Outlook Integration Fields not sychronized
Hi,
For the fields "State/Province" and "ZIP/Postal Code" do not appear in SAP B1 business partner master data "bill to" fields.
Anyway to synchronize these 2 fields?

Yes,It is possible to display the field after you add the particular field in required Address format(Administartion->Setup->Business partner->Address format)...
for ex:
If you need to add 'Zip code' in 'European Standard Address',
then goto Administartion->Setup->Business partner->Address format and find the 'European Standard Address' and right click on the row to 'Add New row',In the new row just drag the 'Zip Code' (field on right side) to that row and now update it.
Then you have to assign this 'European Standard Address' to the countries(Administartion->Setup->Business partner->Countries) to which you would like to add this format and update it
Now while adding the address of BP,The 'Zip code' will appear to that BP when you select the country to which the 'European Standard Address' assigned.

AddOn Outlook Integration do not run

I'm use SAP BusibessOne 2005 A SP01 PL 18, and i have installed the Outlook Integration add-On SP01 PL60 on my Windows XP Pro SP2 computer.
The installer run correctly and i have the menu of Outlook Integration in SAP BusinessOne.
But, when i try to connect with the menu <i><b>SAP BusinessOne>Connexion</b></i> in Microsoft Outlook 2003, a SAP BusinessOne message box display : <i>the integration of Microsoft Outlook did not start because the users tables are not up to date....</i>

I started again the installation of the software :
First, I install the <b>Server Installer</b> from SBO2005A-SP01-PL11 on my server: OK
Second, i register and install the <b><i>Outlook Integration add-on</i></b> SBO2005A-SP01-PL60 on my Client PC : OK
So, the add-on OI run correctly : i have edit the company settings and define snapshot templates in OI setting.
But, when i try to connect vis Microsoft Outlook 2003, i hahe always the message :<b><i> The outlook integration do not start because the users tables are not updated.</i></b>

Outlook Integration menu not visible in Add-ons menu
Hi,
Outlook Integration doesn't work on one workstation after a recent upgrade to 8.81 PL05.
It's Windows 7 32-bit with Outlook 2010.
Add-on seems to be successfuly installed and it appears to be connected in Add-on Manager, however the Outlook Integration menu (Default Settings, Company Settings, Define Snapshot Templates) is not visible in SAP. User has full authorisation and the menu doesn't appear in Form Settings to make it visible.
After a while there is a message box saying that Outlook Integration has disconnected and it asks to reconnect Add-on, continue without the Add-on or log off company.
I tried to uninstall and re-install the add-on, but it made no difference.
Any suggestions?

I uninstalled and re-installed SAP Client on that workstation and Outlook Integration was successfully installed.

Outlook Sync issue - Calendar Note Field not synci...

I recently bough a 6233.
Very happy with the phone BUT for one issue.
I work from two offices and planned to use the phone to carry meeting & appointment data between two computers (syncing both).
When I sync with outlook the large notes field at the bottom of each calendar item is not synchronised. This imho is a vital field.
Searching this forum, I have noticed quite a few others with the same problem. Has this been fixed/rectified?
Using:
Nokia PC Suite 6.82.22.0
Outlook 2003 (all the latest updates)

I am just wondering if anything has changed in the year or so since the last posting?
I have recently bought an E61i and I am seeing similar behaviour when I try synchronising with Outlook 2003. I have the latest PC suite installed.
To be more precise:
I can create a notes entry in the calendar item on my PC. It WILL sync to the E61i. But if I edit that field on the E61, it WILL NOT sync back to the PC.
Interestingly though, I can create a fresh calendar entry, put something in the description field and that will sync to the PC. I can edit that on the PC and it will sync back to the E61i. But if I then change it on the E61i it WILL NOT sync back to the PC.
Note that I can change other calendar attributes (eg the meeting time) and that always syncs correctly. It's just the notes that behave this way.
I get the same same behaviour for contacts. I can change someone's phone number on the PC or E61i and it will sync to the other. But changes to the notes field only sync from the PC to the E61i.
Lastly, the story is the same for Outlook notes.
My next step would be a remove/re-install in case something happened. (I used to be using Microsoft ActiveSync for my WM5 device - with the E61i replaced - so maybe there's something left over from that). But before I did that, I wanted to check to see if what I am seeing is expected (ie consistent with others).

while installing msa50sp6 with outlook integration,
I do not get any buttons/tabs into my outlloók 2002.
No errors while installing. (outlook is closed while installing).
Is it possible to install the outlook sync. manual ?
Or has anybody a solution why this is so ?

