    Hi SRM-Experts,
    System: SRM 550
    Scenario: ECS
We receive the following popup-message while using the PO output preview functionality in SRM (TX BBP_POC): "Global data missing for purchase order".
I found out that the error occurs during determination of  company address of the purchase group. The error is raising in FM "BBP_OUTPUT_COMPANY_FROM_EKGR". The FM is looking for the user attribute (PPOMA) "COMPANY", but for the Purchase Group is no company flag maintained (TAB: Function in PPOMA).
Has anybody an idea how I can fix this issue?

  • Smartforms - problems with output preview when vedor has different languag

    Hi all,
The output preview does not work when vendor has different communication language then english?
Exact description of the problem described by the functional people:
"For the Latin America countries that use the SMARTFORM today, we have noticed that if the vendor has ‘communication language’ English, the PO is displayed fine in the ‘Output preview’ in iShop. However, if the vendor has communication language e.g. ES maintained in the vendor the output preview fails. We would like to have it so that even if the the vendor has a different communication language than EN maintained on the vendor the PO should be able to be displayed in the ‘output preview’ of the SRM system."
So has enyone encountered this problem before? All help is appriciated!
    Thanks in advance!
    /Armin

Well the problem was that the language pack with Sapnish language was not installed.
Thanks for the answer 2p 2u!

  • Output Preview & Pages Scrolling

    Hi!
When i turn on/off any ink in Output Preview, this window become active and i can't scroll document with keys "Page Up", "Page Down".
    How to solve this problem?

Correct, in Acrobat 7 the focus did not change. However there have been a lot of changes to the functionality of the dialog itself, especially in Acrobat 9, it's possible something there has required this focus change. However currently we need to change the focus ourselves in order to scroll through the files in the way you describe.
There's also a bug report form if you want to report this directly to Adobe http://www.adobe.com/cfusion/mmform/index.cfm?name=wishform

  • PPF: Output Preview

    Hi Guys!
We're using ECS. When Local POs are printed SRM finds the correct smartform.
We configured country specific "Action Definitions" and use "Condition-Depending Document Output" with transportable conditions.
But in Tcode BBP_POC (Proces Purchase Order) the Output Preview always displays SAP Standard Form BBP_PO instead of country specific Smartform.
Do we have to use BAdi BBP_CHANGE_SF_VERS to adjust this system behavior?
    Rgds.
    Dieter

    Hello,
I am also facing the same issue.
    We followed the below process
    1) Created new action definitions in 'Define Actions for Purchase Order Output'.
    2) Define the processing types (for email / Print / Fax). Provide the smartform name
    3) Schedule actions for action definitions in 'Condition-Dependent Purchase Order Output'.
    4) In the Schedule condition, check the Requestor Address - Country key to match the different country keys corresponding to PO smartforms.
Kindly suggest if you have followed the same steps. Please suggest if you have a better solution.
    Cheers,

  • In [Process Bid Invitation], How to customize button[Output Preview]

    Hi,Guys
Now, I need to display the window created by  my own SMARTFORM,while I push the button [Output Preview] .
    How to customize?
    Thank you.

    Hi,
Create your own smartform via trx SMARTFORM.
Then implement BADI BBP_CHG_SF_BID to switch from the standard smartform
calling to the custom one. Just specify the custom smartform name in the BADI
    and activate the BADI.
Please ensure, this Standard Smartform - BBP_BIDINV_BID gets called here.... Depending on your SRM System version
    Please try this Sample code.
    codemethod IF_EX_BBP_CHANGE_SF_BID~CHANGE_SMARTFORM .
    IF SMARTFORM = 'BBP_BIDINV_BID'. " Standard Smartform
SMARTFORM = 'ZBBP_BIDINV_BID'. " Call your Customer Smart form
    endmethod.[/code]

  • Automate Output Preview

I would like to automate the error-prone process of selecting a Simulation Profile in Output Preview (including simulating black ink) in preparation for printing (where we select "Apply output preview settings").
Is there a way to somehow automate this process? I'm finding documentation on the Print dialog side of things, but so far I'm drawing a blank on how to automate activation of Output Preview and select the appropriate settings (from Javascript or anything else).
    Thanks!
    Tony

It would be a very cool feature to have Preview macros.  But JavaScript doesn't have the kind of access to the Acrobat dialogs to prerform a print simulation.  The functionaltiy just isn't there.   Really, Adobe should have added a simple Macro feature a long time ago.
It may be possible to create this with a Plug-in.  I don't know whether or not the Print Production functionality has an HFT.  But if it does you could create specialty print preview buttons.

  • Displaying JobTicket colorant data in Output Preview dialog.

    Hi,
my task is to create plug-in which extends functionality of Output Preview dialog. It should display actual state of all Separations and Inks specified in PDF JobTicket.
I supposed to use AVPageViewSetVisibleInks/AVPageViewGetVisibleInk but they do something different that I need.
Are there any ways to set/change Separations and Inks in Output Preview dialog via Adobe SDK?
    Thanks!

You can't update or extend existing dialogs. You'd have to provide a
    complete new function.

  • New preview function for iPad–error message "Multiple page sizes not supported"

When I try to use the new preview function with my iPad I get the error message "Multiple page sizes within a layout are not supported". I have a page that is 768 x  1296. I would really like to preview this folio before publishing. Any suggestions?

