Output through interface
Hey,
My headphone jack crapped out so I would like to listen to my iTunes through my Firewire interface but cannot find a place in preferances to do that...is it possible?

Here is what is happening.
In my jsp, lets say Page1.jsp I have alot of hidden parameters and other elements in the form.
On clicking a link, I submit the form to a servlet and then change the url of the page to point to another servlet; the JavaScriptcode being:

In Servlet 2,
I have code similar to the following:

where "report_date" was a hidden parameter in Page1.jsp e.g.

Now comes the interesting part.
When I run the application using IE5.0 and IE4.0
name = "2002/07/29";
but using IE5.5
name = null
I am certain that diffrent behaviour of the JavaScript function changeTab()is what is casuing the problem but have no idea why and how to correct it.
If you can suggest anything please let me know.

Printing ALV Report output through Function Modules
Hi All,
I want to print my ALV Grid output through function modules/statement (not through print option in menu).
This is because, i am generating a PDF from spool when user clicks on a button. If any changes happened in the ALV output layout, they will be captured in spool through printing it.
So can you please tell me how to print the ALV Output through FMs or sending the ALV output to spool.

I want to print the ALV when the user clicks on a button in toolbar. Lets say the user has made some changes to the layout, (E.g hiding a field) and when i print that output it should use the changed layout, If i use the FM suggested by you, i cant acheive this.
If you try to print this manually, the system uses the changed layout and not the original. Thats why i want to know FMs/statement to print.

Error while sending PO output through mail in PDF format - Urgent
Dear friends,
Developed program to send sapscript output through mail in pdf format, the program running properly, even function module SO_NEW_DOCUMENT_ATT_SEND_API1 returning sy-subrc 0. But the external mail is not going to user lying in SAP outbox with message <b>"Wait for communications service"</b> . SCOT is properly configured, tested mails sending through SAP office.

A cyclic job runs, which processes the messages seen in the SOST queue.
Are you sure it's not the frequency of the cyclic job, rather than the
number of messages in the queue, that you are observing? In messages
that are queued and before the cyclic job runs, "wait for comm. service"
is the normal status.
If you mean that there are always 4 items queued in SOST regardless of
the cyclic send job, then I have no ideas. I would have thought there
was no way to do that.
when the send job runs it just never
picks them up & sends them, while it picks up many others. The send job
is somehow blind to these; no error message occurs. In this case, I
'delete' them from the queue (in SOST) and then 'undelete' (drop down
menu -> /Go to /Deleted Items) them and then re-queue them. THEN they
actually get picked up & sent when the next cyclic send job executes.

We are yet to have this in our system and in requirements gather phase for my FS. I request you to help me in finishing this .

Sound Output Through miniHDMI port
I am trying to link my 13 inch MacBook Pro to my tv so I can watch videos I have on my computer on my TV. I have the mini HDMI cable converter hooked up. I am getting video from the computer to the TV but no sound. I tried a headphone to RCA converter to get sound to the TV and this works if I have the TV source set to AV. However this only sends sound to the TV and not video. And the way the TV source works I cannot select HDMI video input and av sound input. Is there a way I can force sound output through the miniHDMI cable so I can get sound and video through one cable? I would greatly appreciate any information and help anyone can provide.

Crystal output(through printer) to a Window when running via PIA (Web). Is it available in peoplesoft.Addendum: later versions of Premiere Elements now have the SmartSound Sonicfire Pro Express Tracks version (not the Scoring Edition) included, rather than the older QuickTracks module. This allows one to use the newer SmartSound Multi-Track discs, where the older QuickTracks module will only work with some of the older Multi-Track discs. The version of SmartSound Sonicfire Pro Express Tracks included is limited, vs the Scoring Edition (available for purchase), but allows for a lot of editing of SmartSound material. The installation is separate from the installation of the Premiere Elements installation, and involves a download of the Sonicfire Pro Express Tracks installer. It is also necessary to then apply the update to the Sonicfire Pro Express Tracks program.
I feel, however, that the Sonicfire Pro Scoring Edition, when used with the Multi-Track discs, is so very useful, that I recommend anyone, who is serious about creating custom soundtracks for their Videos, look closely at it, and also that they see the SmartSound tutorials (on the SmartSound Web site), to discover the power that it provides - it is like having a million variations for each Multi-Track song.

