Over printing in InDesign wont print out text

When I cut and paste content that was provided by a 3rd party into my InDesign document it looks fine on screen but doesn't print. Only individual letter boxes print out. I get an Alert screen saying it is Over Type but I don't know how to rectify the problem. Print to PDF creates the same results.

Over type... I guess you mean overset text, and that means the text frame is
too small to display all of the text (contents).... make the text frame
larger.
Now if it's not printing properly, it's probably not 100 K. check the
separations palette in ID, the fix the orginal colors if necessary

Super_Dad_of_twins That's a great question. Many people are looking for ways to print text messages. What we can recommend is that you forward the text to your email account and print them that way. You can research third party applications for other options besides email. Please keep us posted.

1. Off hand, I would say that you could, depending how much trouble you want to go thru. I am not sure about your iPhone 5c, but I have done so with my iPad 2. I guess the main thing you would need is various difference e-mail addresses on various devices. In which case, I just send myself a text message from one device to another, which is connected to a printer.
2. Something else that would help, if you had an e-printer. I do not have one myself, but from what I understands, you just send your text message like an e-mail to the e-printer. Then it prints out the text message.
3. Furthermore, you might want to check out "Google Cloud Print" at http://www.google.com/cloudprint. It has difference options you can choose from. So you can use this app with an e-printer, or you can use it with a classic (non-e-printer) instead. As far as myself goes, I have it configured to work with a classic printer. And it does just fine, with good results.

SMS text messages are backed up with the iPhone - whether it's locally or to iCloud. If you've already written over the backup that had them (as in, backed up after the delete) then they're gone.
If you still have a backup available from a time where you had the messages on your iPhone, all you have to do is erase the iPhone and restore from that backup.
"Retrieve deleted messages from iPhone" is simple as pie.

Your text message content is not available on-line, only the logs. You could forward the messages to your e-mail & print from there, but you'll lose the time/date stamp. There also are apps that will back up texts and forward them to your e-mail.

As Ann said, it does depend on your phone. One third party app that works on many phones (especially older models, but not all phones) is BitPim ( http://www.bitpim.org/ ) but it can potentially harm/brick your phone if you don't know what you are doing - use it with caution. I have used it successfully to get texts and photos off an old flip phone that was deactivated and had no sd card.
Newer smartphones can download apps that will give you the ability to print out texts.

Indesign CS6 - interactive pdf with the hidden image can't be print out

Hi all,
I am creating a interactive pdf with "Hidden until triggered" function when roll over to apper and roll out to disapper and also selected a "printable" function (Button and Forms/ PDF Options/ printable).
The image can be print out when opened in very begining, but after triggering those hide image... those images just cant be print out!
Is it any way to print out the hiden image after triggered?

I just updated my OS to Mavericks, as well as my Pages app. Now my previously created documents print out as blank paper, even tho I can see the text on my desktop.The margins have also been altered. How do I fix this?

I just updated to Mavericks, then updated my Pages App. Now none of my previously created documents print out, except as blank pages, even though I can see the text on the documents, but with altered margins, on my computer screen. How do I fix this so the documents print out normally again?

In a word, yes. In a little more detail.... When you restore from an iCloud backup, you must erase the device and start all over again. There is no other way to access the backup in iCloud without erasing the device. Consequently, you are starting all over again. Therefore, it would also be my assumption that Pages and Numbers will work again and that the deleting apps issues would be fixed as well.
If the documents are not in the backup, and you do not have a backup elsewhere, the documents could be gone forever.

I have my Droid hooked up to my home computer and I'm trying to download ( or print ) a text conversation. Is their a way of doing this? Anyone know???

There are applications in the Play Store that will backup the text messages to an XML file and save it to the phone's storage memory. You can then copy or email the XML file to your computer. On the computer you can open the file in Internet Explorer or another program compatible with XML files. Once open you can print it out to a hard copy.
There are similar application that will backup the text conversations to an email address if you prefer.
