Outlook holidays no longer syncing with iPhone

I sync with Outlook, and I have holidays on my Outlook Calendar but they are not on my iPhone. All other calendar entries are displayed. They were there recently, but I can't say for sure if this occurred after upgrading my iPhone 4 to IOS 6 or not.

facing the same problem, it was syncing prior to my upgrade to Lion. have you managed to find a solution?

  • Outlook 2007 no longer syncing with iPhone

My Outlook 2007 calendars were syncing properly with my iPhone 4, until one day my daughter used my computer (Windows 7) to sync to her iPhone under her login.  Ever since, even though I logged back into my account, my main calendar hasn't been syncing with my iPhone, but her calendar has.
We've tried moving the key calendar into the "in iCloud" category in Outlook, nothing.  We've tried turning Calendar Sync off then on again in the iCloud tool, nothing.  It seems like there should be an easy way to fix this, but we're running out of options.  Help!
    Thanks!

  • Calendar no longer syncing with iphone after IOS5.

The appointments in Outlook are no longer syncing with my phone after installing IOS5.  I've uninstalled/reinstalled iTunes.  The itunes add-in in Outlook is disabled and no matter how many times I enable it, it disables.  I've reset my phone.  I've replaced items on this phone with calendar and nothing seems to work.  How do I get my appointments on my phone to be able to sync with iCloud?

I'm on a 4S  IOS 7.1 won't show my Google Calendar I have about 8 that should be showing. FIXED!!
I'm posting this here because your answers didn't help with my particular problem but aimed me in the right direction. so maybe this will help someone else.
    ------------------------------ This is what I tried ------------------------------
At the bottom of the calendar app click Calendars there should be a check to the left of your calendar. (my calendars weren't even listed here)
The google.com/calendar/iphoneselect solution. (mine was checked correctly)
Google 2-step verification (I even turned this on to see if it would help)
Deleting all accounts “Settings – Mail,Contacts,Calendars – Accounts” and starting over
    ------------------------------ My Solution ------------------------------
Since I deleted all my accounts already this is what worked I don't know why.
    Under “Settings – Mail,Contacts,Calendars – Accounts”
I added my google account “add account” “Google”... so on. Calendar was selected.
I added a second account “add account” “other” (at bottom) scroll down to “add CalDav Account” under calendars.
    Server= www.google.com
    user name = your email
    password = your password
    description = whatever
    Calendar was selected.
Then I went to “Settings – Mail,Contacts,Calendars – Accounts” and down towards the bottom I clicked “default calendar” and set it.
    I hope this helps

  • ITunes 9.2 upgrade broken - No longer syncs with iPhone 3GS

I just installed the new iTunes 9.2 (and SL 10.6.4) through Software Update.
After rebooting, I find that iTunes 9.2 no longer syncs with my iPhone 3GS.
iTunes sees my iPhone, but opens the "Set up your iPhone" screen. It tells me:
An iPhone has been previously synced with this computer.
[] Set up as a new iPhone
[] Restore from the backup of [my iPhone 3GS]
This is a horrible bug - I do not wish to erase/restore my iPhone 3GS that synced just fine before the reboot, thankyouverymuch
I tried disconnecting and re-connecting my iPhone 3GS, to no avail...

This worked for me on a win7 machine - haven't tried it on my macbook pro machine:
Restart the Apple Mobile Device Service (AMDS) on Windows :
    1. Windows XP
    * Close iTunes and disconnect the iPhone or iPod touch.
    * Choose Start > Control Panel.
    * Inside the Control Panel, open Administrative Tools.
    * Open Services.
    * Select Apple Mobile Device and click Stop the service as shown below:
    * After the service is stopped, Click Start the service.
    * After the Apple Mobile Device service has started again, open iTunes and connect the device.
    2. Windows Vista
    * Close iTunes and disconnect the iPhone or iPod touch.
    * Click the Windows Start button
    * In the Start Search field type Services.
    * In the Programs section of the search results, Click "Services".
    * Select Apple Mobile Device and click Stop the service as shown below:
    * After the service is stopped, click Start the service.
    * After the Apple Mobile Device service has started again, open iTunes and connect the device.
If after restarting the Apple Mobile Device Service you encounters with same problem then reinstall AMD S. For reinstalling just uninstall the iTunes from control panel then navigate to C:/ >> Program Files >> iTunes Right-click the iTunes folder and select Delete and choose Yes when asked to confirm the deletion. Note: This folder may have already been deleted if iTunes was successfully removed. Now Restart your computer and Install the latest version of iTunes.
Reinstall the Apple Mobile Device Service (AMDS) on Mac OS X :
    # In the Finder, locate iTunes in the Applications folder and drag it to the Trash.
    # Move the iTunes icon to the Trash
    # Choose Go > Go to Folder.
    # Enter /System/Library/Extensions and click Go.
    # Locate the file AppleMobileDevice.kext and drag it to the Trash.
    # Choose Go > Go to Folder.
    # Enter /Library/Receipts/ and click Go.
    # Locate the file AppleMobileDeviceSupport.pkg and drag it to the Trash. If prompted, authenticate with the admin password.
    # Choose Finder > Empty Trash and restart the computer.
    # Download and install the current version of iTunes www.apple.com/itunes/

  • ICal and Address Book no longer syncing with iPhone - HELP!

