Overdrive media WMA audiobooks and the new update for I-phone
Just updated my phone to the new 5.0 version, now I'm unable to transfer my audiobooks from overdrive media console to my I-phone. Does any one have the same problem? Before the update, every thing worked seamlessly and I had no issues transsfering the library books. If any one has a solution, please help. Thanks
I got in touch with Overdrive. They are working on a fix, but don't know ehen it will be available. They advise to check their website download page for a new revision.
I resurected an old computer with 10.4 on it, and downloaded a WMA book. It still works. BUT, 10.5 is not compatible with 10.4. I had to reset an old mini and reset in 10.4, then download from Overdrive and transfer to the mini. it works fine.
Keep checking their download page for the fix.

I have collected alot of music over the past couple years and the new update for the itouch says that it will erase all music and videos on the ipod. Is there anyway to do the update and not lose all my music or is there a way to take all the music off my ipod and store it on my computer to put back on after the update? Any help

Last night i was downloading the new update for the Iphone4 on my laptop through Itunes. After the download was done, it was starting to install, and then an error came up and didnt get a chance to check it. Now my Iphone is stuck on the screen with the USB pointing to the Itunes Icon and wont do anything else. Any advice on how to get this fixed, or do i need to go to the Apple store and have them look at it.

Close your iTunes,
Go to command Prompt -
(Win 7/Vista) - START/ALL PROGRAMS/ACCESSORIES, right mouse click "Command Prompt", choose "Run as Administrator".
(Win XP SP2 & above) - START/ALL PROGRAMS/ACCESSORIES/Command Prompt
In the "Command Prompt" screen, type in
netsh winsock reset
Hit "ENTER" key
Restart your computer.
If you do get a prompt after restart windows to remap LSP, just click NO.
Now launch your iTunes and see if it is working now.
If you are still having these type of problems after trying the winsock reset, refer to this article to identify which software in your system is inserting LSP:

Since moving to Maverick and the new updated of Keynote, I have a constant problem when typing in a text box, the program crashes. Is there a bug fix for this. Drives me nuts. Like many who can type quite quickly but at secretarial level, the text box freezes, nothing works and you know what's coming...crash!
This is most annoying. Is there bug fixes for this. Apparently I have the current updates and this problem still exists. Is it a Maverick bug or Keynote.
BarryHow did you install Mavericks, as an update ontop of the previous OS or did you wipe the drive and install clean?

After installing the new update for Firefox 3.6, no matter what I do, I cannot connect to the internet using Firefox. I can get on the internet using my other browsers (Google Chrome and Internet Explorer), so Firefox is the only one that doesn't work. I have already checked my firewall and have added and removed Firefox from my firewall to no avail. I've also already uninstalled and reinstalled Firefox, but so far it hasn't helped.
I have already tried removing firefox from my firewall. Even when I do that, my firewall doesn't detect firefox and prompt me to add it. And when I manually add it, it still doesn't work anyways. I've already tried the link as well, but it has been unhelpful. :/
I'm not sure if it matters, but a few weeks before this, I did download Microsoft Security Essentials. -
i cannot download the new update on my phone nor use it at all now because the itunes has too many errors on it and will not allow the recovery mode to commence

If the device remains unresponsive or does not turn on (or power on), reset your device.
If there is no video or if the screen remains black, verify that the device has enough charge to turn on:

I've tried 5 times to download the new update for my iPhone but each time I try to download it my phone just restarts itself and won't download the update
I would plug it in to the compuer and update my phone. That's what I do and it works for me. Just make sue your phone is backed up and all your pictures and videos are on the computer. Sometimes when you update it erases thing if it isn't backed up. Hope this helped.

Why did the new update for my macbook air hinder my ability to use my camera for google and skype but not photobooth or facetime??? This is messed up it was working yesterday and now neither google or skype can find a camera on from my mac? what do I do??

I got the new update for my macbook air and know it is saying that i have to pay for pages, numbers, and keynote and it said that it was free before i did the update.Can somebody please help... I need pages for a school report.
If you had the previous version of those apps on your machine then the upgrade is free.
If you didn't have them installed you must purchase them. -
