Overstock shopping cart trick not working?

Some brief hints about getting the SCT to work: It will not work if you did the opt out of prescreen offers.   If you need to opt in, then do so and wait 4 or 5 days. Try using the 'private' or 'incognito' or 'stealth' mode of your browser,  or clear the cookies and try again. Checkout as a quest. Add some small items to cart, I use more than 50 bucks. Type your contact info exactly as it appears on your CRs, type slow and hesitate when you're done for at least 2 minutes. If it doesnt work, X out of the shopping cart, wait a few minutes, and try again, maybe with a different browser. hth

I just tried it and it didn't pop up when I signed in. I cleared and went to check out as a guest and it let me out in the info. I was trying it for my bro who is building his credit and I got the 7-10 message. I'm guessing that's a denial.

  • Website payment and shopping cart buttons not working on Windows Phone browser

A customer shopping on our site notified me that the "add to cart" and "view cart" buttons were taking him to the PayPal main site and not the shopping cart. I tried a Windows Phone at the Verizon store and found the same issue. I have tested the site on multiple Windows desktop browsers, on Android, Linux and iPad and have never seen this issue.  What is going on with IE on Windows Phone?

I had this problem too, but I found a post burried on the web that said to add " p06- "  (without quotes) before the imap and smpt server names and that worked:
    p06-imap.mail.me.com
    p06-smtp.mail.me.com
Everything stays checked, SSL for both, authentication and use same username and password checked.

  • Search function in Catalog from Shopping cart does not work well

    Hello,
We use SRM 5.0 with CCM 2.0 and have the following situation:
From the shopping cart we open a catalog and want to search material by number, for example number 7. Entering this material number directly in the search funtion on the catalog screen, it brings us not only the position with material number 7 buy aso all positions we have a number 7 in its materialnumber (2371, 743, 9957, etc) and a 7 in its description (Screw Bolt 7/3 for example).
I wonder if this normal behaviour of the SRM system or is this an error (with a note OSS asociated).
If this is normal behaviour, how can one search for only the material 7?
    Thanks for any help,
    Aart

    Hi,
With regarding to items with 7 in the description
    - It should be consequence of your procurement catalog definition. In schema tab, Catalog characteristics in the /CCM/SHORT_DESCRIPTION you have checked the Relevant for text-based search check-box
With regarding to the 7 results
    - Please try using the advanced search option exact phrase or using "7"
    I hope this help
    Best regards
    Jorge

  • What's this Shopping Cart Trick I here of?

Check out this thread: http://ficoforums.myfico.com/t5/Credit-Card-Applications/Shopping-cart-trick-work-for-you-Please-add-to-list/td-p/2869327 I advise only getting a card that you really want anyway and will use as many (included myself) have indulged and regretted it later. You can get these cards via SP but you will still take a ding to your AAoA for the new account (although depending on your credit profile, this may not have a huge effect).  Hope this helps.

@core -- define "scores in the dump", please?  And thank you ;-)I wasn't doing great recordskeeping at the time, and I wasn't paying for myfico, but 10 days before I applied for the Sportsman's Guide, my Discover-provided FICO (TU 08) showed me at 647.  That's the "dump" for me because I was stuck there for 5-6 years with no hope; don't mean to offend anyone who just got there or anything. My EX score must also have been around 647 because both BofA and Discover provided that same EX score in unfavorable terms letters.  That same day, CapOne denied me for a QS and listed a CapOne-generated score of 672 based on EX data.   The SG was coming off the tail end of an app spree obviously; I only applied for it for kicks because someone posted a link.  I know those aren't all "real" scores but that's the best I can do with next to no records from a long time ago.  Also I used a backdoor link to get the shopping cart trick to work on Sportsman's Guide (search this forum for it, a new one was posted again within the last 2-3 mos), but I don't know for sure if that helped me or not.  I _know_ Comenity isn't stupid enough to hand out fat limits just based on some trick and no credit data, but it probably saved me the hard pull.

  • Shopping cart trick work for you?? Please add to list!

