Output Couldnot be issued

Hi Guys,
I have created new page format and layout for invoice printing.
I can able to view the Print Preview of the invoice, but i couldnt able to print it.
While giving print, i got a message ' Output Could not be issued'.
Spool not get created for that. What could be the Problem ?

Hi,
that means normally that you have an error in the layout of your form or in the processing of the data at runtime, which does not happen in the print preview because of not processing the data.
I suggest that you download the code (SmartForms or AdobeForms) or copy your form (SAPscript), so that you can locate the error. You do this by deleting windows step by step till you get the form printed out. When this happens, then you have found the location of the error and you can analyze the problem.

Hello,
This is something to do with the settings.
However, if you want to check the Print Preview then simply use this T-code SP02 and in the Type...you can find a Document...try to DOuble click on It.
You can access your print Privew.
This will fix the issue....
If you still have any issues to access yoru Print Preview then please let me know.

Creating output type for issuing print

hello friends
can anybody tell me the process or steps to create output type to issue print

HI.
Goto NACE transaction.
Select the application for whch you want to create the output type. For ex. select v3 for invoice.
Click on 'Output Types' button on application toolbar.
Click on 'New Entries'.
Click on Processing Routines on the left-side to enter the driver program and SAPscript/Smartform name.

SMARTFORMS: 'OUTPUT CANNOT BE ISSUED error

Hi,
I have designed a smartform for Delivery document. One of the delivery has 700 lines of Packing for 1 single line item. When I execute this delivery, the output is not displayed The error message is "the output could not be issued".
In debug mode I find that it is giving error in function module SSFCOMP_WRITE_TEXT for the 518th line of the packing list. The data in this line is similar to previous lines and there does not seem to be anything different in this line. The function module is returning sy-subrc = 2.
if i reduce the packings to 517lines, then the document gets printed correctly. Otherwise it gives an error.
I need to display the line item alongwith the entire packing lines.

Hi Shilpa,
First don't run thro the program.
u just activate the smartform and then execute the Smartform. then u see the exception. the error belongs to window size is not enough space to write the text. Maybe it is overlapping the other windows.
So correct the window size then u run thro the program.
Otherwise it is related to Alignment problem. That means check margins and positions.

The procedure allows for the header and data to go to seperate files if required. Just specifying the "header" filename will put the header and data in the one file.
Adapt to output different datatypes and styles are required (this is currently coded for VARCHAR2, NUMBER and DATE)

EDI/ALE output Post Goods Issue from ME2O

Dear experts,
I have to create an outbound IDoc (I assume MBGMCR03) of a Goods issue done with ME2O (mvt type 541).
So far I have read through:

but they all talk about printing the message - I need to create an IDoc.
In NACE:
- Application "ME"
- but which condition record can I choose?
- output types are all set up with print parameters - no EDI/ALE as far as I can see. Do I have to create new ones?
Can you please help on how to set this up in NACE?
Next step would be MN21 for the output condition record I assume,
WE20 to define output for logical system.

I am a little further now.
I used output condition WA01 which is already set up in NACE and in MN23 I set up:
In SP01 I can see the created Spool entries after creating the Good issue with ME2O. So the print out would work. But I need an EDI output....
I created a new output condition ZWA1 in NACE and set "Processing routines" to EDI.
I set "Partner functions" to EDI and LS - logical system.
In MN23 I have:
I set Event Type to "WA" because when I look at a material document in MB03 it also shows WA:
In WE20 I have my LS - logicals system and set up the output for MBGMCR03:
What confuses me is: I have to send the EDI output to a LS - logical system. But in MN23 I can't set the LS - it gives error: "You cannot enter a partner function for output ZWA1"
No IDoc is created so far - please help. Thank you.

Email Output - Subject Line issue.

Hi,
I have an issue in changing the subject line of the billing output which goes as an email whenever newly created. I want to incorporate the subject line of the email as "ABCD Invoice for SO number '12345678' for Customer 'Customer Name' ". Here the SO number & Customer Name varies for diffenrent Billing document.
I can do this change to some extend in NACE Transaction but unable to bring the Customer Name in the subject line.
Can anyone please tell how this can be done?

I don't believe this is feasible with the standard output program, but you should be able to do this if you create a custom (Z) version and make that modification there. Not sure if it's worth it, but that's for your business users to decide.

RoboHelp 9 Crashing on Generating Output (hyperlinked pdf issue?)

I have had RoboHelp 9 consistently crash (without warning) when trying to generate ANY type of output. I was evaluating a trial version (which has since expired). I could consistently and successfully generate the exact same content without any issue when using RoboHelp 8 on another computer and it would appear that the crashes related to updating hyperlinked pdf's. None of the suggested fixes solved this issue on my system (i.e.http://forums.adobe.com/thread/796237?tstart=0)
While Adobe contacted me twice by telephone during the evaluation phase to gauge my interest in purchasing TCS 3 I received no response whatsoever to my request for assistance in resolving this issue. The person with whom I spoke has not responded to my queries. Now my trial is expired so I can't do anything further but I would like to hear if any other people have had this issue and what they had to do to resolve it.
The ability to update hyperlinked pdf's is essential for my project and I would like to upgrade (I really am a proponent of the TCS workflow) but, in its current state, TCS 3 is unuseable for me.

