  • Output device DKRDSP029 is locked in the SAP system - RFC error

    Hi,
    One user of the system has got the following error when he is loading his "Change Office and communication" iView in the portal. This is the SAP standard DK used iView!
    No one else has this error in the system as far as we know and the DKRDSP029 is a printer. I had no idea that a printer was connected to this information but apparently there is.
    Does anyone has any input to what the problem actually is?
    Thanks :-)...

    Please check if this user has any default output device configured in the corresponding backend system. (from SU01)
    If the printer/output device configured for this user is DKRDSP029, there might be a problem with the printer setup.
    You can try and change the printer to a different one if required.

  • Output device locl is locked by R/3

    Hi Gurus,
    can anybody tell me how to unlock the printer in SPAD?
    Thanks in advance.
    Thanks & Regards,
    Lata Borannavar

    Hi Lata,
    Best solution will be resetting the output device by the basis guys.
    Normally all the output devices are stored in table-SSFPP and in the field - TDDEST.
    So go to Sm12 and see if table is locked then remove lock there itself.
    If you are not having authorization to SM12 write program using function ENQUEUE_E_TABLE
    call function 'ENQUEUE_E_TABLE'
    exporting
    tabname = 'SSFPP'
    varkey = varkey
    exceptions
    foreign_lock = 1
    system_failure = 2
    others = 3
    Cheers!!

  • "No audio output device is installed" on Satellite C655D-5120 running Windows 7 64-bit

    Ever since I installed Windows 7 Professional 64-bit on my C655D-5120 laptop, I keep getting the message "no audio output device is installed." I have tried all the suggestions I have been able to find on the internet to install any audio output device to correct this situation but without any success whatsoever. If I go to Control Panel and click on Device Manager, there is no entry for "Sound...." so there is nothing to delete there to start things over again. So, does anyone have some new suggestion that I should try?

    To answer your question, it's a rather long story. I bought the computer used and already out of warranty more than two years ago and sent it to the Philippines with my son to give to a friend there. Because it did not get forwarded, it just sat unplugged for a very long time, likely more than a year. When I suggested that my son plug it in, he informed me that the battery had failed, the keyboard was unreliable, and there might be problems with the hard drive. So when I visited the Philippines in March, I took along a newly purchased battery, a newly purchased keyboard, and a spare hard drive that I already had. In the process of swapping out the keyboard, something slipped and it broke loose the on/off power socket from the motherboard. So I just brought it back to California in April. When I could not repair it myself, I took it back to the man from whom I bought it. He discovered that there was something else seriously wrong with the motherboard and replaced it and the entire lower half of the case, which it turns out was not an exact replacement. The trade unanticipatedly converted my C655D-S5120 to a C655-S5082. When I attempted to boot the computer, it kept asking me for the HDD password, which I had never set or changed and therefore was unknown to me. What caused this to happen I do not know, unless it was because the internal battery completely discharged. Internet research convinced me that this locked HDD was now trash, and I replaced it with a spare WD HDD that had been previously wiped clean, loaded a new installation of Windows 7 64-bit onto it, and started using it again. All research I have done since then and the multiple attempts I have tried indicate that this C655 has no functioning hardware audio device installed and therefore trying to load an audio driver is futile. Not knowing the history of the C655-S5082 replacement definitely complicates things. I have resigned myself to using it without any audio capability. (It is not my only computer.) Because I am severely hearing impaired (I'll be 78 later this year), functional audio is not particularly necessary anyway. So I believe that this case can now be considered closed, even though not to my complete satisfaction.

  • Help, no sound, no sound output devices

    Hi all,
    I tried this over in the Tiger section with little help. About a week ago I told my grand-daughter she could plug her iPod headphones into the headphone jack on the the front of the G4. Now, I have no sound at all except for through the headphones and only the headphones show up as an output device. I have tried trashing the "com.apple.soundpref.plist" and rebooting thinking that the OS would creat a new one during startup but that didnt work (there was TWO of them in there). I also tried trashing "com.apple.audio.AudioMIDISetup.plist" but that didnt help either. I put them both back where I found them later. Those files both belong in library-preferences right? I tried zapping the Pram but having no sound I didnt get a "bong" I just listened for it to rev-up twice, still no change. I also tried the PMU reset switch. I can change the volume level with no effect except for the headphones and the sound is not muted.
    System Profiler does not recognize apple pro speakers that are plugged in, I do have sound sticks to try but they are boxed up in the garage.
    So I am wondering if the phone jack got messed up by the iPod plug, a hardware issue, or does this seem to be software related problem? I did an archive & install today with still no sound so now I am thinking that the plug is messed up inside and still thinks the headphones are plugged in.
    Does anyone out there have any advice to offer?
    I am going to do surgery next to explore the headphone jack and the tiny speaker above it.

