I tried by searching but unable to find it. However I found out that you can assign output determination procedure in define account groups.
Please help me in finding the correct node or the t-codes for maintaining output procedure for output from customer master. Kindly note that I am looking in <b>SAP R/3 4.7</b> version.

Output proposal from the customer master record
IMG&#61664;SD&#61664;Basic fncs&#61664;Output&#61664;Output determination&#61664;Output proposal from the customer master record, Define output
In this option one creates output types, such as BA00 (order confirmation). After creating the output type, one assigns the output type to an output procedure, such as DB0001. After the assignment of the output types to the procedure, the output procedure is then assigned to the customer account group. This is a simple procedure and results in the output that is placed on the customer master record being copied into the sales document.

  • Output proposed  from customer master

    Hello SDN!
I could not find output info in customer master.
Can I check with you if output can be proposed from the customer master when creating a sales order?
Or the only way output is determined is from output determination procedure where customer code can be one of the key condition record fields?
    regards
    Ravi

    Hi,
Please go through the below Configuration process for Outputs
Output is a form of media from a business to one of its business partners. Ex: Printouts, Faxes, Telexes, E u2013 mails and Electronic Data Interchange (EDI). The Output determination component offers output functions for Sales, Shipping and Billing to help in manage sales transactions with our customers and within the organization.
Output can be sent to any of the partners defined in the document.
Outputs are usually in the form of order confirmations, delivery notes, invoices and shipping notifications. The output determination component offers output functions for sales, shipping transportation and billing to help in manage sales transactions with our customers and with in the organization.
We can create output. We can group output.Employers can send/receive output.
Output directly linked to the corresponding sales transaction Ex: Trough EDI.
System automatically proposes output for a sales and distribution document.
System uses condition technique to determine output.
We use output type to control how the output should be transmitted.
    Ex: Via EDI, be printed.
We can determine output for all kinds of objects in SAP u2013 SD. Ex: For sales activities sales documents delivery documents and billing documents.
We can determine output, we can process output, and we can send output.
SAP uses condition technique to determine output.Output types can be Inquiry, Quotation, Order confirmation, Shipping document, Billing document, etc.The output can be sent through transmission mediums.
Ex: Local printer, Fax, Telex, E u2013 mail, SAP inbox or even to SAP.
Output determination closely integrated with technical module as technical consultant prepares the output format in SAP script or smart forms.

  • Text Determination from Customer Master Central Text

    Hi Experts,
I have small query, i entered the text in Customer Master Data in xd02 in the General Data.It does not figure in the sales order in the Header
I entered the text in general data tab -Extras - Text .
Can you please answer this query.
    Regards
    Deepak

    Hi,
    That alone is not sufficient.
You should not only configure the text ID for central texts but also for sales document header.
    1. First you have to do the text id creation, text id assignment to procedure and procedure assignment to account group for customer master central texts. I think the text ID object is KNVV
    2. Second you have to go to Sales header in VOTXN and assign the same text ID to sales document header procedure
You have to ensure that in both steps, the  text ID should be assigned to the same access sequence.
Once these are done, you create the texts for a customer. Use this customer in a sales order, now you can see the texts getting copied in the sales document header.
Lemme know if you have any problem in this.

  • How to set up the output device in output determinatin with customer master

    Hi,
I am doing the output determination using customer master and not conditions technique.  Can anybody please let me know how to set up the output device . I have done the following:
    1)  assigned output determination procedure DB00001 to acct group 0001
    2)  added output type BA00 to customer master documents tab with print as the medium.
    3)  On creating a sales order and changing it its giving the message
BA00     515     No printer defined for output BA00
Please provide me with some suggestions , how to resolve this issue.
    thanx
    Jayant

    1. tcode V/30 -> check BA00 type -> goto  "print" tab -> what's set in the "print param." field?
    2. IMG ->SD -> basic functions -> output control -> define print parameters -> V1 output -> for BA00 output type -> Assign a default printer. This is related with the "print param." set in step 1.
For example: if "print parame." is set to '1' in V/30, then the default printer is assigned to sales organization.
You can check F4 search help on the "print param." field (in V/30) to see what options you have.
If you want to specify printer by customer account, you may need to use userexit.

  • Output Determination from the Customer Master Record

    Dear All,
Can anybody please help me out with the configuration level settings for output proposal from the customer master record.
    Thanks
    Deepak Joshi

    Hi there,
Can you pls let me know from where did you get the information that O/p can be triggered from customer master records? & in what scenarios you can trigger them?
My experience in SAP tells me that O/p can only be truggered through condition techique where you will assign the determination procedure to the sales doc type.
No where I have seen assigning the O/p determination procedure to something related to customer / customer types.
For the O/p to trigger you need to maintain condition master records. I hope you are not getting confused between condition records & customer master records.

  • How to Copy Sales Text Data from Customer Master to Sales Order.

