Output of Non-released PO

Has anyone used a different form or output for a "draft" purchase order, one that is not yet released? We want to use this for the print preview of a non-released purchase order.

No standard function allow Non-released PO output as i know, maybe you can ask your ABAPER create a customize form meet your requirment.

How to exclude non-released items in the COLLECTION_COPY_ALL service call?

I am using IdcCommand to copy all content items from one folder to another folder (archives folder) on every day.

But this service also copies the unreleased/unpublished work-items from the workflow with dCollectionPath=/Contribution Folders/folderA/. How can I exclude the non-released items in the COLLECTION_COPY_ALL service call?

You can certainly use dynamic values in Archiver, as the import map value fields are Idoc scriptable - it's just not openly obvious to do this. AV output and non-standard frame sizes

I usually work in non-standard frame size for my FCP projects because my final output will be in a 2:35:1 ratio. I use a Blackmagic Ultrastudio Mini Monitor as an HDMI output to a client monitor. Up until a few months ago the AV output of FCPX would allow the Mini Monitor to accept a frame size of 1920x818 and letterbox the output to 16x9 on this consumer grade LCD. One day, this just stopped working... I've reached out to Blackmagic and they have no solution or reason why this happened, and are not willing to offer support since what I was achieving wasn't an "officially supported" feature. Now, the AV output will distort the image vertically to fill a 16x9 frame. At this point I am stuck having to use either a matte layer or a widescreen effect on individual clips to output correctly to my monitor which increases edit time having to re-render any edits underneath the matte and having to re-order the letterbox effect after apply color correction etc. It was also very easy to adjust the frame offset with this wide angle project size.
Is anyone editing in 2:35:1 (or other cinema standard) projects and getting successful conversion on output? What are you using?

Thanks Tom, you clarified it ....... or at least something clicked in my brain.
I was trying to set "Custom" when I created the new project.
I didn't know, or had forgotten, that in the "error" window I could select "Custom".
All is now well and FCP X 10.1.1 is pretty clever after all!
There is one weird thing I'd like to mention.
When I clicked on "Custom" the 960 x 600 frame dimensions appeared but the frame rate was listed as 23.98p as shown in the screenshot below.
So what's wrong with that?
Well the clip is 30p and I naturally thought I was going to end up with a project with an incorrect frame rate.
Now here's the funny thing ......... when I selected the project and viewed it in the Inspector it was the correct 30p
So why was I given that worrying piece of misinformation.

Generation of Output after Final release of Purchase Order

When a PO is subject to release procedure the output for the PO is only generated and sent when the PO has been finally approved. I would like to know is this sap standard internal feature or do we need to configure it.
If it is standard then can some throw light on what happens on background?
If it needs customization please let me know the customization details?

Out put of the PO is something to do with the Release Indicator assigned for each state of release of the document.This indicator if is blocked state of a PO it prevents from outputing the message .If the indicator has the status Released by way of releasing by the concerned user than the same can be outputed.
If the PO is subject to a release strategy, it must normally be released before it can be transmitted to the vendor. Therefore, when a PO is created, it is assigned a release indicator that blocks it from being outputted in message form.
This I think is a standard behaviour of the system.

Xml output for non-built-in types generated by autotype

I created a wsdl and used the autotype and wsdl2service ant tasks to generate
java files.
As part of my service, I want to log output in xml format of the data received.
I can write my own serialization, or use the code that was generated by autotype.
I would rather not write my own. I want to use the code generated by wsdl2service.
Trouble is I can not find a javadoc nor a sample code segment that shows how!
Call me dense, but I've spent several hours on BEA web pages looking for answers.
This is what I found, but I could not get to work for various reasons:
XML streaming: I have a codec (generated by autotype ant task), but it requires
a SerializationContext. Where do I get a Serialization Context? I think serialize
is a callout from WS and not for applicaiton code to call.
javax.xml.rpc.encoding.Serializer: An object of this type is made available by
AbstractCodec (base class of generated code, but how is this class used?

Sample 4 tells me that there is no code generated that I can use to write out
my non-built-in datatype to xml. For each of my non-built-in datatypes, I will
have to hand write such code, or use a handler.

Printing of non released purchase orders in ME9F

Dear Friends,
In the standard ME9F transaction we need to print the purchase orders which are not released. But that standard transaction is displaying only the purchase orders which are released. Is there any way to display the purchase orders which are not released in the ME9F output?

Access method U (berkeley protocol) would require a printer server which we do not want.
We defined a new device, LOCM that has the procedure M (email to receiver/owner). Ideally, this would send an email with a PDF copy of the purchase order. However, in the spool request the receiver is ALWAYS defined as WF-BATCH. Even if the PO creator is a different user ID, the receiver would be user WF-BATCH still.
Does anyone have an idea how to remove the receiver part in the spool request attributes? Or simply replace that with the owner of the spool?

