Outlook sync nokia e65....AAAAHHHHHH

I can't sync outlook via pc suite my e65.failed connection with folders pst.help me !!!!!

Is your phone getting connected successfully to your PC. As in does your PC suite say E65 connected.
If its sumthng to do with folders error then go to the advance settings in the sync option you will have the destinations to save.
Not sure of the excet steps but you will not miss it if you open thesync > settings > adv settings.
Are you syncing from pc to phone or phone to pc.
If its phone to pc then just create a new profile on your outlook by going to control panal > mail > show profile > add
Mark me a KUDOS if this has helped...

  • Undo Nokia - Outlook Sync

    Hi,
big time problem. I have deleted all my calender entries and task entries on my E71 and then accidently synchronized it via PC Suite with Outlook. The result is that all my Outlook calender entries and tasks have been deleted (92 items). That is a disaster...
I am desperate right now. I can still see the sync report where it is mentioned which elements have been deleted but is there anyway to undo the action or to sync back the items from the sync report (log file)?
    Any help will be appreciated...
    Thanks,
    Dennis

    Hi,
First i dont think you can Undo your Nokia-Outlook Sync
But if you have not done any other sync after your deletion sync, connect your phone, on your system tray you can see the pc sync icon(similar to yin yang symbol), right click on this icon.  You can see option called View last report, save that Log file, so that atleast you can see what all are the items got deleted.
I knew its not the reply you are looking for but someway you can check what all are items got deleted

  • Nokia E65 phone sync

I would like to tell me how am I going to set up my Mac Book bluetooth in order to get my contacts from my mobile phone! I did it once and it synchronized the mobile phone,ie erased my contacts while the mac book did not have any contact.
The contacts should be at a particular coding while it is in Greek menu (NOKIA E65)
    Thank you.

The Nokia E65 is not natively supported by iSync, so you'll need to download and install an iSync Plugin from Nokia:

  • E51 Selective Outlook Sync?

Is there any way to partially sync my E51 with Outlook?
All I really want to do is get my contacts into a spreadsheet but that has to go via Outlook since Nokia missed this basic functionality off the PC contact software.
And the trouble with an outlook sync is, if its both ways, I get all my outlook contacts on the phone, which I definitely dont want, or if phone to PC, I end up with my phone contacts 'lost' in my outlook address book. Again, I dont really even want to use Outlook but I would if this helped me get these users into a spreadsheet.
Or should I be using a contact manager app and if so which one?

I 'fixed' this by buying 'Mobile Master' which has a whole lot of functionality including spreadsheet export/import, and Palm Pilot sync as well (though I dont think selective is available with that either). But its still a million times better than the Nokia excuse for a contact app and is letting me clean my data up prior to my next phone which definitely will not be a Nokia.

  • Multiple problems with iSync 2.4 (e.g. "Exchange" error; Nokia E65)

Hi I have three questions regarding problems with iSync at the moment.
    1. I'm confused with iSync the program and iSync the '.Mac' feature in System Preferences.
    2. iSync often believes I'm trying to connect via Exchange. Not true, but it's stopping my syncing contacts in particular. I never use the Office Exchange program and one of the laptop user logins uses exchange for their email account via Mail. Can this be prevented. It currently stops all four users.
    3. Nokia E65 - iSync Plug-in Problem:
I have downloaded the plug-in Nokia made available from their site ( twice and when I try to install it stops at the 'select the destination' section when I supposed to select my hard drive with a green tick. However, it has a red cross and says 'installing this software requires 156kb of space. You cannot install the phone plug-in on this volume. Please update to the latest version of iSync using Software Updates.'
FYI, I have the latest versions according the my Software Update of System Preferences on my 10.4.9 MacBook. I also have 3.7Gb of free space on my hard drive, and I've tried the recommended process from Nokia three separate times.
Any tips, anyone? I've posted this on a Nokia discussion board to see if there are any Nokia specific solutions.
    Many, many thanks.