How can I send quotation output through email, Can some one provide me a step by step configuration guide for Output determination via email.Hi,
I hope your using SAP Standard Output type for Quotation. That is "AN00".
This is how you configure that.
Go to Tx: NACE
Highlight "V1 - Sales" line & click on "Output types" button. Then click on "Display/Change" button to come to Change mode.
Then highlight "AN00 - Quotation" line & click on "Details" Icon. (Magnifying Glass)
Check whether your using correct Access Sequence for your client in the "General" tab. If not change it to correct one. This will determine whch out out you want to select during processing. You can create you own access sequence using "Access sequences" Option in the NACE Tx.
Go to "Default Values' tab and select "Dispatch time" as "4 - Send immediately when Saving" - this is to send the email as soon as you save the quotation. If you don't want that, select appropriate one.
Then double click on "Processing routines" node. there you have to add Medium as "7 - Simple Mail". Check whether the "Form" & "Program" are correct. This will determine the layout of the output. Else get a ABAP's help to customize that.
Go to "Partner Functions" node & add relevant "Medium" as 7 & enter relevant Partner function that you want to send the output.
Now configuration is over.
Go to Tx: VV11 to create master data. Enter "AN00" as output type & press Enter.
Based on the access sequence, enter relevant data.
Save.
Now check with a new quotation.

Output through Blackmagic card?
I'm looking into the Blackmagic Ultra Studio card as aposed to outputting through an Open GL graphics card. Does anyone recommend another product? I'm only wanting it so i can correctly display colour and gamma i don't need it to record via SDI or HDMI.
I am using CS6 an BM Multibridge also only for preview (no chaptue) outout via SDI oder HDMI to a professional Monitor Sony OLED 2541 (SDI or HDMI).
To use BM you need to open a own BM timeline which you can choose in CS6-Settings BM - properties. With standard CS6 timeline SDI output does not work.
You should now:
When you use effects in a CS6 standard timeline, somtimes rendering is not necessary (green line). When you use BM (in my case Multibride) + CS6 Effects/ColorCorrection (or RedGiant or others) rendering is VEVERY time necessary. If you dont use Effects/ColorCorrection rendering ist not necessary.
A proper NLE helps in this case very much.
Same for AE CS6.

its a SAP standard deliverd program. but before that in VL01N go to header out put , and enter the output type (LD00)and the communication (LP01) and do the normal picking packing PGI .
now go to VL03N , in the screen there is a menu Go to -> Issue output to -> enter and click on output screen

I am working on quotation, i need to send quotation output through e-mail to distributors, i am not finding output type(Method) e-mail in output types in IMG , please help in how to configure this.send me any document related to this to the email ID [email protected]

Please make sure the following configurations are done.
1. Goto transaction v/30 choose the output type(SAP provides default output type MAIL for sending emails). Go to the detail view of the output type and to the tab -> default value, Select the transamission medium Simple mail , In the partner functions select the partner function MP.
2.Goto spro->output control settings, Make sure that this output type is added to the output determination procedure.
3.Make sure that the output det procedure is assigned to the sales document header or at the item level.
4.Maintain the condition records for the output type.
If all these settings are apt in your system, You shudn't have any problems in getting the ouput generated.

I have a requirement to send the billing output directly to the customer(BP) who is receiving billing document but it should be specific customers. Can you please explain where do we maintain for automatic billing output through customer email.
I have maintained transmission medium as email at billing output type level and maintained output codition record level.
Outout is not triggering as i have maintained above settings. Can you please guide the steps for getting output through email.

If you want to sent email to the BP the invoice copy then create your output type in SPRO>SD>Basic Functions>O/P control>O/P determination>O/P determination using condition technique>maintain Output Determination for billing documents.
Select RD00 and create an output type of your own. In the Default values tab maintain transmission medium "5" and partner function "BP" and Communication Strategy "CS01". Now at left side "Dialog structure " Maintain the values for each one
In the processing routines maintain medium "5" .Your program ,form routine and form.Also type "2 PDF".
In partner functions Maintain medium "5" and partner function "BP" these are the configurations when you maintain the new output type.
After creating the new output type maintain the same in output determination procedure. with Step/Output type (created by you).
Maintain the email address in customer master of BP.
Also check in SCOT to ensure the email is triggered -