I got these two fields in Customer Master.
I need these data to be copied from  Customer Master to sales order. But i am unable get these two in to sales order.
Steps which  I have done for Text Determination.
    1) Text Id in for Text Object KNA1
2)Placed Text Id  in Text Procedure  and assigned   this procedure to Customer Account Group.
    Could you please advice me
    Thanks in Advance.

    Text Control
In this IMG activity, you define the rules for text determination. You must carry out the following steps:
Select a text object and define the rules for text determination for this object. Text objects are, for example, the sales texts in the customer master record or the sales document header.
Define the permitted text types for every text object. If the text types contained in the standard SAP R/3 System are not sufficient, create new ones.
Define the access sequences. This way, you define how the SAP System should determine the texts for a text type.
Group the text types together in text determination procedures. The SAP System then proposes the text types from the procedure when you maintain a customer master record or a sales & distribution document. The search for the respective text is carried out using the access sequence which you have stored for each text type in the procedure.
Allocate the text determination procedures so that a procedure applies to the following criteria in each case:
    account group customer
    sales & distribution document type
    item category

  • Text from customer master to delivery header

    Hi Experts,
Here we have a requirement, Text what we maintain in the customer master (like Shipping point address) text need to be trigger at Delivery header,
    1) Is it possible in standard text determinaction or we need to go for any user exits?
    2) If we want to use user exits what are the user exits we have to copy the data from customer master to delivery header.
NOTE: Client doesnt want to use the text from sales order or scheduling agrements.
Please help me to fill the requirement .
    best regards,
    chiranjeevi

    Hi Chiranjeevi,
It is possible to achieve this with standard text determination procedure itself.
Goto transaction VOTXN and in the "Delivery --> Header" create a new access sequence with the Customer Master Text IDs (like the ID which contains the Shipping Point address) from which the text is to be selected. Once done, create or make use of an existing text determination procedure available under Delivery Header and then assign the access sequence to the Delivery Header Text ID into which the Customer Master text is to be copied. Maintain additional settings as necessary. This will ensure that the text from customer master is directly copied over to the delivery header.
There are many documents already available (search in Google) to explain the text determination process if you need help with the same.

  • Payment terms based on specific dist.channel, division and Plant but not from customer master.

    Dear All
    I have a requirement,
Generally payments terms from customer master will flow to sales order. but here my requirement is to get a different payment terms based on specific distribution channel, division, customer  and plant those are there in sales order but not from customer master. is there any user exit or functional module to fulfill this requirement, or any other suggestion appreciated.
    Thanks,
    Reddy

This Problem you can solve without user exit too.
The Customer master data itself can solve the problem.
You can maitain diffrent Payment Term as per the sales area (Dist.Ch+Div+S.org) of customer master.
and each sales are wise u can change the plant also.
You just need to set your logic with the combination of sales are and plant. And need to assign which payment term should determine to sales order.
If you are rasing sales order with X sales area relavent to that payment term will trigger.
Hope above logic will work, otherwise you can go with user exit.

  • Output types for customer master

    Vijay

  • How will i configure partner determination for customer master

how will i configure partner determination for customer master data.

