Output determination functionality in SAP QM for certificates

I did not worked on the output determination functionality in Quality certificates function of SAP. Can someone guide me thru that with a very brief on that subject.
Thanks
Vineeth

hi,
Output Determination is used to provide the output type for your certificate.
here few of the parameters like condition type, Sold to party, ship to party , Delievery item category and apllication type against which u want the Quality certificate.
U need to config all those things  SPRO--> Quality Management-> Quality Certificate---> Output determination and start your config according to ur requirement.

  • Automatic PO output Determination do not get trigger for SRM Classic impl

    Hello,
We have implemented SRM 7.0 classic scenarios. We have set up system in such a way that whatever user put in Preferred Supplier at Shopping cart while saving the shopping cart we convert it to Supplier partner type and once approved create PO in ERP system.
Things are working perfectly fine but the problem we are facing is Output determination. We have Vendor email address maintained in vendor master and placed Condition type in MN04 for vendor with Immediate output of email.
But whenever PO is being created that automatic output determination is not being triggered...
Could anyone please help what thing i am missing.
    Thanks
    Ritesh

    Hi,
Please check the created condition record in MN06 in all aspects i.e. partner fucntion name, Medium (5), Language, etc.
I believe  you have created the condition record with the combination of vendor/pur.org/document type.
Also check the Actual processing tab and general data is there any check box against Locked field.
    Thanks

  • Additional Functionality of SAP Cloud for Sales

I had a few questions regarding the range of functionality that the Cloud for Sales offers:
    1. Does the Cloud for Sales allow a sales rep in the field to look up certain eCommerce-related-data on a specific customer (ex: what products a customer has recently viewed online, what online shopping carts they've abandoned, what products are in their online wish list)?
    2. Does the Cloud for Sales have any "sales guidance" feature--essentially a set of product recommendations that a sales rep can use while meeting with a customer in the field?
    3. Can the Cloud for Sales be used to create and edit sales-related documents (ex: promotional materials, proposals, contracts, license agreements and RFPs)?

    1. Is supported via a project/custom integration with a ecommerce platform such as Hybris that would track this information. This work is not that difficult as there is already out of box customer master integration with Hybris and C4C as a starting point.
    2. The C4C deal finder app is one option. The other option is is RTOM integration which is out of box. You can setup RTOM which can serve up product offers in C4C
    3. The best option is to use Jam to do sales doc collaboration and authoring. Again there is also Jam integration which is out of box

I have seen in the SAP site that they are providing one SAP Certified LOGO to all the candidates who completed the certification. I have completed my SAP FICO certification in the month of Dec,2008. But still i did't get any LOGO from SAP. Could anybody tell me how to get that LOGO which can by used against my name. How they provide to the candidates normally.. is it through scan copy will send to me ?

    Hello,
Normally OSS ID will be received by SAP Education (local office) or SAP Education Partner, a bit late.
In may case, it has taken around 3 months from the date of certification. Since, I have applied directly for certification, they have sent the OSS ID card directly to my address itself. I think this is minimum time you must wait and then only you need to contact SAP for your OSS ID.

Also can i get any SAP document on this.

