Outlook integration with CCME

Hi all,
I've been getting the questions tons of times about whether or not there is a tool that would allow you to integrate Outlook with Callmanager Express. Something like dialing a number and getting their calendar information on screen or being able to send call to voice mail based upon status in outlook ?
I've tried the simple TSP stuff to make dialing using outlook work. But that even just gives me an error.
Do anyone know of such a product for callmanager Express.
Do anyone have similar problems with the TSP for CCME ?
Best Regards
Lasse

Oh this is quite an old post but exactly suit my situation.
But the above link is dead.
Can CCME integrate with outlook calender ?
What I want to do is if someone call to an extension, that'll lookup outlook calendar and reply upon the status.
Is there any application or function that can be performed at communication manager express ?
Please guide me if it is possible.
best wishes

As Robert has stated there is plenty of information if you would have done a search first or looked at the CRM wiki.

Due to this thread, being way too vague and a duplicate question, I'm now locking it.

  • MS Outlook Integration with SAP

    Hi,
I have few questions on outlook integration ( CRM 4.0) which is as follows.
    1) Can we integrate Email by implementing Outlook integration in CRM 4.0? I heard that we can only integrate activities and tasks with SAP and MS outlook
    2) When we create contact information in the account screen in CRM PCUI under relationship tab, the attributes like email id, mobile number, fax number, designation and department gets stores in relationship pop up in CRM GUI. Can I transfer these data (maintained in relationship pop-up in GUI) to MS outlook? I heard it has to be maintained in contact master data and not in relationship pop-up.
    3) When a Contact Person is exchanged from CRM to Groupware having the relationship “Is Contact Person For” to an Organization in CRM, the name of the Company is displayed in Outlook Contact data. Also there is an option to display the address of the organization in the contact person’s communication fields. If the name of the Organization is changed or address data or communication fields are changed at a later point in time in CRM the updated name or address of the Company is not reflected in groupware contact for this Contact person. Is this True?
    4) If a Meeting request is created in Groupware with a Contact Person as invitee, his organization is NOT determined and added to the Business Activity.
E.g. it is NOT possible to determine the account of the contact person and add this account as the Activity Partner in the Business Activity. Is this True?
    Points will be rewarded****************

    Hi
    1) Unread eMails are shown in the inbox. In standard nothing more, but you can read the inbox entries and from there on build your own functionality to create an activity from there (pretty difficult). Other than that, only activities and tasks are integrated.
    2) It can be done. A customer of mine did it together with SAP, but they both together spend some 100 days into this solution - obviously not a standard solution.
    3) Yes, it is not updated as the shown adress is only inherited and does not belong to the CP. The CP is only updated if its own CRM data is changed.
    4) This is not a standard functionality of the groupware integration. However you could customize a reverse partner determination from contact person to its BP and put that into the business partner. I would try and trigger it OnSave, otherwise you need to go into the BAPI_Order_Save and program it yourself.
    Hope this helps,
    Kai

  • MS Outlook Integration with CRM & Single Sign-On for Mobile\Blackberry

    Hi,
Weu2019re looking at implementing CRM and have some questions on whether SSO (Single Sign-On) is a requirement for integrating Outlook with CRM for access via Mobile\Blackberry devices or not. I've the following questions:
    - For integrating Outlook and Active Directory with CRM is SSO implementation a MUST?
    - Also, is it possible to integrate Outlook without Active Directory integration with SAP esp. CRM?
    Mandeep Virk

We got this figured out a couple of months earlier. It's nto a requirement to have SSO enabled for MS Outlook integration w/ CRM for Mobile\Blackberry use.

    1. From the top-level navigation, choose System Administration  System Configuration  Collaboration  Groupware Transports  Mail Transport.

System alias name:Alias that you defined for the groupware server in the system configuration. For more information, see the section on SAP Systems in the Connectivity Guide.(Exchange)
    3. Choose Apply.
    4. Choose OK.

  • MS Outlook integration with SAP CE

    Hi
We have a requirement to be able to show the MS Outlook emails from SAP CE 7.2.
Is there a standard guide to configure this?
My understanding is that this integration is not possible in CE 7.2 as Collaboration is more of NW04s feature.
Also, could anyone elaborate the scope of the tab for SAPOfficeMails in the UWL tasklist of SAP 7.2 .
My belief is that it's only meant to show mails for the Business workflow(ABAP workflows), would be glad to know if someone tells me I AM WRONG
We have a Use Case to use the full blown functionality(new features like Notification,Event Triggers) of CE 7.2 but this is another requirement which I am struggling to deal with.
Help on this regard would be appreciated.
    Regards
    Navneet
Edited by: Navneet Giria on Jul 16, 2010 11:30 AM

    Hi Navneet,
if those features are supported in the NW04s version of the UWL they should also work in the CE 7.2 UWL.

Can anyone help me out with the tasks involved in integrating microsoft outlook with SAP?
Basically we need event based triggers from SAP to Outlook mail

    Hi,
Create a customer Workflow that will be triggered by the events motioned above and that will send an email to a user list...
This is very simple to do...
But, The most difficult is to have the user list that should receive the email for different events....
The population should differ for every event...

  • Outlook integration with Multiple Companies/Databases

We have 3 separate companies each in their own database.  I know that outlook can sync with each of them individually, but does anyone have a solution to allow outlook to sync with every database without logging on to each database individually?
Thanks in advance for your suggestions,
    Tom Sylak

    Tom Sylak,
I don't think your desired target would be feasible.  You know, each database has different set of data.  How could OI differentiate them if you got concurrent access?
    Thanks,

  • MS-outlook integration with WebDynpro

    Gurus,
Is there any way to integrate MS-Outlook with WebDynpro.
Meaning, if an E-Mail Id '[email protected]' is configured to receive mails from outer world.
Now, whenever a new mail arrives to [email protected], WebDynpro is informed immediately about this.
Also, from WebDynpro some API which could help retrieve the mail contents i.e. From, Subject, Body etc
Any help would be highly appreciated
    Regards,
    Arvind Kugasia

    Arvind,
<i>Now, whenever a new mail arrives to [email protected], WebDynpro is informed <b>immediately</b> about this.</i>
This (push) is not possible. WD application may only check for new mail on start or by user request, i.e. poll for data.
<i>Also, from WebDynpro some API which could help retrieve the mail contents i.e. From, Subject, Body etc</i>
Try to use JavaMail with POP3/IMAP protocols or in case of MS Exchange access inbox via WebDAV.

  • Outlook integration with EP 6.0 SP9

    Hi
I am trying to integrate Outlook with EP 6.0 Sp9. I saw several postings and bit confused with many solutions. We are using exchange 2003 with outlook 2000 and some users with outlook 2003. We also have web access to our exchange server.  Is there any document or step by step procedure to do this with out coding?
    Thank You
    Raghu

    Hi Raghu,
First of all in the webdynpro, create a project and then create an application. inside the application open the view.In the view you can find layout. In the layout create a value attribute in the context with name say value. Now create a ui elemnt  iframe and in its properties, map this value attribute to the property called Source.
Now in the implementation give the url as i have mentioned
wdContext.currentContextElement().setSource( "http://....path.html");(ur path of the html file) in the do init() method of the implementation.
Hope this clears ur doubt. Any further problem do let me know
    Regards,
    Uma.
