Output format of product ID

Hi! In my client's system, the length of the product ID in ECC is set at 6 characters but set at 18 characters in SRM. As at current, they have not replicated any materials to SRM. Now, they are considering direct material procurement in SRM. Would it be an issue if I leave it as it is and not change the length to 6 characters in SRM? The 'Save Lexicographically' indicator is not set.
What happens if I change to 6 chars in SRM and then in the future they extended the length in ECC to for example 8 characters?
Appreciate clarification on the above.
Thanks
SF

Hi Guys,
Output format ist set in ECC6.0  to 10 and "lexicographic". Flag for leading zeros is not activ. Do we need to set in SRM the output format to 10 as well?
How is the expected system behaviour in SRM as the flag lexicographic forces the the setting for "leading zeros" BUT this setting is not availble in ERP.
Scalability of product-ID:
If in future we extend the Output Format in ERP, how is the system behaviour would look like in SRM? How much effort would this mean to follow on ERP-Format?
Thank you very much for any quick response(s)

  • Output Format of Product Number

    Hi,
This is pertaining to issue with Product Number, I am CIFing numeric product.
I am trying to CIF 8 digit Product code from ECC to APO and its getting CIFed as 18 digit code in /SAPAPO/MATMAP table in Extnr Material Number field, while displaying MAT1 its showing as only 8 digit.
I then changed the settings to Field length 18 and activated the lexicographical check in spro in produt master data and also the same setting in OMSL transaction code.
But when I activate the CIF queue with this setting it gives me an error that Product field length is less.
I then changed the spro setting and configured the lenghth as 40 and in OMSL its 18, now the product is getting CIFed with leading zeroes and is also displayed with leading zeroes.
My requirement is that the produt should get CIFed as 8 digit and should also be diaplayed in the table as 8 digit.
Can someone please tell me what should be the setting in spro and OMSL transaction so that their are no leading zeroes displayed and also in SAP table its not stored with leading zeroes.
When I create the product directly in APO their are no leading zeroes in table and display.
    Thanks & Regards,
    Sanjog mishrikotkar

    Hi Sanjog,
The following are the settings where the output format of a
    product number will be maintained
In R/3, the lexicographic setting will be done in spro>logistics-general>
material master>basic settings>define output format of material numbers.
In APO, it is done at spro>APO>Master data>Product>specify output format
    of product numbers.
Hope this will resolve your issue.
    Please confirm

  • Is any difference in the CDR output format of CUCM version 6.1.5 and 7.1.5?

    Hello,
Customer has a CUCM 6.1.5 cluster which is getting upgraded to 7.1.5. currently the CUCM CDR is sent to a external system (performix) which generates required reports. I would like to know if there is any difference in the CDR output format of CUCM version 6.1.5 and 7.1.5/ its vital to confirm this prior to upgrade as the performix is managed by a different vendor.
    Please advise !

You can review the CDR documentation here to find that out, most likely there might be some changes

What video output formats does C7 produce?
    Does it produce AVI?
We might upgrade at our school if it does.
    Thanks

    Hi Missteach,
I am Sorry but Adobe Captivate 7 doesn't Publish .AVI format .

  • Help deciding best output format and workflow to obtain it.

I’ve volunteered to create a class video for my son’s school.  The majority of my source footage (~80%) is DV NTSC 720x480i 16:9 29.97 fps shot on a Sony DSR-PDX10.  The remainder consists of 1920x1080p 59.941 fps, 1280x720p 119.89 fps, and 1280x720p 59.941 fps, all shot with a GoPro 3.  I need to deliver the final product on discs to the students/parents, though I can be flexible as to whether it is SD DVD or HD Blu-Ray.  I have Adobe CS6 Production Premium suite of applications and I’m not opposed to purchasing other products/add-ons in the couple of hundred dollar range if they’d be of a significant help.
I’m trying to figure out what output format would give the best quality and the workflow to achieve it.  I’ve been perusing the internet looking for help, but it has gotten a bit overwhelming and there doesn’t seem to be a definitive answer out there.
I’m wondering since most of my footage is 720x480i, should that be my output format and just down-convert or crop the HD footage.  Or since most folks will be viewing on HDTV’s (which would up-convert an SD-DVD anyhow), should my output format be HD and should I up-convert the SD footage myself.  In any case, when and how should I do the up/down converting, interlacing/de-interlacing, and converting to/from square/non-square pixels (before importing into Premiere, on the timeline, with 3rd party converters, on export or in Encore with AME, etc).
Any advice or suggestions would be most certainly appreciated.

