Outlook Task reminders showing 1 hour early on BB

Hi Folks,
The problem I am having is that all my Blackberry users connected to our BES10 server are having task reminders (set in outlook on on the phone directly) going off exactly 1 hour early.
Strangely calendar appointments and alarms etc. All go off at the correct times, its just Tasks that are causing an issue.
any help on this would be appreciated.
thanks,

Any help on this guys?
Driving my users and myself nuts - not having task reminders go off at the correct time.
cheers.

  • Outlook Task reminders sync incorrectly

My phone is synced to our mail server thru exchange 2013.  When I create a task in outlook and put a reminder time it shows in outlook correctly.  Once the task syncs to my iphone5 everything is correct but the reminder time.  It always defaults to 12am.  You have to open the task on the phone and correct it.
    But...
If you create a task on the phone first it syncs correctly to outlook.  Correct reminder time and everything.
is this just a bug with the phone, exchange or is there something i can tweak to resolve this.

  • Some Outlook tasks only showing up in Outlook Web App, even if they were entered in Outlook 2013 or on the iOS email client.

A user creates tasks in Outlook 2013, his Exchange email account on his iPhone and in the Outlook Web App (Not Outlook.com). A small number of these tasks will only show up in the Outlook Web App, though, no matter which platform he entered the
task from. He can enter a task in Outlook 2013 and it might not show up on the task list in Outlook 2013 or IOS after that, but WILL show up in the outlook Web App task list.
At first I thought sorting was the issue, but we compared all tasks in both Outlook 2013 and OWA, sorted by due date, and, sure enough, some were missing from 2013.
What I am not sure of:
If/how long a task will be visible on the platform it was submitted before it begins only appearing in OWA.
    How long ago this started
I couldn't find this issue in the community or with a quick google search.
I am going to see when he is available to sit down and go through tasks to see if there is a pattern and try replicate it so I can see how long it might be available on the submitting platform before disappearing.
I can provide any other info needed. Thoughts on this issue?

    Hi,
I would suggest you reset the view if you found some tasks in Outlook missing.
    VIEW tab -> Reset View.
Or we can simply start Outlook with the switch "/cleanviews"(Restores default views. All custom views that you created are lost):
Press Win + R and type “outlook.exe /cleanviews” in the blank box, then press Enter.
Check if this helps you find the missing tasks.

  • Task reminders and British Summer Time (GMT +1)

I have Ovi Suite 2.1.1.1 and an E71.
When I sync tasks with a reminder from Outlook, the reminder on my phone is one hour later.  Schedule items sync at the right time.
I have selected GMT +1.00 on the phone as the time zone.
Something has obviously gone wrong with the timezone calculation as the phone doesn't realise that the time passed in from Outlook is already in British Summer Time (GMT +1) and goes ahead and adds an hour. However, it doesn't add an hour for schedule events....????
    Ta,
    Ed.

Yes, the same problem using a Nokia E72 in Hungary. Reminders in Outlook 2007 are 2 hours earlier than on the phone. Very irritating! I'm using OVI Suite 2.1.1.1 on Win 7 (64-bit).
    Any help around?

  • SPlanner shows appointments an hour earlier than outlook

My S4 Calendar has started syncing all my Outlook appointments an hour earlier than in Outlook.  I was recently (a month ago) in the Pacific Time Zone (I live in the Eastern Time Zone).  I have traveled in the past with no problem - my appointments always go back to the correct time.  This time, I've gone as far as deleting my Exchange account, but the entries are still an hour behind.  I've also tried using other Calendar apps.  They too are syncing the wrong time.  I use MS Outlook 2010.  Help! What am I missing!

Let's figure this out, Tarheel711! If you use other calendar apps that are not connected to outlook, do they show appointments at the correct time? If this is only an issue when synced to Outlook, there may be an issue with your exchange server.

  • TS3899 Sending a meeting invite from Exchange 2007 account located in Central Time from Outlook 2010 Email Client located in Eastern Time cause meeting to show up 1 hour early on iPhone

Sending a meeting invite from Exchange 2007 account located in Central Time from Outlook 2010 Email Client located in Eastern Time cause meeting to show up 1 hour early on iPhone.

