Outlook/iPhone Multiple calendar sync

Hi
I have a work calendar in Outlook, driven from Exchange and a second personal calendar containing things that don't apply to work (birthdays, social events and so on). While both calendars appear in Outlook, I can't get the personal calendar to sync with the iPhone at all. In iTunes, the Exchange calendar appears but not the personal calendar.
How do I sync with the iPhone (its my first iPhone - a 3GS so I think I'm running the latest OS etc) so I get both calendars on view?

I have both a .mac account and an outlook account. My .mac acct is used for my personal entries and syncs with my iphone as well as my mac computers at home. My outlook calendar syncs my work items from my pc at work to my iphone. My problem is everything syncs to my iphone, but outlook won't sync to my .mac and .mac won't sync to outlook. This causes me to have multiple entries on my phone because I will enter something on my .mac calendar, but, because it doesn't show up on outlook, I then add it to my outlook calendar and then i have the same entry entered twice on my iphone. What a pain in the butt. Is there an end run around this?

IPhone 3Gs calendar sync

Having a problem with my phone that has the Apple tech asking me to "restart" my phone as new. He warns I will lose any non-backed up information (contacts, pictures, calendars etc.). I have synced with iTunes and have stored my contacts and pictures on my Windows pc.
Question is my calendar. I use only the calendar on the iPhone and don't sync with any other application (no Outlook, Google). Has iTunes saved my calendar info? When I sync after restarting my phone, will my calendar be restored? If not what steps should I take prior to restarting?

Can someone please help me?!?! I tired deleting my calendars once again off my iPhone and re-synce with my Mac and now none of the calendars from my mac will sync to my phone.

IPhone/MobileMe calendars sync mess

I have the same calendar that is supposed to sync my two computers and iPhone with MobileMe calendar. What happens is that when I make changes to the calendar on my iPhone it does not affect MobileMe. How do I make iPhone calendar sync with MobileMe? Thanks.

On the iPhone got to:
Setting-> Mail, Contacts, Calendars->Under Accounts choose your MobileMe account.
Make sure the slider for Syncing Calendars is switched on.
If it is then it's the settings on the computer(s). Make sure you are logged into the MobileMe "Dashboard". Windows (under Control Panel). Mac would be System Preferences and MobileMe (make sure to check the Calendar sync).

IPad Air 2/iPhone 6 Calendar Sync

Hello all,
I'm hoping someone can help; I have an iPad Air 2 and iPhone 6. My calendars don't seem to sync both ways. When I add events on my iPad, I can see them on my phone plus events I've added using my phone . However, on my iPad i only see events that I added using the calendar app on my iPad.
I'm sure it's a setting someplace but I haven't figured it out yet. Any ideas?

IPhone Multiple Calendars

Can anyone tell me if Apple is working on fixing the problem with multiple calendars. Specifically if you have multiple calendars when syncd to the iphone they all show up on the same calendar with no discerning color or label to tell them apart. Also when adding an entry FROM iphone it will put this in only one designated calendar back on your computer. I am confused didn't Apple create both the iCal and iPhone? Seems like they should be able to work seamlessly.

No one here knows what Apple is working on but if someone here is privileged to such information they aren't allowed to say. The iPhone must work with Windows applications in this regard as well as with iCal.

Problems with iPhone Entourage calendar sync

My iPhone and Entourage have been syncing fine, but recently every time I sync them, the iPhone calendar is wiped clean - no events, even thought they're all still in Entourage. Occasionally, if I reset sync history in iSync and turn off and then turn on sync settings in Entourage, it works. But I need to work out how to make it work every time. Any tips? PS contacts sync fine.

Do you know if your solution will also work to eliminate duplicate Entourage calendars in Itunes and on the Iphone? Every time a change is made in Entourage Preferences Sync Services, a new Entourage calendar is added in Itunes, Ical and, consequently, on the Iphone, after a sync is performed. All but one of the Entourage calendars is empty and serve no purpose just being listed. I initially tried deleting the calendars in ICal and ended up wiping my Entourage calendar clean. Fortunately, I'm transitioning from a Palm T/X and have all my data up to date there, so I was able to restore my Entourage calendar. I only have 1 Entourage calendar showing in Entourage, but now have 4 Entourage calendars showing up in Ical, Itunes and on my phone. I'd LOVE to get rid of the empty ones!

Help. iPhone 5, calendar sync issues using Outlook. Doesn't work. Does any kind soul have a solution

At my wits end. iPhone 5, OS 7.1.1, using Outlook as mail, contacts and calendar but unable to find a solution to sync everything. I have my own domain and use a small ISP. It's not an Exchange server account. I've trawled countless forums but to no avail. Can anyone help? Steve.

Mavericks doesn't sync contacts or calendar via iTunes anymore. Apple removed 'sync services' so Outlook doesn't have the sync engine to move data between iOS & the Mac. It will still work on iTunes 11 on earlier OS X's.
On 10.9 you can either use iCloud, setup your own contacts & calendar server (OS X server, Biakal, Owncloud & many others) or you can find another online service to use to sync data, like Google apps.