    hi
    Check this
    BUSINESS PARTNERS AND PARTNER DETERMINATION
In the partner determination procedure you can determine whether partner functions can or should occur in a partner object (Customer Master, Sales Document, Item Category etc.) For each object, in which partner function can be created, you can define partner procedures. This also means that
    For Customer Master
    For Sales Documents
For Sales Documents and Billing Documents: for items
We can define our partner determination procedure for each of these levels as shown below. In Blue are given the ones wherein the Partner Procedures are assigned to the Partner Objects
    Customer Master Account Group
Sales Document Header Sales Document Type
Sales document Item Item Category in sales
    Delivery Delivery Type
    Billing Header Billing Type
    Billing Item Billing Type
    Sales Activity Sales Activity type
By assigning a procedure you determine for which account groups (for the customer master), which sales document types (for sales documents) and for which item categories this procedure would be valid.
In the partner determination procedure you can determine for each partner function
whether the partner function is an obligatory partner function
whether the partner function can be changed in the document
    BUSINESS PARTNER FUNCTION
By assigning a business partner function to a partner you can determine which functions the partner fulfils in the business process. Partner Functions are classified using partner type. The partner type represents the roles played by the business partner within the business transaction.
Following partner functions exist in the standard process of Sales and Distribution
    Partner Type Customer
Sold-to Party, Ship-to Party, Bill-to Party, Payer and Sold-to Party authorized to release against a contract. You can define the sold-to party authorized to release against a contract in the partner screen of a contract. This partner may only schedule orders with reference to this contract, even when he is not the sold-to party authorized against a contract.
    Partner Type Contact Person
Contact persons are natural persons whom you must contact at the customers for business processing (e.g. purchasers) Contact person can be created directly in customer master record.
    Partner Type Vendor
A forwarding agent is an example of a business partner on the credit side, who is included in a sales process. If you commission a particular forwarding agent for deliveries to a specific customer, you can define the forwarding agent in the customer master record as the partner.
The other possible partner functions on the credit side in the sale process are interpreters, auditors etc. The forwarding agent is an agent who performs transportation services. This includes organizing the shipment, delivery and receipt of the goods, arranging the carrier services and handling the customs issues.
    Partner Type Personnel
    Employee Responsible
    Sales Personnel
You can enter an employee from your firm as the person responsible:
In the Customer Master – If the employee is normally responsible for processing transactions with this customer.
In the Sales Document – If the employee is responsible for processing the Business Transaction.
STEP WISE PROCESS FOR PARTNER DETERMINATION PROCEDURE
Sales and Distribution->Basic Functions->Partner Determination->set Up Partner Determination->Set up Partner Determination for Customer Master.
First go to OVT0 – create customer account groups. Here you make new entries, click whether it is a one time customer, description. Also you can do the field selection here for general data, co. code data and sales area data.
Now go to IMG – logistics general – business partner – customers – control – define & assign customer number ranges define the number. Here you range that you want and assign it to your customer account group.
Now go to VOPA – here the selection will be on customer master, click on partner procedures, create the partner determination procedure. The following steps need to be done in partner determination area
Assign partner function to account group i.e SP,SH, BP, PY to account group (debit side ). Sales and Distribution->Basic Functions->Partner Determination->Assign Partner Functions on the debit side to account Groups.
    Then create Partner Determination Procedure.
Assign the Partner Determination Procedure to Partner Function.
Then finally assign the Partner Determination Procedure to acc group.
Important Points in Business Partners and Partner Determination Procedure
Partner relationship maintained/defined in the customer master is proposed automatically in the document header when you create a sales document.
In customizing we can decide whether several partners can be assigned to one partner function in the customer master.
In sales documents, the system is configured so that only one partner can be assigned to each partner function.
We can define partners at item level in the sales documents.
Business Partners that are defined at the header level however cannot be changed at the item level.
You can prohibit anyone from changing a partner that has already been entered in a sales document.
It is also possible to manually change or enter the address of a partner, such as the Ship-to Party. This change does not affect the master record.

  • Output conditions on Customer master

    Hi All,
Is it possible to maintain the Output conditions in the customer master ,Standard functionality can't be used is there any work around to maintain the output types in customer master.
    Thanks,
    Ananda

    Hi,
We can assign output determination to account group of customer. But i dont think it can dorectly be assigned to a particular customer directly,.
If you want to assign output determination to customer account group you can do it here
SPRO>Financial accounting>Account recievables and Account payables>Customer accounts>Master data>Preparations for Creating Customer Master Data>Define Account Groups with screen layout (Customers)
here select account group then go in to details here you can find the field Output determ.proc. under general data tab.
    Maintain Output determination process there.
    Thanks,

  • Payment card retrieved from customer master?

    hi gurus,
i am using payment card processing. i want to know why i can only manually input card type and no in sales order although i have maintained the information in customer master. can anyone kindly tell me how can i set to enable auto retrieving card type and no from cutomer master into sales order? thanks a lot.

    Hi Daniel,
i guess you havent missed any config and the payment card details wont copy to sales order by default. I am also working payment cards. Reason why it isnt set in config is, we may want to input a different card number at the time of sales order / or want to use two cards to authorize a sales order / or if one of the cards has expired or invalid then i want to input a second card info.
Still if you want to pull in the info from customer master you may check with userexit_field_modification.
let me know if you have more queries on payment cards.

  • Mapping Sales dist from customer master to 0SD_C01 infocube

    Dear All,
I have a requirment of mapping Sales Dist ( 0SALES_DIST )  from Customer Master ( 0CUST_SALES ) into report based on Infocube Billing Condition Value ( ZSD_C01 ) . i.e. report should show Sales dist data fro customer master and not from transaction data.
The infocube ( ZSD_C01 ) contains sold to party ( 0SOLD_TO ) which can not be mapped to 0CUST_SALES .
Is there any solution for this.

    Dear Alex ,
When I am doing remodeling to Add 0CUST_SALES in Customer Dimenssion and  using 1:1 maping with characteristics of 0SOLD_TO option . system is giving following error.
Characteristic 0SOLD_TO does not have all compoundings of 0CUST_SALES
Since 0CUST_SALES is compounded with Sales Area  remodeling doesn't work in spite of having all characteristics of Sales area in the infocube.
Is there any other way to replace the data.

I have a small doubt. If we want to transfer the mode of payment from customer master data to sales order, do we have to use Exit- MV45AFZZ.
Can't we transfer the data without the exit?

    Hi,
I have tested this in sand box.Thought the customer master is having payment method ( payer ) ,It is not copying from customer master to sales order but if you maintain manually in sales order ,it is copying into billing document level.FYI see below snap shot.
Note:If you want it from customer master into sales order, may be you need to take help of abaper on this.
