Output Determination / Partner Profile

I have a vendor with an LI Partner Profile setup in the system. Every time an invoice is posted against this vendor, I need the system to generate an IDOC for external transmission.
How do I setup the output determination to make this happen?
Thanks - points will be rewarded.

I just did changes with my access sequense, was using Sales Org/ShipTo/BillTo but just changed to Billing Type and it worked fine, I got my error.
Just one more question, I am doing this output via medium 6 and date 4 (send immediately) now since my output is founf in the billing doc and it is saving properly what is my next job to create the programme?
Please provide me the steps.
Thanks for your help !!!

  • Partner profile and partner number in output of order/invoice.

    Hello Experts,
I want to know how system pick partner profile from output type triggered in sales order/invoice??
I could see partner profile is different from partner number exist in output triggered in sales order/invoice.
I want to know the triggering point of idoc from SO/invoice.
    Thanks

The phrase "ouptut goes to partner" indicates that the partner will be recipient of the output type.  E.g., ship-to partner will be the recipient of the delivery and the delivery note.
The use of an output partner in the output condition record is used to control the output device used in the output determination - a completely separate issue.
Unless you are (e.g.) using different printers for outputs which will be sent to different partners, you would likely be better off using a more generic access for your output condition records.

  • Partner profile of output type equal LS (To a delivery)

    Hi,
I want to generate an idoc every time that a delivery is created on the basis of the condition (Shipping point=xxx, delivery type = yyy, loading point = zzz)
So I'm trying to define a logical system (One logical system by default) as partner profile to my output type.
So in transaction V/34, I put that the output type has to be a LS via EDI.
And in transaction VV21 I defined that the LS 'LSYS' has to be my partner by default.
But in my delivery. In the output type header, It's saying that my logical system 'LSYS' isn't a Partner.
What should I do in order to have a logical system as a partner in my delivery.
    Thanks in advance

You cannot have a LS as partner in a SD document.
You have to define a partenr definition for each ship-to you use in WE20, and set the right output message in it.
    reward points if helpful, pls.

  • Partner Profiles for EDI message output settings

    HI,
Iam creating Partner profiles settings for Message output through EDI.
While entering data for partner type Li Vendor.
Iam selecting User Type Organizastional Unit.
& while selecting Agent no information found.
Iam getting error as Object type O, ID 50010120 unknown (please observe upper/lower case)
How can i create Id for objects types. ( how can i create Agents)
    pls help
    Regards
    Sunil

What are you trying to do?
Agents in WE20 are used for post processing of failed IDoc's.
    You can use:
    Work center
    Job
    Organizational unit
    Person
    Position
    User
If you require agents, which type do you want - organisational unit?
If you do not require post processing options - use User with your ID.

  • Vendor partner function is overriding my output determination for PO email

I'm trying to get a PO emailed to the user who created the PO based on purchasing group. I configured output determination so that a message is correctly getting generated -- in MN05 I've got the purchasing group tied to the VU (user responsible) partner function which specifies the SAP User.
My issue is that the PO is using the vendor (VN) partner function to pull in the vendor address which needs to appear on the PO form. So the system is always looking to the vendor's email for the output instead of my output determination message. Is there any way to disable this yet still use the vendor address for the PO form?
Note that everything is configured properly and I am receiving PO email based on the email in the vendor master. I'm trying to do the same using output determination instead.
    Thanks, Vlad

    Hi,
1.) got to transaction NACT, Select the Output type; say NEU, and then Select the Partner Function. You can change it as per your requirement for Ordering address, Vendor, Delivering plant.
2.) Yes you can use Vendor's address in the PO Form. For that you would need assistance from ABAP.

  • Output determination for partner function in PO

    Hi MM Gurus.....
<b>How to determine the out put type for a freight vendor in PO ?</b>
Business scenario : We have a regular vendor from whom we procure material. Also we have different freight vendor which we maintain in condition type for freight.
Now , I want two different output types to be generated for these two different vendor ?
I tried using partner functions, maintained condition records for both vendor with different condition type ..but , system determines the output for only regular vendor and not for freight vendor.
Can anyone please help me resolve this issue ?
    Many Thanks in Advance,
    Vidyadhar.

