Over Delivery Block

Respected Friends,
i have Scenario that my Organization Want to Block Over Delivery Mean That:
the Quantity in the Sales Order Must be equal to Delivery Quantity.
For Example:
Sales Order Quantity : 10 Kg
Delivery Quantity : Must Not Be be greater 10Kg the System Should Give the Error message
These are the Following Ways i have used But of No Use:
1) OVLP :     Checked the Picking  Option for TAN

Hi all
I am facing the same issue now. The system is not issuing an error message when delivery quantity exceeds order quantity and its letting me creating the delivery document and complete PGI. I have checked all the settings discussed in this thread.
1.  0VLP Check Overdelivery is set to "B"
2.  In VTLA, 'pos/neg' indicator is set to "+" sign for item category TAN (OR --> LF)
3. Maintained the overdelivery tolerance limits in customer master.
However when I set the 0VLP Check Overdelivery indicator to "A" instead, I am atleast getting a warning message. While it was B, I wasn't getting any message.
I don't know what else could be missing or wrong. Any inputs would be highly appreciated.
Thanks
Vamsi

  • Delivery Block through Quality Notification

    Friends,
Can you explain me the procedure and delivery block? (Integration with SD)
Is it possible to block delivery through Quality Notifications?
    Pl. guide........

    hii sandy,
Why do you want to block delivery through Notification only?
pls illustrate, there might be some alternative solution.
    By the way;
If you want a control over SD, for delivery you can use Control key 0005 in QM material master for a material. assign inspection type 10.
you will get Insp. lot after Outbound Delivery creation by SD, and unless and untill you clear that insp. lot SD cant do PGI (Post goods Issue).

  • Delivery Block Based on Payment Card validity.

    Dear SAP Gurus,
We are working on a scenario, where in we need to block the delivery based on the payment card validity date, which is given in sales order.
The requirement here is, for eg. If a sales order is created during the payment card validity period, usually the partial deliveries referring the same SO. So if the card validity is over before the quantity is fully delivered, system should block the remaining qty for Delivery.
The system is proposing a status block initially while trying to do the delivery, but once the block is released the delivery can be done even after the validity expiry date.
Is there any standard process to block delivery based on Payment card Validity expiry date automatically.
    Please advice
    Thanks & Regards
    PG

    Hi Mr. PG,
Put the payment method as P - Payment card in customer master.
Enter the payemnt card detail in customer master in genral data page.
Use user exit or create a program which check the validty date of payment card and if it is expired then put the delivery block in the customer master.
    Hope this helps.

  • Over Delivery tolerance

    Dear Friends,
We have a requirement.Ie; Once OBD is created for the schedule qty in the T.Code : VL10F for STO Sch agreements/ STO purchase orders.I go VL02N screen for Manual picking. In this screen for example the sch line qty is 100 .I am able to change it to 1000 and dispatch the material which results in Excess deliveries. Is there a provision to block the changes that are made in the delivery qty field.
Also i tried the following method to over come this issue by
-Setting the field check over delivery with option B(Situation Rejected with error Message ) in Delivery item category.
-Have set the overdelivery tolerance in the ship to party master.
Though i have set  the Tolerance in the ship to party master it doesnt flow to the STO PO/Sch agreement .
Is my approach right or anything else can be done to over come this issue.
    Regards,
    K.vivek

    Hi K.vivek
The functionality to check the overdelivery of purchase orders is not available. The configuration for the delivery item category to check the overdelivery is only used for sales orders but not for purchase orders.
The customising settings you refer to are only relevant for deliveries created with reference to sales orders. The note 548914 does provide a modification which you may like to consider.

  • Report generation for Delivery Blocked Orders

    Hi All,
I am trying to pull up a report which should contain only orders with the Delivery Block.
Through VL06O i can get the orders which need to PGIed, which are open, which are stuck in workflow and which have got delivery block.
So is it possible to separate the delivery blocked orders (from an end user point of view) from the other orders. I tried to have a look at the filters which i could put on the VL06O-> Outbound Deliv. for PGI, but couldn't find it.
can any one help in thi regard.
    Thank you in advance.

    Hi,
Try report V.02 - Incomplete Orders

  • Delivery block in sale order

    Hi,
I got a problem with registration of a sale order with a BAPI : it set automatically a delivery block , and this not happen when using VA01.
After create the order, for this one will be insert a technical object (serial number) and made some other change (always using BAPIs) like the requested delivery date or some texts.
There is not any block set in customizing (tab. TVAK) for that type of order.
If this was true, the block should have been set even using VA01,or not ?
    Thank you in advance.
    Luca

I mean your order gets DB if created via BAPI and does not get any DB if created via VA01, right ?   What DB did your order get when was created via BAPI ?
Is it your custom DB or SAP DB ?  Do you have any special logic in userexits to apply DB in some cases ?   If you have any logic which applies DB - does it have a check for sy-tcode ?

