  • MS Outlook Integration with CRM & Single Sign-On for Mobile\Blackberry

    Hi,
Weu2019re looking at implementing CRM and have some questions on whether SSO (Single Sign-On) is a requirement for integrating Outlook with CRM for access via Mobile\Blackberry devices or not. I've the following questions:
    - For integrating Outlook and Active Directory with CRM is SSO implementation a MUST?
    - Also, is it possible to integrate Outlook without Active Directory integration with SAP esp. CRM?
    Mandeep Virk

We got this figured out a couple of months earlier. It's nto a requirement to have SSO enabled for MS Outlook integration w/ CRM for Mobile\Blackberry use.

  • Outlook Integration add-on, the Snapshot template is missing

    hi,
i have a query , when we start Outlook Integration add-on SAP B1, one window will a to generate snapshot template, but in the source folder there is no default template to generate snapshot templates in the destination folder. how to get those sanpshot  default templates from SAP portal or is there any other process to generate those snapshot template.
    sandip

    hi atul,
well even i too face the same problem, but it is solved.
    1. when you install SAP b1 outlook addon, it is not going to create the folder with the default templates, for that you have to go the the addon folder where you have all SAP B1 addons, where you have all outlook integration addon,XL reporter addon,CopyExpress addon and even some other addons, in the same folder you will see ServerInstaller folder, you install that directly from the folder itself, it will create the require templates at the specific location.
    2. then from SAP B1 start you outlook addon and when you get the window of create template, just press the create button, this time it will create it sucessfully.
now the snapshot template will be available in your system.
i checked this it is working well in my system, follow the above process, you can able to solve your problem. if not revert me back.

  • Outlook Integration Installation files

    Hi,
Where can I find the Outlook Integration add-on files for B1 2004A?
I have the following installation files:
    Setup_OI.exe
    Outlook_Integration.ard
But I also  need the support tools (for the snapshots) and I can't find them! Cause during the installation, of the files refered above, the system is unable to find the templates folder!
Also on the today's webinar.. if I'm correct, the refered setup installation file was the Setup_OE.exe!!!
    Tips??
    Tkx

    Vitor,
You can locate the Outlook integration from SAP as well as the Support Tools on the service.sap.com/smb portal.  You would go to SAP Business One > Installations & Updates > SAP Business One Products > Installations > SAP Business One 2004 > SAP Business One 2004A (B or C) > Installation > then choose the database that you are using and then download the title "CD SMB: SAP Business One Add-ON 2004 SP2".
If you click on the "Info" link you will see the detail of what is in this file such as the Outlook integration, Support Tools etc.
    Hope this helps,
    Eddy

  • Cannot send alert from SAP by Outlook integration

    Dear All,
We are on SAP8.8. When we create an Alert for a user query, we want to send the report by e mail as well.
We can receive the report by message in SAP. We have no error message in SAP to say send out failed.
But we didn't receive anything from SAP for the report.
I tried to sent out email from SAP. I click the icon then sent out e mail. It can send out for me. So the outlook integration add-on should be fine. Is there anywhere we should check to see if the e mail has been sent out?
    Thanks in advance.
    Regards,
    Yuka

    hi,
In Meassges/Alert overview, under sent messages tab,you can see messages which is sent from your system or if you are not able to send email,Goto administration->addons->Outlook integration->Default settings...you check the check box thats it.

  • Jabber 9.2.1 outlook integration.

    Hi,
Just rolled out jabber 9.2.1 to a few users and we are noticing a few problems.
    1. We are no longer able to search the outlook local address book.
On the connection status it shows connection error, address outlook, protocol MAPI, error COM0x80070002.
    2. The calendar integration is not working. We have the Outlook option ticked, but nothing shows up on the calendar tab.
    3. Our Helpdesk operative had a direct number and a number in a hunt group for helpdesk calls. The popup no longer works for the huntgroup calls. I have seen a few reports of this.
Im also looking at getting video working. We didnt have this setup before, but I thought I would try it. i have the MSI installed and a working webcam attached, but the desktop video connection status shows unavailable, reason unknown.
Other than that its gone well
    Steve.

    ****Solved****
I have found that the problem with Outlook integration occured when the new client was upgraded from 9.1
If I uninstall the old client first and then delete the 'c:\documents and settings\userid\application data\Ciso' folder, the new install works OK.

  • MS Outlook Integration with SAP

    Hi,
I have few questions on outlook integration ( CRM 4.0) which is as follows.
    1) Can we integrate Email by implementing Outlook integration in CRM 4.0? I heard that we can only integrate activities and tasks with SAP and MS outlook
    2) When we create contact information in the account screen in CRM PCUI under relationship tab, the attributes like email id, mobile number, fax number, designation and department gets stores in relationship pop up in CRM GUI. Can I transfer these data (maintained in relationship pop-up in GUI) to MS outlook? I heard it has to be maintained in contact master data and not in relationship pop-up.
    3) When a Contact Person is exchanged from CRM to Groupware having the relationship “Is Contact Person For” to an Organization in CRM, the name of the Company is displayed in Outlook Contact data. Also there is an option to display the address of the organization in the contact person’s communication fields. If the name of the Organization is changed or address data or communication fields are changed at a later point in time in CRM the updated name or address of the Company is not reflected in groupware contact for this Contact person. Is this True?
    4) If a Meeting request is created in Groupware with a Contact Person as invitee, his organization is NOT determined and added to the Business Activity.
E.g. it is NOT possible to determine the account of the contact person and add this account as the Activity Partner in the Business Activity. Is this True?
    Points will be rewarded****************

    Hi
    1) Unread eMails are shown in the inbox. In standard nothing more, but you can read the inbox entries and from there on build your own functionality to create an activity from there (pretty difficult). Other than that, only activities and tasks are integrated.
    2) It can be done. A customer of mine did it together with SAP, but they both together spend some 100 days into this solution - obviously not a standard solution.
    3) Yes, it is not updated as the shown adress is only inherited and does not belong to the CP. The CP is only updated if its own CRM data is changed.
    4) This is not a standard functionality of the groupware integration. However you could customize a reverse partner determination from contact person to its BP and put that into the business partner. I would try and trigger it OnSave, otherwise you need to go into the BAPI_Order_Save and program it yourself.
    Hope this helps,
    Kai

  • Oracle CRM On Demand Outlook Integration - Add-in shows inactive

I have followed the steps given in the Oracle CRM On Demand->MySetup.
After installing the OEI, the dll file is registered.
In MS outlook->Tools->Trust Center->Add-ins. The Siebel Outlook Integration Add-ins is shown in the "Inactive Application Add-ins".
How can this be enabled/Active so that Oracle CRM On Demand application is integrated with Microsoft Outlook?
    kindly advice.

Finally found a solution for this problem:
In MS Outlook 2007, navigate to Tools->Trust Center->Macro Security-> Select option "Warnings for all macros".
Restart MS Outlook and the Oracle CRM email Integration buttons will appear..
    Hope this helps..
