Outlook Profile not updating after migration

Hi,
Running a fairly straight forward setup
Clients = Outlook 2013
Legacy Exchange = 2010 UM SP3 RU4
Exchange = 2013 UM CU3
They're currently in a coexisting state
Have configured autodiscover, Outlook Anywhere etc.
Re-issued a cert with the same common name and included both legacy and new exchange servers
Split DNS
The issue that I have is after I have migrated a user from 2010 to 2013 they get prompted for credentials opening their outlook client and once they authenticate it states that it can't connect to exchange.
Checking their mail profile settings and I note that it still points to the 2010 FQDN
If I disable the Exchange RPC service on 2010 (effectively stopping any 2010 users from working) then the newly migrated user can open outlook fine (still gets an authentication prompt to which they must authenticate). Checking their mail profile their after
shows a series of numbers @ domain etc which is expected.
If it is a first logon user or you repair the profile the path updates too and Outlook works as expected.
Any thoughts?

Neither of those suggestions work

  • Outlook Profile Not Updated to New CAS Array After Mailbox Move Between Sites

    I am working on a large mailbox migration from one AD site to another.
    Exchange version at both sites:Exchange 2010 SP2
    Two Mailbox Servers: MBX01 in site A / MBX02 in site B
    (There is a DAG but keeping this simple)
    Two CAS Arrays: CASA.domain.com / CASB.domain.com
    The RPCClientAccessServer property is set accordingly.  Where MBX01 is set to CASA.domain.com and MBX02 is set to CASB.domain.com
    Clients:Outlook 2010 SP1
    Scenario: I successfully move a mailbox from Site A to Site B.  The Outlook client does not automatically update its server settings to point to the new cas array (CASB.domain.com) and continues to connect to the old CAS server (CASA.domain.com).
    I have seen a few articles regarding this pointing to workarounds such as:
    - repairing the outlook profile on the client
    - delete the existing outlook profile
    - run a script to update the prf file (re-cache's email at the client)
    I am interested in knowing if anyone else has experienced this, what their solution was for a large migration and if any roll-ups or service packs have possibly fixed this problem.
    I would also like to know if you have seen this affect ActiveSync devices.  I am getting mixed results in my tests and thought it may be contributed toward different device types, mobile os versions, etc...
    I have posted this to the Outlook forum as well, just wasn't sure where to start.
    Thanks.

    Hi,
    Firstly, I’d like to say, in Exchange 2010 and prior to SP2 CU3 version,
    when we move mailboxes between AD sites, users will not receive any notice about restarting Outlook and their RPC endpoint won’t update to reflect the RPC Client Access Server array associated with the mailbox database in the AD site where the mailbox now resides.
    Depending on repairing or recreating profile, we can force Outlook to use the new RPC endpoint.
    If you have any question, please feel free to let me know.
    Thanks,

  • I Photo will not update after migrating from old I-Mac to new I-Mac with fusion drive

    I just migrated from 2009 I-Mac with Mountain Lion to New I-Mac with Mountain Lion with migration Assistant. Now... I tunes will not update although Apple says one is available

    a couple of things - you should not "migrate" applications - you should use the new ones that come preinstalled - what version of of iPhoto do you have on your new mac?
    Migration assistance does not handle the iPhoto library well sometimes - the best way is to drag the bad iphoto library from the pictures folder on the new system to the desktop, connect the two systems together (network, firewire target mode, etc) and drag the iPhoto library intact as a single entity from the old system to the pictures folder of the new system and launch iPhoto on the new system - it will open and convert the iPhoto library as necessary and you will be fine - once you test the iPhoto library you can delete the one on the desktop

  • Clients Not Updating After Migration from Server 10.7 to 10.8 (update to cashing server)

    My school has been providing updates using Update Server on Lion.  With the update to Mountain Lion Server we switched to Cashing Server for updates and I removed the WG Manager (please no lecutres on WGM, I am transitioning) setting that pointed to the Update Server.  Some of my clients are not updating now.  My guess is that they are still looking to my update server.
    Is this an accurate diagnosis and how can I clear out this pointer?

  • User password not accepted after migration

    Source: iMac Lion OSX.7.4  Destination iMac OSX6.8
    Problem: user password is not accepted after migration
    What I did: Tried to migrate over the LAN, but in the migration assistant the other Mac was mutually never recognized. (Did migrations several times successfully in our LAN before). Last time the LIon Mac was the destination, who is now the source.
    I backupped then the  user with Time machine on the Lion and installed it with the migration assistant on the Snow Leopard system. As as the password was not accepted, I repeated the backup/migration process once. No help
    I reset in System Prefs/User accounts the password of that user. But cannot login either
    First time, that a migration process fails for me.
    Any help is appreciated
    Thanks
    Urs

    The target computer itself has admin accounts thats not the problem, I can access it. The issue is that the migrated additional user account is not accessible with its password.
    I have found here an istruction how to reset a password in single user mode.
    http://www.macyourself.com/2009/08/03/how-to-reset-your-mac-os-x-password-withou t-an-installer-disc/
    But that does not help either.The answer after the dscl -passwd command is that I do not have access (or similar, I don't remember)
    My guess is that backward migration (Lion to Snow) causes the problem. May be I need to create the user freshly and to copy his documents manually

  • Picked Quantity is not updated After delivery in Vl03n

    After delivey in Order (VA03), the picked quantity is not updated Properly(VL03n). It is coming as Zero.
    Is it any configurations needed or writng any code.
    For that I put Break point in FMs like SD_DELIVERY_UPDATE_PICKING in program RVADEK01.
    But it is not stopping the Program.
    Please give any possible solution.

