Outlook Integration Error

Hi experts,
The Outlook Integration addon sometimes gives me the following errors when SAP starts:
Failed to connect to SBO-COMMON or Failed to Connect to Company or Failed to Connect to Licence Server
Only a few times start in the right way.
I found the problem only on a client, in the other clients the addon run correctly.
The SAP Business One version is:
2007A SP00 PL49

Ms Outlook Integration Error after Sap B1 upgrade

Hi experts,
We are facing a issue after upgrading SAP B1 8.82 to SAP B1 9.0 with Outlook Integration (MS Outlook 2010), we try to logon to SAP B1 from Ms Outlook, we type server name, db user and db password, when why try to choose database we are getting an error "Unable to recover companies list from "Server Name" to Sap Business One", when we press logon button in the same logon window we are getting an error "'Database Name' is not a valid company database".
Has anyone faced the same issue?

The issue has been solved by updating DI API which was still on the previus version.

Outlook Integration Error when saving Email As Activity

B1 8.8 PL11
When clicking the Save E-Mail as Activity, we get the following error.
"Could not create activity in SAP Business One because: 'To generate this document, first define the numbering series in the Administration module'"
This was working, but this just started happening about a week ago.
Any idea what could be causing this?

The numbering series is defined and has been working correctly in a production system for a while now. We had to restart the computer and then we didn't have the error. This error has shown up a few times, everytime we restart the computer we are able to add the activity.
I don't see a numbering series for Activities.
This error is occuring when we add an email as an activity from the Outlook Integration.

Outlook integration error message

Hi, when we try to install the outlook integration, everything goes fine. But when we try to sign in after selecting add to CRM on demand button, we get the following error:
"Unable to establish a connection with the Siebel On Demand Server (secure-ausomxgfa.crmondemand.com)"
The normal login through the website does work.
Can someone help us?

I have come across this in the past - sometimes I have found the problem to be (if your using SSO) that the SSO URL has not been entered into the registery of my PC. Ensure the UIServer and Server keys have the following: secure-ausomxgfa.crmondemand.com - this will be on HKLM\Software\Siebel CRM OnDemand\Siebel Outlook Email Integration OnDemand.

Error while installation of Outlook Integration Add On

Problem encountered upon installation of outlook add-on
The message box shows "The Procedure point ??OCBFDbDef@@QAE@....... could not be located in dynamic link library BFFramework.dll".
I'm watching this thread . I cannot open the link for the proposed solution to my problem.

Outlook integration-addon error

Hi,
Following is the error message encountered when we try to start the outlook integration.
After configuration of outlook, when tried to start the add-on exe, following error message was displayed.
" CLR error:8007000b. The program will now terminate'' & add-on could not be attached.

Outlook integration: VB error "script out of bounds"

All,
I just tried to set up one of our users with the Outlook integration. The install was successful, but when the user selects an existing email message and clicks on "Add to Siebel" and selects a contact, for example, Outlook throws an error indicating "script out of bounds."
A little searching indicates this is a VB error. Even after closing and restarting both outlook and Siebel, the error persists. It has not occurred with any of our other users.
Has anyone experienced this before?
Any help is greatly appreciated.

Outlook Integration - we just went live a couple weeks ago..migrated from Siebel Upshot...where we also used integration without incident.
We get "Unknown error has occurred" Subscript out of range.
Support does not know the answer.
We suspect it has to do with the "auto-finding" of emails....there are a few issues with the R14 version of this app.
Any results...please advise.

"Add-on Outlook Integration: Add-on installation failed because another version is already installed. please ensure that the version number is higher than the version previously installed."

Download 'Windows Installer 3.1' from the internet and Install in your Machine.
Now proceed with Addon. Hope this should work.

Outlook integration template error

Hi,
Try to activate the outlook integration package. However once I register the module it creates new templates or register templates. However the installer is unable to create the template for management business partners.
Please advice how to solve this issue (every time if I start SAP B1) it comes with the template installation manager.

Cannot send alert from SAP by Outlook integration

Dear All,
We are on SAP8.8. When we create an Alert for a user query, we want to send the report by e mail as well.
We can receive the report by message in SAP. We have no error message in SAP to say send out failed.
But we didn't receive anything from SAP for the report.
I tried to sent out email from SAP. I click the icon then sent out e mail. It can send out for me. So the outlook integration add-on should be fine. Is there anywhere we should check to see if the e mail has been sent out?

In Meassges/Alert overview,under sent messages tab,you can see messages which is sent from your system or if you are not able to send email,Goto administration->addons->Outlook integration->Default settings...you check the check box thats it.

Jabber 9.2.1 outlook integration.

