Override the default ESB system/group for a deployed BPEL process?

Is there any way to specify which ESB System and Group a BPEL process will be registered to when it is deployed? By default it is always registered under the "BPELSystem" ESB system and then within groups named by the BPEL domain and process name.

In the bpel.xml or \<OH>\integration\esb\config\esb_config.ini on ESB_DT server, you can use the esbSystem property. See slide 39 from this presentation on http://otn.oracle.com/goto/esb http://www.oracle.com/technology/products/integration/esb/files/esb-bpelmanualtask.pdf

  • IWork overrides the default app system

    iWork overrides the default app system. When I select a pages (or keynote or numbers) file, get info, set the default application to Pages '09 and click "change all" it does not honor my choice of default application. It reverts back to the new iWork. I need to use '09 for now but I don't necessarily want to delete the new version.
    Thanks, Apple for making my decisions for me. GRRRRRRRRR
    Anyway to override this? I'm getting tired of "open with" rather than just double clicking files.

    Using Get Info to change all documents to open with Pages 4.3 doesn't work. It will work on individual files, but that could be a lot of files to reset.
    This is what works for me. After I installed the new iWork updates I created a folder on an external drive & named it "other applications." I then moved the new iWork apps to this folder & renamed the applications Keynote 6, Pages 5 & Numbers 3. I have icons for two versions of Pages & Numbers (I rarely use Keynote) in my Dock. Even with two versions of Pages & Numbers running, double-clicking an existing file opens in Pages 4.3 or Numbers 2.3. This should also keep the Mac App Store from nagging you to update.

  • Changing the default logical system names for adaptive RFC models

    Hello,
    When I create an Adaptive RFC model the dialog that asks me to specify the model name, package, source folder, etc. has default values in the "Default logical system name for model instances" and "... RFC metadata".
    I know I can type in another name there but I'd like to change the default name to something that fits our naming conventions. Can I change that? If so, can someone tell me where?
    Thanks in advance!
    David.

    Suresh,
    Thank you for your response. However, that is not what I was looking for. Sorry if my post was not clear.
    I knew that I could change it AFTER the import. I also know that I can type in something else besides the default DURING the import.
    What I am asking is if there is a way to change some configuration setting so that the 'default' that comes up in the drop down DURING the import is something different than what comes 'out-of-the-box' with NWDS.
    Hope that clears up what I'm looking for.
    David.

  • Any java API to get the metadata for a deployed bpel process in soa/bpm11g?

    Hi,
    Just wonder if this is possible, that there is some existing java api to retrieve the metadata (containing activities, isSynchrous, version information etc) for a deployed bpel process? If not, is there any other way to achieve this goal ( or example query database table directly)?
    I can only find this link for soa11g java api. I am able to invoke the bpel process using this API(direct binding) from java client.
    http://download.oracle.com/docs/cd/E14571_01/apirefs.1111/e10659/index.html?overview-tree.html
    Any help will be greatly appreciated.
    Thanks,
    Bin

    What I find so far:
    1. can get some process property values from ComponentInstance class, see its api.
    http://download.oracle.com/docs/cd/E14571_01/apirefs.1111/e10659/oracle/soa/management/facade/ComponentInstance.html
    Please refer http://blogs.oracle.com/soabpm/2009/07/soa_suite_11g_api_tricks_part.html of how to get the component instance (contain the bpel process) from a composite object
    2. in dev_soainfra database schema, the CUBE_INSTANCE table contains most of soa bpel components information. The BPM_CUBE_PROCESS table seems to contain only the process defined in a bpm application. This sounds a little confused, if we want to develop a bpel application, should it be put in soa or bpm application and what is the difference?
    Please feel free to correct any mistakes here.

  • [AS] Making "keep overrides" the default graphic layer option for all placed graphics?

