OVD - configuring multiple adapters not working

Hello
I have an OVD (11.1.1.6.0) installation on Linux. I have configured two LDAP adapters (Oracle_Internet_Directory) in it.
Now when I try 'ldapsearch' to test the connection, I see that users from only one ldap server is getting authenticated.
For example lets say I have adapters A and B configured in OVD, and when I check authentication with only 'A' in active status, it works fine.
Similarly , if I disable A and activate B, then authentication from B works fine.
But if I activate both A and B, then only one of them is authenticating. Any clues on what could be going wrong?
I am completely new to Oracle virtual directory. Played with it a bit, but with no luck :(
To give you some more details about the setup, both the LDAP adapters map to the same domain (data and hosts are different). That is, the 'root' and 'remote base' of both adapters are same (like dc=a,dc=b,dc=com)

Hi T2,
If you have properly configured the LDAP adapters in OVD; then you should be able to authenticate against both LDAP servers.
Is it possible for you to search for users in ODSM User Interface after you add both LDAP adapters?
If you are successfully able to search users from both adapters then you should be able to authenticate as well.

Multiple DHCP on Multiple VLAN not working

Hi there;
In my core network switch, I have multiple VLANs, I have these command to assign to DHCP pools. I configured a port on my core switch for DMZ_VLAN and when I connect my computer to this port, I can get the ip address from the dmz_vlan dhcp pool. Because I assigned an IP address to the interface of vlan 192, then I found that one of my server "192.168.0.100" connection dropped, I cannot ping this server on the dmz VLAN, and it cannot provide the http service as usual until I remove the "interface vlan 192" from the switch. Why? However; without this command, I cannot receive the 192.168.0.0 network IP from the pool.

Sorry for the delay as I got busy with work. If your layer 3 switch is the default gateway for VLAN 192 then the default-router for the DHCP scope should be the IP address of the layer 3 switch interface (192.168.0.254). With that being said, the FW DMZ_192 interface, the switch SVI for VLAN 192 and the DMZ server should all be in the same broadcast domain, thus they should be able to reach each other.
So, can you confirm with me exactly what does not work on the server configured with VLAN 192 and a static IP? For instance,
1. Can you ping the server from the L3 switch
2. Can you ping the server from the FW
3. Can the server ping 192.168.0.1 and 192.168.0.254
4. Can the server ping the outside world? For instance, www.google.com and 4.2.2.2
5. Have you tried taking a test PC, connecting to the switchport configured for VLAN 192 and see if you get an IP address from the DHCP scope

JMS & File adapters not working after SPS20 update

Hello,
after an update to SPS20, which was proposed by SAP support to resolve an
issue with the CPA cache, the File adapter sender and receiver and the
JMS adapter sender are not working any more, however JMS receiver
adapters are still functional. In communication monitoring the error
message for the file receiver is:
Message processing failed. Cause:
com.sap.engine.services.ejb.exceptions.BaseEJBException: Exception in
method process.
resp. for the file sender:
Attempt to process file failed with
com.sap.engine.services.ejb.exceptions.BaseEJBException: Exception in
method process.
and for the JMS adapter I006_GX1TG_JMS_Sender:
Error while processing message 'db056357-5232-4c35-028e-bc51fa858038';
detailed error description:
com.sap.aii.adapter.jms.api.channel.filter.MessageFilterException:
Exception in method process.: BaseEJBException: Exception in method
process. at

when invoking an ftp sender channel, polling works, the files are
retrieved from the server, but after that, we get an error. What could be
the cause of this behaviour?

Hi Srikanth,
You should map the node of the target side(the one which you want to occur multple times) to the node of the source side based upon which the target side node has to occur multiple times. For example lets say our source and target side structures are like this:
<Source>
 <Element1>
 <Element2>
 <Element3>
</Source>
<Target>
 <Element1>
 <Element2>
 <Element3>
</Target>
Now if you want Target to occur n times if Source node occurs n times, you should map Target node to the Source node. Even in case you want that Element1 of target side should occur as many times as many times you have Element1 of Source side, you should do the same.

