IC Account Overview - Sales Transactions & Quote Transaction BP_BPBT
CRM 7.0
I activated the Account Overview screen in the IC and realized only the oldest 100 sales transactions and quotes are showing in BP_BPBT SALESOORDERSOV & SALESQUOTATIONSOV. For me these are documents from years 2005 - 2007, nothing recent. Is there a way to change this to the 100 most recent transactions?
As a workaround I found >>>
IMG entry > CRM > Master Data > Business Partner > Specify Display Options for Business Transactions
allows entries for Role / Area / Time Frame,
Is there another spot to configure time Frame? the entries I listed below but I would like a entry of current year and previous year.
I'm using Y A This Year in the interim.
D 0 Today
D+-1 Yesterday
D+1 Tomorrow
M A This month
M+-1 Last month
M+1 Next month
W*2 <- 14 days ->
W+-1 Last week
W+0 This week
W+1 Next week
Y A This year
Y+-1 Last year
Y+1 Next yearHopeful someone can provide some insight, I'm going to ask my developers to look at these badi's
Note 1131623 - BAdI for selection of business transactions at Accounts
Note 1478075 - BAdI for selection of business transactions at Accounts
1478075 has this comment but I see no place in this IMG entry in 7.0 to adjust the number of items >>>>>>>
SAP already provides a customizing at IMG for restricting the number of items which are retrieved and displayed in the assignment blocks:
Customer Relationship Management > Master Data > Business Partner > Specify Display Options for Business Transactions. -
Hi..
As per my client requirement I have to add an input field in LM19 screen first screen.
Is it possible to enhance the RF transaction screen using USER EXITS? I want to know the complete procees, how to do the things..
If I get the answer from anybody it will be a great help for me!!!
Thanks in Advance..
RajaHi Manoj,
Thanks for the information that you have given.
Pls look into my requirement.
in the LM19 initial screen:
In the initial screen create a field for CHILD HU above the current HU number.
User will either scan one of the CHILD HU (that needs to be packed) or will enter the Parent HU number if that already exists in the HU number field.
If Child HU number is entered then parent HU number is derived and populated in the HU number field automatically. The following logic will be used.
· Creates the pallet HU number by substituting the first position of the Child HU number with 1. Make sure the new number you derive after the substitution does not exist in the HU table. If it exists then substitute the first digit with 2 or 3 or 4 or 5 or 6 or 7 or 8 or
9. If all the numbers exist then give an message NO PARENT HU CAN BE DERIVED, SCAN ANOTHER CHILD HU.
As per my knowledge we can add fields that are available through standard transactions to the existing screens.
Currently these fields can be used for display purpose.
But according to my requirement I have to add input field called child hu through which I have to calculate Handling unit number and fill that handling unit number into Handling unit.
If you have any suggestions on this, pls let me know !!! -
Overview obsolete transactions
Hi all,
customers often ask: 'Currently I use SAPGui-transaction XYZ; do I have to use the WebUI now?'. Sometimes I struggle with the answer, because some GUI-transactiosn are still callable, eben if they should not be used anymore.
So is there a list of SAPGui-transactions which should not be used anymore within CRM7.0?
Best regards
ChrisHi Chris,
There is no such consolidated list of transactions available.
It is always recommended to use the Web UI for all the applications related use. eg end user cases
as that provides better usability and all the functionalities work in Web UI.
SAP GUI is meant for adminstration purposes, customizings etc. Customizings are not available in Web UI.

Shiping labels print from LM19 Transaction in WM
Hi all,
This is regarding shipping labels print from RF transaction LM19.
How it can be done?
I saw in some document that we can do it with the user exit provided by SAP, Which is accessed by function module LE_MOB_PRINT.
Please let me know the procedure Completely how to make use of this user exit.
Thanks in advance.
RajaPlease read the following documentation. Hope it helps.
==============================================Two user exits are available for the printing of transfer orders:
1. in RLVSDR40 -> MWMD0001 : EXIT_RLVSDR40_001
Print transfer orders (TOs)
2. in RLKOMM40 -> MWMD0002 : EXIT_RLKOMM40_001
Print TOs using the multiple processing task
Both user exits allow you to control the process of printing transfer orders. The two user exits also have the same transfer parameters. If you want a modification to become effective in both print reports, you must activate both user exits and include the code you have written in shared routine. This is possible since both user exit function modules are contained in the same function group. -
Is it possible to have Multiple Spool requests in one batch job overview?
Hi,
While running one of my z program in back ground, there are two spools generated (one by write statement and one by OPEN_FORM statement and both the spools are available in SP01 Transaction), but when i see the job overview in transaction SM37, I only see one spool request (that of the last spool request). Can any body in the group please tell me is it possible to see multiple spool requests in the job overview of one Abap program and if yes, how?
Thank you.
AbinashHi Jayanthi,
Thank you for the link. But probably that discussion was also an unsolved one.
Anyway, does any one in the group think that display of multiple spools per one step job is dependent on client / SAP Server setting? Because as evident from the chain of mails in the link provided by Jayanthi, some people say that they see multiple spool requests for one program in batch mode job overview (SM37)? If yes, can some body tell me the required configuration? -

Persistency and transaction problem
In CAF, if my model has a cardinality 0..1 (nullable in database), how can I make the generated create entity service to accept the parameters that are optional? I found that CAF will drop off those parameters by default.
Moreover, is it strange that both update and delete will accept a BO as parameter while the create is using parameters instead? Is there any rational behind?
At last, can someone give me a reference to the general overview of transaction management in CAF?
Thanks!Hi,
Are you using NW 7.0?.
In this version create method will take only mandatory attributes as arguments. But this is enhanced in CE 7.1.In CE 7.1, you can declare an optional(0..1) attribute as an argment of create.
Transaction management :
Tranasaction management of CAF is nothing but J2EE Transaction management only.