    If I relink thisLink when it is missing, and update link option was set to keep overrides, everything is fine. But if it was set to application settings, I am in a world of hurt, because suddenly all my Unit numbers will show 1-32 piled on top of each other (all layers visible in Photoshop) or the wrong one (just one layer visible in Photoshop) or nothing at all!
    The catch-22 is that until I relink missing links, update link option only shows "unknown" as the result. Arrrgh?
    set myLinks to every link whose status = missing
    repeat with thisLink in myLinks
        get update link option of graphic layer options of parent of thisLink
            -->Returns "unknown" instead of "application settings" or "keep overrides"
        try
            set update link option of graphic layer options of parent of thisLink to "keep overrides"
            relink thisLink to newLinkPath
            update thisLink
        on error
            -->This always errors on the set update link option line
        end try
    end repeat
    Anyone know a way around this or should I just change my name to Yossarian?
    Thanks in advance,
    Eric.

    Well, I give you points for creativity! Unfortunately, relink is destructive and overwrites any info with the default (which in CS2 is application settings).
    What really kills me is that InDesign has some Sooper Seekrit internal list that only the Links palette knows about. So if you *manually* try and relink the document and then revert it, it automatically relinks against all the paths you've tried since launching it and therefore, the second time all the links show as linked and the process is non-destructive, unlike the "relink" command.
    Argh.
    I will think on it some more though. Thanks for your input!
    PS: Adobe apparently broke the ability to relink against a string in CS4 from what I can tell. In spite of the fact that the dictionary specifically lists alias or string or string (yes, says or string twice in the dictionary), only alias really seem to work.
    So...
    set newLinkFolder to "" & path to home folder & "Pictures:"
    set newLinkPath to newLinkFolder & name of thisLink
    try
    relink thisLink to newLinkPath
    on error
    display dialog "FAIL!"
    end try
    try
    relink thisLink to newLinkPath as alias
    on error
    display dialog "No fail. You'll never see this message!"
    end try

  • Btrfs May Be The Default File-System For Fedora 16

    Having a somewhat odd interest in different types of filesystems, I'd thought I'd share this snippet I wondered across.
    Brought up on the Fedora development list are the plans for Btrfs in Fedora, which provides a target of Fedora 16 when EXT4 will be replaced by Btrfs as the default Linux file-system on new installations.
    Fedora was one of the first distributions to deploy support for installing the Linux distribution to a Btrfs root file-system, while the Moblin/MeeGo camp has already turned to it as the default file-system, and now Fedora may finally have everything ready and are comfortable with the state of this Oracle-sponsored file-system.
    With the intended Fedora deployment of Btrfs, they will also switch from using LVM as the disk's volume manager to instead relying upon the volume management abilities built into Fedora itself. Fedora / Red Hat developers have previously already worked on taking advantage of other Btrfs features, like snapshots, to provide system roll-back support by creating a copy-on-write snapshot prior to each yum/RPM package transaction.
    In order to meet the Fedora 16 Btrfs target, Btrfs support needs to be merged into Fedora's GRUB package (or a separate non-Btrfs /boot file-system must be used), Red Hat's Anaconda must be hooked in to properly utilize Btrfs and its volume management features, and the Fedora LiveCD must be re-worked a bit to handle Btrfs. Additionally, the fsck support for Btrfs must be completed. Oracle's Chris Mason is nearly (circa 90%) complete with this task.
    Before Fedora 16 arrives we still have Fedora 15 to worry about, which will continue to offer Btrfs as a file-system option while EXT4 remains the default.
    Canonical is also evaluating when to switch to the Btrfs file-system and we may see that move similarly happen for Ubuntu 11.10.
    This would seem to imply that fedora is giving btrfs the big thumbs up! They currently release twice a year, and  fedora 15 is (I believe) Due out this May, so it wouldnt be too wrong to surmise that come Christmas btrfs would be the standard install option. However, I have always thought of fedora as being a little bit of a testing bed for red hat enterprise, so reading between the lines, I am thinking they want to release btrfs to the wild, and get the bugs sqwished so it can be incorporated into red hat, which is a good thing all round, for all concerned.
    Quote blatantly ripped from phoronix.
    wikipedia btrfs
    kernel.org btrfs

