Outlook OWA keeps making me login over and over....

I just purchased a new Macbook Air over the weekend that should be updated with all the latest everything. When I log into my company's Outlook OWA site, the interface is flakey on my Mac generally making me log in over and over and over again. I can barely get anything done and it is making it extremely difficult to work within. I am new to Macs, so I'm hoping there is just some setting somewhere I can take a look at. The OWA site is stable from my Windows laptop. My company uses Outlook 2010, and I am using Safari web browser from my MacBook Air. Any ideas? Thanks.

Is no one having or had this issue? I have tried all login options at the Outlook OWA screen with private computer, public computer, light version, regular version, all options have me loging on over and over. I have also tried Firefox browser now too with similar results. When on my ipad this doesn't happen. If anyone has any insight it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Firefox nexer versions keeps making my mouse hang and keep crashing. same settings on v4 is worling great.

Ok so it started few days ago( when v 15 was new version),
1) firefox lasted at max a minute before crash saying firefox encountered unspecified error and will exit. Then the send crash report box would open.
2) When it was working; my muse kept hanging, like if you unplug it and then plug it in, no problem on other browsers with same sites but on fox it did.
Remedial steps taken:
1) I disabled all addons and extensions no dice.
2) re installed it using v 15 then 16 beta then 16 today no dice
3) Re installed windows and installed Firefox works fine but when i import my stuff from backup even without addons and extensions (using mozbackup) it starts the problems again. repeated step 2 but still zip.
I uninstall it and install version 4. import ALL settings even plugins extensions addons everything and it is working like a charm.
why on earth does newer versions have a problem with it.? they are supposed to be more resistant to crashes.

Turns out it was a problem with "general setting".
i installed v 16.0.1 and then restored from previous profile things one by one.
and at last when i imported general settings it caused problems.
so i left that out and now it is working awesome.
i had moved the positions of icons in toolbars and probably thats why when newer version is installed it cannot make sense of it and starts doingproblems(well thats my guess).

This can be caused by the connection settings having the default setting.
Try to select the "No Proxy" setting instead of the default "Use the system proxy settings" setting.

Laptop keeps making device connect and Device disconnect sound.

My windows 8 laptop(IdeaPad U310) keeps making this device connect and disconnect noises.
I have hooked my laptop to a external display. These noises start when the display turns off after being idle for sometime.
My Event log is filled with even IDs 9020 and 9009 alternating every minute. I couldn't find any information online.

Welcome to the Forums.
The Desktop Window Manager is a part of Windows 8 that manages the aero effects (i.e. Aero Peek, Window Coloration, etc.). From the screenshots that you posted, it looks like a problem with DWM itself as discussed in this microsoft article.
Can you try to:
1. Run Windows Updates to get the latest patch and bug fixes for your OS.
2. Update your display driver (if you have Intel HD 4000 Graphics, get it here)
3. Disable visual effects and reboot.

Outlook 2013 keeps crashing. (mso.dll Exception code: 0xc0000005)

Outlook 2013 is crashing for a lot of my users and myself included. Looking at the event viewer, it is crashing iwth mso.dll with Exception code: 0xc0000005. It usually happens overnight. I'd leave for the day and when I get in in the morning, outlook
has crashed. I have tried manually disabling all add-ins but that did not help. Then I ran outlook in safe mode but still the same crash. I have deleted the mso.dll to have outlook reinstall it but that didn't help. I see that other people have the same issue

When all else is tried to no avail, can you do an offline virus scan on any of the problematic computers? Here's how:
1. Check if the computer has a 32- or a 64-bit system. Right-click on Computer icon, choose Properties. System type reveals the bitness.
2. Download the appropriate virus scanning version from http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/windows/what-is-windows-defender-offline
Note: If you're on Windows 8.1: http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/what-is-windows-defender-offline-beta
3. Insert a USB stick with nothing important on. Observe the drive letter (F:, G: etc ...) assigned to it.
4. Start the downloaded program and follow the instructions. Note: Choose the correct drive letter from 3 above.
5. Restart your computer so it will boot from the USB stick. Depending on computer brand you can often press F12 to get a boot menu.
Sometimes you have to enter BIOS to tell the computer to boot from USB if present.
The quick scan starts. Abort it and select Full Scan. Let it run overnight or till finished.

