Outlook Web App login errors and VZ in-Home-Agent says primary acct is invalid

Here is some problems Im having with my email
1st the good things:
I can access and have full use of my primary/sub accounts via Verizon web site and Outlook.
2nd the bad things:
Outlook Web App gives me login in errors on primary and sub accounts
VZ-In-House Agent troubleshooting reports my primary email as "invalid" and won't test, but reports my sub account is good and checks okay.
Have anyone experienced any issues like this?

Hello
I've downloaded the zip file about 6 times and I'm getting always the same error. I dont even know in which package or part of the script I get this error.

  • Trouble viewing Microsoft Outlook Web App on MacBook and iPad

I have used outlook.com for my university's email account for the past year, accessing it from my brand new MacBook. Then earlier this month all of the images and formatting have been completely wrong.  All the images just come up as a question mark and there is no formatting for the webpage at all.  All I see is everything stuck on the left-hand side like this:
    Inbox
    Unread Messages (5)
    Sent Items
and so on and so forth.  None of the links work at all, they just reload the current page.  On my iPad I cannot even login to my account, Outlook tells me my password is incorrect (it's not).  Also as of this past week my MacBook tells me the security certificate of Outlook.com is invalid, and it warns me that it might be a phony website
Outlook.com works perfectly fine from PCs, but from both my home macs it is failing.  Microsoft charges $39 to get an email back so they are of no use whatsoever.
What on Earth should I do?

    Hello strick,
I'm able to load Outlook.com just fine in Safari, Chrome and Firefox. So it's possible that it's a weird cookie and/or cache issue for your web browser. You didn't specify which browser you were using, so I'm going to assume it's Safari. Anyway here's an explanation (from Google) on how to do it for each browser -
    http://www.google.com/support/accounts/bin/answer.py?answer=32050
It sounds more like a browser issue than anything else, as I'm unable to replicate any issues with the Outlook.com site across all three of the popular browser platforms for OS X.

  • The test encountered an error while signing in to Outlook Web App. HTTP code: 200

Infrastructure: Exchange 2010 SP3 RU2 environment on 17 servers worldwide with CAS, MB, HUB and UM roles. Server 2008 R2 VM's on Hyper-V 2008 R2.
Trying to run the following command to test OWA connectivity on a server in the same Active Directory domain but in a different AD site:
    Get-ClientAccessServer -Identity Server1 | test-owaconnectivity -AllowUnsecureAccess -TrustAnySSLCertificate
    I get the reponse:
WARNING: [11:04:51.276] : An Outlook Web App page wasn't received.

The test encountered an error while signing in to Outlook Web App. HTTP code: 200
This is the same error message received from SCOM on its tests also.
I have created a test account on all 17 servers using ./new-TestCasConnectivityUser and ensured their mailboxes reside on the correct server in the correct database.
All internal servers are set for OWA and ECP for Windows Authentication. Only public facing CAS servers are set to Forms based. That said, have checked the 'Microsoft Exchange Forms-Based Authentication service' is running on both Server1 and Server2 as
are all Exchange services except 'Microsoft Exchange IMAP4' (not used) or 'Microsoft Exchange POP3' (not used).
However, if I run this command:
    test-owaconnectivity -AllowUnsecureAccess -TrustAnySSLCertificate -URL
    https://server1.domain.com/owa
I get the following success after I have entered my correct credentials:
Windows PowerShell Credential Request : cmdlet Test-OwaConnectivity at command pipeline position 1
Warning: This credential is being requested by a script or application on the Server2.domain.com remote computer.
Enter your credentials only if you trust the remote computer and the application or script requesting it.

                                                            https://server1.domain.com/owa

So if I login with my domain username, it works and logs in. If the script runs using the 'extest....' user account created by the above ./new-TestCasConnectivityUser.ps1 , it does not work.
Has anyone got any ideas please? I know its not the network as it works under my username, I know all fo the services required are running as it works under my username. There are no entries at all in the receiving server's error logs for Application, System,
    Exchange or Powershell at all.
    Any help greatly appreciated.