The meeting invite is being sent from a Computer through the Outlook 2010 Email Client. Both Computer and Outlook 2010 are set to Eastern Time. The OWA (Outlook Web Access) for the 2007 account is set to Eastern Time. The Outlook 2010 Email Client is connected to an Exchange 2007 account and the Exchange server for the exchange 2007 account is located in Chicago (Central Time) and is set to Central Time. When the meeting invite is sent from the Outlook 2010 Client the recipient receives the invite on his/her iPhone(set and located in the Eastern Time Zone) and a mime-attachment.ics file is attached to the meeting invite email. There is no info displayed in the subject line or message body. If the iPhone user opens the attachment it displays the meeting date and time and any other info that was sent from Outlook. The Outlook 2010 user sets the meeting for 10:00am to 11:00am. when the meeting invite mime-attachment.ics file is opened on the iPhone the meeting is displayed as 9:00am to 10:00am. if the iPhone user adds the ics file to his/her calendar it adds a meeting event that is scheduled 1 hour earlier than it is supposed to be. I had the iPhone user to set Time Zone support on and off and there is no change.

  • Tasks/Reminders added from Outlook (iCloud Control Panel synced) can't be checked off as completed on iOS

I have Outlook on my PC, and can interact with the iOS reminders/tasks through syncing with the iCloud Control Panel. However, if I add a task/reminder this way I have been unable to mark the reminder as complete on my iOS devices (iPhone and iPad). The reminders show up, but clicking on the circle to the left of the task just updates the UI (fills in a circle). If you exit the reminders app or Today screen and go back, the task still remains uncompleted in the list.
Has anyone else seen this? Right now, from iOS, I can only get rid of the reminders by deleting (instead of completing) them ... which is not ideal.
    Current Configuration:
    iPhone 5s with iOS 7.1
    iPad Air with iOS 7.1
Outlook 2010 on Windows 7 with iCloud Control Panel 3.1

    Hello desert_dweller5,
It sounds like you art trying to access a Shared Photo Stream, but you do not have one of the devices to enable your Apple ID as an iCloud account.  The following article provides information on how Shared Photo Streams work:
    iCloud: Photo Stream FAQ
    http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4486
The article states that for privately Shared Photo Streams to work, the recipient will not only have to have an Apple ID, but it will have to be an iCloud account:
Friends and family with iCloud accounts can view your photos in the Photos app on any device using iOS 6 or later; on a Mac in iPhoto 9.4 or Aperture 3.4 or later; on a Windows PC with Windows Vista or later and iCloud Control Panel 2.0 or later installed; or on a second generation or later Apple TV with software version 5.1 or later installed. They can also view your photos on the web if you enable Public Website in the settings or options for your Shared Photo Stream.
Since you do not have an iCloud account and just and Apple ID, your friend can share the photo stream as a public website so that you can view it, as stated in the same article:
Can I share with people who don't have an iCloud account?
Yes. If you enable Public Website in the settings or options for your shared photo stream your photos will be published to a website that anyone can view in an up-to-date web browser.
To be able to change an Apple ID to an iCloud account, you would need an iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch with iOS 5 or later or a Mac with OS X Lion v10.7.4 or later as stated in the following article:

  • Ovi Suite Outlook meeting and task reminders

Hello, when working I strongly rely on Outlook's reminders window. When a reminder for a task or a date is active on the mobile, I have to stop the alarm in order to not have the alarm start every couple of minutes although the task might not be finished. Upon the next synchronisation with the PC, the reminder will be removed from the task/date on the PC and the task/date will no longer show up in the reminder window although the task might not be finished. Repeated tasks also have their reminders removed once and forever and future instances of these tasks will no langer call attention. This is proper performance of the mobile calendar software and Ovi synchronisation (apart from the repeated tasks maybe) as far as I can see still I would need to work around this behaviour because of the aforementioned reasons. What I would need is to stop the reminder on the mobile and still have the task/date stay in outlook's reminder window. Any ideas apart from the trivial "don't synchronize" solution? Thanks System specs: Mobile E72, Firmware 051.018 Ovi Suite 2.2.1.23 Outlook 2010 Win 7 Prof

  • Outlook tasks completed in iOS Reminders app regenerate 'orphaned' reminders endlessly in Outlook.