I've tried that with no success. Plus it can happen on a brand new freshly installed environment. Only thing that remedies the situation was disabling all Outlook GPOs on a test user and test pc.

You can create an App store account without a credit card, however that won't help you with updating your previous purchases. Apps are DRM protected, and tied to the account that was used to originally purchase them. There is no way to overcome this DRM protection or transfer them to another account(Itunes support can if you contact them). If you want to create an App store account without a credit card, follow the directions here, but bear in mind the DRM protection mentioned. If you use this account to download free apps, you will have to use this same account for all future updates:

Outlook 2007 keeps asking for username and password

We have a new exchange 2007 SP1 server but occasionally the outlook clients will ask for the username and password.
Is this a bug or does anyone have a fix?

I have an SBS 2008 install with a similar problem. Using a GoDaddy Cert. Worked fine prior to me running an update to the server. So I think we are getting some where here.
Symptoms
Win Server 2008 (Or SBS 2008)
Exchange 2007
Outlook Anywhere Enabled (RPC-HTTP)
SSL Cert Signed by GoDaddy
Outlook 2007 Clients
Outlook 2007 Clients show Login prompt to the 'remote.example.com' cancel or disable keeps poping it up after some time.
RPC-DIAG shows no problems
Client not configured for RPC-HTTPs
Outlook 2003 Clients unaffected
Things I have tried:
Basic & Windows Authentication on the EWS Virtual Directory in IIS7 on Exchange 07 (SBS 08) box - No Joy
New Profile on Outlook 2007 win XP SP3 - No Joy
New Profile on Outlook 2003 win XP SP3 - Works, but rest of office running Outlook 2007
Disabling Outlook Anywhere - No Joy
Visiting https://remote.example.com on affected Outlook 2007 win XP SP3 Machine - No Error Pages, or dialog boxes, Internet Explorer sees it as a valid Cert
Any KB Articles, or notices?? I have two end-user with a possible third (Business owner) who are getting cranky. :(

I had an issue similar to this. Win2k3 Ex07. All of my Outlook 2007
users were getting prompted over and over for the username and
password. It wasn't checking the certificate that they had installed
via internet explorer. To fix the problem, I opened IIS on the
Exchange server and checked the following directories under the
default website (the root site(default web site), oab, autodiscover).
Under the directory security tab, click Edit in the Secure
Communications section. I had the require SSL checked and the 128bit
encryption, but under Client Certificates, it was set to ignore. Once
I changed that to Accept for each of the folders, stopped and started
IIS, I stopped being prompted all the time for credentials. Hopefully
this will help someone in the future.
Just confirmed fixed for client!!!

SSO for MS outlook, OWA and Sharepoint using SSO 2.0

We have installed the secure login server 2.0. And configured SSO for SAP (ABAP, JAVA) systems using X.509 certificate. it is working fine.
We want to configure SSO for some non SAP applications like MS outlook, Outlook Web Access, Sharepoint.
I dont see any documentation in the implememntation guide of NW SSO 2.0 for how to configure these non sap applications to accept X.509 certificates.
Anyone please share the details of how to configure SSO for MS outlook, OWA and Sharepoint

Hello Yogesh,
Secure Login Server generates short lived certificates, this means after a configured time (or even
after an logout, because the Secure Login Client does not persist the private
keys in the file system) the private key and certificate is gone.
So using this for long term encryption is not practicable (because decryption
will be very very hard after a certificate/key renew...)
For a signature only solution the problem would be the signature validation, because it needs the
public key/certificate from the signer. This is usually included into the
PKCS#7 signature format, but its not guaranteed (depends on the application settings as example in outlook etc.). So this would be theoretically possible, but unlikely.
For long term encryption/signatures you need persistence certifkate/keys.
So thats the reason there is not documentation about that use case in Secure Login Server.

