Outstanding balance help

I bought an album from iTunes, not realising that I had insufficient funds in my bank account. Is there a deadline that the outstanding balance needs to be paid by? Will I be charged anymore for the late payment?

Your issue has been escalated to a Verizon agent. Before the agent can begin assisting you, they will need to collect further information from you.
Please go to your profile page for the forum, and look in the middle, right at the top where you will find an area titled "My Support Cases". You can reach your profile page by clicking on your name beside your post, or at the top left of this page underneath the title of the board.
Under “My Support Cases” you will find a link to the private board where you and the agent may exchange information. This should be checked on a frequent basis as the agent may be waiting for information from you before they can proceed with any actions.
To ensure you know when they have responded to you, at the top of your support case there is a drop down menu for support case options. Open that and choose "subscribe".
Please keep all correspondence regarding your issue in the private support portal.

    Well, you may want to look at the activity for one specific account, in detail, before you try to get involved in summarizing/grouping the detail. That way you will begin to understand what the grouping function in the SQL statement is going to do to you. You do not say what is wrong with your query, but I am assuming that your numbers for the Opening Balance and the Closing Balance are too high. Would that be a correct assumption? The problem, as I see it, is that you are joining the gl lines detail to the gl balances table. That means every record (row) in the join for that account for the desired period is going to have the beginning balance dr and cr columns. So if you sum up that column, you are going to sum up the beginning balances multiple times. What you need to do is first summarize your detail activity by the date, journal source, and journal category, and the debits and credits sums, for the period in question, and store that result, Then do a second query that joins that result set to the gl_balances table. Also not sure what null values are doing to you, if you have them in the debit and credit fields. You may have to convert the null values to a 0 as part of this whole process. Or do this via a custom program. Or if you have a data warehouse, you might want to see if you can handle this in the data warehouse. So some options to thiink about.

  • Please Help! Can I pay outstanding balance with a gift card?

    I've been getting really frustrated with Apple the last day or two, I just can't seem to get a hold of the right person. As I type I'm currently on hold with tech support who's waiting to transfer me to lord knows who.
    I had an iTunes outstanding balance of $15.19 and bought a $15 gift card to pay it off. After redeeming the gift card on my iTunes, it shows the credit and the outstanding balance remains unchanged. I thought that it would have automatically gone towards paying the balance.I've tried inputing my credit card info and it keeps telling me that the security code on the back is invalid. Can anybody help me with this cause Apple sure isn't a doing a very good job of it. Thanks!

    It should have worked. Contact the iTunes Store Customer Service department using the form on their Support page (select the category and subcategory closest to the issue you're reporting and you'll find either an "Express Lane" button - just follow the instructions to get to the contact form - or an "Email Us" button) and explain your situation to them.
    BTW, there is no telephone support for the iTunes Store, so don't waste any time on hold with Apple tech support; they can't help.

We have an outstanding balance (though we have received no past due notice via mail, email, or text and make regular payments every month) that I would love to pay, but our bank account number was stolen, so we can't access our account until Monday. Because we were unable to pay our outstanding balance, we were told we can't order the phones today during the special promotion (that ends today). No one can help us, though we have no way of doing anything until Monday when our bank reopens and can reimburse us for the money that was stolen from us. No one in customer service can help us (they can't process the order but not ship until after we make payment on Monday, they won't honor today's promotion on Monday due to our special circumstance, nothing). They stated that "corporate" makes the rules and they have no idea how I can reach corporate to discuss the matter. Without the promotion, we will be charged full price for the phones on Monday, which will cost us an additional $300.00. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

    I hope that you aren't complaining about dropped calls INSIDE your condo because no amount of switching or upgrading devices will solve that.
    VZW will not guarantee service inside of any structure. There are just too many factors. If the problem is inside then you might want to look at one of the following:
    1.) Network Extender (may cause issues for others in a condo or apartment style setting)
    2.) A Google Voice Number (Free with a Gmail email address), downloading Google Hangouts Dialer and forwarding your calls to the GVN so that you can make and receive calls over Wi-Fi.

    As CRM does not support accounting directly, CRM transaction is not available for checking Customer balances and payments.
    You have to use  backend transaction FBL5N to check that.