If you're trying to create an article that scrolls vertically, you can create a 768x1296 article in a 1024x768 folio, but you need to select a Smooth Scrolling option when you create or import the article, or in the Article Properties dialog box.

  • Printing ALV Report output through Function Modules

    Hi All,
I want to print my ALV Grid output through function modules/statement (not through print option in menu).
This is because, i am generating a PDF from spool when user clicks on a button. If any changes happened in the ALV output layout, they will be captured in spool through printing it.
So can you please tell me how to print the ALV Output through FMs or sending the ALV output to spool.
    Thanks & Regards,
    Senthil.

    Hi Dev,
    Thanks for the reply.
I want to print the ALV when the user clicks on a button in toolbar. Lets say the user has made some changes to the layout, (E.g hiding a field) and when i print that output it should use the changed layout, If i use the FM suggested by you, i cant acheive this.
If you try to print this manually, the system uses the changed layout and not the original. Thats why i want to know FMs/statement to print.

    Senthil.

  • How do I set the Simulation Profile to CMYK by default in the Output Preview Window

I've just upgraded to Adobe PDF X Pro from Acrobat 6 Pro. In Acrobat 6 I could just go to Advanced> Separation Preview and it would let me check off colours in CMYK, this was useful for me to check that Blacks were full black and not registration. I work in Newspaper media and always check if Ads are using the correct colours in the Ads they supply us.
Now here's my problem, every time I open up a new pdf Ad from clients and go the output preview it always shows me the colours in Adobe RGB by default. This is very annoying especially when I have to check a ton of Ads by clicking and scrolling down to say 'Photoshop 5 Default CMYK' just so I can check the Black. Is there any way to have it like it was in Acrobat 6? And just have it always show me the output preview in CMYK by default?
    Edit: Typos.

Ok, after fiddling around I've figured it out. Edit> Preferences> Colour Management> Under Working Spaces Change CMYK: PhotoShop 5 Default CMYK. Now all pdfs show up as CMYK when I click on output preview.

  • How to change the default setting for Output Preview

Good afternoon! I use the Output Preview feature under Advanced > Print Production quite a bit, to preview the rendering in one specific simulation profile (for me, its Web Coated SWOP 2006 Grade 3 Paper).
Is there any way to set the default to be a specific profile, instead of the one that keeps coming up (Output Intent: CGATS TR 001)?
It's very time consuming to have to repeatedly select my profile everytime I open a PDF and gauge the file in Output Preview.
Any help would be greatly appreciated... thanks!
    - Johnny

All you need to do is set the default CMYK (under Preferences > Color Management) to the profile you use the most. It will then default to that profile in Output Preview, unless it has an Output Intent specified.

  • Acrobat 9 + Output Preview

In Acrobat 9 I noticed something confusing. I had a pdf file which had black text on a background. I opened this up in Acrobat 9 and went to check to see if the black text was set to overprint. Going to Output Preview I turned off the Process Black separation and it showed me that the black appeared to be overprinting. I then turned off the Simulate Overprint check box and the background showed the text to be knocking out. Under the Color Warnings preview I used it to show me all the overprinting elements and it verified that the Black Text was overprinting. I assumed that Simulate Overprinting would show me what the picture would look like if the black text was not set to overprint. Instead it's deceiving me making me think that the black text is knocking out when I turn this off.
In Acrobat 8 the previews appeared correctly or what I assumed in my mind as correct. Is this feature working correctly in Acrobat 9 and if it is can you explain the thought process behind what is happening?

In Acrobat 9, you might have noticed that overprint preview has been removed from the menu items under Advanced > Print Production. The "Simulate Overprinting" checkbox was added to output preview so that we can still temporarily "turn on/off" the simulation of overprinting appearance (rather than have to change preferences), largely for troubleshooting or further examination of a document. Turning this off is like turning off overprint preview (which simulates overprinting appearance). It's not actually turning off the overprint flag itself, so color warning is still highlighting the black text.
Output Preview always enables overprint preview regardless of what your preferences are (in earlier versions, this includes your menu selection). You were unable to turn off overprint preview whenever output preview was open. In 9, the checkbox allows you to turn off that simulation.
Overprint Preview can still be controlled in display preferences.
I hope this helped. If not, please give more info about what you are expecting to see.

  • Problem with creating PDF in Photoshop, or Acrobat Output Preview

I saved a PDF in Photoshop and Acrobat's output preview the text was black in 4 colors and Rip did not have this problem. Why?

You have gone a while without a reply here, so I'll bump your post at least, but it is not clear from your question exactly what your problem is.
'Black in four colors'   I don't understand this statement.  Black is black and does not have colours.
'Rip'  I don't know what you mean by Rip.
One tghing that comes to mind is that if you have exported a large layered document to PDF and that document had vectored objects like Type layers, whenn you view the PDF file you might initially see those vectored objects in black while the system is catching up and rendering the type layers etc.  In that case, just waiting will see it corrected, but a 3550 x 8800 pixel banner file I delivered to a printer recently, took ages to render on the printer's slow system.
If you expand on your problem, I amn sure someone will try and help.
