Overwrite files (emails,pictures text etc.) on ipod

Hey guys
I recently created a thread asking about emails and if they are recoverable on the ipod touch (apparently the sooner you try and recover them the easier) so I am creating another one asking if anyone knows how to overwrite emails (so if they are recovered the original message would not be there) on the ipod touch? I have the newest model and the first generation model.

Is there another way? I mean for the first generation 8g iPod touch if I buy a new 4th generation and transfer all my current data to it and restore or sell the old one to best buy it gamespot(who wipes the iPod clean) will this work?as for the new 4th generation iPod touch 36g I installed iCloud after I deleted the attachment I didn't want recovered and backed it up then installed iCloud? Will these methods endure no recovery of my past data will be traceable ?

Deleting an account from a device will not delete the information from the account, if that is what you are asking.

Developer Report 10g - How to generate directly a file ( pdf, html, text etc. )

this is my first ever post, I am new in the development area and facing a problem.
I am using Developer 10g, calling report through a Form Module and want to Directly save in file name specified but failed. My code to call report mentioned below for your ready reference. NO Parameter using in Report Module.
This showing report on Screen instead of giving output file, user have to use Save As command and also there is no file name which I sent to Report Module.

but how I can do it? report runtime should call and when it will complete then one can save but again how ? will you please give me an example. I do not want the user to see the output instead report should save in a location which is in SET_REPORT_OBJECT_PROPERTY(rep_obj,REPORT_DESNAME,:TEXT_BLOCK.FILE_NAME);
Please consider, I already have mentioned that I am new in this area. I tried google to search but failed. some PDFs downloaded but nobody has mentioned there to use WEBUTIL package to save this report output.

How do delete my files-email, docs, contacts, etc-on a friends computer after I used it!

My files are on my friends new MacBook Pro after I used his machine when mine was being serviced. I need to delete them! Help.

The first step is to make sure you have copies of those files somewhere else unless you are certain you are done with them.
Assuming your friend created a separate Mac use account for your use while he used it on another account, log back onto your account, sign off any email/contact/calendar/store/music accounts that you signed into (especially iCloud), then log off that Mac account and have your friend logon his admin account and delete your account using the "Delete the home folder" option.
If you have been the only one using the new MBP, you'll still want to sign off all accounts, but your friend may find it simpler to restore the MBP to "just unboxed" state using the Recovery HD or Network Recovery.
If you and your friend have been sharing a single Mac account, write back; it's going to be more complicated to unravel things.

So just to be clear, when you say "just bought" how long ago was that? Is it on this new iPhone that you had pictures, texts, etc that you want? Were you backing up to iCloud or onto iTunes?
This may not help for everything but if you go to iCloud.com and log in, are you able to find your pictures there?

This article explains ways to reduce your iCloud storage: Managing your iCloud storage. In addition to what's mentioned in the article, if you have lots of photos and videos attached to your text messages, these are all included in your iCloud backup and deleting them can sometimes significantly reduce the size of your backup.
If worse comes to worse, back up your phone to your computer rather than iCloud. To do this, connect it to your computer, open iTunes and go to File>Devices>Back Up and to File>Devices>Transfer Purchases. This can be used to restore your data when you get your phone back. (In fact, it's faster because you don't have to download the data from iCloud.)

I cannot save pictures from facebook to "my Pictures" files on my hard drive. There is no place to indicate the type of file, such as jpg etc.

I have been copying a picture & pasting it on my AOL email & saving photos from Facebook from email . Also, I cannot watch videos posted by my friends on Facebook.
Firefox works fast on scrolling thru Facebook but I haven't found it to be that helpful for simple things I want to do.

On the first issue about pictures.
* You can set Firefox to ask you where to save the file rather than always using the Downloads folder. This article describes how to set that: [[Startup, home page and download settings]].
* When you say "there is no place to indicate the type of file, such as jpg etc." is the problem that Facebook isn't including that in the file name and you need to add it? If you could explain this part a bit more.
* Another way to save pictures is to use the Page Info dialog. While on the page with the images, you can use either: * right-click and choose View Page Info > Media * Alt+t (open the classic Tools menu) > Page Info > Media As you scroll down the list, you can preview and use the Save As button to save those "hard to get" images.
On the second issue about videos.
* Do you see a gray space indicating that you need a plugin? Or does the video not play when you click it? Please explain what you're experiencing in a little more detail.
* In case you do not have the Flash player plugin for Firefox, you can get it here: http://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/ (make sure to uncheck any unwanted extras that Adobe might offer). If you do the download from IE, you won't get the right version. In that case, use this link to choose the non-IE plugin: http://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/otherversions/

You will also have to uncheck your phone number is Settings>Messages>Send and Receive. You can't delete the phone nunber since it associated with your yur accounbt whch has the phone.

If you want the shuffle to be always visible in Windows (outside of iTunes), you need to Enable disk use.
Select the shuffle in the iTunes sidebar, under DEVICES. Over to the right, select the Summary tab. You should see a checkbox that says Enable disk use. Check it and click Apply.
NOTE: If disk use is enabled, you have to Eject the shuffle in iTunes, BEFORE you physically disconnect it. If disk use is NOT enabled, you can disconnect the shuffle at any time, as long as iTunes is not doing something with it at that moment (such as syncing); the shuffle's light will then be blinking (to indicate DO NOT DISCONNECT).
So, unless you want to use the shuffle like a USB flash drive (carry random files on it), you may want to NOT Enable disk use.

The iPod will only have a phone numnber for Messages and FaceTime if the same ID is currently being used with an iPhone with iOS 6 and and that ID is used for Messages and faceTime.
There is no way to add a phone number to an iPod otherwise.
Also, on the iPod yoo can only send and receive Messages from other users who use the Apple Messages app.

How to move all music files and pictures from Ipod nano to a new Windows computer that was not backed up on an external harddrive, only found on my ipod.

My windows lap top was recently destroyed to the point of no recovery.
All of my music and picture files are still located on my ipod and I plan on getting a new windows laptop

Copy the iTunes library from your backup as below:

Quick answer if you use iTunes' default preferences settings: Copy the entire iTunes folder (and in doing so all its subfolders and files) intact to the other drive. Start iTunes with the option (shift on Windows) key held down and guide it to the new location of the library.
Sync with the restored library.