Hi all, I am making this post to explain the shopping cart trick. The shopping cart trick is from what i gathered mostly comenity bank cards. (not all of them) Go to there store, add items into your cart, go check out and put in your info (as it appears on your credit report)If that store approves you, you will recieve a pop up (or maybe a new screen) which says you are pre approved. It will have your brief info and ask you to type in your last 4 digits of your social. Some stores will say how much you are approved on the pop up (some dont) PLEASE READ THIS= -PRE APPROVAL- (which is what i am talking about) is when it says you have been PRE APPROVED (again might say amount) and asks you to ONLY TYPE IN LAST 4 DIGITS OF SOCIAL- this is what you want if you do not want it to show up on your credit report -PRE QUALIFY- this is when you have to bascially fill out a app. (type in more then the last 4 digits of social) THIS WILL SHOW UP ON YOUR CREDIT REPORT AS IT IS A HARD PULL i see many people who think they are the same.. THEY ARE NOT! not everyone will get the pre approval. If you dont, you can try in a week or maybe you need to opt in (google opt in/opt out) it is a site where you can choose whether you want to recieve offers of credit ect. If you have tried this trick..PLEASE  let us know if it has worked. I would like to get a complete list of stores to make it easier for those who wish to try, to find.  Myself, i got the pre approval for,1. victoria secret (this is usually the most easiet store from what i have heard)  $500 credit limit2. king size direct $250 limit (can also be used at 1 stop shop, brylane home and there other sister stores)-i also have a mandees store card but i got that one instore $300 limit i made accounts for both of mine before i got the pop up, not sure if that makes a difference.

  • Tried the shopping cart trick, with mixed results...

Since I have a recently-added false collection on my credit report, any hard pull is going to result in an automatic denial. I'm working on getting that removed, but I also want to get some more trade lines added to my credit reports. TU is currently 615 and EQ is 624.  I had been reading up on the shopping cart trick on these forums (to get credit accounts with soft pulls) and decided to try a few different ones. Here's how it went.  1. Express: I actually shop at this store fairly frequently, and buy my business casual clothes there. I put a couple of pairs of jeans in my cart, and went to checkout. I entered my information, and immediately got the preapproval popup. I applied and got a $500 credit line. Not bad. Plus I saved 20% on my jeans, and got an additional $20 off. Created my account on Comenity's website, and hit the LUV button: 7-10 day message.  2. Overstock.com: This is the one everyone says to try first, because they give generous limits and automatic CLI's. I decided to be adventurous and put a $1,200 patio set in my shopping cart, to see if that would have any effect on the credit line. I went to checkout, entered my details, got the popup and applied. This time it was only a $250 limit. I created an account on Comenity's website, and hit the LUV button, but no luck. Another 7-10 day message. I can't find anything on the site for $75 or less (30% of the limit) that I want to buy right now. I'm a bit disappointed in the limit, but we'll see how it goes over time. 3. Sportman's Guide: There is nothing I'd buy on this website, but since it's a VISA card, no need to bother. I put a couple of items in my cart, proceeded to the checkout, and got nothing. I tried several times yesterday, clearing my browser history each time. Still nothing. Just for giggles, I had my partner, who has amazing credit, try it as well, and still no popup. This might be one that you have to checkout as a member instead of a guest.  4. Walmart: Backed by Synchrony (amazon.com store card), not Comenity. Heard that they have the shopping cart trick as well, so I decided to try it: No luck. Couldn't get the popup to come up, and there's no way to check out as a guest.  5. Dillards: Another shopping cart trick that is not a Comenity card, but is backed by Wells Fargo. Added some stuff to the cart, went to check out, nothing. I think this might be because I used to be a Dillard's employee several years ago, and you had to get a Dillard's credit card to get your employee discount. They would give you a prepaid version of it if you couldn't qualify for the real deal, and I think somewhere in the system I still have that prepaid card.  6. Kirklands: Another Wells Fargo card. I couldn't get the popup to come up here either. Then again, I don't have a local store, so it's not all that important to me. So my takeaway was two new tradelines and a $750 bump in overall credit lines. It's better than nothing!

