Outlook for Mac error code - 3259
I have had this error message for two days
An operation on the server timed out. The server may be down, overloaded, or there may be too much net traffic. Mail could not be sent.
Account name: "PKF"
My email provider is experiencing no problems and my emails are being received and are able to be sent via their website but not through outlook
Help.
PKF
Hi,
This problem may occurs because an incorrect port number is set for the outgoing connection. Try to change the SMPT port to 587:
Start Outlook.
Click Tools then select Accounts.
In the Outgoing Server box change the port to 587.
Close the windows and try send/receive again.
Also, like Karl Timmermans suggested, for Office for Mac issues, better to post your questions to the forum of Office for Mac:

Outlook for MAC error code: -19982
We have 4 Macbook Pro's in the office and neither of them can receive or send mails via Outlook for MAC 2011. Have tried rebuilding the database on all of them but that hasn't helped, it just keeps asking for the password to be re-entered. Anyone with a solution please?
This is a question better suited for the Office for Mac forums.

Photoshop Elements 11 for Mac Error Code 213:5
I recently changed hard-drives; I suspect the problem stems from that. I use Mac OS 10.10. Elements Organizer opens fine. Elements Editor throws the code. Restarting computer does not fix. I do not have either SLStore, or Adobe PCD folders (under Library/Application Support/Adobe)
If you migrated your stuff from your old hard drive, that's your problem. You can never, never migrate an installed version of PSE. You will need to download and run this:
Use the CC Cleaner Tool to solve installation problems | CC, CS3-CS6
and then go around and manually remove any bits you can find (I don't know about yosemite, but in previous versions of OS X Spotlight is programmed specifically to exclude the files you want to find here). Look not only in applications, but also in hard drive>library>application support>adobe, and your username>library>preferences. -

Mavericks causing errors in Outlook for Mac
Since installing Mavericks, Outlook for Mac 2011 is having problems with pop mailboxes on three different servers. Connection errors are being reported avey ten minutes regarding server timeouts, connection has been dropped, server not found. Prior to install there were only sporadic messages like this, mainly with IMAP connections. This time, IMAP connections are not causing the errors, but all my different POP servers. Is anyone else having these problems?
Seach is based on Spotlight index. Mavericks should have re-indexed your entire drive after installing. If it's still running you might want to see if search starts working in Outlook. Otherwise you need to reindex your entire drive. This can take overnight.
You can tell if it's still in progress by simply looking at the Spotlight menu: There's a blinking dot in the middle of the magnifying glass while indexing is occurring. You can also open Activity Monitor in Applications/Utilities and type in md in the search filter. You should see mdworker32 and mdworker. The mdworker32 is the Outlook Spotlight index and mdworker is for system.
Until this process is finished, Spotlight won’t know the contents of your disks and neither will Outlook. All lists like contacts, events, notes etc. are generated by the Spotlight searches.
Rebuilding should never be done to fix issues like this. Rebuilding can result in data loss.
HOW TO RE-INDEX YOUR SPOTLIGHT CACHE FILES
Option 1)
From the Apple menu, choose System Preferences.
* Click Spotlight.
* Make sure Messages & Chats is checked under the Search Results tab.
* Click the Privacy tab.
* Drag your drive and/or Identity to the list. Wait a couple of minutes.
* Remove the item you added.
* Spotlight will re-index the contents of the item you initially dragged to the list.
Option 2)
In Lion/Mountain Lion, there is an additional Repair Permissions application utility hidden away. This tool is located inside boot Repair Utilities. Here's how to access it.
1 Restart and hold down the Command and R keys.
2 You will boot into the Repair Utilities screen. On top, in the Menu Bar click the Utilities item then select Terminal.
3 In the Terminal window, type resetpassword and hit Return.
4 The Password reset utility launches, but you¹re not going to reset the password. Instead, click on the icon for your Mac's hard drive at the top. From the drop-down below it, select the user account where you are having issues.
5 At the bottom of the window, you'll see an area labeled 'Reset Home Directory Permissions and ACLs'. Click the Reset button there.
The reset process takes a couple of minutes. When it¹s done, quit the programs you've opened and restart your Mac. Notice that 'Spotlight' starts re-indexing immediately.
Note: you might want to use Disk Utility to Repair Permissions and Repair Disk while booted from the Repair Drive. -

I'm trying to sync a Sharepoint calendar with Outlook on my mac. When I click on "Connect to Client", I get this error:
Firefox doesn't know how to open this address, because the protocol (stssync) isn't associated with any program.
I used the about:config instructions to create a new string:
* Type about:config into the address bar and press Enter.
* Right-click -> New -> Boolean -> Name: network.protocol-handler.external.foo -> Value -> true (Replacing foo with the protocol you're specifying)
* Right-click -> New -> String -> Name: network.protocol-handler.app.foo -> Value -> /path/to/app (Replacing foo with the protocol you're specifying and /path/to/app with the path to the application you want to run.
* Ensure network.protocol-handler.expose-all is set to true.
The path I used (which opens Outlook if I click on the icon) is:
/Applications/Microsoft Office 2011/Microsoft Outlook.app
I'm still getting the same error message.
Please help me to allow Firefox to open stssync pages so that I can sync my calendars.
Thank you in advance.Straight from the Mothership:

NO SHAREPOINT INTEGRATION!
To be considered a true business software, wouldn't this be a nice feature? Oh yeah, I left feedback and hope many others will as well.

''Currently, Outlook for Mac has no SharePoint integration.''
Please be sure to let Microsoft know you'd like to see this feature in
future versions by using the Help --> Send Feedback mechanism in any
Office application.
Hope this helps! -
Outlook for Mac 2015 keeps crashing
I installed the latest version of outlook for mac about 4 months ago and everything was working very well until yesterday when outlook started crashing. I've tried several fixes that I found in other MS postings like clearing the cache and preferences, creating
another identity but the problem still persists. The error message I'm getting is the following:

I have also tried to remove the UBT8T346G9 files from the 'Group Containers' folder but still the same issue. At this point, I would like to either troubleshoot this issue or revert back to Outlook for Mac 2011. The only issue with going back to 2011 is
exporting my personal folders from 2015 since the .PST folders I exported 4 months ago are no longer up to date. Apparently, export is not an option in 2015.
Thanks for your help,
