Overclocking not showing in Windows

OK, I'm new to this forum, but not to forums in general. I've searched as best I know how and I could not find a direct answer to my problem. I did find out that Core Cell had to run at startup, but it still will not reflect the overclocking in Windows.
Am I doing anything wrong? I've found numerous threads discribing nearly every other question I've had, and thank you all for the answers, but this one stumps me.
System:
875p Neo mobo
P4 2.6c chip
1 gig Kingston Hyper-X pc3200 Ram (2x512)
1 80 gb ata133 maxtor (I know)
2 80 gb sata150 maxtor (raid on Promise)
Radeon 9800 pro 128
Audigy 6
Lite on DVD burner (dual format)
Lite on Cd burner/DVD
Overclocking is at 250mhz in Core Cell (3251 mhz), but it changes back to defaults frequently (it will not save either). SiSoft Sandra reports 203 FSB even though I have it set to 250. All setting in BIOS are from forums lpreviously listed. DOT is disabled (I do have BIOS version 1.9 if anyone wants an e-mail) and RAM is at 5:4 (333). AGP is locked and everything. Windows shows 2.6 chip running @ 2.64.

PS: I can't get my ATA133 drive to be recognized on Promise if RAID is running. Right now it's on the ATA100 slot1 with DVD drives in slot2. That's the only reason I bought this board and not the 865p Neo2.

Yes "SoCalMX" is for the most part correct....Windows will not recognize a FSB overclock that has not been done in the BIOS, But be carefull because using CORE-CENTER will indeed overclock the system!!! (if it is indeed working) as you can overclock using CORE-CENTER and then check with a utility such as CUPID http://www.cpuid.com and it will show a CPU increase!!....I say to be carefull because people do not see the OC in windows (or with the INTEL frequency ID) and forget that they have indeed OCed the FSB with CORE-CENTER, and they go back and up the FSB in the BIOS and now they have a double OC...And they wonder why their system has now become unstable ....So the best way to OC your system is by a BIOS adjustment....Just make sure that if you did make a change with CORE-CENTER that you go into it and hit (Default) and OK, Before you go into the BIOS to make a FSB change ...Sean REILLY875

First of all does, the iPod power on okay?
Have you tried plugging the iPod into a different USB ports, preferably a high powered USB 2.0 port on the back of your PC tower (these are directly soldered onto the motherboard and receive much high outputs of power than the ones on the front).
What about a different USB sync cable?
What shows up on the iPod's screen when you connect it? Does it charge at all? Maybe try resetting it with it still connected to your PC. To do this, press and hold both the Select (Center) and Menu buttons together long enough for the Apple logo to appear.

RIFF Metadata not showing in Windows Explorer

Hi -
I've been testing CS6 for inputting Metadata into the RIFF and BWF headers, and then opening them up in Audition 3.0.1 to see if the mapping is the same, or, if any fields are missing across products.
One thing I've discovered is that when I add metadata in CS6 and save the file, the file information (from the RIFF fields) does not display in Windows Explorer.
However, if I open the same file in Audition 3.0.1, the metadata is there, and if I re-save the file in Audition with a different name, the metadata does display in Windows Explorer.
Is this a bug, or, am I doing something wrong in CS6?

ensure you have some image in your "Camera Roll". Take a picture then plug it back. if still didn't show use your "Scanner and Camera Wizad".

IE is not showing on windows server 2008 after updates

Hi,
I have installed Window server 2008 R2.
After installing i found IE 8 on the server, but after 1day it automatically updated some softwares and now IE is not showing on my system.
i.e IE uninstalled after the updates to the windows server.
Please can some one help me to get the IE. I tried installing IE8, IE9 after downloading but it is showing "Internet Explorer 8 is not supported on this operating system"

Does not show in Windows 7

My iPod touch is not showing up in Windows. I can see it no problem in iTunes. If I go in Windows Explorer like I use to do, it's not showing. Recent change was a new iPod in exchange of an old broken one.
Any clue?

This started happening recently (like 2 or 3 months ago maybe?) where my iphone would not show in the windows explorer. I tried deleting all the photos not taken by my iphone, restoring it, deleting all my photos, deleting the dcim folder via diskaid, but none of these remedies have worked...
This also occurs on both my laptop and on my desktop, both of which are running the newest itunes and windows 7 64 bit.

Make sure your usb to dock connector cable is good, and that you have a good connection to the dock connector on the bottom of the phone (unobstructed by your case). If still not detected in windows you probably need to uninstall iTunes and all of it's components as described here: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1923, then reinstall iTunes. (This won't touch your iTunes library or media.)

When I plug my iPhone 5 to my company's laptop it is showing in windows explorer. I can go to the DCIM folder, but it's empty....there are plenty of pictures on it but they are not showing up....how's that?
It worked out with my iPhone 4 all the time fine...

MacBook Pro late 2013 does not show login window after waking from sleep

MacBook Pro late 2013 does not always prompt for login, but opens directly to desktop, even though security settings are setup to prompt for password after 5 minutes. Up to now, this only has happened on battery, machine goes to sleep or lid is closed, 10 minutes pass, lid is opened and desktop is shown instead of lock screen. Console shows, that the machine was actually sleeping (10 min no log entries) and also does not show any error in regards to login window.
This behaviour occurs randomly and I could not track down any root cause/behaviour, yet. Sometimes everything behaves as it should.
Any ideas?

Count me in, I have the same issue, and from what I read here, it looks like a Yosemite/SSD related issue ?
I'm not 100% sure if it started when I put a SSD in my old iMac 2009 (as a fusion drive) or if that's after that when I upgraded to Yosemite...
I did disable auto poweroff like suggested in another thread : Mac freeze during the night sleep.
sudo pmset -a autopoweroff 0
We'll see if it helps.

Face Time for mac does not show contacts window or allow me to sign in

My Facetime for Mac launches but does not show me my Contacts sidebar or allow me to 'Sign In'. Preferences is grayed out as well.
It works under a new user account (System Preferences > Accounts). I added a contact into the blank address book to test it out. I'm troubleshooting it right now to get it to work under my account, I think it has something to do with not fully accessing the keychain.
The tell-tell sign for me is when I launch FaceTime for Mac the preview window does not show immediately. I have to click on the app a second time for the window to appear. This does not happen under the new account
I have already:
- Restarted
- Removed preferences and Caches
- Re-installed Face Time
- Repaired and reset keychains
- Signed in under a different MobileMe account in System Preferences
Any other suggestions

SOLVED !!
After many, many more steps and close to total ruin of my MobileMe sync structure, I have the found the hidden files to remove that solved my problem.
~/Library/Preferences/.GlobalPreferences.plist
~/Library/Preferences/.GlobalPreferences.plist temp
~/Library/Preferences/.GlobalPreferences.plist .6Va7JFn [+these letters may be than different yours+]
Logged out, then back in again
When I launched Facetime it worked exactly as it does on my test user account.
here are the terminal commands to try for your solution
cd ~/Library/Preferences/
ls -A [+To get the letters for the third file+]
rm ~/Library/Preferences/.GlobalPreferences.plist
rm ~/Library/Preferences/.GlobalPreferences.plist\ temp
rm ~/Library/Preferences/.GlobalPreferences.plist\ .[+your letters+]
Please Post any problems you run into or if it doesn't work.
