Outlook wont show my iClould contacts

when I want to write a mail there are no contacts in the adressbook, but contacts are still in Outlook when I go to contacts. Any idea what is going wrong?

Did you also tried restore as new? Maybe your backup is corrupted.

I cant see all my contacts when I log in to Icloud.com. I can see only Icloud contcts, same in my phone. How can I make all my contacts appear in Icloud contacts?

Maybe I dint express myself right. Its obvious that I can only see Icloud contacts in Icloud, but in my phone there are 2 categories, Contacts from my pc and I cloud, I want them to be in the same place. I want Icloud to have all my contacts. I can not move or copy them from one palce to other. Only the contacts I entered manualy are in Icloud.

Hypesuh I would recommend reviewing both Error downloading Creative Cloud applications - http://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/kb/error-downloading-cc-apps.html and Creative Cloud app doesn't open and hangs on spinning progress wheel - http://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/kb/creative-cloud-app-doesnt-open.html as it appears both documents are applicable towards the difficulties which you are currently facing.

the sync of contacts and calenders has been working before, but stopped down the lane (somewhere around ios 8-launch.time)....
icloud account and backup was deleted today on the iphone and on my other device (mb pro/mavericks)

My ipod touch 5th gen wont show up in i-tunes. windows 8

when I connect my ipod touch 5th gen to my computer, it wont show up in I-tunes for me to load download or sync. 1 time out of ten it might come up in i tunes. but even when it does, on the summary screen in i tunes it still says ' please connect your device to computer in order to check for updates. so it there but its not! ive tried a new cable, and clearing all my settings on the ipod. un installing and re installing i tunes on my computer. i cant get it to work properly. only started doing this in last couple weeks. before that it was fine! i have windows 8.1 on my computer

- Inspect the dock connector on the iPod for bent or missing contacts, foreign material, corroded contacts, broken, missing or cracked plastic.
Try the remaining items of:

- I would start with
Removing and Reinstalling iTunes, QuickTime, and other software components for Windows XP
or
Removing and reinstalling iTunes and other software components for Windows Vista, Windows 7, or Windows 8
Not clear you removed and reinstall ALL Apple software.
However, after your remove the Apple software components also remove the iCloud Control Panel via Windows Programs and Features app in the Window Control Panel. Then reinstall all the Apple software components
- Then do the other actions of:
iOS: Device not recognized in iTunes for Windows
paying special attention to item #5
- New cable and different USB port
- Run this and see if the results help with determine the cause

Microsoft Outlook 2011 for Mac sync Contacts and Calendar issues

OK, so I have a Macbook Pro with OS X Mountian Lion. I have Microsoft Outlook 2011 for Mac installed. Asked @BlackberryHelp on Twitter how to sync my Blackberry Torch with Outlook as it seems to default to using the builtin Apple Contacts and Calendar instead of Outlook. So they sent me the link to KB19148: "How to synchronize organizer data in Microsoft Office for Mac between the BlackBerry smartphone and a Mac computer using BlackBerry Desktop Software". So I turned on the Sync Services in Outlook and it gave me the dialog box confirming that everything was synced. And it appeared to copy and sync whatever Contacts in the Apple Contacts and calendar entries in the Apple Calendar into Outlook and vice versa. Cool since that's what I wanted.
Then I tried using the Blackberry Desktop Manager to sync everything to my Blackberry Torch 9810. Everything looked like it synced until I opened my Blackberry and all my Contacts were gone. Same with my Calendar entries, except that the Calender entries were hit and miss to whatever copied over (some Calendar entries were missing and others were duplicates). Checked the Apple Contacts and all of them were gone. But when I opened Outlook, everything was there and all OK.
So am I missing something? Turning on Sync Services in Outlook should sync all my Contacts and Calendar with my Blackberry when I use Blackberry Desktop Manager, correct? So why is it still syncing with the Apple Contacts and Calendar (and why did it delete all my Apple Contacts and mess up my Apple Calendar)?
Good thing I backed everything up first so restored everything. But I have all my updated Contacts and Calendar in Outlook and I still need to sync all of that. I don't want to manually do it. So how do I fix this??

After a bit of googling I think you mean the notation "domain\username", i.e., a backslash separator but no leading backslash.
I am not familiar with that notation but apparently it is valid in some contexts. I googled "os x "domain\username"" to confirm this notation. Here's one of the hits that shows the notation:

I think "DFS" is a distributed file system. That's as much as I know about this.

Help, anyone with an iphone wont show their name when i text them.

So my boyfriend and my mom, since I updated my phone their number up top when i text them has a 1+ in front of it. It also says Add Contact at the top next to edit, so I clicked on it and it says Add New or Add to Existing. I chose Add to Existing and it still wont show their name. I even tried deleting the 1 + and deleting the number under the contact without the 1+ and it still wont work. What do I do??

Make sure they are sending to your phone #, not your email address.

I bought an audiobook, but it wont show up in the audiobook section in the music app. When I go to the book in the search in ITunes, it says it is downloaded...but does not show up in the audiobooks section in my music app

If you pull down the centre of the iPad's homescreen (not from right at the top of the screen as that will open notifications) to open the search field, if you type in the name of the audiobook or the name of the author does that find it ?

I just purchased this movie on Thursday, May 15, so just a few days ago. I have never had any trouble whatsoever since I have been in Vietnam. I have downloaded several movies and even music and they have all synced to my respected Apple products except for this purchase.

IPhone 3G(S) wont show up in iTunes after installing Snow Leopard

I just installed Snow Leopard 10.6.3 yesterday and now when I plug in my iPhone 3G(S) it wont launch iTunes and wont show up in iTunes when I open it.
It launches and shows up in iPhoto with no problem?
Any hints on what to do?

This is now fixed after I installed the update to Snow Leopard 10.6.4
