Oversize documents being rendered with parts of the document cut off due to the large size

We are invoking web services on LiveCycle Server ES 8.2 to convert non pdf documents to pdf. We noticed that oversized documents are rendered with parts of it cut off when submitted for conversion.
Has anyone seen this before and how we can resolve this?
Thanks in advance.

The oversized file issue happens when we try to convert legal size documents. Part of the document is cut off.
Any documents wider than 8 and 1/2 by 11 has this issues.

  • When I download pictures from my camera, they turn out a nice big size in iPhoto; other pictures that have been e-mailed to me or imported from older libraries/other computers show up small.  Why is this, and how can I make them all the larger size?

    When I download pictures from my digital camera into iPhoto, they turn out a nice large size (usually almost the full screen), but when somebody e-mails me pictures and I import them into iPhoto, or when I transfer old photos from an old library into my new iPhoto library, they turn out very small--not exactly thumbnail-size, but too small to use for calendars or photo books.  I don't know much about computers, so I don't know how this happened.  Also, I can't find any discernible pattern to why this happens with some pictures and not others--ie: what I described above is usually true, but I have had e-mailed photos or old photos turn out the way I want them, which is in the larger size in iPhoto.  Why is this happening, and how can I make all the pictures the larger size?

    Some mail programs, including Apple Mail, can reduce the size of images that are attached to a message. It's happening at the sender's end, and all you can do is ask the sender for a larger image.

  • HT4623 I want to purchase a ipad 32gb in the larger size but have read many bad reviews that the wifi does not stay connected and I don't want to have to buy another data package as I already own an iphone that i pay data for, what are my concerns

    I want to purchase an ipad 32gb in the larger size buy have read many bad reviews that they have problems staying connected to wifi.  I don't want to have to buy a data package so I only want the wifi one.  I already pay apple for my iphone data and I can't afford more money.  Why are there so many bad reviews and are the newer ones that much better, according to many reviews they are not.Please help

    I already pay apple for my iphone data
    You pay your carrier for data, not Apple.
    Why are there so many bad reviews
    Where? Regardless, there are always going to be a handful of people having some sort of issue with any given device, but I would not therefore assume that you would be one of them.

    sure pretty simple.  make a backup of your current settings
    http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1766?viewlocale=en_US
    then restore device from old backup you need pics off of
    then import pics to computer
    http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4083
    you may need to save pics to camera roll first
    then restore the new backup and sync pics back to phone via itunes

  • How to play  with part of the video.??

    I mean that how can I separate the video to several parts,(maybe 2 frames to one part). and then How to play one part of them with JMF.
    I want to use this to implement the p2p system. If I can solove there two issues, I think I can use some routing arithmetic to transfer some parts to peers. The peer with one thread just play the current frame, and create another one to download the following parts.
    could you guys suggest me ??

    Yeah, I do p2p with jmf.
    In p2p system, the souce of video send the parts to the network(earch part has a UID,such as 1,2,3,4,5...), and the other computers receive some of them.(the parts must can play continuously) .And in the memery of each computer have a buffer to download the following parts from the network, not from the source.
    In this way, some peers of the network can communicate.For example,
    Peer A have the 1st ,3rd,5th parts,and Peer B have the 2nd,4th parts.
    When A paly the 1st part, at the same A download from B the 2nd part, Then A can play in turn. In the same way B can download the 3rd part from A.
    Maybe my way is not right, do you have another way to implement the p2p, or the materail about it.
    Waiting for your replay....

  • All of a sudden, my display screen with fox fire enlarged, I can not return it to the original size, can not find the button to reduce it. If I go on line with Internet Explorer, the page size is normal?

    I thought it might have happened with an update - I used the
    computer software to look for any problems - I turned the power off and on again, fired irefox back up and still get the large display?

    I don't have ML so I can't comment on the back button but the problem with screen size may be a matter of you scrolling while pressing the CMD or CTRL buttons.     You should be able to adjust which of these to use through Systems Pref > Mouse and then Zoom control in the bottom box.

  • Are regular iPad minis and iPad minis with retina display the same size?

