Outlook2014 - Creating an appointment issue

Hi guys,
I am in an Enterprise environment and our email accounts are hosted by Microsoft on O365. We have a client who have recently received a new machine.
Previously the client was using Office 2010 and Outlook2010 and since he's received a new machine, he is now on Office 2013 & OUtlook2013.
The issue he is experiencing is that he is unable to create a new appointment or any appointment in a shared calendar. The shared mailbox/calendar was initially setup as a regular mailbox and i've tried changing it to a resource and it didn't make
a difference.
Errors: you don't have permsisiosn to create an entry in this folder
Details are as follow:
1) Client is an owner of the shared calendar.
2) I have removed and re-added him as an owner in Powershell. I have also changed his permissions level to publishing editor as some people have suggested on some forums to no avail.
3) He cannot check the Permissions Properties tab.
4) I have changed his permissions level in my Outlook from Owner to PUblishing Editor. The permissions change however upon applying it, it prompted me with an error.
5) Client is able to create calendar appointments in Outlook2010
6) Client is also able to create calendar appointments in OWA
7) Tried re-creating client's profile and it didn't make a difference.
8) Have also tried clearing offline cache in Outlook and also the Microsoft Only credentials in Credentials Manager.
9) He is able to access the calendar if I create a separate Outlook profile just to have access directly to the shared mailbox.
I am out of ideas. Any advise is welcome. If no one has any ideas, I will try logging a ticket with Microsoft Tech Support for further assistance. Thank you in advance.

If there is, I don't know how. I moved to Apple products about a year ago and in general I love them, but they just don't do some of the most basic of things, this being one of them. At the end of the day Microsoft Office products are head and shoulders ahead of the game.

When i google for the problem i always find howtos for .NET but nearly nothing for java

Most likely the library blocks the ports needed for sending and receiving mail. Check with them.

You can follow chapter "3.1 Maintaining Organizational Data Profile" from best practices' building block ['C23: CRM Basic Sales'|http://help.sap.com/bp_crm70/BBLibrary/HTML/C23_EN_DE.htm]. For "Organizational Model Determin. Rule" instead of a rule 10000166 enter 10000194. It will determine org. data from current user.
Also take a look in near settings. There you can define your own rule.

I found a PL/SQL API package PA_CONTROL_ITEMS_PUB
I searched for documentation about this API on metalink (ETRM + IREP) as well as the "Projects APIs, Client Extensions, and Open Interfaces" manual - without any luck.
I'd like documentation examples on how to call it. Anybody used it?

That is the correct API, but I have never seen any documentation. I would avoid it for R12 based on Metalink Doc 7018312. Maybe OK in R12.1?
I'm often amazed at how much work goes into the Projects API's, yet so much goes undocumented!

IF you need any other details while creating the appointment try to keep a break point in CRM_ORDER_MAINTAIN FM and debug while creating your appointment and check the import parameters of the   CRM_ORDER_MAINTAIN_MULTI_OW in that FM as Shobith suggested.

You can create a variant and schedule it to run; for example at 10:00 pm every night.
You need to explore this more but this t-code is the main answer.

When time zone support is on even when I am on Jerusalem, when i create an appointment the time zone for the appointment is immediately changed to Gaza and even when I change it manually it returns to Gaza.

I have a 4s iPhone on IOS 6.0.1 with an Israeli Cellular provider.
I use Gmail services an exchange to sync my colander contacts and mail.
When the time zone support is set to ON in the Settings->mail, Contacts, Calendars->Time Zone Support
The time zone is showing Jerusalem (I am located in Tel-Aviv)
When I create a new Appointment, It Immediately changes the time zone of the appointment to Gaza.
Even if I change it back to Jerusalem it changes back to Gaza every time.
Only when the time zone support is set to OFF in the Settings->mail, Contacts, Calendars->Time Zone Support
The time zone in Gmail is ok and does not appear on the iPhone. (This is ok)
Dose any one know how do I make the iPhone not change the time zone to Gaza? And still keep the time zone support on?

they are not always on the same time due to daytime saving time changes twice a year in Israel which are not syncronized with any changes in Gaza, Beirut, etc.