It's better than nothing!  $250 for Overstock, ouch that blows. Hope it grows if you decide to keep it. I tried the sc trick in November and I got the pop, entered my info and got approved for 2k. I registered for an online account right away and hit the luv button and got it increased to $2300. Haven't had much success getting an increase since. My DW tried it this week and she also got the pop up and got approved for $2000. She registered online and hit the luv button and got it bumped to $2200 hit it again and got the 7-10 day message. About Sportsman guide I have tried it constantly and never get the pop up and neither has my DW gotten the pop-up so it seems our reports don't fit their criteria because my sister tried it and she got the pop up and so did one of my uncles.

  • What was your credit score when you did the shopping cart trick?

Hey everyone! I have removed all but  two charge-offs and am paying monthly payments on one of those(Springleaf). My credit score is still terrible....a whopping 505....but, by removing 4 charge-offs it brought it up 36 points. It was 469. Gotta start somewhere. Lol. I have been reading about the shopping cart trick and wanted to ask y'all what was your credit score at when you succeeded? I have two judgments that I will file a Motion to Vacate this fall when I have them paid in full. Thank you very much. :-)

Mine is barely over 500.  Heck, I can't stay in the garden!  Just started gettin the SCT to work!  Have to many cc's. Maybe 18/19?  Got Overstock recently with a 16k limit!  I try to check out as a guest.  It seems to work better for me.  Got the Sportsman Visa the same way.  No hp's at all and around 28,250.00 in cl's.  Worth a shot or two.  Keep trying.  It took me about 2 months to get Overstock to work.  VS  should give you a card.  Probably a few more too.  Scores not excellent.  Not until it's over 800.

One is through Sportsman's Guide Visa (stated in the list) and MyPoints Visa (also stated in the list). There is also a sign up for the Total Rewards - which can preapprove you for that Visa. I was instantly preapproved for the Sportsman's Guide Visa as soon as I signed up through the Sportsman's Guide site. They gave me a $10,000 credit line with no questions asked and it was a soft pull as they only asked for the last four of my social. I was also instantly preapproved for the MyPoints Visa with a $2,500 credit line. Then - as soon as I signed up through the Total Rewards site a pop up instantly came up and approved me for the Total Rewards Visa. I declined this one as I've read of the extremely low starting credit lines. That one didn't appeal to me. All of the above were through instant pop ups. Hope this helps... My current scores: Equifax - 765   TransUnion - 735   Experian - 703   (Goal = 800)+1 I was also pre-approved for the Sportsman's Visa.  They gave me a 2K limit.  No luck with Total Rewards or Mypoints though.I got the sportman's guide to work for the first time ever, anyone know if they are generous with CLs? I dont want to take it and bring down my AAoA unless I have a shot @ 5k

  • Workflow for shopping cart ordering not triggered

    Hi Gurus,
we are running SRM 7.0 and we are facing a big issue in handling the shopping carts when created by interfaces.
basically, when we create a shopping cart via interfaces and not manually on the SRM, the shopping cart remains in status "Open" and it is not ordered. We can also see in the shopping cart (in the tab Approval Process Overview we can see that the Approval Status is Open - No Decision Made).
Can anybody give a hint on how having the worlflow to "order" the shopping cart executed also whenever a shopping cart is created by the interface and not manually?
Thanks a lot in advance (lot of points promised...)

Hi Masa, thanks a lot for answring!
    - It is a new implementation
    - We are using the new Processed-Controlled workflow
    - it works if I manually create a SC from the standard webdynpro UI and I click the Order button.
    - How can I check the receiving interface?
    thanks!

    Hi,

I have maintained strategic and operational purchaser roles for that user and product responsibility for that pruchasing group even then line item is not appearing in sourcing cockpit can any one among you throw some light on this.

  • Shopping Cart will not appear

I'm using iTunes 7 on Windows XP Pro, and I have not been able to access my Shopping Cart for the past 24 hours or so. The iTunes store works fine, and I can add songs into my cart, but when i try to access the cart, the operation "times out" - I even purchased directly from the iTunes store, and it downloaded the songs just fine, but the shopping cart still does not work. Any suggestions?
    SM

I've had the same problem for the past 36-48 hours. I've searched everywhere on the support website and the best I've been able to do, after uninstalling and reinstalling the software twice, has been to e-mail the company through the Contact Support link at the bottom of the page. I can access the store just fine and even add songs to the cart, I just can't view it. It is an unknown error (5002) with the store, so I'm assuming that only they can fix it. I will post again if I can get a definative answer out of them within the next 24 hours or so. Cheers.