    I am deliberating what case to buy, and i need to know if they are the same size, Thanks!

    iPad mini Retina:
    Height: 7.87 inches (200 mm)
    Width:5.3 inches (134.7 mm)
    Depth:0.29 inch (7.5 mm)
    iPad mini:
    Height: 7.87 inches (200 mm)
    Width: 5.3 inches (134.7 mm)
    Depth: 0.28 inch (7.2 mm)
    Source: http://www.apple.com/ipad/compare/
    The depth (thickness) is the differing factor here. Most cases should work just fine. Some cases (especially the snap on back covers) *may* not fit because of the increased (.3mm/.01") thickness. The snap-on back (Best Buy/Rocketfish snap-on back shield) was a bit tight on my mini Retina but It was nothing I'd call a real issue. This is the type of case that may not fit or be tight because they wrap around the edges and snap onto the front of the mini's beveled corners. There is also an additional microphone on the iPad mini Retina. Original mini cases likely won't have this hole on the back. I don't know how critical that microphone is but in my situation, I simply drilled a small hole in the case back.

    I am getting OutOfMemoryError in this method.
    Let me explain. The above method is called from a nested 'for' loop something like the pseudocode below.
    BufferedImage in_graphic = ImageIO.read(graphic);
    for(int j=0;j<in_graphic.getHeight();j++){
    for(int i=0;i<in_graphic.getWidth();i++){
    findVec(param1,param2);
    lengths of param1 and param2 are fixed
    param1's length is always 3
    param2.length is 8 and param2[i] is 3
    I thought that this code is independent of image size but it not. As the image size increases beyond a certain size I am getting OutOfMemoryError. I dont know why am I doing something wrong here. Thanks in advance.

    I know you asked about a memory issue, not a speed issue. But, another slight speed-up would be to compute the square root once, and then put it in both lists:
    diff.add(Math.sqrt((d1*d1)+(d2*d2)+(d3*d3)));
    tempdiff.add(Math.sqrt((d1*d1)+(d2*d2)+(d3*d3)));could be:
    Double distance = Double.valueOf(Math.sqrt((d1*d1)+(d2*d2)+(d3*d3)));
    diff.add(distance);
    tempdiff.add(distance);That not only speeds it up (fewer calculations), but it creates half as many Double objects as your way was creating.
    Autoboxing is slowing you down, too. (The use of Double and the autoboxing will go away if you use ejp's suggestion to use arrays of double. But, you could still compute that value only once.)
    Your Vector<Double> are local variables, anyway. If I'm reading your code correctly, they are each only 8 elements long. If so, that's not the main memory issue. Using an array of double primitives will use a little less memory and will be faster, but I don't think the Vector<Double> is the biggest issue. You aren't storing the references to those Vectors anywhere, so they will be eligible for garbage collection at the end of the method.
    So, I know you said it was pseudocode, but your pseudocode as to how findVec was called didn't even use the return value (the ThreeVec that the method creates). Maybe if you explain better what param1 and param2 are (how they are calculated based on height and width, or other useful information), someone could give you a better suggestion. Also, what's a ThreeVec, anyway?
    Maybe try posting the actual code for your loop, instead of pseudocode. Use the CODE button (above the posting box) to format your code nicely.

  • Subtitles: small part of first letter cut off

    Hello everyone,
    I've just imported some subtitles from a text-file into my Subtitle-track, the alignement is 'Left'.
    Now all titles have the same problem: there's a small bit cut off from the very left side every first letter of every sentence (you could say that the alignment is being set a little TOO far to the left).
    Is there anyone on this forum who ever had the same problem? I hope someone can help me out because it 'll take a lot of work to give each individual subtitle an extra hit with the Spacebar...
    Best regards,
    Robbie V.,

    Hi Max,
    I tried but unfortunately this problem seems to have nothing to do with text being either in- or outside the title safe area.
    Also beginnings of small lines -only four or five words- are affected.
    As soon as I put my alignment on 'Left' the left side of my first letter is cut off. Dragging the whole sentence a bit to the right doesn't help, nor adjusting the horizontal offset-setting.
    The only way to solve this problem so far is to give an extra 'space' in every individual text-field, just before every first letter of a line. But of course the whole idea of quickly adding subtitles will be gone then...
    The strange thing is that I haven't found any other message about this pretty annoying problem on this forum.
    Anyway, I appreciated your suggestion and will look forward to more reactions.
    Many thanks,
    Robbie V.

  • Jpg/tiff sizes optimally for inclusion in the large size books?

