Output power?

Hi, Couple of questions:
Can anyone explain why I can connect via my browser yet unable to ping the same website and is this output power correct.

not all web site servers can be pinged try bbc.co..uk
as to the power levels it is a known reporting error and nothing to worry about

  • MuVo2 (1,5G): Can I Use output power only (not install the battery) when I listen the mus

    Hi Sir:
When I am in home and listen the music on MuVo2 ,can I use output power only (AC power) and remove the battery ( the battery is not in the MuVo2)?
This is good to the MuVo2 or not ? (have any damange?)
Because I always use the MuVo2 in my home, I think to charge AC into the battery, and use it until in low battery , then charge again.. It seem to a little stupid....
Can I use AC(output power) only when I listen the music ? and remove the AC(output power) when I close/shut down the MuVo2 ? ( I know , the usermanual say it is not good to MuVo2 if AC(output power) "always on" the MuVo2 even it's shutdown.)
I saw in the usermanual there will be a little image indicate the MuVo2 is "output power only".... So can I use output power only or not ? Is it good to MuVo2?
    Thanks a lot !!
    ( Your product is great~!)

    Richard,
Yes, you can use the player on the AC outlet only if you want, that's fine.

  • How to reduce Hub 3 output POWER?

I use my laptop in the same room (~5m) as the router and wondered if there was a way of reducing the output power from the Hub 3 antenna, which has a range of ~40m?  I have two young children in the room and am concerned about wi-fi signal levels.  A colleague mentioned that he can reduce the output power of his APPLE router easily.  Is there a similar option for the Hub 3 BT product?  I realise that if I do not have the laptop switched on, i.e. no activity, then the power level drops automatically, which is a great feature.  Thanks,  Fred.

There is no facility to reduce power apart from the power save option which turns the WiFi off.
The maximum power allowed by WiFi is 100mW (100 milliwatts) which is very small. If you are concerned about WiFi, then it would be better to turn it off, and connect to your laptop using an Ethernet cable.
You can extend the Ethernet port of the hub by using Powerline adapters. Which use the mains wiring to carry the data.

  • WAP321-E-K9/max RF output power of 802.11a?

Does the WAP 321-E-K9 (as 5GHZ frequency) supports the 802.11a?
If yes, please specify exactly the output power transmission in dBm?
Is it possible to have the 5GHZ frequency that not support the 802.11a? Because in the technical sheet of the WAP 321-E-K9 there is no specifications about the output power transmission (dBm) of the 802.11a standards ( only 802.11b/n/g are specified) ?

    Hi commercial7,
    I hope this helps:
From the product documentation on the WAP321-E-K9 it appears that the WAP only supports 802.11b/g/n protocols. 802.11a (5GHz) is a legacy protocol that was outdated with the release of 802.11n (2.4/5GHz). While WAPs that use 802.11n are backwards compatible (support 802.11a/b/g devices), WAPs that use 802.11a won't support devices that use newer protocols.
    According to the WAP321 Wireless-N documentation, transmitted output power: 802.11n @ HT20HT40, MCS15: 13 dBm
Also according to the WAP321 Wireless-N documentation, receiver sensitivity: 802.11n: 300 Mbps @ -64 dBm. Since 802.11n should support 802.11a, you may want to check the hardware specifics for the 802.11a device you are trying to connect with.

    Hi,
This is Marcus from Application Engineering at National Instruments.  I have reviewed over your math and you are correct in your calculations.  To determine the power output of your PXI-5422 you will have to know the Vpp which you are using and also the load that you will be connecting to the device.  These factors will then determine the power output of your PXI-5422.

  • HH v2.0 output power

Just a quick question.  Today was migrated to 21CN.  When I was on the old 8Mb service I notice3d that the output power on the HH was usually between 16dBm and 17dBm, but since the migration to 21CN I notice that the output power is 0.0dBm, this is on the down, but on the up it is the same as before.  I have tried different HH's and still the same result.  What should the output power be?

your stats look ok and a better connection speed than before even with the 3db increase in attenuation.  now in the 10 day training period so need to leave router connected 24/7 with no manual resets

  • How to reduce output power

    Hi guys,
I have a 2 yr old extreme base station. And I am using the most upadated aiport utility. I can't find the option to reduce the output power. Am i missing something? Or has apple decided to take that option away...
    Thansk for your help.

Unfortunately, Apple dropped a number of options and features when they "upgraded" AirPort Utility in the Lion operating system.
If you are still using OS X 10.7.4, fortunately you can download and install AirPort Utility 5.6 for Mac OS X Lion and use this version of the utility to get those features back.
Keep both AirPort Utility 6.1 and 5.6 on your Mac and use the one that you want.

  • Designing variable output power supply

    hi
could anyone  help me out in designing variable output power supply ?
as i am new to this please post the circuit and also the step by step procedures in developing the circuit.

The link below has an example of a variable power supply.

You can try to find the components in Multisim by right-clicking and going to Place Component. You can look through the database and place them on the schematic and then wire them as shown in the schematic.

I live in a rural area and dont expect super fast speeds but for the last 2 years I have had a stable 2.5mb connection.  But for the last 4 days now I have been unable to sync any higher then 600kbps. I have not changed anything at my end.  Looking at the output power, is this not insanely low? and any ideas how I change it.

  • IPod's Output Power?

Can't find any info about iPod's (Nano and Touch) output power (in mW).
    Please, help!

I don't believe Apple makes that information available, but it is safe to say the output power is very low, probably around 30 to 100 mW at most. Just as important, the output is almost certainly optimized for headphones like Apple's own earbuds, so you won't get much power for loads much greater than 32 ohms nominal impedance.
Also, FWIW Apple hasn't been noted for providing a particularly high quality headphone amplifier signal path in older iPods but it may be paying more attention to this in newer designs. At one point, only the Shuffle featured a direct coupled output, which produced noticeably better bass response (cleaner, tighter sound, not just more bass), but now seems to be moving away from the inferior capacitively coupled output on at least some other models.

  • Ipod nano output power

where can I find the output power of my ipod nano 2nd generation? I've googled it but no luck... The apple site has lots of specifications about the iPods but no output power for the nanos (old or new)