  • Seeing the X on the padlock and a slash through the https on the address line when I use Outlook Web App

I run exchange 2013 on windows 2008 R2 with a cert from VeriSign that is about 2 years away from expiration. I have a user who uses our Outlook Web App from home and keeps complaining he is "seeing the red X on the padlock and a slash through the https
on the address line when he uses Outlook Web App"
I go to EAC and the cert seems fine - ALTHOUGH I get a cert error on my IE when I login into EAC. So I'm wondering if I have a cert problem.
    Any help would be appreciate.

    Hi,
According to your description, I understand that login OWA and return an certificate warning.
If I misunderstand you concern, please do not hesitate to let me know.
I want to double confirm whether all user or some special user experience this issue. If only few of user face this problem, please try to double check the Trusted Root Certification Authorities Certificate Store in IE.
Otherwise, please run below command to double check the status of Exchange certificate:
    Get-ExchangeCertificate | FL Identity,Subject,Status,RootCAType,NotAfter,NotBefore
If the certificate expired, please pay attention to below link to renew Exchange Certificate:

  • Questions regarding Outlook Web App, Remote Desktop, Remote Web Access and VPN Access

    Hi there,
I want to ask a series of questions regarding Outlook Web App, Remote Desktop, Remote Web Access and VPN access and was hoping whether you could help me. Below are my questions to ask you.
Outlook Web App - What do I need to configure in order to get my Exchange account to work with the OWA app on my iPhone? Is Office 360 required on the server that hosts Outlook Web App in our organisation? When I configure the settings and
connect I get the following message "couldn't connect -  We couldn't connect to the server. Check your information and make sure it's correct." I can connect with other devices using Outlook Web App.
Remote Desktop - What do I need to configure in order to connect to my computer at work using Remote Desktop on my Windows Phone? When I configure the settings and connect I get the following message "Connection error - We couldn't connect
to the remote PC. Make sure the PC is turned on and connected to the network, and that remote access is enabled. Inquiring minds may find this error code helpful: 0x204" I can connect with other devices using Remote Desktop. There are currently no
RD Server settings in the Remote Desktop app on the Windows Phone and the only way I'm to connect to my PC at work is via Remote Desktop and not to be confused with the one by Microsoft, however the app is on a trial basis and times out every 5 minutes and
can only be used once every hour unless I purchased the app for £2.99 off the App Store but would ideally like to use the Microsoft Remote Desktop app though.
Remote Web Access - What do I need to configure in order to get Remote Web Access on my Windows Phone using a URL? When I log in using a URL I get the following message "There is a problem with this Web page. Please contact the person who manages
the server" I can connect with other devices using Remote Web Access. Also how do you enable the background option for Remote Web Access? I know how to do this in Remote Desktop but not in Remote Web Access. Remote Web Access works on PCs regardless
being onsite and offsite and on my iPhone, the same issue also occurs with my Nokia 5230s regardless of whether I'm using Opera Mobile or Mini or the latest Nokia Browser.
VPN access - How do you configure VPN access on a Windows Phone using VPN? I cannot find the protocols PPTP, L2TP, SSTP and IPsec in order to configure VPN access on the Windows Phone apart from IKEv2.
    Many thanks,
    RocknRollTim

Any help would be much appreciated.
    Kind regards,
    RocknRollTim

  • How do I get back my govt MS Outlook email. I mistakenly changed it to Outlook Web App and it changed everything. I want my govt. email back.

I used to have my emails at home look exactly like my govt outlook emails. Somehow I changed it on my home computer to using Outlook Web App and I hate it. It's slower, totally foreign to me and I get many error messages. I would like to sign in with my BC govt. username/password and have it look exactly like it does at the office. I tried for weeks to get it back but I don't know how. Please help me. I log into https:\\[email protected] for my govt website.

Microsoft Office Outlook does not run inside the browser. If you have it installed on your home computer, you should be able to find it on the Windows Start menu and run it from there. If you were previously remote controlling your work computer, you probably need to work with your IT on getting that set up again if it stopped working.

I figured out the error. The error is caused by the "Fasterfox extension". Disable or uninstall the extension and then try to open the outlook after restarting the firefox.