    HELP!
I am a long time Apple user and rely heavily on my iPhone to keep me where I need to be, when I need to be there. I have an iPhone 4 and it is running OS 6.0.1. Everything was working fabulously until recently. Sadly I don't know when the problems started--when I updated to OS 6 OR when I updated iTunes to version 11. Either way, my iCal and Address Book no longer sync with my iPhone. And to add insult to injury, my phone is no longer automatically detecting the AT&T microcell I have in my house. I have to reboot my phone every time I come back in the house--talk about annoying.
I am not super techy, so I am hoping someone can help me with this. I LIVE by my iPhone and as a self-employed person, I can't afford for this device to stop giving me information. I also don't want to do entries on my phone AND computer everytime something changes. I do not want to go back to the more reliable paper calendar and address book.
I have iCloud turned on, and it appears to sync my address book with my iPhone. But I seem to be a mess with iCal and my desktop. And between iCal/Adress Book on my computer and iPhone, nothing is talking.
    HELP!!!!

I think my company updated Exchange on Friday and since then I cannot sync with Mac Mail, Entourage does not seem to be working either?
    Any fix found

  • Outlook 2011 no longer syncing with iCal 5

After the upgrade to Lion, Outlook 2011 w/ sp1 no longer syncs with iCal. Sync services are on but no syncing takes place.

  • Outlook no longer syncing with iPhone and Mac??

I was formerly syncing Outlook with iPhone just fine on my Mac...now it's not working!!  I think I had to do something via iCal.  Whatever it was it's not working and need help ASAP!  (no need for iCloud and know that does not work!!!)

I have the same problem too. My iphone is not syncing with my addressbook on the mac, no matter what I try, it is very very frustrating!!

  • Another major Apple mistake - Outlook will no longer sync to iPhone 4

I have had my iPhone4 for almost a month now and it has os4.0.1 firmware. And my PC is running XP Pro with all updates as well as iTunes 9.2.1.5.
After missing several important meetings, I realized that changes made on either the iP4 or PC were NOT being synced. (And I thought it was just me forgetting to put stuff in Outlook or on the iP4.)
This has really put back my fear factor in Apple's ability to understand and support the business community properly. They had this problem back on iP3g with v2.2 firmware, but it was fixed. I began to rely on sync 100% for everything again.
Now, it's all gone down the tubes again. I've noticed the following:
    1) any changes made to Outlook on PC or iP4 are not being synced on the other
    2) many pictures on existing contacts have dissappeared on the iP4
    3) pictures added back on iP4 frequently dissappear again after a sync
    4) adding or changing contact pictures on PC are not synced to iP4 and existing picture is removed
I don't know if it's iTunes or the iPhone software. BTW, I installed os4.0.1 on my old iPhone3g and tried to sync. Guess what? It doesn't work.
However, I remember really giving the new iP4 (os4.0) a pretty good going over when I got it to make sure that things synced properly and I felt confident that nothing was broken. But since then I've updated to os4.0.1 and at least one update of iTunes since then.

Yes, I did read the title.
The sync was working between Outlook and the iPhone at one point.
The Apple supplied SW (OS and iTunes) changed, and the sync stopped working. If Outlook had changed, that probably would be where the fault lies, but because it’s the Apple supplied SW that changed and the sync stopped working, that’s the most likely cause of the problem.
    Simple troubleshooting logic.
Notice that the OP did a further testing where he/she rolled back to an older version of iTunes, and the sync works with that version. A later version of the same (Apple) SW does not.
Fair enough. But at the same time, I have the lastest itunes version and the lastest ip4 OS and I am syncing my outlook with no problems. Maybe the OP's computer downloaded the lastest version of itunes incorrectly. Granted, I am not an expect in all these hardware/software technologies. I am just saying that the problems he/she was having could lie elsewhere and not with Apple.
Yeah, it's certainly possible, but given the situation, and the testing that the OP has done, not likely.
I just want Apple’s products to work. And I really don’t understand why some people can’t seem to deal with the fact that Outlook synchronisation is crucial.
Everybody want what they purchase to work. I could see their frustration when something does not work. People should come into these forums asking for help. It does not do any good to whine or play the blaming game. Like John said, we are getting tired of people complaining and whining about their products not working. If they have a problem, post the problem and we will try to help.
And, yes, I agree, people do come on here and complain, sometimes quite rationally, sometimes not. It's better to just state the problem and ask for help. The OP sort of did that, but the title was a bit inflammatory. I'd have probably titled it "iPhone 4 will no longer sync to Outlook", and left off the editorial at the beginning.
There's a level of frustration that can creep in here, of course. When something works fine for a long time and then suddenly stops working, (and especially if you miss business calls because of that problem) - it can push people over the edge.
I hope that this synchronisation issue does get fixed. I'd love to log in to the board one day and see that people have downloaded a new update (either to iOS or iTunes) and that they can now reliably connect between Outlook and their phone.