    Hi Vinod,
    Thank u For ur Answer.
    Just my Fuctional Consultant given Procedure.
    How to test the picking list. The problem is after Deliver  the Order quantity in VA03 and after saving, this will creates One Out Bound delivery.
    Now We r checking VL03n. Now it is updating the Picked Quantity Correctly, For that We r using the Standard Print program: RVADEK01, Form: RVPICSKSIN.
    Output Type: EK00, Application: V4.
    Here My problem is We copied the Form and print Program and modified according to our requirement and they configured in Nace with our own Output type.  We haven't chenged the updated Functionality and Not even Standard program. We wrote some include program for getting new values in scripts.
    Now the picked quantity is not updated after picking in VL03n.

  • Node.length not updating after removeInstance

    I have a dynamic form where line items can be added dynamically. I also have a button to remove the last line item. The code worked fine until Acrobat 7.0.7 now I get an error that the index in the removeInstance method is invalid. After doing some debugging it appears that the node.length is not updating after a removal of an instance.
    For example, the form starts with 1 line item. (node.length = 2, index = 0)
    I can successfully add a new line item (node.length = 3, index = 1)
    I then can add another line item (node.length = 4, index = 2)
    I can successfully delete the last line item (index = 2) using the following code:
    var nodelength = form1.items.nodes.length;
    //need to know which instance is being removed
    if(nodelength>2){
    items.item.instanceManager.removeInstance(nodelength-2);
    else if(nodelength==2){
    form1.items.items.Status.rawValue = "";
    form1.items.items.guestName.rawValue = "";
    form1.items.items.Payment.rawValue = "";
    form1.items.items.Entree.rawValue = "";
    At this point the items.node.length property should be 3 but it remains 4 thus causing an error when running the above script again because there is no corresponding item to remove.
    This appears to be a bug - but if I am doing something wrong please let me know. If it is a bug, please fix it.

    This sounds like a bug I recently encountered. If it's the same thing then calling xfa.form.remerge() after the removeInstance() should correct the problem. If it is the same issue, it's already been logged in order to get it fixed.

  • Thumbnails not updating after external editing.

    I noticed the thumbnails are not updating after I use an external editor. When I bring the images full screen are they are representing correctly, but when I leave full screen the thumbnail still is not the latest image.
    I tried the update preview and Aperture said it they are updated, so I did an option and update preview and that corrected them, but this should be happening automatically.
    I did try restarting Aperture before the doing the "option - update preview" and that had no effect.

    Do you mean it is suppose to be fixed in 3.0.1? Or do I have to wait until a 3.1 comes out.
    I am using 3.0.1 now and that is where I am seeing the issue.

  • Ipad mini apps not updating after ios8.2 update

    apps not updating after software update ios8.2 on ipaD MINI WITH RETINA SCREEN

    Turn off any auto-update, if it is on, then tap any of the "circle icons" showing that a download is in progress, in order to stop the download. Then go to the Settings and reset the Network Settings. After the iPad starts back up, then check to make sure no apps are currently in progress of downloading. If any are, stop them again, and reset the network settings again. When it starts up again, none should be in the process of downloading. Then from that point forward, only download manually and never more than two at a time. If it is more than 100 MB, then do only one at a time. If any gets stuck at that point, then stop the download and reset the Network settings.
    That should take care of you for now. We'll see what another update brings ... IOS 8.2 (which might be the next one).

    Hi MK,
    You can try few things:
    1. Check to collector standard job like SAP_COLLECTOR_FOR_PERFMONITOR should be running succesfully.
    2.If you can check to data collector collection interval column , you will find it to be Not Schedule.
    Try with Repair all collector.
    To make it work properly you have to perform
    Data Collection Full
    Data Collection Incremental

  • "Find Form" calendar is not working after migration

    Hi,
    We have migrated from Oracle 9i to 10g.we have one form ''FormA" and "find form" for that FormA.Calendar functionality is present in both FormA and "Find FormA".if we try to use calendar functionality in "Find formA",its giving error like FRM-40104 - No such block calendar,FRM-40105(unable to resolve reference to item claendar.cell1.........),FRM-41045 (cannot find item - invalid id).Actually this scenario is not working after migrating the FORMS application to 'OAS10.1.2' from 'OAS904' .
    In 'OAS904' ,The calendar item is present in the 'FormA' form, the 'calendar.show' hides the "Find FormA" and appears in the FOrmA and uses FormA's calendar item and after selecting the date,the date s applied to the "Find FormA"
    But after migration, the "Find FormA" is not hiding, so its not able to retrieve the calendar properties.Because the calendar is present in "FormA".