    Slimtech,
    I don't have a solution for this, but maybe some comments might help a bit...
    com.apple.soundpref.plist and com.apple.audio.DeviceSettings.plist should be at /Library/Preferences.
    com.apple.audio.AudioMIDISetup.plist should be at ~/Library/Preferences.
    The "Audio (Built In)" section under System Profiler for my QS G4 shows no attached devices, but merely shows information about the sound card itself, with three generic outputs listed as "Internal Speaker, External Speaker, and Headphones".
    Normally, you should get a startup Chime from your internal speaker even with headphones plugged in, unless perhaps the sound setting is on Mute at shutdown, which sometimes will affect/mute the startup chime at the next startup.
    I would think that if the Mac thought that the headphone were still plugged in after removal, your Sound Preference Pane Output window would indicate this. If the Headphones appear in the Output window when plugged in, then disappear when removed (refresh the window by clicking another Tab then going back to the Output Tab), the System obviously recognizes their removal. Apparently, it doesn't recognize the internal speaker that it's supposed to switch back to though, for reasons unknown to me.
    You might try vigorously and repeatedly plugging/unplugging the headphone plug into the headphone jack, which helped clean up the jack and restore the sound on my G3 some time back.
    Sorry I couldn't be of more help.

  • Help Please!! no audio output device installed?

    Hi. I have a satellite A215-S4757 last night I installed some windows updats  went to bed because it was going to take awhile. When I got it had finished and was in sleep mode. When I turned it on I noticed the sound was on mute. Or I thought it was. When I attempted to turn the sound on I recieved the message "No audio output device installed". I updated BIOs 2.30 but that didnt work. If anyone could help me out I would greatly appreciate it!
    Thanks

    Try this!  Looks like you have Realtek audio.  I was having the same problem until I installed the updated Realtek driver directly from Realtek site.
    As many users have posted, I was having this problem with my Satellite L505-S5990. I tried most of the suggestions I could find here and on the 'net to no avail. I was surprised to see that this problem affected many laptop brands - even as far back as Windows XP!!
    Last week I think I finally found the answer (or at least Realtek did). My laptop has Realtek HD audio, and the drivers that came with laptop seemed to be the culprit. I checked the Realtek site last week, and they have an updated driver, dated 3/30/2010, for Windows 7 as well as other versions of Windows. It is Version 2.46.
    I downloaded and installed these drivers, switched back to going into sleep mode rather than hibernate and - so far - the computer wakes from sleep with sound intact!!!
    Hopefully these drivers will work for others.

  • Audio icon in upper right menu disappears and there is no sound Went to Apple preferences which says there is no output device. I can't figure out what to do. Help!

    There is a sound icon in the upper right menu which disappears and reappears. When it disappears there is no sound. Went to Apple preferences for sound preferences. When the sound icon is off, this page is not active. Says "mute" is activated and that there is no output device. Cannot fix this problem. How do I retrieve the sound icon and get sound back?

    Hi Ronnie, anything in particular going on when this happens?
    Long shot, but...
    Next time it happens... Open Audio Midi Setup in Applications>Utilities, see the input & output options & KHz setting there, some things will change it for their own use, then not set it back

  • How can I get my audio input and output devices back? I have no sound and cannot see any of the devices in Audio MIDI Setup..??

    Hi, I tried to set up a new output audio device on my mac that would have multiple outputs (iBox Twist speaker and my internal speaker) but when I went to click onto one of the iBox Twist (there were 2 options available: iBox Twist and iBox Twist Stereo), Audio MIDI Setup crashed and when I finally got that back open, I found that there were no audio input or output devices to be found. My sound is working, as when I turn on my iMac, the starting sound still plays, however the volume control in the menu bar is no longer a black colour, but grey and when I try to change the sound on my keyboard it does not change. This already happened to me once, and after 3 hours I managed to fix it very simply (switching off Mac, unplugging power cord, leaving for 15 seconds, plug power cord back in and switch Mac back on, holding Alt, Cmd, P and R keys until you hear the Starting Up sound twice) however this same technique that fixed it once before is not working this time and I am still stuck without sound. I have tried Repair Permissions, rebooting in Safe Mode, Hardware Test and checking for Software Updates. Has anyone else had this problem and managed to fix it?
    Thanks in advance for any help anyone can give me!

    In case anyone has had the same problem as me, I have just managed to fix this by doing the following:
    Switch off Mac
    Switch back on in Safe Mode (Hit power button, then hold Shift key until a loading bar appears at the bottom of the screen).
    Switch off Mac again
    Remove power cord and wait 15 seconds
    Plug power cord back in and hold down the keys alt, cmd, p, r all at the same time until you hear Starting chime for a second time and hopefully your audio will back.

    Is there a test report that will print a page so I can check if the output device is working OK and printing like it should? 'Could not turn on Screen mirroring. The output device is not ready or does not support HDCP'. can anybody able to tell how can I resolve this please?

    Have you checked if your device does support HDCP? I looked at https://www.iezvu.com/ezcast.php?l=en but i'm afraid i can't find any detailed specification for it.
    If you have unlocked your bootloader this may also be the cause for this issue.