  • Outlook 2011 no longer syncing with iCal and contacts

I have installed Yosemite recently on my Macbook Pro. I run MS Outlook 2011 for professional reasons. Until now, syncing with my Android phone worked (almost) fine, using a nice app called SyncMate. For a few days now (not sure it is linked to installing Yosemite though) new data on my outlook calendar and address book no longer appear on my phone after syncing. After checking I realized that Outlook is actually not syncing any more with iCal and Contacts, so of course the syncing with the phone cannot work. How can I resolve this ?

facing the same problem, it was syncing prior to my upgrade to Lion. have you managed to find a solution?

  • IPad will no longer sync with iPhone when using iMessages

I'm not sure what happened but my iPad no longer syncing iMessages with my iPhone. All have been signed in with Apple ID, all have the same telephone number and email address selected. I'm at loss what to do.  Any suggestions?

I am having the same issue with my ipad 3 with retina display and my iphone 5 (both iOS 8.1.2).  Text messages received on my iphone will be forwarded to my ipad, however imessages will not. Also, some contacts that i can Imessage on my iphone (blue contacts) show up as grey, red or green on my ipad and it wont allow me to imessage them anymore.
I have tired all of the apple support remedies to no avail, including a full reset of both devices. No luck yet. I hope someone can figure this out for both our sakes.

  • Calendar will no longer sync with iPhone

My calendar would sync with no problems and now it won't update the information on my iphone so I am stuck with the old information and having to manually update the calendar.
    Please help.
    Using version 6.0 of calendar
    Using version 10.7 of iTunes
    Using 6.0.1 on iPhone
    Using OS X 10.8.2
Everything says it's up to date.  When I attempt to sync, nothing changes on the calendar.
    Thank you,
    Amy

Have you run scanpst.exe? That file is in the Microsoft Office folder. That does a scan of your Outlook.pst file and can help fix problems. Can you remember what you were doing when the problem began. Many times recurring appointments with open end dates can cause problems. Another thing that Outlook/Apple do not like too well are the way you set a reminder in an appointment. If you have an appointment with a reminder that is set to zero in Outlook, it can confuse the Apple calendar. Another thing to check is in iTunes, and that is resetting the sync history.
Also, you should not have to re-enter years of data, since the iPhone by default only syncs the last 30 days worth of data. Your archive generally is just resident on the computer. Once data goes to archive, it is removed from the phone due to the time period.
Try creating a new calendar in Outlook and put a couple of dummy appointments in it. Connect the iPhone to iTunes and set iTunes to sync all calendars. See if this new calendar syncs. If it does, you can import all of your old calendar data as Lawrence states to the new calendar and make that your default calendar by deleting the old one.
See if any of these steps helps.

  • Outlook 2011 for Mac Syncing with iPhone 5

    THIS IS WHAT I HAVE:
Macbook Pro running OS X (10.8.2) - Mountain Lion
    iPhone 5 running iOS 6.0.1
    Outlook for Mac 2011 (14.2.4)
I am coming from a PC that ran the most current Outlook and iTunes.  Before I switched to my Macbook Pro I was able to input calendar items into Outlook on the PC and then plug my iPhone 5 into the PC and everything would sync accordingly.  Ever since I switched over to Mac my Outlook calendar items will not sync.
THIS IS WHAT I WOULD LIKE TO DO:
Sync my Outlook calendar and contacts between my iPhone 5 & my Macbook Pro. It sounds simple but after reading almost every post possible I have come to a conclusion that I might have to switch back to my PC for such a simple problem.
Can anyone with this same problem help me with success?
If not is there anyone that can suggest any other way that I can have everything synced up?  I have tried icloud but I don't want everything in the cloud.
    Thank you in advanced.

  • ICal no longer syncing with iPhone

My iCal has suddenly stopped syncing with my iPhone and I have tried everything to get it to work again, with no luck. I do not use iCloud and sync through iTunes.
The operating system on my computer is Mountain Lion, my iPhone is a 4S with iSO 5.1.1 and I am using iTunes 11.0.1.
Does anyone know what could be causing my syncing to suddenly stop? Everything else on my computer is syncing with my iPhone.