    Dear Vidhadhar,
    OUTPUT DETERMINATION:
Output is a form of media from business to one of its business partners. The output can be sent to any of the partners defined in the document. Outputs are usually in the form of Order Confirmations, Freight List, Delivery Notes, Invoices & Shipping Notifications. Determining form of output is output determination
Types of Output: Print Output, Fax, Telex, E-Mail & EDI (Electronic Data Interchange)
    PRINT OUTPUT:
SPRO- IMG- Basic Functions- Output Control- Output Determination- Output Det using Cond Tech- Output Det for Sales Documents & output det for billing documents.
Create Condition Table: select the field Sales Doc Type from field catalog & Save
Maintain Access Sequence: 4-digits code & description. Assign condition table to access sequence. Select Accesses line item and Go To Fields. Fields will display the fields we have selected in the condition table.
Give the same 4-digit code as given to acc seq to output type.
    You Can Maintain:
    Languages of Output
Partners (to whom we want to send output)
    Print Program- print specification
    Sap Script- layout
Assign Output Types to Partner Functions: go to new entries & assign your output type to partner functions.
Maintain Output Determination Procedure: Go to new entries & create your own 6-digit code with descp. Select the procedure & go to Control Data. Here mention the output type i.e. cond type & leave requirement and manual only columns as blank.
Determination Rule: link the 6-digit procedure code to doc types.
Create Condition Records: Select document type and click on Communication. Mention partner function, medium, time. Output device: LP01, Spool request Name, Suffix 2: order_confir & flag on print immediately.
Once you press enter you will come across 2 key combinations:
During output determination, the system determines the recipient of the output from the master record for the specified partner function. In this field, you can explicitly specify a recipient that will override the standard partner. There must also be a master record for the partner that is specified explicitly.
    Medium, Time & Language.
Order Type: Document Type, Partner Function (abbreviation), Partner, Medium, Time & Language.
Reward points if this is helpful.

  • WE20 - partner profiles: inbound parameters - how to determine process code

Running standalone scenario on SRM 5.0.
First of all, it is not possible to "generate partner profiles" automatically in BD64 (distrubution model) in the backend system for message types:
BBPIV, BBPCP, ACC_GOODS_MOVEMENT, ACLPAY and MBGMCR.
    The following error is displayed:
    BBPCO
Inbound parameters for message type BBPCO could not be created
    Enter a valid process code
    etc.
When trying to create partner profiles manually in WE20, how do I determine the process codes for the different message types?

    Note 330401 - Process code does not exist f. BBPCO01, BBPIV01
    Solution
Check and if necessary, correct the following entries:
    1. Assign function module to message type
    Transaction WE57
    The following entries are required:
    Module IDOC_INPUT_BBP_IV IDOC_INPUT_BBP_ACC_PO
    Type F F
    Basic type BBPIV01 BBPCO01
    Msg type BBPIV BBPCO
    Direction 2 2
Object type BBPBUS2081 (not for Release 3.1)
Note that object type BBPBUS2081 is not defined in Release 3.1*. In
this case, the 'Object type' entry remains empty.
    2. Characteristics of inbound function modules
    Transaction BD51
    The following entries are required:
    Inbound FM IDOC_INPUT_BBP_IV IDOC_INPUT_BBP_ACC_PO
    Input type 1 1
    03.09.2008 Page 2 of 3
    Note 330401 - Process code does not exist f. BBPCO01, BBPIV01
    Dialog allowed No No
    3. Create the missing process code with Transaction WE42 (change inbound
process code). You can name the process code whatever you want. 'IV01'
    or 'CO01' are examples.
The entry should look like this:
    Process code IV01 (CO01)
    Description BBPIV (BBPCO) inbound invoice
Option ALE Processing with ALE service
Processing Type Processing by function module
Save the entry. You are then on the detail screen. Enter:
    Module (inbound)
    Function module
    IDOC_INPUT_BBP_IV (IDOC_INPUT_BBP_ACC_PO)
    Application object
    Object type
    BBPBUS2081 (- no entry -)
    4. Maintain the process code that has just been created in the partner
    profile for the logical system.
    Transaction WE20
    Partner type 'LS'

  • RDI partner profile determination

    Hi Experts,
we try to setup a raw data interface to several partners via IDOCs. Basically it works and
we can "print" data of a form marked with RDI Output mode = I to a Unix-File or to an
RFC-destination (via appropriate port definitions in the partner profiles).
But now we face the problem that an "RDI-form" is printed always to all partner profiles /
ports where in the corresponding distribution models the message SAPRDI is defined.
    Function Module MASTER_IDOC_DISTRIBUTE:
      SELECT * FROM TBD05 INTO TABLE GT_FTBD05-TBD05[]
                                 WHERE MESTYP = MESTYP.
      LOOP AT GT_FTBD05-TBD05 INTO WA_TBD05.
        IF   WA_TBD05-CUSTMODEL = SPACE
          OR WA_TBD05-SNDSYSTEM = SPACE
          OR WA_TBD05-RCVSYSTEM = SPACE
          OR WA_TBD05-MESTYP    = SPACE
          OR WA_TBD05-SNDSYSTEM = WA_TBD05-RCVSYSTEM.
          DELETE GT_FTBD05-TBD05.
        ENDIF.
      ENDLOOP.
How can we specify the only right partner profile / port (= destination)?
    Any help is very appreciated.
    Thank you in advance

    Hi,
Definition of parameters for the electronic interchange of data with a trading partner using the IDoc interface. To communicate with a partner using the IDoc interface, you must have a partner profile.
    Purpose:
You must maintain the partners with whom you communicate via IDocs in the partner profiles: choose the message to be sent to the partner and define the path to be used, as well as how inbound messages are processed.
    Prerequisites:
    ·  Master data must be available in the system for partners.
    ·  A port is also selected in the outbound partner profiles. This port must be configured already.
Just have a look at these links:

    Hello Prashant,
    You are missing some configuration for the partner function;
    Go- to
    SPRO>IMG>QM>Quality Notifications>Notification Creation>Partners>Define partner Determination Procedure>
Again Select "Define Partner Determination Procedure".
    Select Quality management> Change Partner
    Now Select Q2.
Compare settings with Partner Determination Procedure on any other client. Also check Partner functions on the same screen.

