I think that this is a step in the right direction and KUDOS to ALL of us in the Apple community who wrote letters to Jobs and or iphone feedback @ apple instead of just ******** and moaning on this board.
With that out of the way, notice the thinly veiled realization in Job's wording that he crossed the line by offering a price cut to the skeptics and left the true Apple core (pun intended) to twist in the wind. I think that this has been a lesson in Apple consumer activism for Jobs and a not so subtle hint that he can't play the same slash and burn game that other cell phone companies have played in the past. Apple users expect, and rightfully so, better.
Kudos to Jobs for reacting to outrage, although a $100 credit is more like an Olive twig then a branch as it only gurantees that you'll spend that "refund" on an Apple product near you - it is a stumble in the right direction, nonetheless.
Now would be a good time to launch a major software update making the iphone compatible with the WiFi Itunes store, and ...ad2p would be nice while you're at it.
The question is, are you the enthusiast Apple'sumer who jumped at the chance to be the first on the block to snag that $599 revolution satisfied with Jobs concession?

Well, you can exact your revenge, soon. The next hot sexy gadget will be released by the end of this month, as it is now, IT IS OVERPRICED, and A RIP-OFF. So you can start spreading the gospel and try to educate other people to not buy the ipod touch, and try to talk some sense to them that they will be grossly disappointed coming January when the announcement of the next ipod will come (take that you holiday buyers!!). Let me see if you can do it.... LOL.
Maybe all these angry consumers will be able to make the ipod touch launch D.O.A.... hah hah hah hah... sorry I don't think that is gonna happen. If you buy something, and made that decision to own electronic products, you should be aware that the second you made the purchase, get ready to be disappointed because after the credit card been charged, your new toy is officially obsolete, outdated, and expired. That is just the way it is.
The refund is a great effort, a damage control, and a nice gesture. It is good to know that at least Apple listen (and watch their stock plummeted), and yes, people, MONEY (and stock) TALKS!! So all of you disgruntle Apple consumers, you know what to do, don't buy ipod touch Resist if you can.... (ironically, the people who owns iphone probably can, lol).

If you want to develop a WinForm application to be only used in SharePoint Server, we can use Server-Side Object Model(use Microsoft.Sharepoint.dll) to achieve it.
If you want to use the WinForm application to be used both in Server side and Client Side, I suggest you use .Net Client Object Model(use Microsoft.Sharepoint.Client.dll) to achieve it.

Trying to get sql server compact up and running. I connected to a sqlite database and atuo generated the model.cs code.
however, I get the following error.

Ok so I got the past that problem. I had to add the package System.Data.SQLite Core in Manage NuGet.
Then I changed the auto-generated code "using SQLite" to "using System.Data.SQLite".
But now I have a new problem, it says "System.Data.SQLite.SQLiteConnection' does not contain a definition for 'CreateTable' "

It seems you are using third party dll namespace reference in your project but that dll is not being added in project. Please get the IBM.WMQ dll and add it first in your current visual studio project by right click on project-->add reference.
You can place this dll in GAC or can directly add to project as suggested by jaydeep.

Why does this message keep popping up while in my email. This form will be sent in a way that is not secure. Are you sure you want to send it?

For the last week or so everytime I go into yahoo mail I keep getting this drop down irrating message that says: This form will be sent in a way that is not secure. Are you sure you want to send it?
No matter how I answer it, it still keeps coming up. Is this a problem with Safari?

You can turn that off if you want ..
From your Safari menu bar top of your screen click Safari > Preferences then select the Security tab.
Deselect: Ask before sendinga a non-secure form from a secure a secure website

BlackBerry 10 not until March are you FREAKING kidding me?

It is a total waste of PRECIOUS BlackBerry marketing dollars to hype a Phone during the Superbowl that won't be available for another month. Advertising Vaporware won't win customers back.
You guys did it right for UK. Hyped the phone and you had it on Sale the next day. Why you didn't limit this "launch" event to UK and Canada is beyond me.
I been lugging around my slow and outdated phone for sometime. This is a complete slap in the face to the dedicated BlackBerry user and it's not going to impress iPhone or Droid users.

I'll give you a hint: It wasn't BlackBerry's idea, it was the major U.S. carriers that decided it so perhaps your negativity is misdirected. Had it been up to BlackBerry, the phones would be on the streets worldwide today (as they already are in the U.K.......as decided by the carriers there)..

HP Smart Web Printing only works on Explorer not Firefox 4 are you going to update this as I do not want to change back to Explorer.

