Output Table Data Verticaly

I've seen lots of examples of this done with output from a
database query.
In my particular case i need to output from form variables.
Any Ideas ?

easycfm.com has examples of how to do this.

  • VL74 - Output - tables/data sent to configured program

    Hi,
    I am currently working on a label that will be printed during execution of VL74 (Output from Handling Units). what tables/structures will be sent to my label/program during the execution?
    I can't debug since the config and samples have not yet been created. However, I would like to build the field and table mappings, since I have large number of fields going through to the label. As such, I need to know what kind of fields/info would be coming into the program.

    Since i do not fully know the type of label you need, i would say you can start with tables VEKP, VEPO

  • How to Convert internal table data into text output and send mail in ABAP

    Hi All,
    Good Morning.
    Taking a glance at a code that converts internal table data to an Excel file in ABAP. also checked how to send this excel to mailing list as attachment.
    But thought of doing it without excel.
    I mean, I have an internal table which contains fields of all types (character,integer,date,time). Since it is only around 4 to 5 rows in it (output),why to convert it to excel. not required!!.  Instead I  want to send this output to User's mails as Normal mail body with No attachments.
    Could anybody please suggest me a way as to how to send internal table data as a mail ( not as an excel or PDF etc).
    as of now my findings are, it is quite complex to convert internal table data to email (Text) format. but i believe if there is some way of doing it.
    Best Regards

  • How to select from multiple output tables in the SAP Data Source

    Hi,
    We're using the SAP Data Source to display SAP data in our portal from the Bapi: BAPI_INFORECORD_GETLIST. When defining the Bapi Meta Data we can select data from one of the two output tables (INFORECORD_GENERAL and INFORECORD_PURCHORG). But we want to select data from both tables (some columns we want to show are in INFORECORD_GENERAL and some are in INFORECORD_PURCHORG) .
    How can we do this ?
    With regards,
    Ramon van der Weiden

    You can query multiple TimesTen databases, but your original question was about joining tables from two databases, which is not supported.
    Using Cache Connect to Oracle to query an Oracle database is not distributed. It's still one single Oracle database you are querying. You cannot join a table in the TimesTen database with a table in the Oracle database, this is not allowed.
    If you are willing to share your business requiremens, we can take a look and see what solution might work for you. Would you like to discuss this offline?

    once i get the data into a plsql table, how to get this plsql table data into the cursor?There is no such thing as a PL/SQL table - it is an array.
    It is nothing at all like a table. It cannot be indexed, partitioned, cluster, etc. It does not exist in the SQL engine as an object that can be referenced. It resides in expensive PGA memory and needs to be copied (lock, stock and barrel) to the SQL engine as a bind variable.
    It is an extremely primitive structure - and should never be confused as being just like a table.
    Its use in SQL statements is also an exception to the rule. Sound and valid technical reasons need to justify why one want to push a PL/SQL array to the SQL engine to run SELECT 's against it.

  • Create XML file from table data

    Dear All,
    with dataservice 4.0, I want to create an XML file from a table data.
    Table have a single column but more record, for example:
    0001000488;100;EUR;
    0001000489;200;EUR;
    0001000450;300;EUR;
    My desired XML output:
    <Data>
      0001000488;100;GBP;
      0001000489;200;EUR;
      0001000450;300;EUR;
    </Data>
    I try with a sample query but the sistem write only the last record in XML file:
    <Data>
      0001000450;300;EUR;
    </Data>
    Can everyone help me?
    Thank in advance.
    Simone

    Hello
    That is a very simple (also odd) XML document structure, and as such doesn't require use of the XML target.  It can be easily acheived by writing a normal file with a header and footer, which is acheived using a row_generation and a query to generate the hard coded open and close tags.

  • Excel issues with importing CSV or HTML table data from URL - Sharepoint? Office365?