Multiple event not working in interactive report

Hi Experts,
I am developing a interactive report used Set-PFstatus '100' , AT user-command and At line-selection in a single program.
Here At line-selection is not working but at user-command is working fine.
After commenting set-PF ststus '100' event at line selection is working.
Ii want at to use at-user command and at line-selection both to work with set pf-status.
Please help me out.

You can use these events together but in case while
creating your GUI status for your program you have
to give Function Code 'PICK' with F2 short cut key
because for at line selectino double click 'PICK' function
code is trigerred.

Multiple panels not working properly

I've added an additional read less at the bottom of each tab panel on the page.

1. The page opens with the #2 & 3 tabs open, even though they are set to false.
2. The read less function does not work properly with tabs 2 & 3.
I'm new to Spry and .js and pieced this together based on what I could find in the forums.

There are a few problems that I have noticed so far.
Line #1 <!doctype html5> is not recognised, hence the page will revert back to HTML 4.01 Transitoinal. It should read <!doctype html>
Line #51 (links to) style rules should be placed in the <head> element, not in the <body> element
Lines #124, #159 and #188 all link to the same JS file. Delete two of them.
Lines #126, #161 and #207 contain a constructor for the same widget. The former two should be deleted.
Lines #190 and #208 contain a constructor for the same widget. The former should be deleted
Although JS can be placed anywhere in a document, I tend to place all JS at the bottom, just above the ending body tag (</body>) unless the JS is required for rendering purposes in which case it should be placed where it is required. This way, you can keep check of what you have linked to and which constructors you have created thus eliminating the problems mentioned above.
Also you might like to have a look at a collapsible panel group http://labs.adobe.com/technologies/spry/samples/collapsiblepanel/CollapsiblePanelGroupSamp le.html. This will simplify the code somewhat.

Multiple Actions not working for DPS

I've created a box and made it into a button. I've assigned two actions to this button:
If I have both actions checked, it works fine in the preview within InDesign, but does not work on the desktop Content Viewer and it does not work when uploaded to the iPad.
If I uncheck either box, it works well in all scenarios. Any ideas.

No Bob, it does not. It just has two states:
"menorah blank": A white box on the page that is "invisible" since it blends in with the page color.
"menorah popup": A pop up box with the graphics. There is an invisible box (but not within the "menorah" MSO" that sits above the red "x" box to send the "menorah" MSO back to it's blank state. Could this be the problem?

After Windows 10 Pro N succesfull update all Network Adapters not working and not showing up

Hi all, After succesfully installing the new Windows 10 Pro N onto my Windows 8.1 Pro N operating system and restarting the system, I realized that all drivers are migrated succesfully, withouht any incompatibility issue, but none of the network adapters were working, so no WiFi, no LAN connection was ready to be used, checking the list of available network adapters showed an empty list. I am using a ThinkPad T520 laptop. I have tried to update all drivers from a USB, had several restarts, but no result. Any ideas I could use to get Windows 10 up-n-running with network connections? Multiple magsafe adapters not working with multiple mbps

I have two retina macbook pro 13" laptops, the more recent one being a late 2013 model. Neither one of them seems to respond to magsafe adapters consistently anymore (i've used four magsafe2 adapters and both machines). light doesn't come on or sometimes comes on. currently, i can sometimes get power but in the "not charging" state. But if i pull the adapter and reseat it doesn't always even do that. i've reset the SMC and also reset the PRAM. Neither one has changed this. Any thoughts?

I'm having a similar issue, but cannot see anything to do with airplay in the SysPref > Sound menu. My mac is too old to run Yosemite, so looking to find another way to get this fixed. Any ideas?

Adapters not working

Iam working on PI 7.0 . When Iam configuring I can find adapters .
But , after configuration is over , when Iam trying to see the adapter status in
RUNTIME WORK BENCH , I dont find any adapters.
Any configuration settings need to be done .

Have you check if your CCs are visible in XI runtime cache - SXI_CACHE, under Communication Channels?
If not try to refresh the cache: Menu -> XI Runtime Cache -> ... Delta ... or ... Full ...