Exchange Server 2013: Outook Clients and OWA keeps on disconnecting/connecting every 5-10 mins

We have a new exchange server 2013 installed but also has exchange 2007 up.
MX records are now pointing to the new exchange server, all were working ok after DNS records were changed but after the weekend it Outlook clients and OWA keeps on disconnecting and reconnecting from exchange.
Exchange 2013 CU6
Anybody else experienced the same?

Has nothing to do with the SIM or master reset. This has been done to my phone. The SIM once and the factory reset many times over. You all just sold us a bad piece of equipment and have us by the tail with our contracts so none of us can get a new phone without paying full price or re-upping our contract. I just got off the phone last night with your high up tech people (you know, the hidden number we get once we tear into your support people enough), they went into my phone again and still didn't find anything wrong. You installed a variant of the "VSearch" trojan. Remove it as follows.
This malware has many variants. Anyone else finding this comment should not expect it to be applicable.
Back up all data before proceeding.
Triple-click anywhere in the line below on this page to select it:

Right-click or control-click the line and select
          Services ▹ Reveal in Finder (or just Reveal)
from the contextual menu.* A folder should open with an item selected. Drag the selected item to the Trash. You may be prompted for your administrator login password.

The trouble may have started when you downloaded and ran an application called "MPlayerX." That's the name of a legitimate free movie player, but the name is also used fraudulently to distribute VSearch. If there is an item with that name in the Applications folder, delete it, and if you wish, replace it with the genuine article from mplayerx.org.
This trojan is often found on illegal websites that traffic in pirated content such as movies. If you, or anyone else who uses the computer, visit such sites and follow prompts to install software, you can expect more of the same, and worse, to follow. Never install any software that you downloaded from a bittorrent, or that was downloaded by someone else from an unknown source.
In the Security & Privacy pane of System Preferences, select the General tab. The radio button marked Anywhere should not be selected. If it is, click the lock icon to unlock the settings, then select one of the other buttons. After that, don't ignore a warning that you are about to run or install an application from an unknown developer.
Then, still in System Preferences, open the App Store or Software Update pane and check the box marked
          Install system data files and security updates (OS X 10.10 or later)
or
          Download updates automatically (OS X 10.9 or earlier)
if it's not already checked.
*If you don't see the contextual menu item, copy the selected text to the Clipboard by pressing the key combination command-C. In the Finder, select
          Go ▹ Go to Folder...
from the menu bar and paste into the box that opens by pressing command-V. You won't see what you pasted because a line break is included. Press return.

After updating office365's password, can't login outlook, always let you input password again and again

This is a real issue in working. User uses win7 and Outlook2007.
The issue is that after updating office365's password, users can't login outlook, always let you input password again and again. Sometimes, we can fix the issue by deleting current outlook profile then create a new one. But sometimes the method can't work.
What is the root reason?

Hi Franklin,
Firstly, please make sure you can access the mailbox with the new Password in OWA. Then check your Account settings in Outlook 2007:
Click Tools > Account Settings. In the E-mail tab, double click the Exchange account. Click More Settings > Security > Select Negotiate Authentication > OK.
Please try to clean up the cached credential in your computer. Then fill in with the format of UPN when it prompted for credentials next time and check the Remember my credential to save it. About how to remove cached credentials, please follow these steps:
1. Launch the Credential Manager from Control Panel > All Control Panel Items > Credential Manager.
2. In the Generic Credentials section you’ll see a setting for [MS Outlook] which will include your SSO details. Click the downward-pointing arrow to the right of that value.
3. In the expand details, click Remove from vault. Then Outlook will no longer have a stored copy of your password.