  • N95 Outlook sync cancelled 80043bd4

I have just installed OVI from PC Suite on my PC.
I used Outlook sync a lot and it worked ok on PC Suite.
OVI just gives me an error
    cancelled 80043bd4
All other Sync applications seem to work.
I use this sync a lot, and OVI has broken it.
    Can anyone help

I too have this error since upgrading from PC Suite to Ovi Suite. I have a Nokia N95 8GB, running V35.0.001.  My computer operating system is Windows 7 Ultimate, x64, English.  Browser software is IE8.  I never had (and still don't have) any issues in syncing my Outlook calendar using PC Suite (v7.1.40.1).  Outlook is Outlook 97, SP2.  I have tried to sync using both Bluetooth and USB both end up giving error messages and state to try again or use either a USB connection of Bluetooth connection (depending on which connection method I am using).
I must also say that Nokia of late have been rubbish!  I had big issues trying to get a refund on my Nokia Music account after they admitted that NM wont work using IE8 (they suggested I downgrade to IE7!) and their attitude to customer service is non existent.  This is such a shame as they used to be very good at customer service and support and have had great products.  My contract with O2 UK is due for renewal in February 2010 and I will be getting the HTC HD2 instead of a new Nokia device as I am sick of being treated as someone who does not mean anything at all to Nokia.  I believe this company has made too many good staff members redundant and this is the price that it's customer now have to pay.
Nokia, take note of what your customers are saying - ignore us at your peril.

  • Outlook Sync - Multiple Calendar Problem

(I am not sure whether this belongs in this Forum or would be more appropriately directed to my Device (Curve 8900) forum or Desktop Software.  Please advise or re-direct if that is the case.)
I am having a sync issue with Outlook, and it revolves around the issue of having multiple calendars on the Device, each of which is associated with an e-mail address.  I understand this has been a relatively common question; however, although I admittedly may be looking in the wrong place, I have yet to come across a comprehensive solution.
I understand how to switch the "default" e-mail associated with scheduling items on the calendar, and I believe I'm correct in thinking that this is what syncs with Outlook.  I've noticed that when I try switching the default, Outlook wants to delete all other appointments which are NOT associated with that device calendar.
So I guess my specific questions are:
    1) Is there a way to have Outlook sync with ALL calendars on the device, i.e. not just the default?  It's easy enough to make all appointments from here on out with a single account & have that be the one that syncs; however, it doesn't seem possible to do that without having Outlook want to delete all other appointments.
    2) Is there a way to change the associated email/calendar for events on the Device?  When I open an event, I can see which email/calendar it is but I don't know how to *change* it -- I only seem to have a choice when scheduling new events.
If either of these was an option, I think that would solve my problem -- I could either go through the device & convert everything to the default email/calendar & everything would be there upon sync, OR Outlook would just pick up everything from all calendars when I sync.
I don't understand why it's so complicated to have everything in one place!
Thanks in advance to those willing to share their wisdom & advice in this matter.

I was going to post that article but you beat me to it.
I believe this is the only way to accomplish this on a BlackBerry

  • E-mail (Outlook) syncs to iMac and iPad, but not to iPhone. How can I get it to sync to all three devices?

My e-mail (Outlook) syncs to my iMac and my iPad.  However, I can read e-mails on my new iPhone, respond to them, and even erase them, but when I go to my computer or iPad afterwards, they still appear unopened and I have to open each one and close it again so it doesn't show up as an unread e-mail.  This does not happen with the iMac and iPad; deleting it on one of those deletes it on the other as well.  What am I doing wrong?

I asked the hosts to relocate your question to the Using iPhone Forum. You should get helped there.

  • Outlook Sync Error SOLVED - Multi-day repeating appointment cannot be converted for use on the Handheld...