    Greetings,
    We have a client who is having issues importing CSV or HTML table data as one would do using Excel's Web Query import from a reporting application.  As the error message provided by Excel is unhelpful I'm reaching out to anyone who can help us begin to
    troubleshoot problems affecting what is normal standard Excel functionality.  I'd attach the error screenshot, but I can't because my account is not verified....needless to say it says "Microsoft Excel cannot access  the file https://www.avantalytics.com/reporting_handler?func=wquery&format=csv&logid=XXXX&key=MD5
    Where XXXX is a number and MD5 is an md5 code.  The symptoms stated in the error message are:
    - the file name or path does not exist
    -The file is being used by another program
    -The workbook you are trying to save has the same name as a currently open workbook.
    None of these symptoms are the case, naturally. The user encountered this with Excel2010, she was then upgraded to Excel2013 and is still experiencing the same issue. The output of this URL in a browser (IE, Chrome, Firefox) is CSV data for the affected
    user, so it is not a network connectivity issue.  In our testing environment using both Excel2010 or 2013 this file is imported successfully, so we cannot replicate.  The main difference I can determine between our test environment and the end-user
    is they have a Sharepoint installation and appear to have Office365 as well.
    So,  my question might more appropriately be for Sharepoint or Office365 folks, but I can't be sure they're  a culprit.  Given this - does anyone have any knowledge of issues which might cause this with Sharepoint or Office365 integrated with
    Excel and/or have suggestions for getting more information from Excel or Windows other than this error message?  I've added the domain name as a trusted publisher in IE as I thought that might be the issue, but that hasn't solved anything.  As you
    can see its already https and there is no authentication or login - the md5 key is the authentication.  The certificate for the application endpoint is valid and registered via GoDaddy CA.
    I'm at a loss and would love some suggestions on things to check/try.
    Thanks  -Ross

    Hi Ross,
    >> In our testing environment using both Excel 2010 and 2013 this file is imported successfully, so we cannot replicate.
    I suspect it is caused by the difference of web server security settings.
    KB: Error message when you use Web query to a secure Web page (HTTPS://) in Excel: "Unable to open"
    Hope it will help.

  • Problem with pl/sql table data type

    hai friends,
    i have one procedure it has some in parameters and one out parameter which fetches values to front end.
    But the out parameter will be pl/sql table data type.
    if it is ref cursor
    then i declared as
    var x refcursor;
    exec procedure_name(1,:x);
    it is ok.
    but for pl/sql table data type is out parameter then what i will do in the prompt .
    give me syntax and clarify my doubt.
    advanced thanks...
    madhava

    The SQL*Plus VARIABLE statement does not support user-defined types, hence it cannot support nested tables. It can support cursors because they can be weakly typed (so we can use the one SQL*Plus VAR to hold any shape of resultset). Nested tables are strongly typed; SQL*Plus is a relatively stupid interface and cannot be expected to understand UDT.
    So, it you want to use nested tables as output you'll need to code a wrapping procedure that can understand your nested table type and handle it accordingly.
    Sorry.

    This may not be an option for you but in pinch you may want to consider outputing your data to an MS Spreadsheet, then saving it as a CSV. It's somewhat of a cumbersome process, but it will get you by for now.
    You will need to change your content type to application/vnd.ms-excel.
    <% response.setContentType("application/vnd.ms-excel"); %>

  • How to hide columns in the output table in webdynpro based on input

    Hi Experts,
       I have 2 inputs and 1 input is optional.If both inputs are given proper table output is displayed,but if only 1 input is given a column is empty in the output table  so i want to hide this column dynamically at runtime based on my inputs.And i want to hide some empty rows also at runtime based on inputs.
    Can anyone help me out to solve this.
    Thanks in advance.
    Regards,
    Anita.

    Hi Anitha,
    What i understood from your question is,you want to control the table from your inputs.I have a one question for you what do you want to show defaultly i.e when you run the application what you want to show,either no table or table with some values.
    Any how i am giving solution in this way.
    If both inputs are given proper table output is displayed
    Write your below logic in the WDDOMODIFYVIEW )
    Here i am assuming that you already have a table element in the view.
    Get the values entered in the input fields and compare those 2 values ,if the condition is satisfied then bind the values which you want to show in the table to the context node.
    but if only 1 input is given a column is empty in the output table so i want to hide this column dynamically at runtime based on my inputs
    You are telling that you know the empty column.If so get the view element reference and use the REMOVE_COLUMN to remove the column.
    data:lr_table type ref to cl_wd_table,
           lr_column type ref to L_WD_TABLE_COLUMN.
    lr_table ?= view->get_element( 'TABLE1' ).
    CALL METHOD LR_TABLE->REMOVE_COLUMN
        EXPORTING
          ID          = 'TABLE1_color'
         INDEX      =
        RECEIVING
          THE_COLUMN = lr_column.
    i want to hide some empty rows also at runtime based on inputs.
    Removing the rows is very simple.if you know the key fields data of internal table from your input fields then do in this way.
    delete itab from wa where key1= "12" and key2="abd".
    Now bind the internal table to context node.
    LO_ND_hcm->BIND_TABLE(
          NEW_ITEMS            = it_final
          SET_INITIAL_ELEMENTS = ABAP_TRUE ).