If most of the footage is SD, I'd just make the call to work SD and go out to DVD. You shouldn't have too much of an issue using the GoPro footage on an SD timeline I don't think. Just keep an eye on your frame edges and scale up if the PAR mixing is introducing any letter/pillarboxing.
But I wouldn't export out in DV AVI format for your final export. DV AVI is quite lossy. Sure, most of your footage is already DV, but if you're adding any titles they'll get really gunked up. Instead, go directly out of Premiere into your DVD formats (MPEG2-DVD with NTSC DV Wide preset).

  • F110 DME Output Format

I am using DME in F110 to generate my output.
The output format is not correct.
Ideally, each segment (that was created in DMEE) should start on a new line in the output.
    But, the segments appear sequentially.
    For example:
FH00 Record Type, Product #, Client ID etc..BH00 Record Type Location # etc...
I want BH00 to start from a new line so it looks like this:
FH00 Record Type, Product Code, Client ID etc..
BH00 Record Type Location Code etc...
    What do I do?
I believe I have to use the carriage return functionalit but dunno how.
I tried inserting empty segments in DME format tree for generating CR/LF
    But that didn't work out.
    Any suggestions?
    Thanks for your time
    Vj

    Hi Ashokkumar:
I left the Fmt-spec.strct field blank, entered all the other values, but I still can't get the segments in the output to start from a new line.
For segment properties/values, under "End of Segment" I selected "Define Different Settings For This Segment" and checked on "Carriage Return"
    Still doesn't work out.
Is there anything else I am missing?
    Any suggestions?

Thanks for your response. But i could not understand how can we write wrapper program could you please give some light on this or provide some link it would be helpful for me:-)

  • Changing Oracle Report Output Format at runtime

    Dear All,
I've custom Oracle Report in Oracle Apps., and would like to give the users an option to select the output format (XML, TEXT, PDF, etc.) whilst submitting the request.
As a SYSADMIN, we can modify the Output Format value of the concurrent program(Oracle Report in this case) to one we like.
But I would like the user to select this output format option at runtime, rather then hard coding at SYSADMIN level. For that I've to create a Value Set with the desired report output format options, and attach this to the concurrent program.
My question is, how we can make the desired output format to work at runtime?
    If any one can help?
    Thanks,
    Sandeep

    Hi Steve,
    I couldn't get it...???
I'm running an Oracle Report in Oracle Apps. release 11.5.9
The default output format of this report is TEXT, which is defined in its concurrent program.
This report is submitted using standard request submission screen, and after successful completion we can view the output by pressing "View Output" button on "Requests" screen. This will open an another window and we can view the output page by page. Using "Tools>Copy File..." menu option, we can view the same output in IE window.
Now, how does your resolution fits here and how can I view the same report in XML format?
    Many Thanks,
    Sandeep

  • Output format in background is not same as Foreground

I am running a report in Background but output is not coming in desired format. Suppose output contains 35 columns ( while running the report in Foreground) but in doesn't show all the columns in background. Is there any SAP Standard settings by which we can set the output format as per our requirement while running the job in background.

    Thanx Sourabh for your reply,
I have check the variant , it is correct. It's a common problem that end users are facing in my organization.
What I want that if standard output has width of 35 columns ( in foreground ), it must show all the columns in background also.

  • Tutorials in SWF output format prompted "Do you trust this content to connect to the Internet?" when opening another SWF file

    Please help.
I have a tutorial with in the output format of SWF and HTM. I have click boxes that On Success will open another tutorial (SWF file). When I click on the click box, I get prompted “Do you trust this content to connect to the Internet?” by the Adobe Flash Player. I can click “Yes” and continue, however I don’t want the user to get prompted for every click box with this action (there is one for every tutorial and navigation buttons to each tutorial). I also think that SCORM can't handle the prompt, because when I run the tutorial from the LMS the click boxes do not work at all.
I have tried selecting “Always allow” in the Global Security Settings panel as per the instruction on this website: http://www.macromedia.com/support/documentation/en/flashplayer/help/settings_manager04.htm l.
    Any ideas?

    Hi,
I wanted to add on a question to this posting.... I believe Rod's instructions must be followed on a per-PC basis, correct? Is there any way to disable this globally when/after I publish the files rather than telling 1000 users across the globe that they have to change their security settings? I don't think so from the article (very thorough) but just hoping there's something I can do?!
    Thank you!

    Hello QM Functional Experts,
Can any of you tell me how we can add a custom "Output Format" in the Certificate Profile (QC01/2/3). I tried the Configuration approach via QM-Quality Certificates-Certificate Profile-Define Data Origin. I do not see an option here to add a New Output Format.