  • Add Customer fields to Shopping Cart Wizard - Not showing on one screen

    Hi,
I have added 3 custom fields to the SRM portal (5.0), by adding these fields to structures INCL_EEW_PD_ITEM_CSF & INCL_EEW_PD_ITEM_CSF_SC, as described in OSS Note 672960.
On the Shopping Cart Wizard, these custom fields appear in the default settings for items & when adding a Limit Item.
However, they do not appear in the selection for "Describe Requirement".
How do I add them to this subscreen? I have tried copying the customer fields subscreen in Screen Painter from the Limit Item screen (in addition to flow logic and html template changes.) However, it doesn't work right this way.
    Please help.

Not sure which CUF BADI you are referring to, since there are 2 of them.
BBP_CUF_BADI - Not implemented, since this is used to change how custom sub-screens look and act by creating your own (if business logic is complex). Not relevant, since the Customer fields subscreen does not appear where we need it. We have no use for controlling it in the areas where it does appear.
BBP_CUF_BADI_2.- Implemented. Is used to control customer fields. Not relevant, since the Customer fields subscreen does not appear where we need it. We have no use for controlling it in the areas where it does appear.

    2) System created a PR in R3 system. Shopping cart history is showing Follow on document created.
    3) PR line item deleted in R3 system. Shopping cart history is showing follow on document deleted.
    4) PR line item Deletion indicator removed and subsequent PO created based on the PR. Shopping cart history still showing the follow on document Deleted. and the PO details are not showing in the Shopping cart history,
Please help how to resolve the issue,
    Thanks & Regards,
    Madhan.

    4) PR line item Deletion indicator removed and subsequent PO created based on the PR. Shopping cart history still showing the follow on document Deleted. and the PO details are not showing in the Shopping cart history,
Is it new PO created w.r.t that PR ? or old PO only?
since you removed deletion flag. again new sc must have created in srm side by transfer job . check it up.
Any these twos available in BBP_DOCUMENT_TAB table.

    Thanks Stephen,
I got one step further =)
Now there is at least an output from the codeblock.
    But:
    <asp:HyperLink id="lnkAddToCart" runat="server" ImageUrl="../../assets/common/icons/addtocart.gif"
                                    NavigateUrl="../../commerce/cart.aspx?AddPartNo=">Add To Cart.</asp:HyperLink>
shows the "Search" Button, which leads to the detail site.
But I didnt declared it nor wanted it to pop up there (http://195.226.73.238/catalog/partlist.aspx?CategoryID=9&serverid=balticpolo)
I use the original partlistblock, only with changes in style and order.
    Is the order important ?!

  • Shopping Cart is not Picking  Pricing from Inforecord.

    Dear All Guru's,
Kindly help me in this matter , as i m creating a Shopping Cart and I have also created an INFORECORD for the material which m using in this Shopping Cart. Here in INFORECORD i had maintained SCALES  in Pricing PB00 ( Gross Price ) , it is maintained as for Qty 1 the Price will be 500 EUR & for Qty 16 the Price will be 450 EUR.
As the Shopping Cart is created for Qty 16 , but even then the Price being picked is 500 EUR , But as per Scale Pricing the Price
picked should be 450 EUR as per Qty 16.
I m using this Scale Scenario first time in Shopping Cart , pl. guide me that is it really Possible to fetch Scale Pricing from INFORECORD to Shopping cart?
Also please guude that is there any mistake i had done in maintaining Pricing for Scales in INFORECORD ?
    Thanx in advance.

    Hello,
As far as I know, the standard behaviour about which price should be displayed in the SRM shopping cart when you have an assigned info record to the cart is that the price would not be fetched from the backend to the EBP system.
In SRM, the SC shows the product price and not the info record one (as you have assigned the product to the SC).
You can use BBP_DOC_CHANGE_BADI to fill the info record price during the shopping cart creation.
However, as your shopping cart takes the info record price, perhaps this behaviour has changed in new release.
Question 6 of FAQ note 550071 refers to this topic.
    Kind regards,
    Ricardo