  • How system pick partner profile in order/invoice

    Hello Experts,
In invoice [VF03], I could see system determine output type RD00 and partner function BP so system is taking Bill to party from invoice and putting there. I checked the output condition record for that invoice [VV33] there there partner number is not assign to partner function BP. I understand this.
BUT my questing is, How system is picking partner profile to create the Idoc for that invoice??
Partner profile and Bill to party both are different.
How Idoc creating process start when we save sales order/ Invoice ???
I want to know the triggering point from where system start idoc creating for sales order/ invoice ???
    Thanks

INBOUND processing the IDOCs are transferred to the interface and stored in te SAP system. The document data is generated in the course of workflow.
In this section the SAP  system is made known to the upstream system (startrfc program parameters). Conversele, the upstream system is made known to the SAP System via the port definition.
INBOUND Processing - Create Function Module.
This function module is called when a message type, of the ZINVRV, comes into the receiving system.  This needs to be configured.  The function module is passed the IDOC as a parameter.
Use the T.code WE19 to test inbound function module in debugging mode.
Use the T.code EW05 to view the IDOCs and their statuses.

  • Output determination for Transfer Order(WMTORD)

    Hi Friends,
My Requirement is to send an idoc to an external warehouse when i save Transfer Order.
For that i have created a Partner Profile with message type WMTORD.
When i save the transfer Order if the warehouse number and storage type matches to specific numbers then it has to trigger the given partner profile..for this usually we will do output determination.
Please help in doing the output determination for the above case..i know normal output determination procedure from NACE transaction. But warehouse mangement it would be defferent.please help me,,
    Thanks a lot.

    Hello Ravi,
I would like to generate an outbound idoc (using Message Determination/Control)  when a delivery is created (via tcode VL01N).  I created a Partner Profile with message type WMTORD.
In setting up the Partner Profile: Outbound Parameters, I didn't find a standard SAP Process Code.   Did you find one, if so, what would that be?
(I've found process code WMT1 but it is for inbound.)
    Thanks in advance,

  • Output Determination For Posted Invoice

When an invoice is posted against a purchase order I need the system to create an IDOC for external transmission.
I already have a partner profile setup for the external party (vendor). How do I go about setting up the output determination?
Thanks - points will be rewarded.

    Hello, Brian
To setup the Output determination for Invoice Verification, follow the steps:
You can configure these settings through t.code: NACE
    or  NACT
By specifying the Application: MR  (this is for INVOICE)
Select -> Application MR  -> Press Output types
then -> Select your Output type
(choose LIEF, if Output is for  External Vendor).
    -> goto Details
    then
-> choose the relevent fields in Default values Tab (i.e, mainly Dispatch TimeTransmission medium Ex: 5-External send and 6-EDI similarly Partner function Ex: VN-Vendor,etc )
    then
    -> Processing routines
    -> Partner functions
Suggestion: You can use NACE or NACT (either)
    Hope this will clarifies you,
    Reward, if it helps,
    Regards,

  • Output determination in Create/Change.

    HI Gurus,
How can I diifrentiate whether Sales order is created or changed in output determination, I'm sending data to XI through a custom IDOC. I want to send different data for creation of order and Change of Order how can I handle this.
Where should I andle this in a driver program.
              Imeediate soultion awaited.Thanks.
    Kind Regards,
    Suresh

    Hello Suresh,
    1. You can track it using sy-tcode and check whether it is VA01 or VA02.
    2. Other way is you can check in the Idoc Message type and your Partner profile configuration.Under the Message control, you can find a check box, which would tell you whether you should trigger your idoc on create or change. If it is unchecked, it would send on create and if checked, it will send during change mode.
    Thanks!

  • Output determination for invoices

    Hi,
I have tried using output determination to automatically output an INVOIC02 IDoc when I create one manually in MIRO. I have set up the partner profile and condition records OK, such that a message entry automatically appears when I create the invoice with the vendor in the condition record. I have set it to process immediately. When I save the invoice, no IDoc gets created (I have done something similar for POs and that works OK). I have even tried using program RSNAST00 to kick it off, but that doesn't do anything either. Why not?
Useful answers will be rewarded. Many thanks in advance,
    Peter

    Hi Rakesh,
I have set it to process immediately. The processing status is yellow after I have saved the invoice as well. Does this suggest that the config is right but something is not triggering the Idoc? MIRO does not allow me to process the message after I have posted the invoice.