Our small business runs up-to-date (iOS 8) Apple devices that sync via MS Exchange with our email, contacts, reminders, etc.
I create a task in Outlook and include a reminder. The task and reminder sync to Reminders on my iPhone and iPad. When I mark a task complete on mobile, the reminder disappears there as it should... but it regenerates the reminder in Outlook! The Outlook task is complete, but the reminder pops up at the top of the list in the Outlook reminders pop-up window. Marking it complete there is an option, but it just regenerates a new reminder. The only way to remove this 'orphan' reminder is to dismiss the reminder or delete the task.
The iOS 8 Reminders app would be very useful but for this bug. It's even better that it puts my work tasks and home tasks (we use a Mac at home so no problem there) in one place. But as it is, the app is not a time saver, but a time-waster and a source of frustration.
    Please advise!

I do not know the answerr. Ik also have same question

  • How can I sync my Microsoft Outlook tasks with my Ipad reminders? I dont want to use Icloud or an exchange

How can I sync my Microsoft Outlook tasks with my Ipad reminders? I dont want to use Icloud or an exchange

Plug it into your computer. Tell it to sync with "this computer" instead of iCloud. You shouldn't have to remove any apps. Otherwise, you can save the app data by using i-FunBox ( http://www.i-funbox.com/ ) just go to the "devices" tab and select 'user applications' and select all of your apps and tell iFunBox to "copy to pc" you're done! You have them all backed up.

  • Reminders wont sync with my outlook tasks etc.

have updated both my ipad2 and iphone 4 to the new operating system, and was expecting reminders to work as mail and calanders have.
have is set up some thing incorrectly?

Unfortunately Tasks-to-Reminders syncing is only possible via an Exchange server or via iCloud. However syncing Tasks to Reimnders via iCloud has its own set of issues (it's not a true sync imho).
Unlike calendar, contacts, mail, and notes, you cannot sync Outlook Tasks to iOS5 Reminders via USB/iTunes.
To use iCloud to sync this one Outlook data type:
Install the iCloud Control Panel, which will also install add-on in Outlook
    Set up Reminders sync
New "iCloud" groups will automatically be created in Outlook Calendars and Tasks (even if you only choose to sync Reminders/Tasks)
I'd still love to know why Apple continues to leave only Outlook Tasks off the list of USB/iTunes sync-able things...
Here's an Apple KB article to get you started (if you want to try iCloud)

  • IPhone "moves" appointments 1 hour early upon sync w/Outlook 2007

This is driving me crazy. When I create an appointment in Outlook then sync to iPhone, it changes the appointment time to one hour earlier on the phone - but the time remains them same in Outlook.
Further, if I create an appointment on iPhone then sync to Outlook it works fine - UNTIL I sync again, then it will shift that same appointment one hour earlier.
Yes, I can trust Outlook for the correct time - but I'm not at my PC 90% of the time. And I usually make appointments months in advance so trying to remember which one is actually correct is almost impossible.
Any help or secret magical formulas for creating appointments would be greatly appreciated!

Don't know if you found a solution but I had a coworker who was having the same issue and we worked out the solution that worked for him.
I wrote it up on my blog: http://weblog.techdad.net/2008/08/27/fix-it-outlook-calendar-and-iphone-calendar -events-hours-not-synched-correctly/
LMK if this fix works for you!

  • Report showing hours per artisan per task

How do i generate a report that shows hours each artisan spends on a particular task? Illustration: for a four weekly service of a dump truck, i have four artisans to carry out the service. how do i generate a report that will show how many hours each artisan contributed to the task.
    artisan 1 ........................? hrs
    artisan 2..........................? hrs
and so on and so forth

Those '?' symbols are standing for number of hours. To be specific, I want a report that will give me number of hours against each artisan's personnel number/name for each task performed. e.g

    Personnel 2........................2H

Hmmm. I do believe that Apple has set it up so that tasks sync in reminders in my iOS device, so that would be something to do with Apple, don't you think?
