Hi Experts,
How to assign the Adobe forms to Output types in SAP HR, and what is the use of assigning the forms(Scrips or Smart forms or Adobe forms )to the output types.
and finally what is an output type, and how they are useful.
Questions:
1. particularly what are the output types available for hiring action in HR.
2. How to assgin custome FORM for a output type.
3. where can we find output type in hr.
4. how to maintain output types for a particular transaction in HR.

Regarding Creation of Output types for SAP SCRIPTS

Hi All,
I want to create new output types for my SAP Script.
What is the procedure for creating new Z - Output Type.
Like ZA01 for Sales Order.
What is the procedure can any body help me in this regard.
It is not to use ZA01 in NACE & connect Print Program & Layout set against Form Entry.
It is for creation of ZA01 Output Type itself.
If anybody knows the procedure please post the steps.
Also please mention will there be any diffrence in creation from Module to Module (or) Transaction (Vs) Transaction. Just like Sales Order (Vs) Purchase Order (Vs) Production Order.

Steps for output type:
Go to NACE Transaction
Select V1 - Sales.
Click Output type
In edit mode , click on new entries.
Give output type as ZA01 with some descp.
Then enter , then u need to give the Access seq. as 0010
Rest proprties are more and less similar to the BA00 standard output type in V1 only.
After that u need to give the processing routines.
In that u need to give the Program name
followed by Form routine name
In this way u can create the output from NACE tran.

hi all,
what is this output type?why it is needed?
i have developed a print prog for exise invoice
but not used output type anywhere to see the output of the form.
so my question is when this output type is reqired and when not?
whther i should create output type for the above print program also. whether it is good practice to have output type? if yes why and how can we create output type for my above program?

Hi,
quite interesting question, but difficult to put it in nutsehll.
Definition
An output type (or also a "condition type") summarizes messages of the same meaning. It contains parameters that are valid for all its assigned messages, for example appropriate partner functions.
BA00 (order confirmation), MAIL (internal message), KRML (credit limit exceeded)
Use
For each transmission medium, one form routine in a program is assigned to the output type. This form routine is called for processing the message (message status record).
For transmission medium 7: SAPoffice mail you can assign the output type title and text of mails which are used as default values in the condition records, that is to say, in the messages.

Output types in SAP script

Hi experts,
                  what are output types ? and how can we fetch the name of script program and SAP script layout using output type only.
                                         For example if the out type is LD0010 the how can i get the program name and script name of this particular output type.

Use TNAPR table. Enter your ouputtype in KSCHL.
Then you can see NACHA - Message transmission medium i.e., Printout / fax / etc
                           KAPPL - Application ie.e, sales / shipping,
                           PGNAM - Program name,
                           FONAM- Form name

How to change output type of MI21 transaction ?

Attachment of output type to Invoice

Each type after i create a Invoice i have to go into Header and assign the output type (RD00) for printing purpose is there any other method wher i can give it commonly, so that i dont have to go and give it every time i create an Invoice. Like some mass attachment//... Please help me frnds.

Output determination works as per follows:-
1.First you will have to create a output type.
2.Assign output program to this output type either SAP script or Smartform.
3.Assign this output type in output determination procedure along with the desired access sequence.
4.Assign this output determination procedure to your document type Order/Delivery/Billing
5.Maintain the condition record for the access sequence or you can maintain manualy in order/delivery/Billing
6.You can also add the output type manually in the order/Delivery/Billing.

Mulitple Smartforms for single output type

Hi Experts,
I have 4 programs and 4 smartforms and One output type Z999.
Depends on Company code i need to generate appropriate smartform using VF02.
( 4 programs & 4 smartforms means,
US invoice, US Creditmemo, Canada Invoice and Canada creditmemo).
Is it possible to assign 4 smartforms & 4 programs in NACE transaction in single output type?
If it is not possible what is the way? Please adivise me.

Hi,
I don't think so that you can not do it directly. But there is a workaround for your problem. You can define your output type as SAP script and enter program name and entry routine. You can ignore a SAP script name because you are going to use Smartforms. In this entry routine you will call different Smartforms based on company code of your document.
But why don't you use different output types for different documents? That would be the best solution.

Multiple Output Type

What is the configuration required to Assign 2 multiple output types for single invoice type.
i have configured a new ouput type. i have maintained the condition record also and maintained in procedure as well.
but the new output type defined is not triggered only the existing output type is displayed.

You can do it under the transaction NACE
First create all required output types under "output types" option under application "V3"
Then assign those to your output determination procedure under "Procedures"
Assign this "output determination procedure" to your billing type under transaction V/25
Then maintain output condition records under VV31 transaction.
If you do it correctly, when you create your billing document system will automatically determine the correct output type in to the billing document.

EDI - 753Routing Request and 754 Routing Instructions transactions- what SAP ECC6 EDI output type, msg type, msg code, basis idoc is best practice to generate the idoc?

One of our Trading Partner wishes to implement the 753 Routing Request and 754 Routing Instructions. Can anyone give me best practice answer the following Questions? We are on SAP ECC6 R3
What Application? i.e. V2, V7?
What output condition to use? i..e. LALE, LAT2, SEDI????
What Message type? i.e SHPADV?
What Basic Idoc Type? i.e SHPMNT05?
What Message Code? i.e. SHPM?
What Process Code? i.e. SHPM??
What Function Module? i.e. IDOC_OUTPUT_SHPMNT??
Does the SAP Transpotation Module have to be configured for this to be implemented?

While I did not get any responses from my question, yes, I was able to determine what needed to be configured. I hope the below will help you: This is for SAP ECC6
The output application for the 753 Routing Request is "V7"
The output type is "SEDI"
Transmission medium is "6"
The Basic Idoc type is "Shipmnt05"
when setting up your Partner Profile (WE20) add:Message Partner Role "SP" with Message type "SHPADV', Message coed "753", Basic Type "SHPMNT05", Message Control add Application "V7", Message type "SEDI", Process Code "SHPM".

I have not configured the Inbound 754. For now the inbound 754 Routing Instructions will be emailed to our traffic department.

Problem in sending Fax from the Output type - SAP Script

Hi Team,
I am facng a problem with SAP Script while sending the Fax from the output type. I am able to see the entire output in my outbox. But in the fax machine it is only printing the Main window. I checked with some other outputs which are using the Fax option, they are printing fine. Driver program is the Z program. Can anyone give me some Idea?

The script Name is LB_BIL_INVOICE
You can find byNACE>V3>Output Types>RD00-->Processing Routines
In thje output type Press Change button and select New entries.

In NACE tcode u can create output type with medium as EDI,
u can assign the entry sub routine as ENTRY_EDI in RNASTED

SAP Script is not getting called for GI Output type WA03

Dear All,
I have designed one SAP script for goods issue output type WA03 for Tcode Migo.
I have assigned the form name in NACE. But the problem is it is not picking my form, It is giving some Express document error. I am not able to know how the transaction is picking up the form since it is not going to the standard program even though i have kept breakpoint there. Can anybody let me know how the print program (SAPM07DR)is getting called from MIGO.
print program name is SAPM07DR. Standard Script name is WASCHEIN.

Did you check the entry in NACE. I think you need to configure the Driver program and sap script there. just try to put a session break point and check why it is not picking.
