Outstanding account balance sent to collection and reported to credit agencies

The more I search about this issue, of people having a mysterious bill, the more disappointed I am with verizon. I never had a late payment or missed a payment in my life. I never had a problem with verizon untill now and it seems like no one seems to care or even try to help whenever I call. I spent almost 3 hours Thrusday, and Friday I couldn't get a chance to call finance until now because it seems they close at 6pm and they don't seem to work during the weekends. No one seems to know what's going on and I'm just beeing transfer from billing to finance. Today I spent an hour and didn't get any answers, only excuses. I had a couple of them hang up the phone which I think it's rude.  When I was living in a townhouse, in 08/30/12, I opened a verizon residential account, DSL and phone, since they didn't offer Fast  Fios internet. In 2013 I  bought a house which provides fios internet. and In 01/07/14 I placed an ordered to have internet installed for  01/16/14 and cancel my old account or get it transfered. I called verizon to ask them to have me shipped a box to ship my old router but I was told I could just drop it off at a local verizon store, so I did. And returned the old DSL modem which they sent a box for me to return it. When I received my new router, I followed the instructions and installed it myself. This year for personal business, I went to check up on my credit report and it states I have a Closed account from Verizon and a Delinquency Bill of  $108, that was first reported in 06/2014. The Date that was reported again was 05/15/15. I always had paperless and paid my bill online so I don't understand how I even got a bill that I wasn't told or received. Whenever I call, I'm being told that I shouldn't worry about it because my balance is paid off. But no one seems to know anything about this bill. I had some girl tell me that maybe it was a bill that was sent to my previous address and when I asked her what kind of bill was it? Because last time I checked the payments were $93, not $108. So I'm assuming based of what I'm reading here. The bill has to be for the Verizon Router. But I can't confirm this. I paid everything online, and have records of every payment I made with my credit card, but since I can't access my old verizon account so I can look at the bill history, I regret doing paperless. How can they even bill me after I returned everything and cancelled the old account.  I'm frustrated because I currently have an active Verizon wireless, and Fios internet and the thought of a company you're doing business with is trying to ruin you credit score is like getting stabbed and slowly bleeding to death.

  • GL account balances missmatch in FBL3n and FS10n particular period

    Hi All,
    I have problem for the period 3 i have checked the FS10n balances showing $2.8m but i have click the cumulative balance column it will showing the balance $25m.  what is the cause of differen between FS10n balance and FBL3n line item.
    Please let me know the what proceedure i need to follow for checking balance,

    In FBL3N you can get balances of that gl account from the first transaction on words. Where as in FS10N you can get balance month wise as well as cummulative balance.
    At the end the cummulative balance of FS10N will equal to FBL3N. Now your problem is that you after double clicking on cummulative balance the amount what your are getting is different.
    Earlier i also faced the same problem the reason is line item management is deactivated by one of the user due to some of the line items are not upated in table. For this i raise this issue to SAP OSS. SAP done the respective changes and revert bak to us.
    Check after balance carryforward for fiscal year 2010 any postings done to that gl account. It is better to transfer balances again as it dont has any negative impact. You come to know in test run mode itself.
    Still problem is exist better raise issue to SAP. Dont do any manual entries in TABLES.

    If you were instructed to call them, then that's what you should do. They will probably need to verify your identity before helping you with the security question.

  • Account Sent To Collections Even Though The Final Bill Was Paid In Full, Twice

    Hello World,
    Yet another Verizon billing boondoggle.  My account was sent to collections this month, even though I paid the final bill amount in full, twice.  I have 2 confirmations from Verizon that they received my payment; they took the money out of my account twice, and then mysteriously redeposited the money back in several weeks after the payment, with no notification of why or attempt to contact me.
    Here's the synopsis:
    In August, I moved out of the apartment where I had the internet-only account (no TV or telephone line associated with it.)  I called to cancel and was informed that I'd get a final bill.  When the final bill arrived in September, I paid it on 9/14 via the online portal.  I received a lovely email payment confirmation and the money was deducted from my bank account.  Everything was hunky-dory.  
    Then, on 9/30/13, the payment is refunded to my checking account.  A bill dated 10/1/13 is mailed out, which I again pay, this time on 10/15/13.  I get another payment confirmation, and the money is deducted from my account.  Then, on 10/29/13, the payment is refunded to my checking account.
    I was all set to repeat the process for a 3rd month in a row, when instead of a Verizon bill, I get a collections letter from IC Collections dated 11/1/13.  Thanks Verizon!  As you don't know or care, I'm in the midst of getting a mortgage and you sending this bogus claim to collections has dinged my credit score - way to go!!!
    I tried contacting Verizon directly, but the phone system won't talk to me - because they've transferred my account to IC Collections.  The nice lady at the online chat, Katelyn, for with whom I waited 20 patient minutes to chat, was apologetic but couldn't help.  At the end, she told me it was a billing issue, and not her department - even though I was chatting with the Payment Arrangements / Final Billing portal!
    Well done, Verizon, you've successfully lost another customer.  My new place has super fast internet from a competitor.  I don't plan on dealing with your lousy service again.