  • Internal Table Data to XML

    Hi
    I have a requirement of writing internal table data to XML. Any idea where i should start.
    I have pretty good experience with ABAP and basic knowledge in XML.
    There are good blogs which talk about transformations and other stuff but they are not able to give me clear path to my solution.
    Could somebody give me a basic example or some reference material where i can move the data in internal table (assume Sales order details of a day) to XML.
    Thanks

    Refer the program -
    In this implementation we will only focus on the creation of the XML file and the transfer to the user. You can not create a XML document directly. You have to use a so called ixml factory first.
    TYPE-POOLS: ixml.
    DATA: l_ixml TYPE REF TO if_ixml.
    l_ixml = cl_ixml=>create( ).
    This iXML factory can create an empty XML document object named l_document.
    DATA:  l_document TYPE REF TO if_ixml_document.
            l_document = l_ixml->create_document( ).
    At this point you can add the nodes (elements, attributes) into the document. First you have to declare the root element node.
    DATA: l_element_root TYPE REF TO if_ixml_element.
    This node we have to give a name and add it (create_simple_node) to the document object l_document, which will be the parent of this node.
    l_element_root  = l_document->create_simple_element(
                name = 'flights'
              parent = l_document ).
    Next we can add child nodes to there parent node using the same method of the document object.
    DATA: l_element_airline TYPE REF TO if_ixml_element,
    l_element_airline  = l_document->create_simple_element(
                   name = 'airline'
                 parent = l_element_root  ).
    An attribute can be add easily using the method set_attribute of the element node.
    l_rc = l_element_airline->set_attribute( name = 'code' value = 'LH401' ).
    Now we have finished the document object. Regretfully it can not be displayed in any form due to the fact that it is a binary object.
    The next step is to convert the created document to a flat file. To achieve this we have to create a stream factory, which will help us to create an output stream.
    DATA: l_streamfactory   TYPE REF TO if_ixml_stream_factory.
    l_streamfactory = l_ixml->create_stream_factory( ).
    In this case, we will convert the document into an output stream which is based on an internal table of type x.
    TYPES: BEGIN OF xml_line,
              data(256) TYPE x,
            END OF xml_line.
    DATA:  l_xml_table       TYPE TABLE OF xml_line,
            l_xml_size        TYPE i,
            l_rc              TYPE i,
            l_ostream         TYPE REF TO if_ixml_ostream.
    l_ostream = l_streamfactory->create_ostream_itable( table = l_xml_table ).
    When we have created the output stream we can do the rendering from the document into the stream. The XML data will be stored in the internal table automatically.
    DATA: l_renderer        TYPE REF TO if_ixml_renderer.
    l_renderer = l_ixml->create_renderer( ostream  = l_ostream
                            & nbsp;              document = l_document ).
    l_rc = l_renderer->render( ).
    In the last step we upload the file to the sapgui
    l_xml_size = l_ostream->get_num_written_raw( ).
    CALL METHOD cl_gui_frontend_services=>gui_download
       EXPORTING
         bin_filesize = l_xml_size
         filename     = 'c:\temp\flights.xml'
         filetype     = 'BIN'
       CHANGING
         data_tab     = l_xml_table
       EXCEPTIONS
         OTHERS       = 24.
    This finished the first step-of-three. As mentioned before the next log will focus on the conversion from xml files (back) to abap tables.
    REPORT  z_xit_xml_dom_create.

  • Problem converting data in XML file to internal table data

    Hi all,
    I have a requirement. I need to convert an XML file to internal table data and based on that data do Goods Receipt in SAP.
    With the help of this blog /people/r.eijpe/blog/2005/11/10/xml-dom-processing-in-abap-part-i--convert-an-abap-table-into-xml-file-using-sap-dom-approach
    I am able to convert the XML file to data in SAP. But this blog will display the output on screen as ELELEMNT = nodename VALUE= value of that node.
    But I donu2019t want in that way, I want to store all the data in XML file in an internal table so that I can make use of those values and do Goods Recipt in SAP.
    Can some one suggest how should I read the data in an internal table.
    Here is my code..what changes should I make?

  • Sending internal table data to application server as an XML file

    Hi All,
    I am trying to send the internal table data to application server which should be stored in XML format.
    I am using the following code:
    DATA:
              result TYPE xstring.
            CALL TRANSFORMATION id
            SOURCE tab = p_output-xsfdata
            RESULT XML result.
            OPEN DATASET l_xml_full_path FOR OUTPUT IN BINARY MODE.
            TRANSFER  result TO l_xml_full_path.
            CLOSE DATASET l_xml_full_path.
    And the content in the internal table is :
    3C3F786D6C2076657273696F6E3D22312E30223F3E3C736620786D6C6E733D2275726E3A736

    .......and so on
    With this a file is getting created on the application server, but the data is not correct. I am getting the data something like:

  • How to display a table data on Screen having a Table control

    Hi ,
    I am new to ABAP.I would like to display a table data (Eg: ZDemo) on a screen at run time.I have defined a Table control in screen. Now I want to populate data from ZDemo to table control.How can I do that?Please help moving forward in this regard.

