Do we buy the next great sound card and throw away our $300.00+ old card. Or do you get off your colecti've asses and make this card work the way it supposed to I read that your in?bad for money, gee that's a suprise. The way you treat your customers it's a wonder your not bankrupt. Well this will the LAST sound card I ever buy from you guys unless I see some support & concern from you. Except your logic is flawed.
They have released drivers. And for the most part, the drivers work. It's been evidenced by Daniel K's Audigy driver pack.
Why would they need to release drivers everyday when the drivers they have published are working? Your defense of not buying a Mercedes without an engine is flawed given that the drivers work. If you were to apply proper logic to that sort of analogy, it would be closer to you asking me... say... you wouldn't buy a Mercedes without a jet engine would you?
And the answer is I would. Because I don't need a jet engine. Just like you don't really need new drivers everyday. You're expecting constant driver releases for a product that's over 3 years old.
Why don't you complain to nVidia or ATi with their unified driver packs? The best working drivers for their 3+ year old drivers are over a year old as well.
If you want a very specific feature, tough. Creative's job isn't to pander to every little request just because you spam the forums requesting it. It doesn't make it popular or the desire of the majority. Nor do you know whether or not your request would break every other feature. As Creative hasn't blocked it and has allowed driver modification, even allowing the links posted on their own forums, if you feel you really need a jet engine for your Mercedes that badly, you could just modify it yourself.Message Edited by keLston on 0-29-200708:2 PM

If you have more than one user account, these instructions must be carried out as an administrator.
Launch the Console application in any of the following ways:
☞ Enter the first few letters of its name into a Spotlight search. Select it in the results (it should be at the top.)
☞ In the Finder, select Go ▹ Utilities from the menu bar, or press the key combination shift-command-U. The application is in the folder that opens.
☞ Open LaunchPad. Click Utilities, then Console in the icon grid.

I replaced an old Itouch with a new one, and now Itunes will not recognize the new one.

After effects instantly crashes while using opengl with nvidias new drivers 178.24

Since I installed nvidias new drivers 178.24, after effects instantly crashes while using opengl. Anyone else experienced this?
I have Geforce 8600 GT.
As a minor note, I had major problems with the new quicktime 7.5.5 update, both After effects and Premiere got problems with interpreting footage and frames here and there got the "missing frame" look. I also got more problems so I uninstalled it instantly. Is there a major problem with the update or a major problem with me?

Sorry not to give more info on the Quicktime problem, I don't remember exactly what more problems there where as we have had extremely much to do these last couple of weeks and I just freaked out and uninstalled it as soon as the problems emerged. I do remember the frame issue however, it was very clear, i imported an image sequence in premiere and everything worked fine, then i updated and frames were suddenly dropped, then i uninstalled and installed 7.5 again and it worked just fine. I also tried to flush the cache, restart and generally search for the source of the problem for a couple of hours.

Really you need to post the exact model. Some of these old iMac can be upgraded OSX in theory, but in practice it's likely to be glacially slow and not worth doing.
The problem with USB dongles of any sort is that they need drivers, and it's fairly unlikely you will be able to get OS9 drivers now. However, it's worth researching - if you could get that to work OS9 would be fine for web browsing as long as you don't want to do some of the more advanced things. Ordinary sites will work fine. Things like .Mac's Web Gallery won't.
If your iMac is one of these it may have an ethernet socket. if so, Linksys make a wireless bridge which will connect your wireless network to ethernet without needing drivers, and it should be possible to set this up as a network connection.

TS2755 I have 3 phones on one Icloud account. It has been this way for over a year with no issues. After and update on of the lines started getting text messages from all 3 phones. We fixed the send and receive and it was fixed. It is doing it again.

Yesterday after two hours on the phone I changed my apple id and it is still happening. Before that Verizon had told me to turn off my imessage when that happened I could not get any texts at all from other Iphone users.

Make 3 different iCloud accounts and use ONLY for iMessage. That will permanently fix your issue.

HT201342 I'd like to know why they keep making MORE ACCOUNTS!? They wanted you to make a 'Mobile Me' account, then they were suppose to combine the me account with a new me account; now an icloud account.

My original iTunes account was set up using my ISP address, then Apple wanted me to make a 'Mobile Me' account to place stuff in a 'Cloud'; then they did away with 'Mobile Me', and made another cloud and wanted me to use another address. My understanding was that the orignal 'Mobile Me' address was going to be consolidated with the newer 'Me' address, then all my addresses were duplicated more than once. Now I have my orignal ISP address, the mobileme.com address, two or maybe three 'Me.com' addresses, and now a 'iC

Switching to the @icloud.com email address will not affect the AppleID you use for the AppStore in any way whatsoever.
The new @icloud.com address is part of the iCloud account which you currently have the same @me.com email address for.
Nothing at all to do with the AppleID(s) you use for iTunes/AppStore (unless you have the one and only AppleID you use for both).
At most you should have only two AppleIDs. One for iCloud (which iCloud syncing, and your @me.com/@icloud.com email addresses are attached to) and one for the iTunes/AppStore (which your app, music, movie etc purchases are tied to).
There has never been a reason for you to have multiple AppleIDs for purchases from the AppStore/iTunes Store.
