Overcharge on fixed charges (vat change problem?)
My BT bill is 15th Feb, and has a higher than expected fixed charge. These are in advance, and they have to apportion and charge the extra VAT from Jan 1st; however, that isn't much. The bill is complicated by their method, and I asked them to explain the increase. I complained, and although I asked for email, I got a phone call; a foreigner difficult to understand fully. The gist seemed to be that their new accounts package has charged me an extra 6 weeks rental, which is a one-off and won't happen again! After discussion, he is giving me an immediate £20 credit, and a month's free rental. I said that I wasn't really satisfied without a proper explanation, but acceped it provisionally. They're not going to correct the bill. What on earth is going on?
Interesting point about charges being rounded up, it's the same with calls.
The other point that caught my eye was the merging of accounts. I moved away from BT for calls a few years ago but kept broadband with them. Last month I decided to return to BT (Big mistake but that's another story)
When I arranged to return I was told it would all be on my existing account. Then I got a paper bill for 3 months in advance, with all the added charges for non monthly, paper billing etc. Was then told; No we cannot merge them, you will have to go on line and register. (again)
At every turn I have found staff apologising profusely, yet I don't get what I was offered, and they can't provide explanations, all UK and India staff just follow a script that blames "the system".
10 days and still waiting for the service I contracted for.

Client want to charge VAT on Selling Price and in some states on MRP.
I have created one Condition type ZMRP for the Material MRP price.
In the normal scenario VAT will be chaged on the Selling Price:
Selling Price Is the combined Value of
Price - discount= Net price
Selling Price = Net Price EDEcess+Hcess
Total value =Selling Price + VAT
I want to write a Code for the VAT condition type.
For Example:
If system found that the sales order is creatd for the The States Like Bihar,UP,MP,WB is then the VAT will be charged on the ZMRP price of the Matrial.
But my problem is that there is not any separate Condition type for the Selling Price bcos it will come automatically in the Pricing.
Please sugest the programe name and and logic to write the code so that I can fulfil client requirment.

When will Apple Fix this 3.1 problem???
I've got all the same issues with the 3.1 as most do, "failed" calls, battery life, etc. Phone was just fine before 3.1 update... This is just terrible, as I make a living with the phone...I've called apple and went through all the fixes that didn't work... What now?
While talking on the phone, the conversation dies for a period of a couple seconds every 45 seconds or so despite having full bars... The frequency of that type of blackout increases until finally the call "fails" after about 15 minutes. After the first fail, it will fail more frequently following that until I restart the phone... Always with full bars and in areas I've never had that happen. Happens on 8 of 10 phone calls or so. Prior to 3.1 update, I believe I've only had 1 failed call since feb 09 when I got the phone... may be two... I've had dozens and dozens since update last thursday.
Battery life must be 50% of what it used to be a week ago. Talk time in particular has gone down the drain:(
Voicemail box no longer works right. I delete on the iphone, but it won't delete in the "real" mail box, so my mail box is filling up despite visual VM being empty.
Those are the big issues...
I called apple twice. Per apple recommendation, I did a "restore" function on the phone through itunes (from an Imac). Have also synced several times since. Problems not resolved. Reboot phone multiple times. Another "restore" through itunes per apple tech. Call ATT, they had me reset network settings and changed a couple things. They looked for a tethering patch under profile that they said caused a lot of problems with 3.1. I didn't have that patch so there was nothing to remove... After ATT changes, problems still present...
I'm open to ideas and I'm certainly no pro with the iphone... Wish I could get 3.0 back that's for sure...

While creating document we charge tax code in addition to the amount:
tax base amount 100
tax 16 %
total amount 116
We do tax return to the tax authorities at the collection status. When the customer pay 116 we transfer 16 to the tax authorities,
Now we face a case of VAT change from 16% to 17%. Therefore I sould collect 17 but in my system the document amount is 116 and not 117.
Is there a way to deal with VAT change?

BenFirst of all please elaborate what is the process that you are following for posting the document ?
In case of miscelleneous chages or addition charges you can always use FPE1 to post the document .

I have used Pages 09 and Keynote without any major problems until this new update. I have read many of the fixes but have a problem. When you get Pages 09 and Keynote back, Apples continues to want to update the 09 system. So it stays updated. I have had to turn off my auto updating that was nice but I'll do it one at a time in order to keep the Pages 09 and Keynote. When something works don't mess with it. Any fixes out there?
I can't say that I have had a problem playing videos in Flash because I could always play them in browsers other than Firefox.
In Firefox Tools>options>Advanced Hardware acceleration is turned on.
I don't know if that is different that tuning it off and on in Flash or not, but for now it is a moot point.
As I stated in my previous message, after following all earlier suggestions/instructions nothing helped. But The latest one, someone suggested that maybe version 17 of Flash might be a stable version.
I made no other changes except to install it, a few days ago, and so far so good.