    Your issue has been escalated to a Verizon agent. Before the agent can begin assisting you, they will need to collect further information from you. Please go to your profile page for the forum and look at the top of the middle column where you will find an area titled "My Support Cases". You can reach your profile page by clicking on your name beside your post, or at the top left of this page underneath the title of the board.
    Under "My Support Cases" you will find a link to the private board where you and the agent may exchange information. This should be checked on a frequent basis, as the agent may be waiting for information from you before they can proceed with any actions. Please keep all correspondence regarding your issue in the private support portal.

  • Balances not match with FMEM report and FS10N GL wise

    We have developed in report in funds management, it has to be executed based on commitment item and fund center not GL account wise. The report will have two rows actual budget and pan budget. The actual budget should match with GL account balance; it is matching for all GL account except 3 GL accounts. These 3 GL accounts balance is showing more than report balance for three periods (April, May and June).
    Can I know in which I should check. Because I have tried with possibilities I couldn’t get

    In the report you have to G/L accounts where you can select on:
    The reconsilation account form the Vendor
    The G/L account where to posting is created on.
    It is possible that there are differences when you have change the reconsilation account form the Vendor.
    The old posting are on the old and new on the nwe account. Perhaps you mis some Special G/L Indicators
    It is possible that values are changed when you run the reports

  • Display account balances for vendor PO's and GRPO's

    In the BP Master, there is a display for customers of the account balance, open orders, deliveries, and opportunities.  But for vendors there is only an account balance.  There should be a similar display for open PO's and GRPO's.

    Maybe you can have a try with Drag&Relate function then use Filter to just include Open PO/GRPO only, the total amount will be displayed at the bottom of Drag&Relate result window.
    Howeve this is not as convenient as the open balance field directly showed on BP Master Data field.

    As we know to display GL Account Balance Display we have std report "FAGL_ACCOUNT_BALANCE" But we can not run this in background as it is ALV report.

    Hi,
    As division is not header field of invoice it is not available in accounting document header as well. Thus it will not be available in any standard reports showning items per account. I'm affraid you need to develop your own report or try to extend existing using user-/customer-exits.

    We have 10 set of books starts from aus ind uk us france......
    we have 3 consolidated sobs asia ,europe and us consolidate sobs
    under asia we have india,china,korea and under europe france,italy and under USA us sob.
    now our requirement is that we should develop a report with gl account balances at consolidated sob and local sob's.
    I have done with the USD currency but i need some clarification is that how can i get the amounts in local currency which has come to consolidated sob.
    Can any one send/give me link about this type of process.

    If your company code currency is USD and you are posting few documents in CAD in April for. e.g. total amount for the month of April in currency CAD is 25,000 then
    1. If "Only balance in local currency" selected
    You will not be able to see balance in CAD in FS10N for the month of April
    1. If "Only balance in local currency" not selected
    In FS10N you will be able see balance in CAD currency separately for the month of April.
    Try it out.

    There are lot of Reports available to cater to your requirement unless you need specific data in specific format.
    For getting the Account balance for a Title and the sub accounts under it, you can :
    1) Use the 'General Ledger Report' for detailed list with all the transactions appearing in the same.
    2) if you need only balances, you can run the Trial Balance/Balance Sheet Report and get the data.
    3) If you need the data in customized format or any specific data, you can always query the tables (OACT, JDT1 etc)

  • FF_5 - Issue with Account Balance option while processing BAI file

    Hi All,
    We are getting a runtime error while trying to process the same bank file again through transaction FF_5 with 'Account balance' option checked. And the message says 'The ABAP/4 Open SQL array insert results in duplicate database records.'  with the command 'Insert_FEBPI'. This happens only when we have combination of uploaded and not uploaded statements in the bank file.
    I could find a OSS note for the same issue but that was for the file format MT942. We are using BAI file format. Can some one please help me in this regard.

    This is standard SAP functionality. If there are no applicable notes, then you should open an OSS message.

  • Reconcile GL account balance between Asset number

        I have a big problem , I have different between GL accont balance and Asset no such as GL account balance = 190,000 THB  and  Asset balance = 100,000. I want to know which the asset No. is wrong value ? How can I check?

    Have a look when the value was correct and when it went wrong.
    Run the asset list for the periods, start with one year old, when you have then differences 2 years back when no diffenrences half year later and so on.
    When you found where it went wrong look on the G/L account to not normal postings like, document type is not AA or AF, document date is not the last day of the depreciation for depreciation (is not AF), there is a posting without asset number,..............