    Old toad and others please chime in, lets get a concrete close to exact answer to these questions finally ?
    I have thousands of 50MB tiffs 300dpi resolution 12x18 and their jpg ( easily made whatever size needed by Graphic Converter)counterpart.
    I want optimal results in a largest size softcover book.
    1.What is the preferred file ( jpg or tiff ) for iphoto books?
    2.What would be the minimal/optimum size of that 300dpi resolution files to use inside iphoto to drag onto the pages?
    i mean im not going to drag a 50mb file. What size should it be? Please be specific.
    3. What would be your preferred theme that would look most professional and include captions.
    4. I assume a 100 page book( soft cover large size ) could hold 300-400 images, right?
    thanks so much

    Glenn:
    For your question re converting to jpg and using them in the book, yes that will work fine. The critical aspect of the image file are the pixel dimensions. The larger the better as they will then be sized down to 300 dpi when the PDF of the book is created for uploading and printing.
    iPhoto will take any files you use, tiffs, jpegs, Photoshop, etc. and include them in the PDF file of the book for uploading and printing. As was mentioned in my other post Apple suggests using the sRGB color profile. Canon's camera profile is very, very close to it as works as well. The sRGB IEC1966 profile is also very, very close and can be used. However, if you camera uses the Adobe RGB (1988) profile I would convert to sRGB.
    Do you Twango?
    TIP: For insurance against the iPhoto database corruption that many users have experienced I recommend making a backup copy of the Library6.iPhoto database file and keep it current. If problems crop up where iPhoto suddenly can't see any photos or thinks there are no photos in the library, replacing the working Library6.iPhoto file with the backup will often get the library back. By keeping it current I mean backup after each import and/or any serious editing or work on books, slideshows, calendars, cards, etc. That insures that if a problem pops up and you do need to replace the database file, you'll retain all those efforts. It doesn't take long to make the backup and it's good insurance.
    I've written an Automator workflow application (requires Tiger), iPhoto dB File Backup, that will copy the selected Library6.iPhoto file from your iPhoto Library folder to the Pictures folder, replacing any previous version of it. You can download it at Toad's Cellar. Be sure to read the Read Me pdf file.

  • Intermediate connections with E2000, I keep getting cut off.

     Hello, I installed a E2000 several week s ago. Installation went fine, however I am constantly  getting cut off.  This is happening with several items I have on the Network, 2 computers & 2 DVD players. I have one computer hardwired to the router. I can be in the middle of surfing the net & all of sudden I am cut off.  Sometimes I can quickly get back on while other times I have to reset the router and basically start totally over.   The first time this started to happen I returned the router & got a new one but it didn't make a difference. I am at a loss of what is happening.

    Bypass the router and connect the computer directly to the modem. Check the Internet connection through the modem. Make sure that the connection is not dropping through the modem.
    If the Internet through the modem is not dropping then try to change some settings on the router.
    Connect the computer and modem to the router. You might have installed the Cisco connect software on the main computer. Open the Cisco connect software and go to Router settings. Click on Advanced settings and it will open the setup page of the router. Set the MTU to manual and change the size to 1365. Save the settings.
    Click on wireless tab. Set the configuration view to manual. Change the wireless channel to 11. Save the settings.
    Click on Advanced wireless settings sub tab. Change the beacon Interval to 75, RTS threshold to 2307 and fragmentation threshold to 2306. Save the settings. See if that works.

  • Problem rendering -- only part of the comp gets rendered

    I'm puzzled as to why our comps are only getting the first part rendered. then it stops and the rest looks like a still image. could this be a memory issue?
    We're using IMacs with Tiger.
    Thank you!

    It's all being done from local files, either on the hard drive or on a flash drive. no network involved.
    It would seem the iMacs can't handle it for some reason. They hav 1GB RAM and the processor is wGH PPC G5
    This morning i tried the same file on a different computer in the lab, (the instructor's computer) a tower, memory: 1 GB, processer: 1.8, 1.8 GHz Power PC
    g5, and it works on that one.
    I'm puzzled because last year with the same computers we had no problem. It was the previous version of After Effects, fwiw.
    While i'm relieved to see that it could work on the instructor's computer, i'd like to know if there's anything that can be done to make the iMacs work too. are there settings i should be looking at in Preferences perhaps?
    Thanks much.