    There are, as I understand it, three big issues keeping Btrfs from hitting its final "stable" release:
    1) No true fsck (as of November, a fix is due "any time now")
    2) The logic used for subvolumes (a sort of "virtual LVM" setup) in Btrfs is wholly different from that used in Ext*, JFS, NTFS, HFS, etc; because of this, there isn't yet a single script/program that will accurately display space consumption.  Instead, the user needs to run a couple different commands and extrapolate.  A little annoying, but it doesn't affect stability.
    3) A bug in the COW aspect of the defrag command which, if run with an incorrect flag, can cause a doubling in the amount of metadata on the filesystem (and thus the amount of space it consumes).  Again, it won't wreck anything, but would make management tedious if one needs to restore a snapshot to get rid of extra cruft.
    These are all mentioned in the FAQ's on the Btrfs wiki, though the wiki doesn't give priority to any of them.  I'm guessing that, if Fedora 16 will be using this later in the year, the Oracle folks have told the Red Hat folks that they're planning on plowing through these issues very soon.

    hi,
    i wanted to resize my windows partition. I was thinking of using the default backup system for windows. Then switching to mac partion, deleting the bootcamp and then restoring a new enlarged partition from the backup. Is this possible?

    I see youhave gotten recommendatons for using WinClone or CampTune.  I have used both and they both work well.
    You have asked about using the WIndows 7 utility to backup your drive and restor it onto a larger partition.  I will tell you fro experience that this will probably not do what you want, and may do something that you don't want.  You can use the Windows 7 native backup tool to make a backup of your Windows 7 partition.  It will most liekly end-up making a dive image of the whole drive.  When yourestore that backup, it will try to re-create teh partitions of exactly the same size as they were when the backup was taken, so it won't increase your partition size for you.  Worse, since Windows doesn't natively know how to read./write HFS+ volumes, the backup will make a partition for your MacOS (replacing any you may have now), except that the copy restored by WIndows will be totally worthless, and you will not be able to boot MacOS from it, or even read it under MacOS.
    Now I will tell you that I've also had some fairly good success working with the free tool CloneZilla.  Since it hasn't been mentioned yet, and everything else mentioned does cost you money, I thought I would throw it out.  CloneZilla is not as easy to use as the tools mentioned, but it has worked for me int hte past, so it is something to consider.  I tend to use CampTune myself, but that was because I purchased a bundle deal for them and it was included in that deal.

  • Can I override the default ReadObjectQuery for an entity and specify my own call

    Hi,
    I am trying to override the default ReadObjectQuery and the ReadAllQuery for an entity and supply my own call.The entities have to be read from the database using a StoredProcedure.I tried doing something like
    Descriptor desc=evt.getSession().getDescriptor(Configuration.class);
    desc.getQueryManager().setReadObjectQuery(new ReadObjectQuery());
    StoredProcedureCall call = new StoredProcedureCall();
    call.setProcedureName("CONFIGSVC");
    call.addUnamedArgument("CATEGORY");
    call.addUnamedArgument("CFGKEY");
    call.addUnamedArgument("VALUE");
    desc.getQueryManager().getReadObjectQuery().setCall(call1);
    desc.getQueryManager().getReadObjectQuery().addArgument("CATEGORY");
    desc.getQueryManager().getReadObjectQuery().addArgument("CFGKEY");
    desc.getQueryManager().getReadObjectQuery().addArgument("VALUE");
    When I try to execute the query
    ExpressionBuilder builder = new ExpressionBuilder();
    Expression expr = (builder.getField("category").equal("GOESVC.GETTDEV")).and(
              new ExpressionBuilder().getField("configKey").equal("GOESVC.REQ")).and(
              new ExpressionBuilder().getField("value").equal("$ENV.$ORIGIN.GOESVC.REQ"));
    ReadObjectQuery query = new ReadObjectQuery(Configuration.class, expr);
    session.executeQuery(query);
    I can see in the log that it completely ignores the call I set and tries to execute using the default call and that too with incorrect mappings between the "entity" field names and the actual database field names.