    Hi,
PO can be sent to using Outlook email or the Internal send within SAP.
    Message via E-Mail
    Use
You can send purchasing documents to a vendor by e-mail.
You can also send memos to an internal user from within the purchasing document, in which case the recipient can directly access the relevant document when processing the e-mail (executable mail).
    Prerequisites
    External Transmission
    Make the necessary Customizing settings
The SAP system is configured for the transmission of external mails.
The message determination facility has been set up in Customizing for Purchasing.
You have defined a communication strategy in Customizing under Messages Output Control -> Message Types -> Define Message Types for <Purchasing Document> -> Maintain Message Types for <Purchasing Document> on the Default Values tab page, so that if no e-mail address can be found, for example, the system sends a fax.
    The following information is necessary:
    1.Data
    2.Value
    3.Comment
    Message type:
    Communication strategy
    E.g. NEU
Choose a communication strategy or create a new one. Via the input help, you can branch to the maintenance function for communication strategies. Choose in the following window.
Enter the necessary data on the Default Values tab page on the detail screen for the message type ().
    Processing routines
    Medium
    Program
    FORM routine
    5 (external transmission)
    SAPF06P (e.g. for PO)
    ENTRY_NEU
The entries are identical to those of the print output.
    Partner roles
    E.g. external transmission/LF
    Maintain master data
Message records must have been created through master data maintenance (Purchasing menu). (See Creating Message Records)
Enter the necessary data u2013 for example, role LF (vendor), medium 5 (external transmission) and time spot 4 (send immediately upon saving).
SAP recommends that you work with time spot 4, so that the e-mails generated are sent immediately.
If you work with processing time spot 1 (send via periodically scheduled job), you must schedule the program RSNAST00 periodically for message output, so that messages are generated and e-mails sent.
An e-mail address is stored in the vendor master record.
An e-mail address is stored in the user master record.
Please note that you must also maintain an e-mail address for user IDs with which batch-jobs are carried out.
    Internal Transmission
    Make the necessary Customizing settings:
You have maintained the Customizing settings for Purchasing under Messages, Output Control -> Message Types ->Define Message Types for <Purchasing Document> -> Maintain Message Types for <Purchasing Document>.
    The following information is necessary:
    1.Data
    2.Value
    3.Comment
    Message type:
    Time-spot
    Transmission medium (output medium)
    Partner role
    E.g. MAIL
E.g. 4 (send immediately upon saving)
    7 (SAPoffice)
    MP (mail partner)
Enter the necessary data on the Default Values tab page on the detail screen for the message type ().
    Mail title and texts
    E.g. mail from purchase order
    Processing routines
    Medium
    Program
    FORM routine
    7 (SAPoffice)
    RSNASTSO
    SAPOFFICE_AUFRUF
    Partner roles
    E.g. SAPoffice/MP
    SAPoffice/LF
    Maintain master data
Message records must have been created for the message type MAIL through master data maintenance (Purchasing menu). (See Creating Message Records)
For more information on the internal and external transmission of e-mails, refer to the Basis documentation under Business Workplace (BC-SRV-GBT).
Further information on external transmission is available in the Basis documentation under SAPconnect and in the section External Sending in the SAP System.
    Activities
    External Transmission
If you have specified the processing time-spot 4 (send immediately upon saving), the system will immediately generate and transmit a message when you save the purchasing document.
If you have specified the processing time-spot 1 (send via periodically scheduled job), you must initiate the output of e-mails manually.
    Result
You see the documents generated in the SAP system under Office ->Work center -> Outbox -> Documents.
    Internal Transmission
On the message screen of the Purchasing application (e.g. in the purchase order), enter the message type, the medium (SAPoffice) and the role (MP = mail partner).
Choose Means of communication and enter your text on the following screen (<Purchasing document>: Send with note). Enter the useru2019s first and last names, for example, in the Recipient field.
    Executable mail
If you wish to insert a transaction (because you want the recipient to view a purchase order, for example), choose Goto -> Execution parameters. Enter the necessary data, such as execution type (T = transaction), execution element (ME22N = Change Purchase Order), execution system, and the SET/GET parameters (BES for purchase order).
    Result
If you have specified send immediately as the processing time-spot, the user will immediately receive a message or document when the purchase order is saved.
The user can view the message sent to him or her via Office -> Work center -> Inbox.
If the document in your inbox is an executable mail, you can click the right-hand mouse button and directly access the relevant purchase order, for example, via the menu thus displayed.
    Hope it works...
    Regards,
    Kiran

  • Steps for output determination

    Hi
Can any one give me steps for output determination
    Thanks
    Rajesh

    hi
    Output Determination Configuration
    Sales order confirmation
    1. Maintain output types (Transaction: V/30 or Sales & Distribution -> Basic Functions -> Output -> Output determination -> Output proposal using the condition technique -> Maintain output determination for sales document -> Maintain output types)
    1.1. Select and copy BA00 to ZA00
1.2. Access sequence 0003 (Sales org / customer). If one of these is not suitable then you need to maintain condition tables
1.3. Change Transm. Medium to 6 (EDI), partner function SP (Sold to), Time (4 = immediate)
1.4. Check access to conditions and check off multiple issuing
    1.5. Save
    2. Assign output determination procedure (Transaction V/47 or Sales & Distribution -> Basic Functions -> Output -> Output determination -> Output proposal using the condition technique -> Maintain output determination for sales document -> Assign output determination procedure)
2.1. Create a new entry for ZA00, medium 6, function SP and order confirmation.
    3. Maintain output determination procedure (Transaction V/32 or Sales & Distribution -> Basic Functions -> Output -> Output determination -> Output proposal using the condition technique -> Maintain output determination for sales document -> Maintain output determination procedure)
3.1. Check Assign output determination procedures -> Allocate sales document header (Transaction V/43) for the Output procedure being used for order OR and BA00 and you’ll find that it is linked to V10000
3.2. Select V10000 (Transaction v/32) and choose control
3.3. Add a new step for your new output type. Eg. Step 40 (Next Step in sequence), Counter, Type = ZA00 and requirement 22 (Requirement tells when the output is required to be fulfilled. Ie. After order confirmation, after goods issue, …)
    4. Create condition records (Menu path: Logistics -
    > Sales & Distribution -> Master data. Output -> Sales document – Create)
4.1. If required select the appropriate key combination (in this case the Sales org / customer relationship)
4.2. Enter the customer number (QWM000 in this case) and enter. The rest of the values should be read in except the partner number.
4.3. Enter the required partner number (QWM000 in this case). This is the partner that will be EDI’d the data. It is usefull when you have multiple SAP customers that need to send messages to 1 partner. Eg. All the Wal-Marts send their invoices to 1 office. You would then have a list of customers, relating to each Wal-Mart, pointing to 1 Wal-Mart partner that will receive all the EDI docs.
    Advance shipping notification
Similarly the output type was copied from LALE to ZALE and linked to partner QWM000
Based on when a delivery note is created (Transaction V/36)
    Invoice
Similarly the output type was copied from RD00 to ZD00 and linked to partner QWM000
Based on when a delivery goods issue is posted. (Transaction V/42)