Output before po release

                             Our PO execute the Release function of std SAP,but now we can't output for print before release.
                     On the other hand,after the po has been released and outputed,we can't cancel it also...
                     Is there any solution to can output for print whether the po is release or not, and we can cancel release

"As of Release 4.6, the message records are already visible in the
message overview in case of blocked documents.
However, for all documents it is valid that the message output can only
occur if the purchasing document has been successfully released."
IIn a standard system, if I tried to print an unreleased PO in ME9F, then
the system has generated the error message ME260 : No suitable purchasing documents found.
It is only possible to print from the print preview if you are using smartforms. You can do a MODIFICATION in program /SMB40/FM06PE02, in subroutine set_print_param....   SAP would not support you with any kind of subsequent problems.

Enabling "view source" on a debug (non-release) build

Hi All,
Is there a way I can enable the "view source" context menu option for my Flex app when it is built in debug mode? I know I can export a release build and enable it from there, but I want that option to be on for my debug modes as well. That allows other any developer in our organization to simply right click on an app running in our development environment and see the source that the app was built with.

So if I understand things correctly, it's always safe to perform catastrophic recovery, but it could take longer than non-catastrophic? Will _FATAL ever cause the application to lose data?
I'm not sure I understand the notion of checking whether recovery is required -- I have been thinking of recovery as the process of getting data back from the .db and log files. If you don't do recovery, you don't get your data back, so it's always required, right?
Assuming we can get data back without performing recovery in some cases, is it reasonable to do this:
1) Try open() with DB_REGISTER | DB_FAILCHECK
2) If 1) fails, try DB_REGISTER | DB_RECOVER
3) If 2) fails, try DB_RECOVER_FATAL
Regarding the cause of failure: the release / debug build was one issue that intersected with our recovery processes, but in general, release / debug build experiments aside, recovery has proven inconsistent for us. When our servers (i.e. the hosts) undergo routine restarts, recovery is generally solid. When the process dies unexpectedly during the day, it fails to recover (apparently without a specific cause) around one in five times (my guess).
We can't reliably reproduce the failure to recover, but in one instance we observed that recovery failed; after removing all files aside from the *.db files and the transaction logs, recovery succeeded. Is it prudent to remove these files (e.g. __db.00*, __db.register) as a matter of routine on/before startup?

Max & Min function coerces Min output to non-typedef

I have noticed a minor issue that I think is a bug. It is illustrated below in the snippet:
When using the function in "Compare Elements" mode, the Min output is changed to a non-typedef. When in Compare Aggregates mode, it remains a typedef. I can't think of any reason this would be intentional. It is only a minor issue since the coercion would not be a big performance loss. The output values are correct - which is the important thing!

I know what the deal is. I'm on a PC with Win7 newly installed. When I drag the snippet to the desktop, it gives me Windows security dialog asking if I want to allow the file to be copied. I say yes and it copies. When I drag the snippet directly to the block diagram, it doesn't ask me anything. Just gives a red X.
So it is tight security that I never had to deal with under WinXP. That or I managed to free it up and don't remember how. I don't know if it is because it is Win7, or if it is because of IE8 being on a freshly installed PC. Now I'll go hunt down how to free up the security.
I found it. And it seemed vaguely familiar, so I may have used it in the past. I add to uncheck Enable Protected Mode in the IE8 options menu. I also found another setting

Database tables holding details for a non - released transport request

We are implementing SAP ECC 6.0 u2013 ABAP stack, on IBM iSeries / System i, i5/OS V5R4 -
SAP kernel release 7.00, kernel patch number 173
Could someone please guide me to the database tables holding the details for a non u2013 released transport request.
The problem is the following :
We encountered some data corruption in the database of our development system, so we did a restore from the previous day's backup (RSTLIB command) for the database library : R3DEVDATA, without restoring the /usr/sap/trans directory, then we did an APYJRNCHG command for the journal receiver spanning from the previous day's backup until the corruption time (remote journal on a remote system.)
We are now facing the following conflict :
One of our programmers is now un-capable of updating an ABAP program, which he previously added in a transport request, which he did not release.
( This was done during the day of the data corruption)
When the programmer is trying to update the ABAP program through the ABAP workbench, he receives the error :
'Request lock on non u2013 existent task / request DEVK921426'
No details for the transport request DEVK921426 exist in either of the two directories :
/usr/sap/trans/data , /usr/sap/trans/cofiles
The way I see to solve this conflict (eliminate this lock) is to delete the different entries related to the un-released transport request from the database tables.
Any clues would be highly appreciated.

Database package that allow remote writing output to non-database server

Do you have any suggestion that perform similar function as utl_file that generate PL/SQL output to a directory (but I want to write the output to a non-database which utl_file cannot achieve). The reason I 'm asking because I want to find out alternative way to take out utl_file function to a non-database server to reduce the loading of db server.

In that case, you need to create a file share on your DB server and create the file on the same.

How to output only non-existing values

If I have a table say Employee and has values for EmployeeNum as 1111, 2222, 3333 and I have a query like this. SELECT EMPLOYEENUM FROM EMPLOYEE WHERE EMPLOYEENUM IN (4444, 66666, 1111)
Now, this will only return 1111. But, I want to find out values that are not in the table. So, I want to output 4444, 66666.
How can this be done. Please suggest?
