Overlay Creator 'flashes' checkbox and doesn't select

For the past hour everytime I click one of the checkboxes in the image below I get a 'flash' of a tick, but InDesign won't actually select it.
If I look in the edit menu it says "Undo Set Scripting Tag"
Can anyone tell me what's happening?
I've opened closed InDesign/Restarted my Macbook plenty of times and that did nothing.

Overlay Creator looks different and there's no preview button

When I'm working at home I have Lion OS and the overlay creator has more of a vertical layout and the preview button is prominently placed on the bottom of the palette. When I'm at work the OS is Snow Leopard and the overlay creator is more horizontal and there is no preview button (see screen shot)
When I first saw this I thought the difference was do to the OS but where's the preview. The preview under Interactive doesn't appear to work for overlays...

That is very, very old version of the overlay creator from the prerelease program. Time to update your tools.

How to dynamic construct checkbox and get the selected status

Hello. I'm new to the JSF development. I need to dynamically generate the table data based on the selection of database table name . The first column is the checkbox which will allow user to select one or more rows for modification, deletion, etc. Here is the partial code that i wrote to add checkbox to the first column of the table in the backing bean. I would like to generate the same checkbox binding as we did from Design Palette.

Flashing screen and selected items flicker

the Screen flashes often and every selectable link flashes.

Not tried another cable as the it is only the wallpaper that is flashing so not sure how a dodgy cable would cause this effect. The top menu bar doesn't flash (although the image behind does) and currently, mail is open but is not flashing, it just seems to be the background wallpaper.
Again, there is no dock at the bottom.
I am in the UK so unfortunately, Apple support are out-of-hours at the moment (21:50 uk time).

I used to open Facebook, Youtube, Twitter etc. and everytime I select "Stay signed in" "Remember my password" etc. but it doesn't save my passwords and everytime I have to sign in again. I never sign out from these websites but when I open it next time, it requires username & password.
Does anybody know the problem & solution, plz help. I also found disk erros and reaoired permissiomn and the restarted and did disk utlty again and repaired the same disk errors and then did a restart and still does not remember passwords or ask me. Did all this still no luck it saved apple login on here and saved gmail account but others one it used to save does no longer.here is what i did below and still no luck.

I suggest that you run software update, after which you should have Safari 6.0.5 - then check Safari - Preferences - Privacy & see that 'Block cookies' is not set to Always.
Failing that - switch Safari extensions Off via Safari - Preferences - Extensions & test again

I have the signatures inthe preference panes and selected for the email address, but when I make a new message, the signature shows as none and doesn't give me a choice. Yesterday, the signatures were stacking instead of switching to the one I wanted to choose.

I had this and fixed it.
I had upgraded to Mountain Lion and my signatures in Mail were fine. But then about a week later, I got a new computer and used Migration Assistant to copy my stuff to the new machine. Upon opening Mail, I had all the correct Signature information in the Preferences>Signatures window, but nothing worked.
After lots of hunting, I found the Signature Folder. It's in:
Yourusername>Library>Mail>V2>MailData>Signatures
Looking at my previous setup (which works) I saw in that folder two types of files: .webarchive and .siganture
Looking in my new machine's Signature folder, I saw only the .webarchive folders, not the .signature folders
Since this was literally a clone of my previous setup to a new machine, here's what I did:
1. Quit Mail
2. In Problem machine, go to
Yourusername>Library>Mail>V2>MailData>Signatures
3. Move the Signatures folder someplace safe, but out of the MailData folder
4. Get the Signatures Folder from the working install (like a backup) and copy it to the MailData folder on the problematic machine
5. Start Mail on the problem machine
This worked for me. I don't know why Migration Assistant didn't copy the full signature folder, but this fixed it. It worked perfectly partly because I had just backed up with Carbon Copy Cloner and the very next day set up the new machine. I don't know where Lion or earlier versions of mail stored signatures, but the absence of the .signature filetype seems to be the problem.

Unfortunately, based on your description, I would have to second that your Express is a "goner." However, before giving up on the unit, be sure that you attempt a "factory default" reset at least 3x just to be sure.

HT201401 Iphone 3GS screen flashes and doesn't display

i have been given a Iphone 3gs 16Gb from a friend as they have upgraded to a nexus 4 and the screen connecter was damaged so i have now replaced the LCD with a new one now the screen flashes and doesn't show anything on the screen
there is no display at all not dark or dim display i have no idea if the screen is working but i have got two so called new screens and both are the same
i have recovered the Iphone as it connnects to Itunes and appears to fuction correctly with out any problems just not able to see what is on the screen touchscreen is working fine too as i was able to switch the iphone off as my friend had left a passcode on the phone so i put the phone into recovery mode from been on and recovered the phone
im out of ideas now please help

the iphone is now not displaying anything there is no flash or anything on the screen i have checked the 6r8 coil and it looks fine
the phone still connects to itunes and appers to work as normal but im unable to see any display so im unable to set it up so i can ring the phone and check

Flash Forms and Checkboxes

I'm creating a Flash Form and I have a group of 4 checkboxes,
and the value part of the input statement is as follows:

But when I submit the record, all of the checkboxes are
recorded as "1", even if none of them or some of them are checked.
Has anyone developed a flash form with checkboxes and experienced

Those are the ones you downloaded. Ten times, apparently. Since install_flash_player_10_osx.dmg already existed, the next download was appended with -1. The next -2, etc. They'll all be identical, so it doesn't matter which one you use. Though I'd go with the last one as it may be a slightly updated version from the first download, depending on how long ago you did the first one.
A .dmg file is a Disk Image. When you double click them, they open up a pseudo drive on the desktop. When you open one of these ten items, the Flash installer will appear in a file window. Run it to install Flash. Then close the file window (displaying from the psuedo drive) and then put the "drive" in the trash to dismount it. You can then delete all of those.
Looks like you also downloaded the Adobe Reader twice. Versions 10.1.2 and 10.1.3. Also Skype, whatever the Thomson thing is, and an unnecessary Flash uninstaller (the Flash installer will put an uninstaller in the Utilities folder).

If there is no response to keyboard or powerbutton presses; hold power button until it shuts off. Unplug and wait 5 minutes and then plug back in and try to start again.