  • Output Determination Procedure ME0001 for Material Movements

Output determination procedure ME0001 is used for inventory management output.  I know where it is maintained.  Where is this assigned in the IMG?  I can not find the assignment and am starting to think everyone has to use ME0001.

Found some SAP documentation on MM output management.
ME0001 "is a program constant and cannot be changed by the customer.".  New custom output types can be added to ME0001, but a custom procedure cannot be used.

  • Filtering Output Types during Output Determination (for Billing)

    Hi Gurus,
My requirement is to filter out a few output types at the time of output determination from the procedure so that performance can be improved. Can you point out the specific place I can code for this?
Is there some FM which is called for output determination,, which I can enhance for my requirement? Or any user exit that I can use for this? Please help!
    Regards,
    Rahul

    Hi Rahul,
In that case you gotta use a new requirement inside your procedure.
Go to Tx NACE, select your procedure and create a requirement rutine which compares the sales organization in your Z table. Using sy-subrc = 0 in case the query finds a value and sy-subrc = 4 if don't.
This way you can determine the output types according to your relation in your Z table.
Then use this requirement in all the output types of your procedure.
    I hope this helps
    Regards

  • Schedule Agreement Message Output Determination

    Hi Vishal
Can you give me some more details for Configuring the Schedule Agreement Output Determination in the same manner for which you have given for a PO.
    My scenerio:
Making a contract with a Vendor --> Maintain Source list --> Giving MRP indicator as 2 in the source list for that delivery --> Running MRP for that material --> Checking the Schedule lines are generated in the Stock/Req list --> Now the schedule lines should send message output to the vendor via EDI/Print.
So give the answer relevant to above situation.
points already awarded to the previous question.
    Thanks Vishal

    Hi,
    PO Output Determination
    Output of Purchase Order
    1. Condition Table
SPRO > Material Management> Purchasing -> Message -> Output Control->Condition Tables->Define Condition Table for Purchase Order
    Select:
    Purchasing Doc. Type,
    Purch. Organization,
    Vendor
    2. Access Sequences
SPRO -> Material Management-> Purchasing -> Message -> Output Control->Access Sequences->Define Condition Table for Purchase Order
    3. Message Type
SPRO -> Material Management-> Purchasing -> Message -> Output Control->Message Types->Define Message Type for Purchase Order
    4. Message Determination Schemas
    4.1. Message Determination Schemas
SPRO -> Material Management-> Purchasing -> Message -> Output Control->Message Schema->Define Message Schema for Purchase Order-> Maintain Message Determination Schema
4.2. Assign Schema to Purchase Order
SPRO -> Material Management-> Purchasing -> Message -> Output Control->Message Schema->Define Message Schema for Purchase Order-> Assign Schema to Purchase Order
    5. Partner Roles per Message Type
SPRO -> Material Management-> Purchasing -> Message -> Output Control-> Partner Roles per Message Type ->Define Partner Role for Purchase Order
    6. Condition Record
    Navigation Path: SAP Menu-> Logistics -> Material Management -> Purchasing-> Master data->Messages-> Purchase Order-> MN04-> Create
Now you create PO (ME21N) and save it. Go to ME22N and print the PO by giving output type.
    GR Output Determination
Instead of Purchase order use Scheduling agreement
    Output of GR
After setting table, access sequence and output type for GR,run MB02 transaction, enter material document number. Double click one line item and select messages. Separate screen will be opened to configure outputs. Give the required fields and save the document. Now Run MB90, you can take printout. Output Type: WE03 or WE01 or WE02

  • Vendor partner function is overriding my output determination for PO email

I'm trying to get a PO emailed to the user who created the PO based on purchasing group. I configured output determination so that a message is correctly getting generated -- in MN05 I've got the purchasing group tied to the VU (user responsible) partner function which specifies the SAP User.
My issue is that the PO is using the vendor (VN) partner function to pull in the vendor address which needs to appear on the PO form. So the system is always looking to the vendor's email for the output instead of my output determination message. Is there any way to disable this yet still use the vendor address for the PO form?
Note that everything is configured properly and I am receiving PO email based on the email in the vendor master. I'm trying to do the same using output determination instead.
    Thanks, Vlad

    Hi,
1.) got to transaction NACT, Select the Output type; say NEU, and then Select the Partner Function. You can change it as per your requirement for Ordering address, Vendor, Delivering plant.
2.) Yes you can use Vendor's address in the PO Form. For that you would need assistance from ABAP.

