Work scheduling view is only for in house produced material, it won't affect for RM

  • Unlimited over delivery for non stock items

for PO item without SAP material number, where to default "UNLIMITED over delivery allowed" in background

    HI,
You may create the purchase info record for the material, vendor, purchasing org, plant. and Under the purchasing data, you may tick the checkbox "Unlimited".
Once the info record is created, and when you create the PO which matching with the vendor, material, purchasing ord and plant, then the PO will automatically pick the info record and the under the "Delivery" tab, the "Unlimited" checkbox will be ticked automatically by the system.
To create info record, go ME11, or ME12 for change, ME13 for display. To easy checking the existing info record in the system, you may use ME1M.

  • Over payments/Under payments for customers

COnfigured the foll for over payments/underpayments for customer:
    OBA3 - Maintained toerlances
OBBE - Configured reason code -check marked "charge off difference via separate GL account
OBXL- Assigned reason code to GL account XXXXXX
Ran F-28, still the over payment does not post to the GL account XXXXXX. All it does is it credits the customer for the overpayment amount in new line item.
what am I missing here. we want the over payments and under payments to go this GL account XXXXXX, not to customer account.
The gl account created also has been "Post automaticallyonly" check marked.
    please help.

yes it is defined as P&L account.it is posting now to gl account for over payment only. when i do an underpayment like $99 and invocie amount is $100, it gives message "difference is too large for clearing". I have configured tolerances, still it throws this message for Under Payments only. Is there any separate place where we configure the under payments for customers. we have only one gl account to whcih we want to post both over payments and under payments

  • Subcontract Process: Over Delivery is happening

    Hi Friends
I have configured for  two delivery item categories in order to avoid  over delivery as below .
ZTAN ;   B Situation rejected with an error mess
Note: Delivery Item category u201CZTANu201D is for normal business scenario , first sales order followed by delivery .
LBN : B Situation rejected with an error mess.
Note: Delivery item category u201CLBNu201D  Subcontract process , first Purchase requisition and PO are created , followed by subcontract delivery, LB .
Even though  I made this configuration setting for delivery item category , for avoiding over delivery , LB delivery is not throwing any error , it is simply accepting over delivery.
I.e , when  are only 100 quantities in PO , at delivery level system is accepting 1000 quantities  despite over delivery configuration settings .
Can I request you to  help on  how to control over delivery for subcontract process ?  .
    Thanks In Advance
    Jaya

    Dear Jaya
Subcontracting is basically a MM process and initiated by a purchase order and not by sales oder
Thedelivery item category controls ( 0VLP) or zero VLP controls will not work at all
Delivery item category controls will work only if the delivery process is triggered with sales order and will not work for purchase orders even the STO is also purchase order only there also over delivery can not be controlled by zero VLP controls
So in your case also it will not work
It needs to be done thro userexit or development
But from MM side they have a lot of specific controls for delivery tolerances for purchase orders like over delivery tolerance and under delivery tolerance etc like some % defined
    Check with your MM colleague
    Hope this information helps you

  • GI for over delivery and under delivery

Could you please reply to the following query
It should be possible to post the GI for an outbound delivery if the quantity effectively picked is over or under the requested quantity.
where is the control for this?Where we set this in the standard SAP scenario?
The goods isssue is applicable foe sales orders stock transport orders.
    Thanks

    Dear anil
Go to 0vlp (zero), select your item category and click on magnifying lens on top. Now under the tab "Quantity", you can see a field "Check overdelivery". There if you want the system to give a warning message, maintain "A" and if you want to have error message without proceeding further, maintain "B" and save.
    thanks

  • Authorization for PO fields of over delivery and under delivery tolerance

Hi,Any one know how to set authorization for PO fields of over delivery and under delivery tolerance?
For example to allow certain user to edit the these fields but other users will be only display mode.

Better create variant for restricting fields over & under delivery tolerance for certain users than applying authorization.

  • Under & Over Delivery Tolerance.........

    Hi there ,
I have maintained the Under & over delivery tolerance of the material in the work scheduling view....... but when I am creating the Process Order of the material...... in the goods recipt view in Process order it is still showing me zero percentage as Under & Over Delivery Tolerance
Do I have to mention the same tolerances some where else also ....... what can be the reason behind this abberation .......
    Please help me .....
    Thanks
    Kaushik

    Kaushik,
I dont think it is possibel to check all the persons who have changed. But if table logging is active in your system you could check the changes from transaction SCU3. In this transaction choose evaluate logs, choose Evaluate for tables, enter the table name AFPO. In output options choose Only actual changes and append table changes and Also evaluate check boxes. Enter the start and end date/ time. And then execute. You would get the user name, change date/ time, old and new values.
If table logging is not active in your system, for future you may ask your ababp/basis team to activate it for the important tables you require and create a report query to find the changes made.
    Hope above is useful.