*UPDATE 1/23/2009 07:08 AM* This is a partial fix. I no longer think the Recurrence Range is the culprit. It seems the Time Zones features between Outlook & Palm are not cooperating. This explains why my 12 am events are syncing as 6 pm the day before; I live in GMT-6:00 so it's moving my events ahead by 6 hours. Another event I set for 1 pm in Outlook was changed to 7 am on my Treo. I am going to start over and recreate each event, this time setting the Time Zones, which I hadn't done before. I tested it out and it worked with a single event... let's see how long it lasts. I've also found that using 'No Time' on my Treo is not compatible with Outlook. It's better to set a time with 0 minutes duration.
*UPDATE 1/23/2009 04:11 AM* This is a partial fix. My monthly and yearly problematic recurring events are now showing up at 6 pm the day before on my Treo, though my Outlook calendar is fine. I think this has to do with the Recurrence Range Start/End in Outlook, which is set automatically. If only there were a way to change this...
After a WHOLE LOTTA trial-and-error (like 3 days worth), I think I finally solved my OLERR:14-001 issue!
Problem: Syncing Palm Treo 755p calendar with Outlook 2007
    Error Message (simplified):
HotSync session completed with messages on [date] [time]
HotSync session started on [date] [time], and completed in [0] seconds
Outlook Calendar synchronization completed with messages
    Duration: [0] seconds
    Outlook Calendar
The multi-day repeating appointment titled [event] beginning [date] [time] cannot be converted for use on the Handheld. Please divide the appointment up into single-days and re-synchronize.
     OLERR:14-0001
    - Desktop overwrite HH Sync
Note: You will likely have several of these ‘Multi-day’ instances in your hotsync log (I had 58). You may want to change Calendar in hotsync to "Desktop overwrites Handheld" after you get this error, to avoid erasing events while you are fixing this issue. Otherwise, you may have to restore them from a backup copy (if you have one) and start over. You can switch back once you’re through.
Solution: First, I tried this Palm KB Article: http://kb.palm.com/SRVS/NUA/launchKB.asp?c=31167. After this didn’t work for me… I did trial-and-error. I believe the problem is that each recurring event, which you set up as ‘All-day’, must be changed to have a duration of 0 minutes from within Outlook. I was able to change some events directly, but I found that some of the records had corrupted, and would just revert. My fool-proof solution was to recreate EVERY problematic event (yes, one-by-one) using the following steps:
    Open Outlook
Go to your default calendar, where your events are synced
In the top menu choose ‘View’ > ‘Current View’ > ‘Recurring Appointments’
    Open a ‘New Appointment’
Enter subject and other options, such as Categorize, Importance, Time Zones, or Reminder
Make sure starting and ending date & time are the EXACT same
Select ‘Recurrence’ & choose your pattern
I did not choose ‘No end date’ (hence the Palm article), but rather ‘End by:’ and typed in 2031, then pressed tab to auto-generate a suitable end date. I chose 2031 because that is last year my Treo’s calendar goes to. Click OK
Repeat for every event in your error log, until you get a clean "Desktop overwrites Handheld" hotsync (Outlook should be closed when you sync)
Switch Calendar in hotsync back to "Synchronize"
Even though I still get the message OLERR14:001, my syncs are successful. Now I will give my Treo time to see if the issue returns later. Until then, happy Outlook syncing and good luck!

  • New firmware for Nokia E65?

    Hi!
I've heard many who have updated their Nokia E65 to firmware v3.0633.69.00 but my updater still says v2.0633.65.01 . Where do I get the v3?
And my E65 is very very very slow to open menus and messages. Anyone else got this problem? How can I fix this sluggish phone and make it faster? It sometimes take 5-6 seconds to open the menu or an SMS. That's realy bad
    Nokia E65
    Solved!
    Go to Solution.

    Hello itmn,
I updated my E65 to v3 at Nokia Care Point (even though it was not available in NSU, they told me they always receive the firmware upgrades first than they are released to the Internet/NSU).
After a couple of weeks using this new firmware, I noticed battery improvements (with 3G switched off), the phone is little to nothing faster, and some minor bugs I was experiencing related to WLAN were corrected.
As to your E65 being slow, I once was experiencing the same with v2 firmware and the only solution I managed to fix it was to reset the phone.
I reseted after a back up, but then decided to restore only contacts and calendar entries, and reinstall all the applications from new/fresh downloads (as I noticed some of them didn't work if they were restored from the back up).
In the end, the phone was faster and more responsive.
I guess you could give it a try.
    Cheers