...ta-da! And here I am, at Peter's behest.
You situation with the PDFs is exactly what happened with me, although I had the advantage of Adobe tech support to actually be able to isolate the specific ogre PDF files. They suggested I rename/delete them and I did and everything compiled smoothly. Like you, these PDFs worked just fine in RH8, but choked RH9.
I then tried a different tact and went back to the source files and reprinted them with Acrobat 9 (I think they'd originally been printed with Acrobat 6 or so), and the project compiled just fine.
I understand you don't have the source files, but here is a suggestion that mightwork: open your PDFs with Acrobat 9 or X and either "Save as..." a new file or go to the Advanced menu and click PDF Optimizer... (maybe try both methods). I think either would have a similar effect to reprinting the source files and would "fix" whatever it was that's choking your project.
Let us know if that works.

Please check it out,is there any standard requirement is there for your scenario,if it is not there as ABAP people to write one requirement in VOFM and assign to this condition type.

Output type message issue

Hi experts,
I got an issue regarding po's output message related one
here is issue : In my production system some messages(NEU) type are deleted manually (in me22n).
next day to the same PO's NEU type message is sent to vendor with out physical trigger and with out any changes made to that PO's.
PO message settings : output type : purchase order(VN) , medium EDI ,date/dispatch time 4 ,send with periodically scheduled job
program : RSNAST00 job name : RSNAST00 ( i found it from tbtcp table)
here i want to track out why it was happening. I am abap developer.
where would be the problem is happening.my functional was saying that it was due to the job process which triggers program"RSNAST00 " in background.he was asking to check the current settings of that job process.
Even i tried to debug the RSNAST00 program. still i didn't found any solution for that .
here one more problem is : it was triggering output next day itself.my functional is asking to find out that from where it was extracting date and time to send output.
why it was sending output next day .why not it on that day itself.

Hi
If output is sent through periodically scheduled job.Then output is sent as per the schedule.
For eg,
You have scheduled a job RSNAST00 for evey monday 9 am.
Then it will process the output every monday 9am irrespective of time and date of output in PO.
To send out put immediatley make date/dispatch time 1(Send immediatley).
Hence check the job for time,day or date scheduled make necessary changes if required.
Use SM36 tcode or you can find it is tbtcp table also.

Output type - LD03 issues

Hi friends,
I am having an issue with output type determination LD03 -packing slip. We are having three access sequences and condition tables. The condition records are also maintained.
Shipping point/ Route --- Printer A is assigned
Shipping Point/Delivery type---- Printer B is assigned
Shiiping point --- Printer C is assigned
When the shipping and route is 5000 and 0089 respectibely, the printer should be A. However the printer "C" is getting picked and printing there. What should be changed so that when the shipping point and route are 5000 and 0089 respectively. I have maintained a condition record with printed C. Why is the access sequence falling all the way to just shipping point???

Please check the delivery or sales order route is getting determined or not.
If the route is not gettting determine then the system will pick the condition record based on shipping point only.

Oracle Reports 11g output in pdf issue

We are upgrading Oracle Forms and Reports from 10g to 11g R2. After moving the reports to 11g, the report layout is completely garbled/broken when it is shown as PDF (opened with adobe reader XI and older versions).
desformat=pdf
destype=cache
Output in HTML format is showing correctly.
desformat=html shows up ok.
Server: AIX 6.1
Weblogic 10.3.6
Java SDK : 1.6
Oracle Database 11g Enterprise Edition Release 11.2.0.2.0 - 64bit Production
PL/SQL Release 11.2.0.2.0 – Production

Are you using Oracle Forms and Reports 11.1.2.1.0 (the latest version of Forms/Reports 11gR2)? If yes, there is a known bug in all platforms except Linux where there are PDF viewing issues with the reports. According to My Oracle Support (MOS) note 1522543.1, this note goes into greater detail about the bug. It mentions to download Patch 16046595 from MOS. Apply this patch to your WebLogic domain, and it should fix the problem. When downloading the patch, make sure you are downloading the one for AIX as there are specific versions of the patch just for Solaris and Windows.
Before installing this patch (or installing any Oracle patch), I would do the following:
1. Review the README file which is included in the patch download.
2. Make a backup of your Middleware home.
To install the patch:
1. Download and unzip the patch into the filesystem. Let the extracted patch location be called PATCH_TOP.
2. Shutdown all WebLogic servers and instances (OPMN).
3. Set the ORACLE_HOME variable to be the location where your Oracle home is for Forms and Reports.
4. Append the PATH variable to include $MW_HOME/oracle_common/OPatch
5. Go to $PATCH_TOP/16046595
6. Run: opatch apply (if that does not work, try ./opatch apply)
7. Type in 'y' when it asks you if the system is ready for patching.
8. When the patch is successfully installed, start up OPMN and your WebLogic servers.
9. Test the issue to see if the PDF report comes out like it should.

Output field length issue in OO ALV

I have an requirement to download ALV grid output into Excel but some of columns having more than 128 characters, as per standard SAP will not support so I have included one more button and I have written the below code.

Now my problem is some of field output value getting truncated(in excel) but it displayed in Grid output.
eg.
lt_final having one text field(Doc. Type description) and the length is 20, actually printing 17 characters but we are not defining the output length.
Can you please anyone faced the problem earlier? Basically the SAP version is R/3 4.7.

XML Report Excel Output exponential value issue

Hello All,
While working on XML Report we need to show output in excel format. One of the out put value is “00110E001”. but when displaying in excel is shows "1.00E+0" and default behavior of MS Excel is if the any number data contains “E” then excel will convert those records in exponential format. But our client required those data which are present in database i.e. “00110E001”.
Kindly share your valuable inputs.

You are making number as a string, by adding a character :) , so it will be displayed as string with space and not as number.