You can no longer sync via iTunes. That method of sync was removed (and the 1000+ post thread is arguments over things tangientally related to that).
You need to sync via other means than iTunes, then.
One option is to use iCloud. If you sign into iCloud on all your devices, and then make sure your calendars are in the "iCloud" section on your devices, they should sync.
If you don't want to use iCloud, you could use Google calendars, they operate much the same way (but may be less reliable).
Or if you use Exchange for work, you could sync that way.
Or if none of those are acceptable, you could install OS X Server and set up the calendar server on your local network and use it to sync. This is fairly straightforward "for setting up a UNIX calendar server" but it's not trivial and beyond the scope of a forum post to explain it all

  • Outlook 2007 doesn't sync with iphone 4

I run outlook 2007 on my desktop pc and had no problem syncing with my iphone 4.  Then I reformatted the computer and now outlook will not sync.  It goes through the motions but nothing happens.  I use outlook only for the calendar.

    Hey there cabgman,
It sounds like you are unable to sync your Outlook information to your iPhone after having reinstalled your OS. I would use the troubleshooting in the following article for Outlook syncing on Windows to help resolve the issue, named:
Troubleshooting Sync Services on Windows with Microsoft Outlook 2003, Outlook 2007, or Outlook 2010
    http://support.apple.com/kb/TS2776
Start with these steps, and work your way down the article as needed:
Which option are you using to store your data in Microsoft Outlook?
By default, your Outlook data is stored in Personal Folders format (PST) unless you are using an Exchange Server to access your data. If you are using Outlook with an Exchange Server, your data may be stored in an OST file if you have Cached Exchange Mode turned on. An iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch syncing via iTunes will sync with the default PST or OST file. When using an OST file, only information stored locally, or cached on your computer, will be available to sync.
Note: You may be able to sync your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch directly with your Exchange server. For more information on syncing directly with an Exchange server, contact your Exchange Administrator. There are resources for Exchange Administrators, including the iPhone Enterprise Deployment guide onwww.apple.com/support/iphone/enterprise.
    Back up your data
Refer to this Microsoft article for steps to back up the data in your PST file used by Microsoft Outlook 2003 or Microsoft Outlook 2007. This Microsoft article explains where the Microsoft Outlook 2010 data files are located.
For information about backing up the data in your OST file, contact your Exchange Administrator. Your OST file should be on the server and backed up when the server is backed up.
Before troubleshooting, it is recommended that you make a copy of your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch backup in a safe place. For more information about where to find the backup and what information it contains, refer to About backups.
Thank you for using Apple Support Communities.
    Regards,
    Sterling

  • Outlook 2003 notes not syncing with iphone

I cannot say for sure if this is a new problem as when I first purchased the iPhone 3GS 32GB (iOS 4) in June, running iTunes 9.2.0.61 on XP (all current updates applied), I got all notes from Outlook onto the iPhone. I updated some notes yesterday in Outlook, and noticed they weren't sync'd with the iPhone. This applies to both updated or new notes on Outlook. The same applies in reverse, in that any notes updated/created on the iPhone does not sync with Outlook.
Any sage advice on what's going on?

You are right, of course. There are so many threads on this subject, too many to count, and they go no where definitive. This is a symptom of a problem that is being experienced by iPhone users who use Windows & Outlook.
I am NOT a Windows user, and have been using various species of Linux for years, and am currently using Ubuntu on my desktop and notebook. I have been using Evolution, which is a linux version of Outlook. I now have setup a separate box to run XP and Outlook. I have tried using VMware running a virtual Windows XP on my Ubuntu box, which I have been using off and on for years with success. But, installing iTunes on the virtual Windows, and trying to sync causes the virtual Windows to hang - most unusual. Never got it figured out, hence, the Windows box.
Like I said before, iTunes is a cluge. And to it, they added the sync which ***** at best. Apple should re-think their strategy, and focused on iTunes as being a damned good multi-media application, which will sync with Mac/Windows/Linux. Then, they should have another application, something called "iSync" or "iFiles" which specializes in syncing up anything other than multi-media, such as contacts, calendars, notes/memos, tasks. This would be a nice tight piece of code, allowing to sync with Mac/Windows/Linux.
Wish I could've been more help.
PS. For whatever reason, notes are being sync'd across to the iPhone. I noticed this a "few" syncs ago. I don't know why it decided to sync notes, whereby, it didn't a week or more ago. It's at the point now, where I don't expect anything consistent when the sync happens. If it goes across, fine, if it doesn't maybe in a few days. Not the best approach if you are relying on this device for a profession/business!
