Over the years I have backed up my ifoto albums on discs. Now with the new ifoto in 10.7.5 I can't see the fotos from five year old discs--only a dotted line outline of the fotos, all black and white; no images. What gives? and how can I view them?

Over the years I have backed up my ifoto albums on discs. Now with the new ifoto I cannot see any fotos when I insert the 'old' discs, just dotted lines around where the foto should be. How can I view the fotos? They were backed up for security, but now they are so secure I can't view them! Help!

If you're running iPhoto 9.5 you'll need to follow these directions in order to view disk created by previous versions of iPhoto:
1 - Copy the library from the disk to the Desktop.
2 - Double click on the iPhoto Library Upgrader tool to launch it and select the library on the desktop to convert.
3 - Once that is done you can open it with iPhoto 9.5.

We have three computers in the house--2 crashed before I could deauthorize home sharing. Now, with my new MacAir, the total computers in our household is 3 but home sharing will not allow me to add the other device.

You can de-authorize individual computers, but only by using those computers. Otherwise you can "deauthorize all" from your iTunes account.
Open iTunes on a computer
From the Store menu, select "View my Account..."
Sign in with your Apple ID and password.
Under "Computer Authorizations" select "Deauthorize All".
Authorize each computer you still have, as you may require.
You may only do this once per year.
After you "deauthorize all" your authorized computers, authorize each one as required.

What version of Pages are you referring to?
Basically if you are talking about the Table of Contents in Pages and want to have different character styles within paragraphs in the T.O.C. you will have to export the T.O.C. and bring it back in as text and change that.

You must get 10.6 if they still have it, install it & update to 10.6.8 so you have the App Store to buy & download the huge 10.8 Installer.(10.9/Mavericks is the only download avaiable now without specially calling Apple).

You need to talk to clash of clans first. The game should have a support link.
If they can't/won't help you then you turn to iTunes support.

When you use the Lion restore as described, it does a fresh install on the hard drive that you can select at the beginning of the process. This provides a complete install of the very latest version of Lion, including the recovery partition. The drive that you choose for the installation destination winds up like what you would have on a brand new computer from Apple.

Everywhere that I've checked it is not possible to do this. I would like to even do this using the vkb. I hate having to stretch my thumb all the way up just to send a message. It's messaging, not a report or email. Seems backwards. Hopefully some day Apple can add this option.

I have a new PC (my old one crashed). I can't remember my old username/pword. I tried to set up a new acct. and my I Pod is erased! How can I get the songs back?

My old PC crashed, I bought a new one. When in I tunes on my new PC, I could not remember my old username and password. I created new ones. Then I was instructed to connect my I Pod to my PC via USB, Then I was asked if it was OK for I Tunes to erase all my data on my I Pod, Yes or Cancell. I pressed Cancell. All my 2,700 songs were promptly erased!
How can I retrieve them? I can't remember my original username and password.

It has always been very basic to always maintain a backup copy of your computer for just such an occasion.
Use your backup copy to put everything back.

You need a Time Machine backup to restore an old version. If you don't have one, you'll lose your library because it can only be used with iTunes 11

You need a computer with iTunes and an internet connection

- Restore from backup. See:
iOS: Back up and restore your iOS device with iCloud or iTunes
- Restore to factory settings/new iOS device.

You must go in the labview option menu, you can select 'use the local
separator' in the front side submenu (LV6i).
If you use the "From Exponential/Fract/Eng" vi, you are able to select this
opton (with a boolean) without changing the labview parameters.
