 5, all the songs in the playlist do not sync, only the ones purchased that have a check next to them. The other songs will not allow me to check the boxes - how do I get the entire playlists to sync?

I have had this problem. Many posts on the forum, I have spent hours trying to fix this with those suggestions and no luck. Thought apple might get their act together in 8.1.1 update but I have not heard of that fixing this issue.
Temporary fix is to uncheck the sync of music on iTunes and sync your phone so that all music should be off...then go to the Settings>General>Usage>Manage Storage (Under storage tab not iCloud)>Music then Edit and delete all songs. For some reason there are often songs remaining on your phone even when you have told iTunes not to sync music. Be aware some of these syncs can take hours.
At that point your music app should show no music.
I have turned off iCloud sync and iTunes match (not sure if that was necessary.)
Go back to iTunes and sync the music you want by checking playlists, etc. (This takes at least 2 hours for my phone given the amount of music I have)
***The key after doing this is not so sync your phone again. This stinks because you are not backing up but every time I sync my phone to iTunes after getting the music back on initially it has messed up the music files and some music starts to disappear. I have (every several weeks) done the above process just to have a valid backup.
I am VERY frustrated. Forget my iPhone 6+ bending, this issues and the time spent is almost enough for me to leave the iPhone...despite having iMac, Macbook pro, apple TV, iPads...