I just downloaded the HP Smart Web Printing which is free for those who purchase printers. It provides ability to select and clip or print web pages. It works on Explorer but not Firefox 4. There are many such questions on forums in both HP and Firefox. I love Firefox and would hate to have to go back to Explorer.
Firefox 4 also does not appear to have "Send to OneNote" either. I used to be able to do this in Firefox 3.

Microsoft.SqlServer.DacServices dll is referenced in a unit test project and the compiler is showing an error - The type or namespace name 'DacServices' could not be found.
Although I referenced the dll file in the project visual studio is still errors out as a missing library. I have also tried downloading the file which has the library from http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=40735
by installing Microsoft Data-Tier Application Framework for SQl Server.
Please shade light on this.

This happens on the same website that I use for work every day, multiple times a day as the system automatically logs me off. HOW CAN I TURN THIS OFF!!!!!! ARRRGH!

Is there another way to turn off this warning? I am using Safari 6.0 and in the preferences under security, there is no option to turn this off. Super annoying.

reference?)" and "The type or namespace name 'WinComboBox, UITestControl, WinTitleBar.....etc' could not be found (are you missing a using directive or an assembly reference?)". in the error log is showing the error number are "error CS0234
& error CS0246".
Actually i have created build for automation execution from MTM lab environment. i have to assign the build to the test plan. once the build is passed , i will assign to the test plan and run with automation options.
if i build the solution its getting successfully build. but when i run the created build definition it show the error message's.
Could you guide me how to resolve the above error's ?

It means your project cannot find the proper reference to your type "Visual Studio" from the namespace Microsoft.
May I ask this question, does your build definition means something like the following blog described?

If that is the problem, may I ask whether your build agent is in the same machine where you build your application?
The build agent will first search for the reference from its local GAC and if it cannot find it, the error like you said will reports. Please manually build your project from your build agent machine to see the result, or install Visual Studio to your build
agent machine. In that way I think your problem may fixed.

Job Not Found Exception

AdminUI shows that the task was assigned to the user, as it says RUNNING, but, the task never showed up. This was in the log. Any explanation?
Ran the exact same workflow again, and all worked fine.

These kind of problems occurs across the workflow processes. I suspect this is because of asynchronous jms calls.
I faced a problem something similar to this:
A webservice component was consuming lot of time to execute. So through the adminui, I terminated the task.
The next component (user task) in the workflow got executed twice with two different task Ids. miracle !!
Sometime i'm getting connection reset error with web service components. After a retry, it works well.

Two Exact Functions Are Not Working (long)

I am making a portfolio website. The way I have structured my code is that I have an action layer that takes care of global actions such as how the user would navigate through the website. For each page of the website, I would have a seperate layer that would load the content of that page onto the screen. The content would be added as a movie clip which is attached to a scroll pane component.
I am having trouble calling one of my functions. What I am trying to do is that when the user navigates to 'My Work' section of my website, they can select from one of the examples of my works. Doing so will pop-up a movie clip which will display photographs and provide an explanation for my work. The problem I am trying to fix is that when the user tries to navigate to another page on my portfolio, the pop-up will not remove itself. I have created a function which is attached to the close button so if the user presses it, they can manually close the pop-up movie clip. I have also tried using this closing function with the main navigation buttons of my website so that when the user tries to go to another secion of the website with the pop-up open, the pop-up will automatically close itself, however, it is not constantly working. My 'works' page is seperated into several catagories (web, graphics...). This auto close function is only working on one of the five catagories and I do not understand why. I have copied everything exactly for one catagory to the second catagory, but Flash keeps on giving me the error that "Error #1009: Cannot access a property or method of a null object reference".
My flash files can be downloaded here. Once downloaded, you would want to open up website14.fla. I know my coding is not exactly organized, and I am sorry as this is my first time I have really used a lot of ActionScript at once. I'll try my best to walk you guys through my coding to my error.
To navigate through my website, you would click on the sink, toilet, or shower handles X amount of times. 1 time would bring you to 'about me', 2 for 'resume', 3 for 'contact', and 4 for 'work'. Once on the work page (press 4 times), click on the 'web' catagory and select one of the thumbnails. A pop-up window will appear. Don't close the pop-up window, and instead navigate to another page by pressing one of the handes a few times. Notice that the pop-up window automatically closes itself. Now navigate back to the 'work' page, click on the 'graphics' catagory and select a thumbnail. Now navigate to another page by pressing the handles a few times. Notice how Flash produces the error 'Error #1009: Cannot access a property or method of a null object reference'. In addition, notice how the pop-up window doesn't dissapear, and the new page is layed overtop.
To navigate in the Flash file to my error, I'll try to guide you there. In the root timeline, scroll over to Frame 1 Layer 'Action' and look at the actions panel. On line 72, I have two If statements checking for frames 30 and 31. These two frames are where my work is displayed. I have also used a try/catch statement to check for errors. Now going to frames 30 and 31 and clicking on the workContent layer and looking into the actions panel, I am bringing my movie clip onto the stage by using the function createScrollPane. The function createScrollPane is located in frame 1 in the Action layer on line 13. This function just takes the movie clip and wraps the scroll pane component around it. Going to frame 31 on the main timeline, select the workContent layer and pull up the actions panel to see the code. you will see that I am loading workGraphics_content movie clip onto the page. Find it in the library (content/content/workGraphics_content) and open it by double clicking on it. There you will see another movie clip (workGraphics_content2) fading from alpha0 to alpha1. Double click on it and look at the action script in frame one layer 'action'. On line 93, I have the function external_workFrame_exit which is called whenever the user navigates from the 'work' page to another page on the website. For some reason, Flash keeps on giving me an error whenever that function is called. Oddly enough if you scroll up to line 78 you will see the function workFrame_exit which is none the less exactly the same as external_workFrame_exit. workFrame_exit is called when the user manually clicks the closing X button on the pop-up window to close it. If you want, you can open up another movie clip (content/content/workWeb_content) and double click on that movie clip to open up workWeb_content2 and take a look at its action. Looking on line 86, I have the external_workFrame_exit function and this one is the exact same one as the external_workFrame_exit function (which works fine) found in workGraphics_content2.
What I am confused about is how I have two exact functions being called in pretty much exact same situations in the exact same way, and one of them fails to work. Is there a solution to my problem? Feel free to ask any questions if any of my explanations were difficult to follow.