    Hi Gayatri,
      After creating table control do the following steps.
    1. In the flow logic section write the following code:
    PROCESS BEFORE OUTPUT.

    ENDLOOP.
    I_LIKP is the internal table which is used to display table data in the table control.
    2. In Process Before Output, in the module STATUS_0200 write the following code:
      DESCRIBE TABLE I_LIKP LINES FILL.
      LIKP_DATA-LINES = FILL.
      In Process After Input, in the module USER_COMMAND_0200 write the following code:
      CASE SY-UCOMM.
       WHEN 'LIPS'.
        READ TABLE I_LIKP WITH KEY MARK = 'X'.
        SELECT VBELN
               POSNR

         CALL SCREEN 200.
        ENDIF.
       WHEN 'BACK'.
        SET SCREEN 200.
      ENDCASE.
    In Process Before Output and in the module ASSIGN_DATA which is there inside the loop write the following code:
    MOVE-CORRESPONDING I_LIKP TO LIKP.
    So, Totally your flow logic code should be like this.
    TABLES: LIKP, LIPS.

    Save and Activate the program along with the screen in which you have included table control.
    Hope this will help you.

  • How to Populate Internal table data to Table Control in a Report Program

    Dear All,
           How to Populate Internal table data to Table Control in a Report Program? It is a pure report program with out any Module pool coding involved, which is just used to display data. Till now it is being displayed in a report. Now the user wants the data to be displayed in a table control. Could someone tell me how to go about with this.
    Thanks in Advance,
    Joseph Reddy

    If you want to use a table control, you will need to create a screen.
    In your report....
    start-of-selection.
    perform get_data.  " Get all your data here
    call screen 100. " Now present to the user.
    Double click on the "100" in your call screen statement.  This will forward navigate you to the screen.  If you have not created it yet, it will ask you if you want to create it, say yes.  Go into screen painter or layout of the screen.  Use the table control wizard to help you along the process.  It will write the code for you.  Since it is an output only table control, it will be really easy with not a lot of code.
    A better way to present the data to the user would be to give it in a ALV grid.  If you want to go that way, it is a lot easier.  Here is a sample of the ALV function module.  You don't even have to create a screen.
    report zrich_0004
           no standard page heading.
    type-pools slis.
    data: fieldcat type slis_t_fieldcat_alv.
    data: begin of imara occurs 0,
          matnr type mara-matnr,
          maktx type makt-maktx,
          end of imara.
    * Selection Screen
    selection-screen begin of block b1 with frame title text-001 .
    select-options: s_matnr for imara-matnr .
    selection-screen end of block b1.
    start-of-selection.
      perform get_data.
      perform write_report.
    *  Get_Data
    form get_data.
      select  mara~matnr makt~maktx
                into corresponding fields of table imara
                  from mara
                   inner join makt
                     on mara~matnr = makt~matnr
                        where mara~matnr in s_matnr
                          and makt~spras = sy-langu.
    endform.
    *  WRITE_REPORT
    form write_report.
      perform build_field_catalog.
    * CALL ABAP LIST VIEWER (ALV)
      call function 'REUSE_ALV_GRID_DISPLAY'
           exporting
                it_fieldcat = fieldcat
           tables
                t_outtab    = imara.
    endform.
    * BUILD_FIELD_CATALOG
    form build_field_catalog.
      data: fc_tmp type slis_t_fieldcat_alv with header line.
      clear: fieldcat. refresh: fieldcat.
      clear: fc_tmp.
      fc_tmp-reptext_ddic    = 'Material Number'.
      fc_tmp-fieldname  = 'MATNR'.
      fc_tmp-tabname   = 'IMARA'.
      fc_tmp-outputlen  = '18'.
      fc_tmp-col_pos    = 2.
      append fc_tmp to fieldcat.
      clear: fc_tmp.
      fc_tmp-reptext_ddic    = 'Material'.
      fc_tmp-fieldname  = 'MAKTX'.
      fc_tmp-tabname   = 'IMARA'.
      fc_tmp-outputlen  = '40'.
      fc_tmp-col_pos    = 3.
      append fc_tmp to fieldcat.
    endform.