IPad Air - photo auto created in gallery issue

Not sure if anyone found this issue before, the identical photo has been auto created in gallery (iPad Air 7.1.1) many times. I never took the photo myself. it just looks like it came from the internet but I never saved. I wonder if this is a bug and how should i do to solve the issue. Many thanks in advance !!

It also takes time for the photos to be transferred out of your iPhone and into Photo stream on Apple's iCloud servers.
Note that this can't happen if your iPhone is not connected to a WiFi network:
When you enable My Photo Stream on your devices, all new photos you take or import to those devices will be automatically added to your photo stream.
iOS devices: New photos you take are automatically uploaded to your photo stream when you leave the Camera app and are connected to Wi-Fi. My Photo Stream does not push photos over cellular connections.
Macs: Any new photos you import to iPhoto or Aperture begin uploading automatically when you have a Wi-Fi or Ethernet connection. Or you can change your iPhoto or Aperture preferences so that only photos you manually add to My Photo Stream are uploaded.
PC with iCloud Control Panel 2.0 or later: Open a Windows Explorer window and under Favorites select iCloud Photos if you are using iCloud Control Panel 3.0 (or Photo Stream if you are using 2.0 to 2.1.2). Open My Photo Stream. Click the "Add photos" button. Select the photos to import to My Photo Stream, then click Open.

BAPI_ADDRCONTPART_SAVEREPLICA Create contact person issue

Dear SAP Gurus,
I'm coding a RFC for create customer with contact person. I used BAPI_PARTNEREMPLOYEE_GETINTNUM and BAPI_ADDRCONTPART_SAVEREPLICA in order to create the contact person for the corresponding customer.
The process is
1. get customer number by BAPI
2. create customer by BDC
3. create contact person
The issue is
The BAPI is successfully called, and the address data is into the table, eg. ADRC.
But in Tcode XD03 contact person view, I can not find the contact person information for this customer.
Could you please kindly advise?
BTW, the BAPI input parameters are all correct I think, I also did the test in SE37

Microsoft outlook recurring appointment issue on iphone

In Outlook 2007 or Outlook 2010, when creating a new recurring calendar event on the 2nd weekday of every month, the dates come out wrong on the iphone (event is shifted on iphone to 1st weekday of the first full week of the month)
Is there any fix for this?

I started to see this problem a couple of weeks ago. Until then for a few months I had not have any issue.
I found a solution here. The problem in your case is likely the sync between Outlook and Exchange Server.

When I tried to sync Deleted Items folder, I found it was not synching, and found large deleted email (20MB) probably stuck. I manually deleted it, then started synchronizing.
Now, deleted mail on Outlook is automatically deleted on my iPhone!! :-)

Issue with create user and issue with Java Development tab

I have two issues with EP,
1. When i login with Super Admin user, i am unable to Create any user from User Admin tab. Do i have to change the settings of the Super Admin? or is there any criteria for creating the user?
2. How to assign any user the Java Development tab. Though i login with a super admin user i am unable to see the Java Development role and when tried to assign the role, there were no searches for that Java....

by default the super administrater has got all permissions. Thus you should be able to create portal users when using a user assigned to the portal group Administrators.
In order to help you with your first question we need more information. Please describe the malfunction in detail. Have a look into the log files and post related error messages.
Regarding your second question: You will find the java development role in PCD
pcd:portal_content/com.sap.pct/platform_add_ons/com.sap.pct.pdk/Roles/com.sap.pct.pdk.JavaDeveloper.
If not, then you haven't installed the PDK business package in your portal.
Go to service.sap.com, choose downloads and search the package (PDK should do it). Download the package, and deploy on your portal using SDM.