  • Output determination for partner function in PO

    Hi MM Gurus.....
<b>How to determine the out put type for a freight vendor in PO ?</b>
Business scenario : We have a regular vendor from whom we procure material. Also we have different freight vendor which we maintain in condition type for freight.
Now , I want two different output types to be generated for these two different vendor ?
I tried using partner functions, maintained condition records for both vendor with different condition type ..but , system determines the output for only regular vendor and not for freight vendor.
Can anyone please help me resolve this issue ?
    Many Thanks in Advance,
    Vidyadhar.

    Dear Vidhadhar,
    OUTPUT DETERMINATION:
Output is a form of media from business to one of its business partners. The output can be sent to any of the partners defined in the document. Outputs are usually in the form of Order Confirmations, Freight List, Delivery Notes, Invoices & Shipping Notifications. Determining form of output is output determination
Types of Output: Print Output, Fax, Telex, E-Mail & EDI (Electronic Data Interchange)
    PRINT OUTPUT:
SPRO- IMG- Basic Functions- Output Control- Output Determination- Output Det using Cond Tech- Output Det for Sales Documents & output det for billing documents.
Create Condition Table: select the field Sales Doc Type from field catalog & Save
Maintain Access Sequence: 4-digits code & description. Assign condition table to access sequence. Select Accesses line item and Go To Fields. Fields will display the fields we have selected in the condition table.
Give the same 4-digit code as given to acc seq to output type.
    You Can Maintain:
    Languages of Output
Partners (to whom we want to send output)
    Print Program- print specification
    Sap Script- layout
Assign Output Types to Partner Functions: go to new entries & assign your output type to partner functions.
Maintain Output Determination Procedure: Go to new entries & create your own 6-digit code with descp. Select the procedure & go to Control Data. Here mention the output type i.e. cond type & leave requirement and manual only columns as blank.
Determination Rule: link the 6-digit procedure code to doc types.
Create Condition Records: Select document type and click on Communication. Mention partner function, medium, time. Output device: LP01, Spool request Name, Suffix 2: order_confir & flag on print immediately.
Once you press enter you will come across 2 key combinations:
During output determination, the system determines the recipient of the output from the master record for the specified partner function. In this field, you can explicitly specify a recipient that will override the standard partner. There must also be a master record for the partner that is specified explicitly.
    Medium, Time & Language.
Order Type: Document Type, Partner Function (abbreviation), Partner, Medium, Time & Language.
Reward points if this is helpful.
    Regards,
    Naveen.

  • RED light in Output determination in VA02 for Custom SAP Script

    Hi,
Am trying to get Order Acknowledgement output from VA02 as a preview. We have custom Script, custom print prog. So, I went to VA02>Extras>Output>Header>Output.....but, here am seeing the associated OUTPUT TYPE ZB00 as RED light!!
So, pls. let me know that,
1 - Why am gettign RED light? Wht culd b the reasons?
2 - How to fix it to get it GREEN?

    Hi,
Did you try debugging the print program? Also check the output determination analysis.
Follow below path. Once you are in outputs edit screen...
    Select your output, menu=>Goto=>Determination analysis(or ctrl+f1).
Here you can see what went right and wrong for all the outputs allowed for that order. You can see there might be some routines which has not been satidfied. Check this analysis for your output and see what is wrong.
Condition records might also be missing. Check with your functional for this.
    Thanks,
    Vinod.

  • Output determination for Customer Account group - A brain teaser

At the place of configuration for Account groups, there is a field called Output Determination which has values like DB001, DB002 etc which says output for sold to, ship to and so on...
What is the purpose of maintaining output determination procedure at the account group level?
And also, where can i do the complete output determination for it? Like i could see Output determination for sales activities, sales documents, billing documents and shipping...But no where in the img screen, i found a place where i can configure these? Any ideas?

In SAP, we send different output types(read documents) for Inquiries, quotations, orders etc. to relevant partners (read contact persons) sold-to party, ship-to party etc. thru various transmission mediums like ex. Print, Fax, e-mail etc.
Output can be determined by using component output determination procedure. System should know from where the output is to be determined whether from IMG or from customer A/C group.  This is depended upon the control that we can activate or deactivate in "Check access for condition type" in definition of the output type (T.Code: NV03)
    Output Determination:
IMG > Sales and Distribution > Basic Functions > Output Control > Output Determination  Output Determination Using the Condition Technique > Maintain Output Determination for Sales activities/ Sales Documents etc.