    Hi,
Step 1: Navigate Web Outlook (say
    https://webmail.t-mobile.com)
step 2: Navigate "Options" link (next to 'Change password'
link) in Outlook Web App. (Browser: ie11, Google Chrome)
    step 3:
You will be broken; your page will give some server error.
    Note:
I am not able to attach screen shoot because of my account is not verify till now :(
    Thanks

That is not an Outlook issue but an OWA issue.
You'll need to contact the support department or Exchange administrator of this domain and notify them of it as they haven't properly implemented the password change feature for OWA behind a reverse proxy.

  • Stolen iPad was wiped and erased/synched my exchange calendar. I have recovered some of the calendar entries through the outlook web app, but only entries made in the last 15 or so days. Any ideas on how to recover the rest?

My ipad was stolen over the weekend and i immediately contacted apple to do a data-wipe.
On wednesday, the ipad was apparently wiped and then decided to sync with all of my other systems. It's been two days and I just figured out how to access and recover deleted items from the Outlook Web App from my exchange host.
They were scattered throughout and sorted by the date they were added to the calendar so some things are still missing. Anyone know how to restore what i'm still missing?

  • Cannot open email in outlook web app. cannot re-open firefox because it doesnot completely close. uninstalled and re-installed several times.

I cannot open emails in my university's Outlook Web App. I cannot re-open Firefox after I exit because it doesn't really close down (parts still in Task Manager which I have to end before firefox reopens.). I have downloaded installed and re-installed. I run a desktop with Windows 7 ultimate and a 64-bit machine.

Do you have the Firefox icon on your quick launch? Right click
on it, and select '''Open New Window.''' Sometimes this works.
If it opens, close it by '''Menu > File > Exit.'''
This is not a cure but will make it easier if Firefox locks up in Windows.

  • Exchange and Office Web Apps Integration - Wrong Url to Outlook Web App port 444

    Hi,
I'm trying to setup Office Web Apps integration with Exchange 2013.  Office Web Apps are working fine with SharePoint 2013 and the WAC servers are listed as in a healthy state.
When trying to open an office document from OWA I get the usual "Sorry...we ran into a problem.  Please try again"
However I have noticed that the URL that OWA is passing WAC is in the format: https://exchangeservername.domain.com:444/owa/[email protected]/wopi/files...
This is the backend server address! All the internal and external urls for owa, ecp, ews etc are set to https://mail.domain.com and they all seem to be working fine.  Client Access and Mailbox roles are on the same server.
If I change the url to https://mail.domain.com/owa/[email protected]/wopi/files... then the office file opens correctly in Office Web Apps
How do I correct the URL that OWA is sending Office Web Apps?
    Thanks!

    Hi DJL,
If everything works well except open document via OWA, it seems Exchange server 2013 has been configured correctly.
Please follow me to check Office Web Apps Server settings and Integration.
    OWAS settings
    1. Certificate:
Come from a trusted CA, include FQDN of OWAS farm in SAN field.
    Exportable private key.
Friendly name must be unique within Trusted Root Certificate Authorities store.
    2. Farm:
    New-OfficeWebAppsFarm with following parameters
-InternalURL is the FQDN of the server that runs OWAS
-ExternalURL is the FQDN so that OWAS can be access on the Internet
-CertificateName is the friendly name of the certificate to be used for HTTPS
    3. Explore this URL https://mail.domain.com/hosting/discovery
If OWAS works well, you can see a WOPI-discovery XML file in web browser.
    Integration
    1. Configure OWAS URL via EMS,
    Set-OrganizationConfig –WACDiscoveryEndpoint https://mail.domain.com/hosting/discovery
    2. WAC stands for Web Access Components.
Check App Log the 140 and 142 Event IDs for MSExchange OWA.
142 means the discovery of the OWAS was successful, 141 means something went wrong.
    3. Enable OWAS.
By default, OWA Virtual Directory is already enable WAC Viewing on both public and private computer.
Please run "Get-OwaVirtualDirectory | FL *wac* "to check whether both “WacViewingOnPublicComputersEnabled” and “WacViewingOnPrivateComputersEnabled” parameter is True.
    4. Method to collect logs on OWAS.
Run following command in OWAS powershell prompt:
    Get-OfficeWebAppsFarm | FL *log*