    Ok so in about January or Feburary, I had a gift card which i used to get some music. I went over balance and now im worried that the balance would have increased. does anyone know if thats the case?

    Your gift card must be worth more money than your outstanding balance. If your balance is over 15 dollars, then your credit will not go to paying your balance. Check and see whether your balance is more than 15 dollars.

    I just checked my online statement for BT and it states that I have an outstanding balance of £140.80.
    Now, I'm assuming what it's done is charged me for 3 months at once - which  I suppose is fine, but I'm just looking for confirmation. See, I receive my latest account no April 16 (I actually joined sometime before that, around the end of May if I remember correctly, but when I asked if I could go from Package 2 to Package 3, you decided to disconnect my phoneline... credit to you, you admitted your mistake and we moved on, I'm just mentioning it as it's important for the scenario) and paid what I thought was for the first 3 months (First 3 months free, but you pay for the line rental)
    I did that with no problems at all. That's all paid for.
    That was on April 16th, paid for 3 months. Now 3 months from that date is 16th July (Although the account was made on the 6th I think, so it'd be up to 6th July). So I assumed that my outstanding balance would be £00.00 up until that date, and on that date it would go up to the monthly cost. (Which would be somewhere between £40-50 if I remember correctly.
    Instead it states £140.80. Here is a screenshot.

    Now, the number is alarming enough. Then it states I need to pay by the 17th of April? Surely that's a mistake?
    Anyway, I also noticed that the next bill is due on the 6th of October.
    What I am assuming is that I have received a £140 outstanding balance as that's what I am required to pay for July, August and September. If that's the case...
    a) Do I need to pay immediately, or just before 6th October
    b) Is there anyway to make it so I can pay 1 month at a time?
    Now what I'm fearing is this...
    When I made the first account I didn't realise how much bandwidth I actually used, so I asked to upgrade it. The lady on the phone apparently misheard that is "Disconnect my phoneline".
    Don't worry, some Irish lad sorted that out for me and explained it, and then gave me a new account (a new account, I didn't upgrade the old one). I then assumed that seeing as it was a new account I was re-eligible for the 3 months free deal that was going with it; thus meaning that the £140.80 is the cost for the first 3 months that I thought I was getting free.
    If you'd be willing to enlighten me on this I'd be very grateful. If you need any more info just let me know.

    i have an outstanding balance of $16.31. Ive updated my credit card information to pay it even though im using the same card i always have. But it doesnt ask if i want to use the card to pay the current balance off. can anyone help me. am i doin something wrong.

Please provide valid payment card information and lick Done to pay your outstanding balance..." . So what am i supposed to do? how i can use my account continue..Please help me!

    You will need to put in a valid payment method e.g. a credit card (I don't think that debit cards are still accepted) that is registered to the same name and address as on your iTunes account and was issued by a bank in that country, or possibly (if they are available in your country) you may be able to use iTunes gift cards - until any outstanding amounts have been paid you won't be able to buy or download content from the store.

    The problem is that iTunes allowes you to spend a certain amount on Gift cards/prepaid cards even if there is only $1 balance left on the card. It doesn't chack to see how much money you have left on the card, only that it can pre authorize for $1 only. Purchases of about $37 or less aren't charged right away at purchase allowing these negative balances.

    I have an outstanding balance of $35.95, and have been trying to pay it off with my mastercard gift card. I have two, and each has about $16 on it. Is there any way I could pay some of it off with both of the cards?
    (It keeps declining it when I try, saying "We were unable to authorize your credit card for this purchase." HELP!

    To the best of my knowledge, the iTunes Store does not accept gift cards from other issuers, only true credit cards and debit cards or iTunes prepaid cards. I'd suggest you get iTunes cards and redeem those; that should take care of your balance. Many retailer carry iTunes cards, including most grocery store chains, and you should be able to use those Mastercard gift cards to purchase that way.

    I have an outstanding balance on my iTunes account somehow, and o can't download anything or update anything on my phone, it just tells me to update my card info and then tells me my security code is invalid. Which it's not. I could update my stuff on the computer but I had to uncheck the box that says "authorize this card to pay the outstanding balance on your account" I have enough money to pay the balance, but I just wanna know know
    How to pay the dang thing so I can fix everything and make it so