Iphone 3G - Calendar sync issue via Microsoft Exchange

I have my iphone sync fine with mail and contacts via Microsoft Exchange with my work PC outlook, but can not get the calendar to sync. I upgraded to Microsoft 2007 and it sync once (possibly after accepting a meeting invite), but then no updates. I have turned calendars off and on and lost all entries. I do get meeting invites though, but they too disappear.
Any ideas?

Onicabbit has nailed this one. It has to do with appointments not having an end or start date or having a length of 0 minutes. Track those in outlook (use the category view and make sure you have no filter on which could obscure a few nasty ones), fix the dates and duration (open the meeting or event and add or change one of the dates) and the sync should work.

Outlook & iPhone 3GS: calendar date change issue.

I am using Outlook 2007 & iPhone 3GS - both fully updated.
When I set up a recurring full day event (such as a birthday) in Outlook and then sync with iPhone the dates get changed and moved by a day or two (ahead of time). This does not happen with regular appointments that are only set up for an hour or so. It seems to be only with full day events? The change is also made in Outlook - like the iPhoen takes precedence.
Can someone help please? This is a real pain in the ***.

can you confirm that the "software release" for your OS is 10.3.1.1565 ?
I did this to try :
create a calendar event on my Passport, set for sunday 8th, and save it, and close the calendar app
open the calendar app, go to that even and edit it.
I can click on the "All Day" line, right under the participants list, this opens a new page
In that page, I have:
at the top the date
followed by the 7 days of the week
right underneath a line with two dropdown menus : Event Starts / Event Ends
and then a line with the Timezone, and the toggle "All day" that is set to ON
and finally a dropdown menu for repetition.
I can tap on the "Event Starts" dropdown menu, and it opens and I can choose another date.
Do you confirm that this is what you are trying to do?

Outlook and iCloud Calendar Syncing

My workplace uses an outlook exchange based email and calendar service, and i have to use this to manage my meetings and whatnot. Is there some way I can sync this with my icloud calendar in order to share it with other icloud users?

Are there any third party solutions to this?
I just want to be able to see the tasks that I have in my Exchange account sync with Iphone (which is fine), but then also sync with iCloud.com (which I cant do - iCloud cannot see any Exchange related data I think).
Any work arounds?

Multiple Calendar Sync - Nokia N97

Hi all,
I have two calendars in my MS Office Outlook 2003 and I only want to sync one of them to my phone (the personal one).
Is there any way to do this in PC Suite or is there another piece of software I need to be using?

There's a free app / iTune plugin that makes your N97 appear as a playlist in Itunes but you can't (or couldn't) then create separate playlists for use on the phone.
I've found the best way for me is to do the following:
Create your playlist in Itunes
Create the PLaylist in Ovi Music
Darg and drop the files from itunes to Ovi
Sync the Ovi Playlist with your N97
Bit painful but it works

It appears multiple calendar syncing was an afterthought

Other than the fact that the colors of calendars are incorrect when synced via a cable to your mac there exists another problem that is inherent to everyone, even if you use MobileMe, in that once you create an event in a calendar on your iPhone you can't change what calendar that event goes in. It's a one shot deal. You could delete the event and create it again in the right calendar but you can't change the where it goes after you hit the save button.
Not a huge deal but another quirk in the system that hopefully Apple will work out. Just be careful when you create events to put them in the right calendar cause there's no turning back.

Error 29 indicates a possible hardware issue with your device. If you have tried all the basic troubleshooting steps including restoring your phone as a new device (not from backup) and you're still having problems, then you'll need to bring your phone into Apple.
If a problem is found, your device will be replaced. If you're within the warranty period, it will be replaced free of charge. If not, regardless of the cause of the probelm, you're out of warranty and the replacement fee will be $149.

Outlook Iphone Google Contacts Sync

I would like to sync my contacts to Outlook the same way I currently use Nuevasync. I am happy to try another service to get this going. Currently nuevasync sync's my google, iphone and outlook calender.. Looking at it though I can only push sync my iPhone and Google contacts... the current system will not sync with my local Outlook.
I am trialing the Apple .ME service but have no need for the online storage space or other features.. Ideas anyone?

Would using google apps's to sync between outlook and google then use nuevasync to sych to Google work?

How can I get Outlook for Mac Calendar synced to Google Calendar?

The Mac calendar produces a view of the Outlook calendar and good syncing. But I cannot find a way of syncing this view with Google calendar. I can get a separate view in Mac Callendar of mt Google calendar adn again good syncing. But I cannot get the Outlook view on Mac calendar across to the google view. What am I missing here?

Dear Klaus, Many thanks for your response. However as far as I can see the Outlook in this thread is always on a Windows PC. My Outlook is on the Mac.
I can sync to Mac Calendar V6 with Outlook 2011 for Mac and with Google calendar. But the Google sync and the Outlook sync are in diferent accounts although both visible on the Mac Calendar at the same time. However I cannot find a way of using the Mac Calendar to bidge across from the "On my Mac" account (which is synced with the Outlook for Mac) to the Google account.