Just rolled out jabber 9.2.1 to a few users and we are noticing a few problems.
1. We are no longer able to search the outlook local address book.
On the connection status it shows connection error, address outlook, protocol MAPI, error COM0x80070002.
2. The calendar integration is not working. We have the Outlook option ticked, but nothing shows up on the calendar tab.
3. Our Helpdesk operative had a direct number and a number in a hunt group for helpdesk calls. The popup no longer works for the huntgroup calls. I have seen a few reports of this.
Im also looking at getting video working. We didnt have this setup before, but I thought I would try it. i have the MSI installed and a working webcam attached, but the desktop video connection status shows unavailable, reason unknown.

I have found that the problem with Outlook integration occured when the new client was upgraded from 9.1
If I uninstall the old client first and then delete the 'c:\documents and settings\userid\application data\Ciso' folder, the new install works OK.

Msa 50sp6: outlook integration not possible

while installing msa50sp6 with outlook integration,
I do not get any buttons/tabs into my outlloók 2002.
No errors while installing. (outlook is closed while installing).
Is it possible to install the outlook sync. manual ?
Or has anybody a solution why this is so ?

Outlook Integration - Case of the missing snapshots

Hey all,
Here's the issue:
SBO 2007A PL 35
The snapshots are being created on the server, and they showing on the SBO server (say
SBOHOST).
I created the snapshots for EN(GB), EN(US), and NL.
For reference, the actual database is on a dedicated SQL server (
SQL_SERVER)
All files are there, and permissions are set so that they can be written.
I went onto the terminal server (
TERMINAL) that connects through to the main server database (
SQLSERVER) and to the SAP files B1_SHR on
SBOHOST
The templates were missing in the "Define Snapshot Templates" under EN(GB), EN(US), and NL.
I checked the paths, and they are fine so there are no permission issues.
I then installed, from TERMINAL, the Czech snapshots. They work. I can see them under the "Define Snapshot Templates" on TERMINAL
...but not on SBOHOST where I can see the others...
They are sitting right beside each other in the
SBOHOST\B1_SHR\Addon\Microsoft Outlook Integration\Templates\[DATABASE]\Default
I can see CS (Czech), NL (Dutch), EN (Enlish) folders.
I had a look in the [@BOOSTP] and found if I changed the "host name", in a test database of course, from TERMINAL to SBOHOST they appeared on the respective computers snapshot list under the respective language. Hopefully I haven't lost you.
Any help with this would be good, as so far all the notes on this tell me to re-create the snapshots, which hasn't helped so far.

I too am having an issue with creating the default snapshots in B1 2007A PL35 (and BTW PL37)....
I can successfully create the snapshot on the first B1 client on my network, for every machine thereafter I get the following error when creating templates for English (US).... This message is a pain, when you have many machines and users ask why the create snapshot templates window appears each time they log on.
This is the Error Message:
Failed to create template 'Executive customer (by Business Partner)'
My observations regarding the solution are identical but one of the proposed solutions won't work, at least not as is...
As you said It looks like it cannot create the entries in the @BOOSTP because of the unique constraint on Index [@BOOSTPBOOSTPI1] which does not include the new field.
[U_Host] ASC cannot be added to the index because it is of type nvarchar(max), see error below:
*Column 'U_Host' in table 'dbo.@BOOSTP' is of a type that is invalid for use as a key column in an index.*
The only way to make this work is to change U_HOST it to a nvarchar(100) and then you would be allowed to add the U_Host to the index. SAP probably needs to make this decidion, I doubt they would support this work around, so temporarily disabling the index appears to be is the way to go....
Why isn't SAP testing well before release? This seems like something that should have been caught.

Outlook Integration in Windows 64bit

I am currently running my demo laptop on Windows Server 2008 64 bit. I have all my applications including Outlook running fine , however I am unable to run SBO Outlook Integration, it installs hoever the system log Message comes up with an error message Add-On 90000001 failed with exception; Event Type 65
I have tried setting the exe to be compatible with Windows XP when it isnstalls i.e. runs as 32bit, hoever from this app it does not work or it works for 10minutes and then fails.
does anyone have any advice on how to get this working again?

Easy fix.
Go into Add Remove programs and remove the addon.
Go to the addon exe and right click properties, select make compatible with Windows XP SP2.
reinstall Addon in SBO
Problem solved.

Outlook Integration w/o the client

I have a client that run their B1 clients on a terminal server but they'd like to run Outlook Integration locally on their PCs where they use Outlook. I installed the OI toolbar on one of their PCs but when I try to login it gives an error saying that it can't find the database list. When I install the B1 client locally the OI toolbar connects fine. We're looking to see if we can get the OI toolbar working without having to install the client on all the PCs. Does anyone know if it's possible to do that?

Sorry, I just reread my post and I think that I didn't make clear that we're using the Outlook Integration Stand Alone client. I was under the impression that the purpose of the standalone client was that it didn't require the B1 fat client to be installed with it. I see a couple of official post here stating just that. I also see a couple of other posts from people in the same situation that I'm in now, same error, but I don't see any solutions in those threads...