  • Standard T Code to release list of sales orders in 'Delivery Block'

    Dear All,
Is there any standard transaction code in SAP which provides the facility to release list of sales orders in 'Delivery Block'. (Additional information - List of sales orders in 'Delivery block' is available in V.14,however it does not have release facility).
For example, VKM3 gives the list of sales orders in 'Credit block' with release facility. On the same lines, is there any standard T code or any other facility in standard SAP which provides the facility to release list of sales orders in 'Delivery Block'.
    Thanks and Regards,
    Zahid

As already suggested, if you execute VA14L you can see all sale orders that are blocked at
    -  header level
    -  item level
    -  credit check
Wherever you see "X" under the tab Header level, double click on the respective sale order, so that system will take you to sale order in change mode.  You can remove the header level delivery block and save.
    thanks

  • Prevent Outbound delivery creation in sales orders with delivery block

    Hi gurus
We are facing the following issue:
Some sales orders have delivery block header and once they are saved an outbound delivery document is created; we want SAP system creates outbound deliveries only in those cases were sales orders have not a delivery block in header, is there any option or configuration we can use in order to prevent the creation of these documents?
    Regards,
    Edgar.

    Well Edgar,
    let's see then in spro
Logistics Execution->Shipping->Deliveries->Define Reasons for Blocking in Shipping
Check out the configuration of your delivery block reason and pay special attention to this instruction:
"In sales documents, you can either enter delivery blocks manually at header level (business data in the sales document header) or they can be proposed automatically by the system. In the latter case, the delivery block must be entered in the respective sales document type (see chapter
"Define sales document types"). In addition, the delivery block in the sales document header is only effective if the delivery block has been assigned to the respective delivery type."
It must be something in the configuration of the delivery block reason you're using.

    Edgar

    Hi Balaji,
Thanks for your reply. Please find the below example.
Customer A was blocked for credit limit on 01.01.2011 and subsequently released using VKM3.
Again the same customer was blocked on 02.01.2011 and once again released.

  • Delivery Block

    Hi,
In the delivery blocking reasons(SPRO,sd,basic functions, TOR,block quantity confirmation in delivery blocks(ovz7)).   Here I had seleceted the delivery block and checked the box for confirmation Block and assigned to the sales document type. But still in the sales order, it is showing the confirmed schedule lines. In va02 in schedule lines i donot want confirmed schedule lines. But here why it is showing still the confirmed schedule lines?
    Thanks

    Hi Keyur,
If you have activated the delivery block in OVZ7, then after saving your order the confirmed quantities will be reset to zero. Once you remove the block, again A.Check will happen and your quantities will get confirmed.
As you have activated the check box in ovz7 it should not give confirmed quantities in va02. Just see if you have assigned the delivery block in your sales order type or not.
    Regards

  • Credit Release thru VKM3 remove the schedule line delivery block ...

    HI Gurus,
I have created the sales order with the delivery block at the schedule line. i have save the order . The order goes to the credit block . So when i release credit block with the help of VKM3 then system also removes the schedule line level block.
This is not std behaviour . Can any one come across such scenario ?
Details: I have removed the routine 101 in the OVB8 so that if order goes to credit block still order will have the confirm qty.
Also in the OVAK order type is mark D for automatic credit check.
    Thanks in advance

    Hi ,
I have checked the sales order thru the program but we are not using any user exit for the same.
Now i have found that if the qty is confirm on the first date i mean on the date given then system does not remove the block & if the ATP check suggest the diff date so there are two schedule line in this case block get removed ..
May be this is like after credit removes system must be running the ATP check again ..
    Please help

  • How to set delivery block in va01 by not use delivery block reason.

    Dear SAP Gurus.
I have one scenario. I need to do delivery block on sales order while i create sales order via VA01.
Normally, I use delivery block reason in header and set delivery block in schedule line.
In addtion, i dont want to use above method and not use complete delivery (Tick on it)
So, I would like to know it has other way to do delivery block.
The cause is my manager do not allow to use  this field from company's policy.
Please help me to solve this problem.
Thank you in advance for your kindly help.
    Best Regards,
        Surakit

    Surakit,
Well, do you want to say that user should not manually user delivery block at header or sch line to block the doc or any other method manually done before saving the sales order.
In that case, for making default delivery block at header, in Sales doc type (TCode VOV8) in Shipping section, maintain a delivery block as 22-Statutory Compliance(even any other option available) or for Item based block on Sch line cat (TCode VOV6) maintain default delv block there.
Or if I misunderstood your requirement then we can wait & see other solution coming for the same.
    Thanks & Regards

  • How to update delivery block in delivery(vl02n) using BAPI

    hi all,
i have to update delivery block of a delivery using a BAPI. can any one suggest which bapi i have to use. and if possible let me know what are the mandatory fields that i have to fill in that bapi.
    thank you all in advance

    HI,
    Use the BAPI BAPI_OUTB_DELIVERY_CHANGE..
Pass the delivery number DELIV_NUMB in both HEADER_DATA and HEADER_CONTROL..
In HEADER_DATA-DLV_BLOCK pass the delivery block.
    In HEADER_CONTROL-DLV_BLOCK_FLG pass 'X'
    Thanks
