Outlook Express warning, and it is not used.

I keep getting this message (in red), at log on all of a sudden. We do not use Outlook Express, but use Hotmail which is Outlook.com ... I believe?? They are two different things? Am I correct?
To free up disk space, Outlook Express can compact messages. This may take up to a few minutes.
I searched a few places and do not want to mess up the computer by using them with not being sure. I am not sure if Outlook Express can be completely removed without causing grief. Or go mess around in the registry with a hex key. Kind of scares me in case I mess it up? Here is what I found... but not real confident about what is correct and best move.

If you are referring to this, then I do recommend using the last option listed in it. The reason for this is that I do not have a Windows XP system with Outlook express installed to test this with. The first option's syntax, order of the command, doesn't look proper to me and I can't verify if it is correct or not. I do know that the second option is valid for a Windows OS.

I am using outlook express for my mail. When using internet explorer on PC I could set it up so I could simultaneously see all my inboxes, the mail details and a message preview. Can I do this on my Mac?
About accessing using a browser: I can get in using Firefox or Safari, butI cant set the page up to see all my inboxes at the same time (so I can file emails appropriately) or get a preview to save opening every mail

... please note that the Skype Number will not "ring busy" - if you are using Skype, incoming calls would be diverted according to your Tools -> Options settings. The Skype Number provides a phone number for people to reach you, but the number has nothing to do with outbound calls you place.

Have you selected which disk you want to boot from? In System Preferences, click startup disk and choose the drive you want as your default boot drive.

I just purchased a MacBook Pro and I can not use my Clear broadband.
I just purchased a Mac pro book and I can not use my Clear broadband. A message pops up saying the operating system is running in 64 bit mode . Please switch to 32 bit mode. How do I swich the mode and will this cause problems. There must be other MacBook Pro operators that use Clear broadband as their internet connection.
Never heard of them but I Googled and took a look. Seems as if they offer either a USB modem or a 'home' modem - which do you have?
If you're on a newer Mac (and I see that you are) and running Mountain Lion you cannot start up in a 32-bit kernel. I'm not sure if thise is directly related to the question, actually, as some applications will actually let you 'open' in 32-bit mode. If you're using an application that runs the modem software, try selecting it and doing a "Get Info" (Command-I) from the Finder and see if there is an option to "Open in 32-bit mode".

When I updated my iPad 3 and iPod Touch 4th generation to iOS 6 a few months back, I was able to update the iPad effortlessly over WiFi. but I kept getting error messages when trying to update the iPod over WiFi, so I used iTunes on my MacBook Pro.
Connect the iPad to the computer, launch iTunes. Select the iPad under the devices heading on the left, click on the Summary tab and then click on Check for Update