Will there be a fix for Firefox's problems with Hotmail. I have gone back to 3.5.9 but mostly I am disappointed by the lack of action on this serious problem where a major and critical feature of a major international website is unavailable in the Firefox browser.

My iPhone 4 quit charging correctly. It does charge but very slowly and icon doesn't indicate it as charging. I've checked cables and charges and the problem is definetily with the phone. My car stereo no longer recognizes it as a device. Neither does the computer. The real strange thing to me is that when I plug it into my old klispch speaker dock it will play songs. My battery life is good when it is charged so I don't think its the battery. I've tried resetting the phone and cleaning the charging port. I'm out of warranty.
Would disconnecting the battery possibly reset it from some glitch or is the charging port got some bad contacts?I checked with the Genius Bar. It was a new dilema to the lady that was helping me. She took it to a back room and worked on it but it came out the same. She gave me some options for repair or credit for replacement.
I just kept the phone and put up with slowly charging it by plugging it in and then turning it off.
I couldn't transfer anything from itunes.
I finally got fed up and bought a new charging port for $10. and a toolkit for $3. I looked up a video on youTube for the replacement and did it.
That solved all the problems, it was the charging port, must have been some bad pins or something because it patially worked. -

my iphone 4 suddenly blank, i thought it is out of battery and put on a charger, but in few minutes later my iphone turns to be too hot on the right half side of its body. i pull off the charger. whats the problem is this?

Hi! My phone speaker is not working, so I cant hear people when they call me. I bought my iphone 4s con February 2013 in the Grand Central (NYC - USA) Apple Store. I would like to know if I can take it to an Apple Store in Spain so they can fix it or change it. Or I need to find a way to take it to the US, where I bought it.

If you can open Safari go to the top of your screen, click Safari / Preferences then select the General stab. You can type in the web address for your Home page there. -
Fixed amount condition changes depending on GR qty
Dear Experts,
Fixed amout condition is added in the Item - condition tab. Fixed value = $50.
Created PO for 100 qty with price per EA = 10. So, we expect the Invoice value to be 1000+50 = $1050.
But we did GR for 200 Qty. Since the condition type is fixed amount, we expected the delivery cost to be still $50 and total value to be 200 X10+50 = $2050
But, SAP calculations were different from what we expected. The fixed amout was changed as per the GR qty. and the PO total becomes $2100 (Fixed amount changed to 100 since GR qty = 2000)
Why the fixed amount doesnot remain fixed? How come the fixed amount increase depending on GR quantity?
Please suggest if there is any settings?
My confition type (ZFB3 has calc. type = B fixed).

Shashidharwe have not implemented any programmed solution, we are just doing unplanned delivery costs.
Business had a strong request during the project, I found this note, and even had a consultant from SAP directly on side regarding this issue, but we did not find a satisfying solution.
And the more you think about this issue and talk with the users about the possible variations that can happen, which have to be covered in a program, the more you will find out that it is not possible to make this happen.
Just think about the situation that the receiver posts a goods receipt in single portions because of different batches.
(always keep in mind, that the receivers often are just warehouse workers, not having the advanced SAP skills of a consultant. So they might do the work different from your expectations). How shall SAP act, shall the fix amount go to each partial receipt? What shall happen if he entered a wrong quantity? you know that you can cancel the whole material document, but it is as well possible to just post the differnce quantity with 102 movement. How shall this be done with fix conditions.
You may find a solution that works specially for your company,
but a general way is hard to find. -

Why Apple don't fix half year serious problem with HD3000 drivers, Lion and Adobe products? Doesn't Apple really care about advanced users?
I have Mac mini and Macbook Pro 13". Bouth with HD3000. And I can't work at all. With Snow Lepard I had no problems. It's tiny problem in code. And such pain for lots of users!If you have a problem with Adobe products, voice your issues with them.
It is the software developers responsibility to maintain compatability
with any operating system, beit OSX or Windows. -
Subcontractor vendor is charging VAT

Subcontracting vendor is charging VAT on his material used for the production of the final material.
Example: Company gives PO to vendor for component "A" (Semifinished) and sends material "B" (Raw Material) to subcontractor,
Now to manufacture component "A" subcontractor uses component "B" plus his material say "C" and completes the product "A".
When he send bill to company he charges VAT on the material "C", which is his material used to manufacture component "A".

It is not possible to add any Tax on the component /child material because these materials are your own material irrespective of the source of supply for these materials. As you can not impose any duty for own material in the subcon PO for child /component material
Better you can negotiate in this way.
Create normal PO for component material in first line item, let Say C in your case with Vat tax code & enter delivery address as sub con vendor & then in the second line item of the same PO use item category as L ( Sub con) for Material A ( end product) & enter system proposes shall delivery address be the same say no.
Carry out GR for first line item, material will at the sub vendor location, just create GR for material A (end material)