Sorry about the long post. I just thought that I would include all the details. To sum things up:
You navigate through my website by clicking the sink, toilet, and shower handle X amount of times. By clicking it 4 times you will end up on my 'work' page. My 'work' page has several categories. Select the 'graphics' category, click on one of the thumb nails and a pop-up will appear. Now navigate to another page without closing the pop-up by clicking on the handles. Notice how the pop-up doesn't go away, and the new content is displayed over top? Now if you go back to my 'works' page and click on one of the thumb nails under the 'web' category, then navigate to another page, notice how this pop-up goes away.
I am using the exact same functions to make both the 'graphics' category and the 'web' category to go away, but for some reason the 'graphics' one is not working.

Background job not deleted

Hi Experts,
i want delete the "SM:SELFDIAGNOSIS" background job on solution manager system .
and i have deleted, go to next date and then delete the released job but after one day again its showing in released.
so how i can delete it properly .

First check the frequency of this job from SM37
Go to SM37 -> give your job name ->and select all the options like
delete the entries in start date and end date fileds. then execute.
If you find job in Released state ,simply go to menu Job -> click on release to schedule.
Now this job will in Schedule and won't run untill you release it.
Deleting the jobs is not good idea ,simply you can suspend it.

Background Job not Printing TOs immediately

Hello experts,
I am having an issue with printing Transfer Orders created by background job, the output requests are sent to the output controller with status '-' . It works when I manually create the TOs or if I run the RLAUTA10 program with my userID in SE38 .
I have set the background job user default print parameters in SU3 to print immediately.
Also in the Job step, I have set up the print parameters to 'print immediately'
I have assigned printer for sorce storage type & set the indicator to use the source sto type in OMLV, The printer seems to be determined correctly, I've checked the Spool request name & printer in the spool controller, only issue seems to be the print not being triggered immediately.
Not sure, if there is some other setting that I have to make to be able to print the TOs created by the background job immediately.
Any help would be appreciated.

whether the printer which you assigned is configured in SAP (network printer)? or LOCL?
printing may not happen if LOCL(background job)

Convert Spool to PDF and mail for the jobs not run in background.

Dear All,
I need to convert the spool job into pdf and mail as attachment for job not run in background.
I am printing the bills using the program SD70AV3A to print the bills in a batch using the SUBMIT.
But i am not using the spool options since its going to into waiting state in spool...and i need to change the printer properties to G
to get the printer to print the reports as these jobs run in backgroud....but this solution is not acceptable solution.

You ,may need to convert OTF to PDF: FM CONVERT_OTF
and the to binary : FM 'SMCS_XSTRING_TO_BINARY'
