Overview of Flex, Spry needed

I'm looking for a broad overview of Flex, Spry, Flash and how
they may (or may not) relate to one another in an RIA environment.
I'm an experienced ASP/Javascript developer (not asp.net),
and know very little about Flash development. Obviously I need to
update my skillsets for the RIA world, but I don't want to waste my
time on short-lived or non-scalable technologies.
Can anyone point me to a website or book that provides an
unbiased overview of these technologies so that I can make a
decision for where I need to go next in the RIA world?

There are less Forms function numbers listed in the *.res file available with 10g than in the res file of Forms 4.5.
Quite a number of key-mappings to activate certain Forms function numbers seem to be no longer available. I was therefore wondering if the list in the 10g res-file is compleet or if some overview of all Forms function numbers is available so i can extend this file myself.
p.s. i do not mean Forms build-in functions. The Forms Help does not support any information on the Forms function numbers mentioned in the res-file (for details on what these are, see the "description" in the header of the 10g res-file).

Solution is very simple, just uncheck the "Group items by category" to display last version of Tour de Flex feauture which is default checked
and if you uncheck the "Show only the latest versions.." you will see all other versions.

Flex-Master Needed

I wish to hire an expert to teach me how to configure two

Flex Dataservices Needed for inline jsp FLEX??

Hi all,
Can anyone confirm is it is necessary to install Flex Data
Services to compile inline MXML in JSP pages?
I read about run-time compilation of Flex applications by
including the Flex-tag-lib in my J2EE program. I have a JSP page
with MXML tags, and I want to run the application and see the Flex
working. The problem is that the code isnt compiled to a SWF at
runtime.
So do i need to use a Flex Data Services application running
on my server to achieve this? Or is it something else i forget?

Flex 3 need help with panels in dynamic tabs

I am building an app where the user can add tabs as needed. Each tab will have 4 panels inside
it. I can't get my for loop to build the panels. It keeps erroring out.
So question is 1) How do I create these with a loop and 2) I am wanting to put data from a data provider in here. How can I reference the panel in the vbox in the tab control in the future? Thanks in advance.

Seen examples on flex 4 with Datagrid , but not on Flex 3 Datagrid

Thank you very much as it was a simple fix that I wasn’t even considering. It was typed as currency in Access and I just changed the type in Access to a number and it came through to the data grid in Flex as a number and allowed me to sort and perform additional calculations.