    Dear All,

Can any one tell me the reason. so far I cant change the delivery quantity even delivery page is not appear, message appear before that.
    Regards.

    Dear All,

  • Over and Under Delivery Tolerance Defaults

    Hi !
Is there a way to provide a default Over and Under Delivery Tolerance % at Company Code or Purchising Org level?
If yes, please let me know what the menu path is to make that setting.
Our tolerance for Over delivery is 10% standard across the board and we would rather not have to enter it separately in every Purchasing Info Record.
I understand that I could use Purch Val Keys, but we are trying to avoid that as well.
    Appreciate the help!
    Thanks,
    Anisha.

    Hi anisha,
    Try using this way.
SPRO-MM-PURCHASING--PURCHASE ORDER--SET TOLERANCE LIMITS FOR PRICE VARIANCE
Here u can finalize the upper and lower limits as 5%. the PO shall automatically pick up the same.
Using Purchase value keys is preferred in u r case.
SPRO- MM - PURCHASING - MATERIAL MASTER - DEFINE PURCHASING VALUE KEYS - NEW ENTRIES Define a purchasing value key which has over and under delivery tolerance as 10% in GR/IR controls
and assign this purchasing value key in the material master to which you want to allow 10% variation.
    Hope this helps.
    Regards,
    Nani.

  • Is it under delivery / over delivery unlimited header fields in CONTRACT?

    Hi All
is it under delivery / over delivery unlimited header fields in CONTRACT?
since in SRM Contract i do have this fields both in item as well as header level?
i have searched screen fields but could not figure out exactly.
if rellay avaialble both arena , which one will be considered while Good receipt?
Can any one confirm the same?
    br
    Muthu

    Hi
Delivery tolerances are at item level. Not at header level in contract. You can see it in item details in GRIR control tab. You should pass your header details from SRM to all items of that contract at item level. Because delivery happens at item level not header level. So tolerence should be at item level.
You cannot make a GR for a contract. There will be contract release order (purchase order) there also you have tolerance fields at item level. Tolerance will be defaulted in release order when it is made. it can be edited also. During GR tolerances are checked with PO only

  • Under and over delivery tolerance are not defaulted from Info record

Under and over delivery tolerance are not defaulted from Info record. Does purchasing value key in material master has precedence over info record.
What are the settings I have to check.
    Thnaks and regards,
    Suranjana

No, Info records has precedence on PO than material master
please check your info record and than verify the PO's plant and info record plant
you might have more than one inforecord per plant for same vendor and material.
so please check you have right value in right info record as per the PO vendor, mateiral and plant and Purchase org

  • Over Delivery Tolerance for schedule agreements

    Hi,
we have overdelivery tolerance of 10%  in schedule agreement and system is allowing to do GR for more the the over delivery tolerance.
can any one tell me how to get the error message while doing GR for more than the over delivery tolerance in case of schedule agreements.

See OSS Note 874264 - MB01/MIGO: Default quantity for goods receipt posting
    3. The basis used for calculating the over or under delivery tolerance is the quantity ordered, in case of purchase orders, and the suggested quantity, in the case of scheduling agreements. If you want the system response to be the same for scheduling agreements as it is for purchase orders (that is, you need more generous tolerances) see also the SAP Consulting Note 741385.
For items with a confirmation control key, the basis for the calculation of the over or under delivery tolerance is the quantity ordered or the total of the schedule line quantities.

  • Uder delivery and over delivery tolerance....for matl

    Hi,
Is it possible to maintain uder and over delivery tolerance for matl. If yes then please explain how?
I will award for each points.
    regards,
    Imran Shek

    Hi,
    At Material master level:
    1. Maintain under delivery / over delivery tolerance in percentage in Material master Work scheduling view. U can use the indicator Unlimited instead of Over delivery tolerance if needed. (Indicator that specifies whether the quantity actually delivered may infinitely exceed the required production order quantity)
    At production order level:
2 . Maintain Under delivery / Over delivery tolerance in percentage in Production Order Goods receipts tab for Finished/semi finished material.
Customization settings to get warning message:
In customization, OPK4(Parameters for Order confirmation), for the plant and order type, maintain Warning when Quantity falls below Under delivery tolerance and Warning when Over delivery tolerance is Exceeded.
By these settings you can able to give over delivery quantity and System prompts you whether this quantity is within the specified delivery tolerance or not with Warning message.
But If Delivery tolerance is varying from order to order it is suggestible to have the same settings at order level.
Hope this clears all your doubts.
    Regards
    Venkat