Outlook integration-Layout files not found
Hi Experts,
I have installed Addon-outlook intgration successfuly and when i start B1 Create default templates popup comes and gives error like
BO2034: Layout files not found in folder 'C:\Program Files\SAP\SAP Business One Server\B1_SHR\AddOn\Microsoft Outlook Integration\Templates' i also check path but still gives above error.

There is a separate part of Outlook Integration that needs to be installed on the server. This includes the templates which get copied to a folder within the B1_SHR. On your SBO DVD or on the latest patch download you are using you should find a folder called Outlook Integration Server in the Packages folder. Run the Setup.exe on the server where the SBO server components are installed and this should correct your problem.

We are having an error in the ESS qualty ..in the Reimbursement and claims screen. When we click on this link we are getting a warning message "Field outlook cahracetrs have not been maintined".Only default reimbursement types LTA and Medical allowance are appearing in the drop down for reimbursement type. All the paroll allowance groupings and claims configuration have been done. Please let us know the possible cause for the error.
Note: The problem persists in Quality but working fine in SandboxAny inputs??

Outlook Integration Not working

we are using SAP 8.81 PL5. we upgraded to 8.81 from 8.8. Outlook integration was working fine in the earlier version. But after upgrade whlile connecting it displays message as higher version of outlook is already installed.
I tried uninstalling and reinstalling add-on but it is not working.
Any suggestion for the same since it is affecting usage of users.

Go to C:\Program Files\SAP\SAP Business One
And here you find AddOnsLocalRegistration.sbo and AddOnsInstall.sbo
Copy these two files and store it to other drive for safety of other addons running if any.
Now Open AddOnsLocalRegistration.sbo with Notepad and delete the contents in that and then save it.
Then login in sap and then try to run addons through Addon Manager..........

Outlook Integration - Not able to add a BP
Hi All,
when I try to add a new contact in a new BP through Outlook Integration, SAPBO gives this error message:
Errore # -5002 DI API : "Accounts ... is missing OCRD.DebPayAcct"
In "G/L Account Determination" table all accounts are ok, so I don't understand how I can resolve this error.
The strange thing is that Outlook Integration worked well until some time ago and we didn't update nothing!!!

MS Outlook Integration with SAP

I have few questions on outlook integration ( CRM 4.0) which is as follows.
1) Can we integrate Email by implementing Outlook integration in CRM 4.0? I heard that we can only integrate activities and tasks with SAP and MS outlook
2) When we create contact information in the account screen in CRM PCUI under relationship tab, the attributes like email id, mobile number, fax number, designation and department gets stores in relationship pop up in CRM GUI. Can I transfer these data (maintained in relationship pop-up in GUI) to MS outlook? I heard it has to be maintained in contact master data and not in relationship pop-up.
3) When a Contact Person is exchanged from CRM to Groupware having the relationship Is Contact Person For to an Organization in CRM, the name of the Company is displayed in Outlook Contact data. Also there is an option to display the address of the organization in the contact persons communication fields. If the name of the Organization is changed or address data or communication fields are changed at a later point in time in CRM the updated name or address of the Company is not reflected in groupware contact for this Contact person. Is this True?
4) If a Meeting request is created in Groupware with a Contact Person as invitee, his organization is NOT determined and added to the Business Activity.
E.g. it is NOT possible to determine the account of the contact person and add this account as the Activity Partner in the Business Activity. Is this True?

1) Unread eMails are shown in the inbox. In standard nothing more, but you can read the inbox entries and from there on build your own functionality to create an activity from there (pretty difficult). Other than that, only activities and tasks are integrated.
2) It can be done. A customer of mine did it together with SAP, but they both together spend some 100 days into this solution - obviously not a standard solution.
3) Yes, it is not updated as the shown adress is only inherited and does not belong to the CP. The CP is only updated if its own CRM data is changed.
4) This is not a standard functionality of the groupware integration. However you could customize a reverse partner determination from contact person to its BP and put that into the business partner. I would try and trigger it OnSave, otherwise you need to go into the BAPI_Order_Save and program it yourself.