For your second question, I don't know whether there is a special reason. But one thing i can say that is :
Initially,we can create a record with all the mandatoryor(optional also)
and later we can update it with remaining attribute.

Runtime error CONNE_IMPORT_CONVERSION_ERROR in MM module
Hi all,
When we call the selection variants in the document overview in
Transactions ME21N, ME22N, ME33N, ME51N, ME52N, ME53N, ME54N, the
CONNE_IMPORT_CONVERSION_ERROR runtime error occurs.
Runtime Errors CONNE_IMPORT_CONVERSION_ERROR
Date and Time 28.05.2007 12:38:35
ShrtText
Error in IMPORT statement: Change of length on conversion.
What happened?
Error in ABAP application program.
The current ABAP program "AQZZ/SAPQUERY/MEMEPO==========" had to be terminated
because one of the
statements could not be executed.
This is probably due to an error in the ABAP program.
What can you do?
Print out the error message (using the "Print" function)
and make a note of the actions and input that caused the
error.
To resolve the problem, contact your SAP system administrator.
You can use transaction ST22 (ABAP Dump Analysis) to view and administer
termination messages, especially those beyond their normal deletion
date.
is especially useful if you want to keep a particular message.
Error analysis
When importing an object, it became apparent that one or more characters
would not be converted, or that conversion would result in a length
change. If you add the IGNORING CONVERSION ERRORS addition, the program
will not terminate, even though the object contains characters that
cannot be converted.
How to correct the error
If the error occurred in one of your own programs or in an SAP program
that you modified, try to correct it yourself.
You may able to find an interim solution to the problem
in the SAP note system. If you have access to the note system yourself,
use the following search criteria:
"CONNE_IMPORT_CONVERSION_ERROR" C
"AQZZ/SAPQUERY/MEMEPO==========" or " "
"%_IMPORT_VARI_CLNT"
If you cannot solve the problem yourself and you wish to send
an error message to SAP, include the following documents:
1. A printout of the problem description (short dump)
To obtain this, select in the current display "System->List->
Save->Local File (unconverted)".
2. A suitable printout of the system log
To obtain this, call the system log through transaction SM21.
Limit the time interval to 10 minutes before and 5 minutes
after the short dump. In the display, then select the function
"System->List->Save->Local File (unconverted)".
3. If the programs are your own programs or modified SAP programs,
supply the source code.
To do this, select the Editor function "Further Utilities->
Upload/Download->Download".
4. Details regarding the conditions under which the error occurred
or which actions and input led to the error.

Data reconcilation for All GL accounts through FDFD
Dear All,
I have executed the data reconciliation for GL account through FDFD, after executing this job; I am not able to view any data in the cash management report through FF7A. its showing no data exists.
Please let me know how to rectify this to view the cash position as per the GL balances.
Regards,
Rama MohanHello Rama,
It is a little late but maybe this answer will be helpful for someone else...
Something like this happened to me when I executed "Data Reconciliation", the thing that was happening is that the job didn't finish so it could just erase data but was not able to get data back, what I did was consult the log of the job through System --> Services --> Jobs --> Job Overview or transaction SM37, then I searched for my jobs and I saw that they were all canceled and the log said "The name of the printer ' ' doesn't exist" so what I did was add a new printer in system --> user profile --> Own data --> Defaults --> OutputDevice and I added a local printer like "LP01"; after this, I executed Data Reconciliation again and the job was succesful and it got data back.
I hope this can help.
Regards

PM Budget - Statistical WBS element
Hello,
My intention is monitoring the PM budget for a plant by linking every PM order to a statistical WBS element.
After posting on the PM order and performing costplanning via CJ40 i get a overview in transaction: S_ALR_87013543 - Actual/Plan/Variance Absolute/Variance %.
However. Not every PM order shows up in the report. I thought it had something to do with the moment you assign the WBS element to the PM order but this didn't prove to be a valid statement (before or after actual postings on PM order).
I can probably find out by extensive testing, but i was wondering if anybody knows if there are specific rules regaring the usage of statistical WBS elements in PM orders? More specificaly, when the assignment will NOT work and the actual costs will not show up in S_ALR_87013543.
Kind regards,
Peter HagemanSettling was done towards a Costcenter. The WBS element used is a statistical WBS element, that only can be used for reporting purpose. how the settlement rule is set up doesn't matter in this case.
Issue no longer exists.
Solution was evident. WBS element in the order was stored on the location tab, and in order to use CJI3, you have to link it on the additional data tab... -
We are using standard ESS leave request workflow Ws123000111.
This is working absolutely fine for us . We want that when approver receives a workitem in UWL tasks , a mail should be sent to his Microsoft Outlook Inbox. Also on approval/rejection , requestor should be notified by outlook mail about approval/rejection of his leave request.
When we run standard report RPTARQEMAIL , it shows correct email ids of requestor and approver , but at times mail is received by them and at times not .
Is there any other report we need to run after that or we are missing some settings .
Reward Points will be awarded for good useful answers.Do you mean sometimes user A gets the e-mails and sometimes not? Or do you mean that some users get the mail and others don't?
If it is the first one check to see if the emails are there in SCOT (or in the overview via transaction SOST) and if so if there are any errors. If they are there and the status is green, you should check with the exchange guys to see if there is a problem there.
If it is the second check if the users have an e-mail address maintained.
Regards,
Martin
