Overlay and Merge two separate PDFs into one PDF

Hello
I have a master single page PDF, which has a hole in it where variable text/images will appear.
The variable text/images is also supplied as a single page PDF (there are 9000 of these files).
Is there a way using JavaScript to automate the process of overlaying the variable text PDFs onto the master PDF and saving out as 9000 combined single page files?
Any help greatly appreciated.

It can be possible with Acrobat JavaScript's template object, but it appears you would need to insert your master page into the 900 text/image pages, make the master page a hidden template, and then overly the template.

Apple IDs cannot be merged. You should use your preferred Apple ID from now on, but you can still access your purchased items such as music, movies, or software using your other Apple IDs.

I Am working on a project of restoring a macbook pro from old parts that I found. It works!!! But the HDD that i salvadged is ancient and gets about .15 MBPS. Not good. Its an apple certified and apple branded toshiba HDD-500G at 5400RPM. Yeah. *****
I am considering buying a new hard drive as a 480GB SSD, and using OWC's Data doubler, adding a second HDD, for all the photos and vids i will be collecting through my work in video and photo. I am considering getting an SSHD (SSD+HDD in an SSD form factor) and using this as the second drive. its not much more expensive (like 10$ more) and itgetsme semi-SSD like performance on a mass scale of storage.
HOw can I combine these two drives into ONE partition? 480GB will take awhile to fill up, but this is a future proof wall to use.
I Will eventually invest in an external storage option (2-3 HDDS in one caddy for backups and storing 1080p video all under one roof. depends if the board im using actually has thunderbolt or usb that is fast enough-because of the crappy hdd i cant get it to boot into an OS or go through usb recovery without it freezing. I ahve tried re-applying thermal paste, still doesnt help)

I've now worked it out thanks it thanks. I highlighted the main path and the outer path to the second one and clicked on merge shape components. Then highlighted the inner path and did the same and this has worked.

Merging two LDAP directories into one clean 10.4 server.

What I have now is two different OD masters. One is a 10.3.9 server and the other is a 10.4.9 server. What I want to do is combine the two Open Directories into one on a brand new Xserve 10.4.9 install, and make that my only master with several replicas.
I'm trying to do as much research as possible before attempting this feat. I haven't been able to find much on here via searching. I think you could achieve this using slapcat with a bit of ldapadd/ldapmodify? Manual pages should tell you more?
Not done it myself with 10.5 but I don't see why not? Export desired information as LDIF file(s). You could do it for for both LDAP Servers and then bring them in. They should just add to each other?

Can you merge two pages documents into one in new pages?

I have a report and a few separate documents which I'd like to merge into one document. I've read that you can do this from thumbnails and copy the thumbnail but I just can't seem to do that either with right click or cmd C. (and the advice seemed to be pre the new pages) I want to merge them without making them into PDFs (still want them editable).
I have all the latest updates and system.

My solution won't work without Pages '09. It is no longer available from Apple, though for about $20 USD one can get it from Amazon, and once installed in Yosemite, it must be updated from an Apple iWork 9.3 updater.
If you had previously purchased Pages '09 from the OS X App Store, and it resides on an older Mac with OS X Lion or Mountain Lion, you should use the App Store to update it to v4.3. On those machines, the App Store will tell you that newer, incompatible Pages versions exist, and then it will offer to update your Pages '09 to the latest (4.3) version. Once this is done, you can simply copy that /Applications/Pages.app to a USB stick, create a new /Applications/iWork '09 folder on Yosemite, and transfer the Pages.app into that folder. If your Pages '09 was purchased on DVD, you will not be able to transfer it — and must be a new install on Yosemite, followed by the linked updater above. Takes all the joy out of working on a Mac.
There is no assurance that Pages '09 will continue to work properly after forthcoming OS X updates. The ability to export via the Share menu and automatically open Apple Mail with the export as attachment feature is now broken.
Pages v5.5.2, which is now available in the OS X App Store Updates — still does not support the solution you would like.

You cannot merge two reports into one PDF - not in any CR SDK. There are 3rd party utilities that will let you do this, but no APIs for this in CR.

I can access it if I sign in to the old account, but it's really cumbersome to go back and forth between the two accounts, both of which have a ton of music on them. Batch merging two TIFF files into one

I have a lot of portrait B5-size TIFF files that were scanned from paper documents and I plan to scan more.
I want to merge every two of these files into landscape B4-size TIFF files.
I want to do this by a batch job.
What is the best way?

I made a GUI script for the application Preview that reads a multi-page TIFF file and saves as a PDF file with 2-UP layout. This method has two flaws:
(1) Preview aborts for large files.
(2) Resulting PDF file is more than five times as large as original TIFF file.
Namely, 40-page, g4-compressed, 400KB TIFF file results in 2.5 MB PDF file.
Maybe, the Preview does not make inheritance of TIFF compression.
So I decided to make multi-page TIFF files of 2-UP layout.

HELP...want to merge two itunes accounts into one running several ipods

Hi, I need advise as I have two Itunes accounts for my family running on tow different laptops with win7 and with two iphones and two itouchs. I do I merge all this into one account that I can access from all devices and all computers?

Do you have a home network? You can set up itunes Home Sharing and transfer your purchases that way. You need to authorize each PC for the two different STORE accounts to transfer each account's purchases.
If you don't have a home network you'd have to use an external hard drive or USB stick.
Long story short, there's no automatic way to do it. You need to keep track of each account's purchases and what PC they are on, then move them to the PC that is missing those items.
There are some 3rd-party programs like Tune Ranger that say they will keep everything insync from one PC to the next, but they cost around $20 or $30.

There are many ways to accomplish this, depending on how you want it. Setting up multiple accounts is easy under System Preferences:Accounts. After that open iTunes on your newly created account.
Now, is where you could do a couple of different things. If your PC is sharing the same network and you are able to see the files on the PC from the iMac, then just drag and drop the iTunes Library music folder structure (just the part that contains the actual music) into the iTunes window. If you can't access the PC files, then you need to copy them all to an external hard drive, and import them w/ the same method.
If you don't want to create a second root-level account for yourself, but want to keep the music library separate, create another iTunes Library. You do this by holding down the Option key while starting iTunes, then click on the Create Library option. Then import the music using either method above.

Merging two sorted Vectors into one

I wish to write a function that will accept two Vectors which are sorted and merge them into a single sorted Vector. I plan to use the compareTo() function to perform the comparisons between objects. I want the function to do this task for Vectors containing Integer, String, or any User Defined Classs (both the vectors will be containing objects of same class though).