    Hi,
    The "ReadObjectQuery" in a descriptor's query manager can only be used to change the primary key read query. It will be used only for a ReadObjectQuery that either has a selection key, selection object, or an expression that exactly matches the primary key.
    If you have a non-primary key query that you want to use, you can add it as a named query to the descriptor's query manager.
    I'm not sure of the primary key of your descriptor, assuming that it is a 3 part composite key, then your ReadObjectQuery procedure is defined correctly in the descriptor. However the ReadObjectQuery is incorrect, you must use "get" not "getField", also you must use a single expression builder.
    i.e.
    ExpressionBuilder builder = new ExpressionBuilder();
    Expression expr = (builder.get("category").equal("GOESVC.GETTDEV")).and(
    builder get("configKey").equal("GOESVC.REQ")).and(
    builder.get("value").equal("$ENV.$ORIGIN.GOESVC.REQ"));
    ReadObjectQuery query = new ReadObjectQuery(Configuration.class, expr);
    session.executeQuery(query);
    you could also do,
    Vector key = new Vector(3);
    key.add("GOESVC.GETTDEV");
    key.add("GOESVC.REQ");
    key.add("$ENV.$ORIGIN.GOESVC.REQ");
    ReadObjectQuery query = new ReadObjectQuery(Configuration.class);
    query.setSelectionKey(key);
    session.executeQuery(query);
    If the descriptor primary key is not 3 part, then add this query as a named query.
    Descriptor desc=evt.getSession().getDescriptor(Configuration.class);
    ReadObjectQuery query = new ReadObjectQuery();
    StoredProcedureCall call = new StoredProcedureCall();
    call.setProcedureName("CONFIGSVC");
    call.addUnamedArgument("CATEGORY");
    call.addUnamedArgument("CFGKEY");
    call.addUnamedArgument("VALUE");
    query.setCall(call);
    query.addArgument("CATEGORY");
    query.addArgument("CFGKEY");
    query.addArgument("VALUE");
    desc.getQueryManager().addQuery("findConfigSVC", query);
    To execute the query,
    Vector arguments = new Vector(3);
    arguments.add("GOESVC.GETTDEV");
    arguments.add("GOESVC.REQ");
    arguments.add("$ENV.$ORIGIN.GOESVC.REQ");
    session.executeQuery(Configuration.class, "findConfigSVC", arguments);

  • How to override the default delete operation

    Hi,
    I am new to Jheadstart, java coding for that matter.
    Here's my situation,
    I have a view which is based on a function (function returns a collection).
    I have created instead of triggers on this view to perform insert/update/delete operations.
    All these DML operations work as expected in Oracle database.
    Now, I created an Entity object and a view object on this view in my jheadstart project.
    When I run this Jheadstart application my insert and search operations run fine but update and delete operations fail with JBO-26080 error.
    The underlying oracle error is "ORA-02014: cannot select FOR UPDATE from view with DISTINCT, GROUP BY, etc."
    I know that delete and update operations work fine in Oracle and hence I would like to override the default Jheadstart operations. Can any body tell me how can I do it or point me in right direction?

    Hi,
    From the JHeadstart Developer's Guide, chapter TroubleShooting - Problem Assessment:
    If you are getting a JBO error (Business Components for Java error), try to perform the same data retrieval or data manipulation action using the BC4J Tester. You can
    invoke the tester through a right-mouse-click on the BC4J application module. If you get the same error using the BC4J tester, the problem is in the BC4J object definitions. If you added business rules, or other custom code to your BC4J objects that executes during your data retrieval or data manipulation action, you can debug this code line-by-line by running the tester in debug mode. You can also look up the JBO error in the JDeveloper online help, for each error possible causes and how to solve them are described.
    It sounds to me like you will also get this error in the BC4J Tester. This means that the problem is not related to JHeadstart. You can go to the JDeveloper discussion forum http://otn.oracle.com/discussionforums/jdev.html and ask your question there without mentioning JHeadstart. Maybe there is some switch you can set in the BC4J object to let BC4J not use SELECT FOR UPDATE.
    Hope this helps,

  • Unable to 'set the default source system' to Install Business Content

    Hi,
    Maars here. This is my first post hoping that in future ones I'll also be lending a helping hand.
    I am trying to 'Install Business Content' under the BUSINESS CONTENT section in txn RSA1. I am doing this after 'Transfer Data Sources' in R/3 and I can now see all the data sources (under the application component hierarchy) for the source system. But I am not able to see the Info Objects in the Business Content.
    When I try to set R/3 as the default source system (got this screen after clicking a icon in the standard tool bar), BW is not saving the settings ie., I set the R/3 as the default and then click on OK. If I go back to the same screen again, I find that my settings were NOT saved.
    Could you please help me out?
    Thank you.

    Hi,
    It seems to be a bug in version 3.5.
    Do like this:
    After you open the screen to <i>choose the dafault source system</i>
    Clcik on 3rd button(F6) available in the bottom of the scrreen.
    And then select teh tick mark for required system.
    And then click on Continue button
    You have do this step before you drop the cube to right side of the cube.
    Ok, even after all these steps , if you reopen the screen you would not see Tick mark u have done just before. DONOT WORRY ABT it.
    Drag and drop required cube with dat flow before.
    Now you can see the Transfer rules with selected Source system only in the collected Objects.

  • Detect what the default edit form is for a document library and list using jquery

    Hi,
    So what I have done is with some jquery made it that when a files are dragged and dropped into a document library and there is a required field such as "Metadata" the EditForm.aspx opens up for the user to fill in the required column. I am building
    the url up from what I have found in SharePoints DragDrop.js file. This is all working perfectly I just need to find a way to dynamically find what the default edit form is for that document library as I have just hardcoded like this...
    g_currentControl.strSiteUrl + "/" + this.ListName + "/Forms/EditForm.aspx?ID=" + id
    So I need a way to figure out what the default edit form is instead of hard coding like this in case someone creates a custom_editform.aspx or something for one of the lists.
    Thanks

    You can get it by hitting this REST end point via JQuery:

  • Trying to override the default af:tree expanded and collapsed icons

    Hi,
    I initially hijacked a thread from 2010 that was vaguely similar to what I need to ask, but a kind forum moderator split my post out to stand on its own merits.
    I am trying to override the default af:tree expanded and collapsed icons I am using the following styles for my af:tree but they are not reflecting any thing on my tree with the styleclass orgType.
    af|tree.orgType::expanded-icon {
    content: url("../images/ac-expand.png");
    cursor: default;
    af|tree.orgType::collapsed-icon {
    content: url("../images/ac-collapsed.png");
    cursor: default;
    af|tree::expanded-icon {
    content: url("../images/folder_open.png");
    cursor: default;
    af|tree::collapsed-icon {
    content: url("../images/folder_close.png");
    cursor: default;
    After working for long hours I realized that there is some problem with af:tree and treeTable. They are not taking the styles where as for the other components, every thing works fine. Is there any way to achieve the task. Could you suggest any alternative way to do this. Thanks in advance. Your suggestions for this task can really help me and my team a lot.
    Regards,
    Krishna Sumanth.

    Hi,
    do the icons show without the style class reference used in the skin file? If so, then the style class for this component might be rendered differently for the tree, e.g.
    .orgType af|tree ...
